What a nightmare trying to get customer service from all but possible a handful of experienced, not yet disgruntled staff. Hey Tops, I dont know is not a valid answer to a customer question. The 2 Star rating represents a cumulative average of a lifetime of shopping experiences at this location.

Prices have increased, its usually cheaper to go to Wegmans...and they have better quality produce

They have 1 handicapped cart. When it is available, it loses its charge quickly. I often find it at the entrance not plugged in. Also, have a very hard time getting a cart! None in the lobby, but a parking lot full! Frustrating!! Listen to the cashiers talking about personal stuff while ringing customers out, some cashiers dont even say thank you.

Found what I needed no problem

I love this Tops! They deserve 5 stars...But...With today being the start of a new cycle for their circulars, it seems crazy that they were completely out of some of the items on sale-specifically wanted Tops cooking spray, which by the space allotted, meant that at least 60 cans were bought in under 12 hours?! And they said they didn’t have any more....??!!... Other than this issue...fabulous!

Small took a bit to navigate but decently marked just stuff up front was not where it normally was like Dairy cooler.

3 items on sale per grocery ad paper completely outvof stock at 2:30 pm on 3rd dsy of sale. Not happy.

I can usually find what I need at the Foote Ave location, and its a decent size. Employees have been helpful when I cant find something (not my normal TOPS location to shop). Checkout lines are often quite long, and produce is sometimes old. Note if youre new to this store - the entrance is closed after 8 pm so you have to use the exit to get in.

Younger staff act irritated if it isnt just straight up cashing out... for instance of you have coupons or raincheck, etc

I would probably shop there more, the parking lot is a headache.

People who work there seem to be perpetually upset with the world! No smiles nor any friendly help to the consumers. People there should take a course from the Wegmans staff on how to be friendly. Prices on a lot of stuff are doubled from than other stores.

Should update the self checkout machines. Theyre super slow.

This place needs someone to reorganize the whole store. Not user friendly at all. You have to pay for bags, so be sure to bring your own. Prices are not the cheapest. Walmart, Aldis & i was told Wegmans grocery stores were cheaper. Definetly better organized. The other Tops is better & the pharmacy staff is helpful too.

I went to Tops on Foote Avenue to get a few groceries for a Labor Day party tomorrow. I decided to get a fishfry while I was there. The young girl saw me, walked out back, saw me a second time and left the department. I asked the guy in the deli what to do and he pointed to the girl as she was walking back. I took a deep breath and waited around while she did something else. It wasnt busy, mind you, and actually I was the only customer standing there at all. So she finally reluctantly took my order and I went to pick up my other groceries. When I came back I saw her putting my fish and fries in a box and attach the price sticker. She then preceded to set it on a shelf back there and start putting whole cooked chickens in containers and put it out for display. Other than cold food, I waited, because I wanted to see what she would do. I know she saw me. Finally out of the blue she picks up my box and hands it to me. What a pain. Another customer saw me twice in the store and asked me how I made out, because she had dealt with that before. I couldnt believe how blatant she was about ignoring me. Unbelievable. I was going to ask for the manager, but being a Saturday I doubt there was one. And I just wanted to get home. I think her name was Stephanie. Hard to read her name tag running away from me all the time.

It was fairly busy for being after 10pm. Even though the lady over seeing the checkouts (all self-scan) was busy, she was polite and helpful. Id go there again.

Incredible customer service. A few days ago I went shopping here. I had a bad arm and it was difficult for me to lift things. The nice blonde man came and offered to help. He helped lift everything into the car, said hed take the cart and even made me laugh. Definitely made my day a lot better.

Needed ingredients for cookies, a quick stop, friendly cashier and happened to see someone I used to work with. Easy in and out of the store. Just what I expected.

Didnt have what I was looking for

This store is the worst, and management is rude. I have stopped shopping there many different times for many reasons, but always come back because it’s my neighborhood grocery store. Do not buy flowers there!! They will die in a day! ...I called to complain about the dead flowers and although offering a refund IF I HAD MY RECEIPT, management was very rude and OBVIOUSLY did not really care about my complaint.

Air conditioning too cold

Helpful and being from out of state, I didnt have a savings card. They graciously gave me the courtesy of using a store card to give me the discount. This rarely ever happens and it is the second time they have done this for me.

Tops is as good as any grocery store as far as Im concerned. There are three in my area and all are fairly large stores. On Washington st. You can get got a products and this store is the biggest in this area. All three stores have service desks that sell lotto and cash payroll checks.

Only one self check out matching open and it kept shutting down . The line is always10-15 people waiting and complaining. This is absurd.

Excellent employees + upbeat attitudes. Prices are moderately inflated. Selection of food items could be better... Produce is ALWAYS on its last leg. Fresher fruits + vegetables would greatly improve the stores monthly sales.

Great supermarket and reasonable prices w/the discount card. If you dont have one you can just ask cashier to scan one for you so you get all the sale prices. Clean and decent place

I dont have no problem shopping at tops I really like shopping at tops they got good workers there theyre nice and polite to you and then if you trying to find something you cant find that at least they have somebody that shows you where things are at their

Prices are high unless items are on sale. Not happy with the self checkout. Waited a good 5 minutes for attendent to try to get my coupon to be accepted. I ended up having to go to service desk to be reimbursed for my coupon. What a fiasco.

Close and convenient, this neighborhood grocery gets the job done. The prices arent as great as other local stores and the lines are long as there are only a few lanes open even at their busiest times. No self check out is a hindrance. Other local Tops locations have them.

This ones walking distance from my place so its a bonus to see happy employees ready to help you get things. They actually make you feel like family.

Redemption center needs alot of work

Absolute terrible company to work for. You will not get hours, the management (Especially Sue Badgley) are completely incompetent. If something breaks, dont expect it to be fixed within the month. Oh and raises? Dont get those yearly. Vacation? Good luck. Complaint about another employee? Wont go anywhere. Union benefits? Good luck half the time it seems the union isnt on your side. Oh and since Sherryl Posey is the union rep dont expect complaints about her family members who work at this store to go anywhere. This is the only job Ive ever had that I actually hate going in for. I wish them nothing but failure for the waste of my time.

Oh geez. Um... I dont do my weekly grocery shopping here or ide be homeless. They have some stuff here that you cant get anywhere else so thats why I go here. The rotisserie chicken is really good, donuts are great, pretzel rolls are awesome. Ice cream is amazing. The place isnt a flop.

Large selection, often understaffed in key departments. Pricing on par with other stores. Lots of locations in large population areas, but weak presence in rural or acquisition markets.

A good place to get good deals on your food

Its hard to justify a higher score. The store is generally clean and well stocked.... But... Prices are outrageous. Up to 3x as much as other stores. I can understand not being able to compete with Walmart or Wegmans, but they cant even compete with gas stations or convenance stores. Not sure where all the extra money is going but having fair prices for those that cant get to cheaper stores would be more friendly than ripping off those that have little money.

Prices too expensive for cold deli products!!! Even boiled eggs was 6 for 2.98, I can get at walmart for 1.98. Same with salad $6.00 I can get at Wal-Mart for $2.98. Wont shop here again. I will go elsewhere when I come in from out of state. No recommendations to my friends.
