I went to this Ulta specifically to smell anew perfume. I sprayed many and really enjoyed my time smelling the perfume. NOT ONE STORE ASSOCIATE SPOKE TO ME THE ENTIRE TIME. I was in the store for maybe 15mins in the perfume sections. The store wasn’t busy at all. Maybe 5 customers in the store including myself. There was no trash to put the tester in so I asked the girl at the register and said I’ll take them. I said thank you and she didn’t even say your welcome or even respond for that matter. Glad I didn’t buy anything because I probably would have had to check myself out. Off to Sephora.

I was just there, i was shopping around in the stores and i decided to go to ulta and my husband was with me, i was looking around what’s new in the makeup section and trying some of the shades on my hand, all the employees where nice asked me if i need anything i said no since I’m just browsing, one of the employees was following me around everywhere she made me feel like a thief, my husband was telling me all the time to leave because she was following me, i did purchase couple of things, but that is not a way to treat a customer and assume they are here to steal l. I say that of experience because i used to work for estee lauder. I thank the other employees for being nice to me and my husband.

I had an appointment for a cut, and when I arrived the stylist refused to wear a mask. Even if you live under a rock and are not aware of the current dangers with Covid, what about the “yes ma’am if you’d like me to wear a mask I will” customer service? The woman was rude and clearly ignorant of the facts. I will not have my hair cut somewhere that the staff is not being safe. Sad…

Love the haircuts I get from Bailey. The stores staff is very accommodating, no pressure to buy but knowledgeable.

Was given a half greet, open the door and heard a h and nothing else. No one offered me any assistance, spoke to me, walked right by me, not even as I was leaving out nothing. Did no feel welcome to come back, wont be back.

This store does not respect the United States Constitution and personal rights. I no longer shop at stores that force their employees or patrons to wear masks. They choose to operate in the United States of America they should choose to respect the individual citizens rights. I no longer shop here since 2020.

A store employee was super friendly while I was looking for something. She walked me to three different places where item could be and recommended another place when we couldnt find it. Great customer service. Would shop again.

First time in this Ulta and was impressed. They had tons of workers ready to help and all extremely nice. They have a hair salon in the back in addition to services for facials and brows. Would definitely go back again to try a haircut. Seemed very organized and clean.

*salon review* Amanda is AMAZING! She took the time to really listen to me about things I wanted to try with my hair and gave me real advice. This girl knows what she is talking about! I have black hair and explained to her I am tired of it just being plain black. We settled on putting splashes of color to give my hair a little bit of personality. She nailed it and I love it!Note: picture was taken a day after, not right after she styled it. Yay for a splash of color!

First, the lighting in this store is MUCH better than Sephora. Though I like the customer service from both. You never know how important lighting is until you pick the wrong foundation... Just got my first Morphe eyeshadow palette and cant wait to try it out! Definitely recommend this store if youre looking to update your beauty routine.

GRACE IS AN AMAZING HAIR STYLIST. I AM 60 AND HAD PERMS SINCE I WAS 16 AND WE TALKED ABOUT ME JUST WANTING A BODY WAVE AND I WENT WITH BIGGER PERM RODS AND IT IS PERFECT .I HAVE HAD THE OWNERS AND THE OLDER HAIR STYLIST DO MY FINE HAIR CUZ NORMAL I DONT GO UNDER 30 FOR SOMEONE TOUCHING MY HAIR ...GRACE IS YOUNG AND ALSO A GREAT HAIR STYLIST. I haven’t really had a problem with this location, other than being super low stock/out of stock on most things I’m needing. I thought I hit the jackpot today as they had everything I needed, but then.....I bought a beauty blender from there that had apparently been used and put back on display to sell.When I went to wet it for the first time, makeup and soap were both being squeezed out of the sponge.Not happy and totally grossed out.

This salon is terrible! Never have I experienced something like this. I’ve been to many salons before and don’t mind paying a good amount for my hair and going through the process of fixing my hair. I’ve gone through many different colors before and color corrections.My color is brassy and applied unevenly. I can understand that it’s a process and my hair will be on the brassy side especially for what I had. You can see below how uneven it is. I specifically asked for my new growth to be covered because I’m very self conscious about the color. When she was blow drying my hair, I could see the ‘hot roots’. She didn’t cover my new growth and I had a band of black below it then the highlights. I even told her I wouldn’t mind it being black/dark brown up on my roots I just really wanted them covered and have like a shadow root or something.Also, another thing to mention is they had no receptionist available that day I guess so she left the service with lightener on my to go answer the phone as well.My haircut is a different story. I asked for it to just be evened out because I had a grown out lob and choppy layers. She was rushing with the cut I feel like because it was getting close to closing time. She also just chopped all my thick hair off in one layer. It looked good at the moment because it was curled. I never really straighten or blow out my hair but I did the other day and noticed how bad it was. One side was literally longer than the other. I also asked for bangs that day too and she forgot so I was kinda upset about that.I’m usually one to bite my tongue and don’t like rating bad on people. It took me a lot of courage to speak up about my hair. I called 14 days after my appointment because I came to the reality that this is not okay.So, yesterday I called into the salon and the salon manager wasn’t in so I spoke with the Ulta manager. She took my info and said that she’d get back eventually. It irritated me that she didn’t give me a time frame for her to get back to me.The salon manager called back today and we spoke about everything I said here. I told her my issues and she said there is nothing she can do and she would have to see my hair but I can’t do that because another stylist has fixed it. After the service she gave me I didn’t feel comfortable going back - it’s destroyed. Obviously I’m not going to wait to get my hair done when it’s uneven and I wasn’t going to come back there. I told her I can send her pictures of my hair straight and blown out to prove how uneven it is and she refused. She said she is only going off of the stylists photos that she posted on Instagram - Which my hair is curled in (you can still see the unevenness though). Why would you refuse to even see my side and look at my photos? I paid $490 that day and it’s ridiculous. What I don’t understand is why can’t you even just look at my hair and how it actually is now? Why wouldn’t you just even hear out my side of the story? How is it fair at all to just go off a stylist’s pictures of the day it was done? Which don’t even show my whole head. I’m just going to corporate now because this is ridiculous. Again, I understand the color is a process and I’m fully aware of that. However she definitely could of handled the color better (especially the root part) and the cut is just a mess. This salon does not care about the satisfaction and opinions of their clients obviously.

Amanda is hands down my favorite stylist Ive ever been to! Her cuts, color techniques and head massages are top notch. I am so relieved to find a stylist I can rely on in Jacksonville. Amandas entire staff is attentive, professional and goes above expectations.

This is my favorite Ulta, I have never had a bad experience here. Everyone is helpful, the store is always clean and they just got the Dermalogical spa. I frequently hit up the Benefit brow bar at this location and it is always a treat, I end up looking fly.

I get my haircut by Amanda. She is beyond talented. When I I moved to Jacksonville I had the most difficult time finding a stylist. Finding Amanda was such a blessing in my life. I always receive so many compliments after I get my hair cut and colored. She is AMAZING with color!!!!! You are missing out if you don’t have her as your go to stylist!

If I didnt have to leave any stars, I wouldnt. I went into this Ulta yesterday, it was closer to base than St. Johns. So I was expecting the same great experience I received at other Ulta stores here. Nope!!! I wasnt greeted like the othe ladies that entered the store; I watched plenty enter, waves, smiles, and welcomes exchanged. I walked in, silence, absolutely nothing. It wasnt busy, so there was no excuse for that. Secondly, while browsing, an associate came to the makeup area, where there was myself and about three or four white women. She asked them if they needed assistance, one was even on the same aisle with me, but she asked her from the aisle behind us so she didnt have to come around and speak to me. Nevertheless I left without making a purchase, my black money and I can go elsewhere for some actual respect, real selection to choose from, and better staff. Step up your customer service for everyone, theres no reason to leave room for suspicion of racism. It was a terrible experience and it made me angry to be treated as if invisible. I will be contacting corporate, hopefully this store will benefit from some training.

Love the salon at ulta! Bailey and Diane are my get to girls. Diane got my son in the same night and fixed his hair after a barber shop did an awful job! She was sweet and my son welcomed her with open arms.Bailey is amazing at colors. I would highly recommend these two ladies.

I’ll put it this way....I live literally across the street from this location, but 9/10 I will make the 12 min drive to the town center location due to the customer service (or lack thereof) I experience at this location every single time I come here. It is a miracle to even get a greeting when you walk in the door. If the stars align just right, the ONE associate that works the makeup area will ask if you need help.

I made small error and MGR fabulous about working through!

Went here to get hair products to fix my hair after a bad hair job and got coned into letting them try to fix it. They made it worse and then argued with me about it and said it was messed up before you got here! Told them I wasnt going to pay for them making it worse and the stylist and manager said you cant leave with our paying for the work we did. The next day i went to a High End salon and she said both people did a horrible job and must be beginners. Dont take a chance on going here you will be disappointed. They only want to your money and will fight with you, terrible customer service. Wish i could give them NO STARS.

Scheduled a haircut. When I arrived, theyd changed my appointment time by 30 min and the person it was scheduled with without asking or notifying me. The person I was rescheduled with was nice, but very new to haircutting and I was not happy with my experience or style. I paid anyway because i wanted to get out of there, but on the way home I called and spoke to a manager. She handled my complaints by saying thank you, Ill pass your feedback on terrible experience made worse by lack of action from management.

This place is great because they have tester tubes of products so you can try on makeup colors before you buy. Yay I dont need to buy the wrong shade.Update 6/28/19. Hadn’t been there for awhile and on my 2nd trip I had a bad experience waiting in line 20 mins with 1 cashier (2 cashiers for part of the time) for a VERY long line and someone had a complex transaction. Meanwhile there were a lot of idle helpers in the aisle that don’t do cash register work i guess. This store should respect the customers’ time.
