Renee did an excellent job finding the part for my 20 year old snow blower. In October, I bought a new Snow blower. My salesperson Nick did a great job. He is very knowledgeable, and no pressure.Bob, the man who delivered my unit was likewise. He took the the time to show me everything I needed to know about my Airens. I was so impressed, Im considering coming out of retirement to become part of their team!Best experience, EVER!
Not happy at all. Ive been there several times, and theyre always slow, and often rude. I needed an ignition switch for my cub cadet, and asked them to check my old one, which I brought in with me. I had already checked it, and just wanted their professional expertise. They could have have said no, we dont do that. Instead, they told me a bald-faced lie. They said it could only be checked if it was connected to the lawn mower. This is completely untrue, and they must know that if they repair mowers. I can only assume that they were trying to scam me into paying for a house call. I went home and bought the switch online for less than half the price. Mower is fine now. Say goodbye to a long-term customer.
Power Barn always does a top notch job. Very willing to work with you in terms of schedule, what work you need done, etc. Theyve been backed up this spring, but so has everyone else. Normally theres good turnaround time.
Amazing company . I had issues with my generator and they helped me get everything right .Friendly staff great service more than fair pricingCome in check out all the deals onHusqvarnaCub cadetGravelyAnd more.Any questions feel free to call in . Love these guys !! Great place to get your next zero turn or self mowing yard equipment .This coming from a retired Storm chaser and journilest ...Quality has a name and itsThe power barn!!
I purchased a new Cub Cadet riding mower and was treated right from the beginning. With quality products and many years of experience Power Barn is the right place to go for outdoor equipment. I recommend it!
We have an older machine. They were able to get our part on order!!! Very happy we dont have to buy a new one yet.
Its 50/50, some staff are eager to help and others are not
The plan e is over all good but the lady at the counter is rude and has a major attitude issue... maybe she shouldnt deal with customers lol....
This is a wonderful place to get parts and other equipment you need.
I have a Ariens zoom 60 inch cut zero turn mower that I purchased from the power Barn a few years ago. I cant say enough about the expertise of the sales team, service, and quality of my mower. Every experience Ive had with the power Barn has been one that leads me to feel like the professionals working here know there products and the parts to repair and maintain them. So if you find yourself in need of a new unit or parts for your Gravely, Ariens, Husqvarna and many others give the power Barn a call and see for yourself!
Excellent service! Bob was very helpful and set me up with my new Gravely ZT/HD 60.
The girl at the counter wasnt knowledgeable or helpful. She seemed to not want to have to bother with us. Normally a good place but they might want to rethink the help.
Came for delivery. In 9:05, out 9:25. They have a dock in back of building facing East. Plenty of room for semi and overnight parking. Ground can be soft when wet. Quick and nice people.
Not a fan.Really wanted to support a local shop and get my mower serviced. I took our gravely to them because it would drive in circles when you pushed the handles up together. This is a pretty easy adjustment. Also needed a 200 annual maintenance service.$530 later they told me that they installed new blades (I own several sets of blades already) and that they changed the hydrolic oil ($180 for oil and filters) a service I had done just 40 hours previously) and that the $200 service included sparkplugs and motor oil. They also without communication installed a tube in a front wheel. She said so do you want him to take the blades off?Yes! Please. So at the end of the day I had spent 460 for my oil change and sparkplug. And they had not adjusted the speed which was my initial request. This took more than three weeks.
Very attentive and friendly. Affordable and excellent products.
Purchased a mower and was delivered same day! Mower had minor issue so I contacted them and they picked it up and returned it a few hours later all fixed up. Friendly people. Good service.
Good but desk staff are always rude, crabby & unhelpful. Really need new front desk staff
Respectful positive people who work here
Nice people willing to go out of their way
Prompt service great place for cub cadet parts
I brought in my chainsaw to have it looked at due to it not staying running. Before it was even looked at, the woman at the desk said it would cost at least $150 to repair it because its $80 an hour for labor. So I told her that I would take it to Jackson Kubota because it wouldnt cost nearly as much....because Jackson Kubota is closed on Saturday, I thought I would be able to receive the same kind of respectful and honest service at The Power Barn, wow, was I wrong.....so she told me to take it there than.It was only the filter, I cleaned the filter and it runs like a champ now.
Great staff, great service like always!
The buying experience with them was good. The first service experience was satisfactory. The second was a nightmare. They kept my brand new mower, in the elements, for 5 months. Now its rusted all over. Scratched it. I talked to 3 other Cub Cadet dealers in the surrounding areas. The elemenets will cause probelms with moisture over time. Their front desk help is rude, and thinks its ok to rant and cus in front of my 6 year old son. I now find out my serial number is wrong, and is registered with some guy in Troy, who bought a mower with them, about 3 months after me. They refused to deliver my mower, after being told there would be no charge, by Brian at their Mason location. This place is a nightmare. No aplogies, and Robert the owner refused to talk to me, after I was informed his staff was not qualified to handle my delivery problems with them. I can no longer say a good thing about them.
Always professional...and ready and eager to help.
Wonderful staff at the Power Barn! Amber and Bob went above and beyond to help with our second mower purchased from them. Stayed open after hours to accommodate our schedule. HIGHLY recommend them for all outdoor equipment sales!
Bought a new Cub Cadet from the Power Barn a short time ago. Was a competitive price. They did a great job getting her put together and delivered to me shortly after they arrived. So far I got its 1st 5 hr use & oil change. When I did the pull the yellow sleeve & then turn it a quarter turn to drain the oil it kinda came apart. Just used my fingers, no pliers involved. Quickly put her together & drained the old oil. Cleaned up the mess, put paper cloth under the Kool guy drain to make sure not leaking. Other than not having a fondness for new style oil pan plug, a good purchase so far.
Great people at this location. I showed up with my Gravely zero turn for a yearly maintenance check and they told me I didn’t need much since it only had 25 hours on it so they said just a oil change will be needed. Thanks for the help and I will be a returning customer.
Professional, courteous, and customer-oriented service. I highly recommend The Power Barn of Jackson, you will not regret.
Start up business still sorting things out it appears.
Very helpful in sales and delivery. Took delivery yesterday and have already used the Cubcadet 30 inch lawnmower tractor. Only used it 1 time and it ran like a champ.
The people at the Power Barn are very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. They explain various items your interested in and provide excellent service. They have made a customer for life. Thanks so much Bob for you honest integrity and great pricing!
Very helpful people
I went in for the wrong part they knew exactly what I needed and what had gone wrong. They gave me the part I needed and explained how it broke.
The staff was great to work with. They helped me find the best mower for me.
First time in a long time, Very helpful and kind to the customers. When I was there.
Fixed my cub cadet chipper quickly and cheaply. Will return is service is needed again.
Great service and very fast.
Stopped in, with the intention of buying a new garden tractor. Had done exhaustive research, so I had a pretty good idea of what I was looking for, and how much I wanted to pay. The staff was very knowledgeable, and extremely helpful, answering all my questions and then some. The deal was great as well. I was able to step up to significantly more tractor than I expected, for nearly the same price that I expected to pay. It was even delivered same day. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to purchase a new piece of equipment.
I initially started out with the Power Barn in Holt thats where it was purchased and Ive owned my mower for 2 years now. I wont lie it was not a good experience with the Holt location. This year when it broke down, I contacted the Holt store told them what the situation was and for some reason got transferred to the Jackson store but I am so very happy that I did.I wish I knew who it was that I spoke to at the beginning and he actually thought after he troubleshooted it over the phone with me that we had it fixed. Unfortunately we didnt so I contacted them back and they scheduled to pick up for the next morning. The individual that picked it up I believe his name was Bruce was one of the most nicest understanding caring person Ive ever met! They had sent him to the wrong address but he was still just as delightful as ever.I was so ecstatic when they called that day and said they already had it fixed and wanted to schedule delivery for the next day. The starter had went out even though it was new mower. It was delivered back to me with a smile and Ive mowed twice since then. I have nothing negative to say about the Jackson Power Barn Im so happy to deal with them and I would recommend anybody to them thank you so much!!!!!
Very knowledgeable awesome place to buy lawn tractors and push mowers
These people are RUDE !!!!! Got the wrong part went to return it,got into a shouting .match charged me 15% to take back the wrong part. I went down the road to tractor supply got the part for $30 less. I called on another occasion for a starter for the same mower they wanted $175 for it,ordered the same part from Amazon for $50 . They are rude highway robbers.
Very good and professional service.
I popped into this place last week.Expecting to kick tires.I was looking for a Gravely Pro 160 or 260.Was offered such a great deal that I had to pay cash right there on the spot. The Power Barn came in 600 less that one dealer and $1200 less than another. Not sure how he does it but, Im coming here more often!
I broke a mower belt and stopped by to get a new one, they where very friendly and helped us get back on the road.
They went out there way to accommodatem during their busy season. Cant thank you enough. My mower is as impossible to me during the spring grow season as my car.
The Power Barn with on point with a Cub Cadet
This was the worst customer service experience of my life. Our mower was brought in for service on May 28th. It is now July 3rd and we still dont have it back. It was there for over 2 weeks before it was even looked at. It wouldve been nice if we had been told beforehand that they were so behind that it would be weeks before they could look at it. When it was finally looked at, we were told it would take about an hour to repair. THEN the part had to be ordered and would arrive in a couple days. This went on for weeks as well. It was always coming but never arrived and not ONCE during the weeks they had our mower just sitting there or the weeks they were waiting for a part did they reach out to explain the status or apologize. Every single time there was any communication at all, was because my husband called them to ask what was going on just to get the run around. We were most recently told that the part would be arriving Fri June 28th and it would be fixed when it arrived. Well, of course we never heard from them Friday and called Monday only to be told it had indeed come in Friday but no, it wasnt fixed and keep your fingers crossed that it might be fixed today. When my husband explained that it was supposed to finally be fixed when the part arrived, the person on the phone rudely snapped, we cant just stop another job. Needless to say, it wasnt repaired Monday either...or Tuesday. It is now Wednesday July 3rd and is supposed to be delivered today...we arent holding our breath. Weve had to pay for lawn service since the end of May because of this fiasco and they have not been even the slightest bit apologetic for all this inconvenience. I will never use their service again. I would travel out of town if necessary because anything is better this kind of hassle. Unless you dont need your mower for half the summer...dont take it here. Its been 5 weeks or more for a repair that takes an hour, zero communication, and rude staff.
Great service this morning when purchased mower this morning . Knowlagable staff was able to answer all questions prior to purchase . Definitely 5 stars !
Bought new gravely zt hd 60, no pressure while I was shopping, answered all my questions, explained the difference between models clearly while helping me select the one for my yard., And have bent over backwards to make sure things are right since the sale. Couldnt ask for a better experience.
The person who asnwered the phone was extremely rude. She said harshly that she was too busy to look up my part I needed and took my number to have someone call me back which never happened. If youre in need of quick service, pick somewhere else
Awesome the guy working there was very friendly and helpful I will be buying my next lawn mower for there!
Had my Poulan lawn-tractor picked up to see what it would take to fix it. They called 2 and half weeks later to tell me it would cost $800.00 to fix and said it didn’t seem worth it. I asked if I could take a few days to think about it and if I decided not to have it done, I’ll look into buying one from them. The guy said no problem. I called them back 3 days later and told them I decided not to have it fixed. They delivered it three days later. I was at the VA Hospital most the day. I came home and saw that my lawn tractor was dropped off. They didn’t bother putting air in the tires and dragged my tractor across the lawn. I saw the seat was busted as if someone pulled on it too hard with something as the seat was padded but had high impact plastic on a solid stamped steel base, numerous scratches, and the steel fuel pump bracket was bent past 45 degrees. I have some medical conditions that can take a lot out of me. I called them 4 days later to tell them about the damage. The first woman I spoke to keep drilling me as to why I would wait 4 days to call. I told her that wasn’t the point. She insisted no one at the power barn would do that. She repeatedly said Glen has been with them for 20 years and he wouldn’t break the seat like that. I told her, I didn’t know who did it. I suggested it could have happened at any time from being picked up till it was dropped off. She keep repeating over and over, each time with more intensity that Glen, wouldn’t do that!” I snapped at her and told her to ask him then. She angrily told me to have a good day and hung up on me. I called back after I claimed down and another woman answered. I asked to speak to someone in authority. She told me in a degrading tone I shouldn’t ask to speak with someone in authority as I don’t know if someone answering the phone maybe someone in authority. I then explained to her the story of the broken seat again. This time I was just drilled by her as to why I didn’t I call on the day I received my tractor. This went on for almost 5 minutes, and then I was told it will be looked into and then she began to hang up. I tried to tell her as she was saying good bye, she didn’t take my name or phone number, and she just hung up. I read the bad reviews here before I had my lawn tractor picked up. I didn’t notice at the time reading them, show a pattern of not taking responsibility for their mistakes. Yes, if they didn’t make a mistake, it’s all good and everybody is happy. But, if they make a mistake, in their eyes, they do no wrong. So, just remember if you have work done by them, you have a good chance it will be good. But, if your one of the few of us where they didn’t do it correctly, then you’ll just have to deal with it, cause they won’t own their mistakes. Just look at their star rating, less than 3.5. Would you really want to take that chance? Notice how the Owner only responded to the good reviews? If the Power Barn responds to me and fixes this, I will update this review. To your response: I guess if they dont think your property is worth anything, they can do any damage they want to it, as it wasnt worth anything. The tires were fine and are holding air now. Nothing you said explains the damage that occurred while in your procession. Im glad your able to change your policy and I recommend that people should now take pictures of their property before releasing it to your company, or any company. Its all about the Benjamins. As I stated before, you can see how they dont take responsibility for what they do wrong. If the tractor was beyond its usable life as you stated, why was I quoted $800.00 to repair it? There are cars older than my end of life tractor that are still on the road today, using the same technology that lawn tractors use, so Im not sure what your implying about your companys ability to repair older equipment. To say it didnt run is a false statement as I jumped it the day before the pick up and it ran fine. You state you can work on different brands, maybe not Poulans? I said Glen as not to say G**e
All staff members were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond!
Absolutely great service from the Power Barn. They service my mower & snow blower annually and always do a top notch job. I highly recommend the Power Barn!
Bought a new cub cadet lawnmower. Very nice people.
Never have anything in stock to expensive
Great place to do business with. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Well i went to the power barn today 5/2 / 19 . And i was not impressed. The young lady was very rude i will from now on do business elsewhere. Not happy.
Our Ariens self propel mower we got from here is still going strong after 19+ years! Knowledgeable staff and was great to have pickup available!
Great staff very helpful and knowledgeable
I drive semi truck with 53 feet trailer. I had a delivery at this business. Stop you truck on Page Ave and familiarize yourself with open space they havethere. You will make it.
They mustve flagged my review because they didnt like my honesty in their terrible service and sales.
To be honest, I used to go to Weingartz but their service was terrible, they lied more times then I can count and were very expensive. My mower died on me the other weekend and I knew it was time to find a new shop to take care of my Cub Cadet xt2. I emailed The Power Barn about my situation, and even before asking to work on it, they suggested checking out some common issues first. Then, when that didnt solve it they scheduled a pickup and fixed my mower so quickly! I only had to pay the very reasonable pickup/delivery fee. They made sure the rest was covered under the warranty. They have won a new long time customer.
Dishonest, rude, incompetent service. Brought equipment in for service, never got it back. Would give negative stars if that was an option. Update: Received call from Power Barn on 11/25/2019 to talk about the snowblower they picked up in January 2019 for repair. Unbelievable.
Good price, knowledgeable on equipment, friendly and trustworthy (Renee} thanks
Friendly sales people to do business with
Horrible customer service! Extremely rude staff! Removed our name off service list with no notification of explanation!
Thanks for hanging up on me. Then putting me on hold for 8 minutes. First and last time customer.
Lady at the counter was rude and not helpful! Will travel to a different location before going back to the Jackson store. Was not even willing to help me unless I had a model number.
Good people good machinery and good price
Takes forever for them to get a part 3 to 5 days 2 weeks and still waiting!
Took my mower in for some warranty work and these guys went above and beyond, in no time I was back to cutting grass. A thank you to all the staff!
Do not take your lawn mower or any appliance here. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT DO HONEST WORK. My uncle took his brand new Husqvarna mover in to be serviced. When our mower was returned it broke down immediately!!! Then we had to fight with the business owners to get the mower fixed again!!! But wait the story gets WORSE. When we got the brand new mower back from them correcting their mistakes, the tires were on backwards, the blades were loose, it was like they were mad that we complained about THEIR mistake so they sabotaged the mower instead of just fixing it. I myself as a business owner think this is very bad to do to the public. DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT BE A VICTIM.
Staff was rude, and they did not know their products.
Sold me 10 gallons of propane to fill 2 tanks. I got 8 gallons. The lady said her boss told her to charge for 5 gallons for a fill up. Got me for $5 but never again
Terrible customer service, staff doesnt know the parts for tractors they sell.
Great priced
Have great worker
Sweet
Amazing service!!!
Nothing good to say
