This place will nickel and dime you to death to send something. Brought in a prepaid overnight package Saturday at 10 am. They said that it would cost me an extra $5 to make sure it went out on Saturday. Even though it was before the Saturday cutoff time for overnight. I paid them, and obtained a receipt. I went home Saturday and called UPS corporate. Turns out this fee is something the store owner made up, and is against UPS Franchise policy. I submitted the receipt and letter of explanation to UPS corporate as requested. I hope they fine this store for price gouging their customers. Do not use this location! Crooked, and obviously makes up their own charges! I reported them to UPS Corporate, BBB, and encourage others to do the same.
Brought a package to ship and wanted to insure it for $1,000. I was told if I want to insure my package for damage that I have to pay to have UPS pack my package... First off, what a scam, you know the value of the package, and if youre couriers are careful it shouldnt matter. I would think most people are looking to get their packages to destination without damage. But ok.. you charged me $30(!!! Rip off!!!) to repack my already perfectly packed package. Because of the value of the item, I wanted to watch your employees repackage my items and was told I would have to wait around because there are other customers. What an absolute joke. So now I have no idea whether the employees treated my items carefully, I have no way of verifying they dont steal the high value items, and I literally just paid you $30 to unpack and repack my item - so yeah, I want to see it done. Ive learned my lesson though, and will go to FedEx/USPS instead in the future.
I love this UPS store! So helpful and friendly both on the phone and in person. I have used their service multiple times. I just returned from shipping Christmas presents to my son. Long line moving quickly and nothing but friendly and good service from the staff. I appreciate their hard work and positive attitudes. Past shipments have arrived promptly and in good order and I have confidence this latest package will do the same. Thank you to the staff at this UPS Store.

Ordered some electronic equipment. Didn’t get a sign for package notification in my email for myUPS to sign for it. Called the store to pick it up. They said that it’s in a trailer outside and I am not able to pick it up then proceeded to talk down to me when I said electronics can get damaged sitting outside all weekend in freezing temps. Great operation you guys are running.

It depends on who is working if theyll take amazon returns that are in boxes or not. Some will try to charge you for a box others just take the return no problems. I dont think thats a very good way to run a business. Also depends whos working if they will accept my stitch fix returns. Theyve been taking them for months but today wouldnt take it. They make their customers feel like they are the ones in the wrong. We are not, I understand having policies but everyone should be on the same page. Its not fare to the customers who likeme drive 45 mins to make a return to find out that they wont accept it today but have for the last 5 years with no problems. I talked to an old man who was the owner or manager not sure white hair and bald. He was extremely rude and laughed at me while he was talking to me about their policies and said nothing has changed in the last 20 years. Sorry Mr. But your wrong your way wrong. Ive done tons of amazon returns without boxes for the last 6 years at this location. How dare him laugh in my face. Made me feel very uncomfortable. I was not in the wrong, although he had made me feel that way. Very poor customer service. I felt embarrassed when I left because he made me feel like I was in the wrong while a whole line of people were watching. Hes lucky I am nice and didnt start a scene. He needs to make sure his employees are all doing the same thing so us customers are not confused on why things are different today. Rude and unprofessional.
I live and work overseas. So I often need to not only ship material to and from Janesville, but also documents for visa applications, etc. These guys are rock stars! They are always friendly and helpful and theyve never let me down! All the best to the wonderful people at the UPS store!

Everyone at this store is super nice and polite, I just rent a mailbox here and they always drop what theyre doing to help me out immediately and recognize me. They also have shipping boxes in stock, lots of different sizes. No complaints, keep up the good work.

I was running late from work and needed a package to go out today and called and the guy working was willing to stay open a tad later and wait for me to get there to scan my package. Extremely friendly! Dont find many places willing to do this! I would highly recommend coming here!

Went in to have documents printed of a very large amount. A younger gentleman (who was kind) and an elderly man came out to help. I don’t have a concept of length of time it takes to print something that large given the variabilities in a commercial store. I asked if it’s something that could be printed at a specific time. The old man laughed out loud and said, “that’s an hour!” I was so dumbfounded by his laughter that I said thanks and walked out. I could hear him talking and still laughing as I was leaving. Clearly he has poor customer service skills to laugh at a customer who was going to pay a big chunk of money. He could have been kind and just said no. I won’t be going back and won’t encourage other to go either. Being laughed at, no matter what he meant by it, is rude at best.

To say that this store has a knowledgeable staff would be a complete falsehood.Had two packages for shipment, was assured they would arrive together and they did not.The store owner then goes on.to argue and tell me its my fault that they printed up the labels and one smudged.Add to the fact that they accept no responsibility at all and blame UPS, do not follow through on customer service or call backs and give an attitude to anyone who has any issues and you have the Janesville Store.Will never do business here again and strongly suggest that anyone needing to.ship anything takes it directly to the shipper.Beware
EDIT - Got a response from the owner that explained why they are only open until 6pm. Increasing my review from 3 to 4 stars as it is out of their hands.Closed at 6pm on a weekday is incredibly inconvenient.The staff is solid and typically friendly other than that.

I shipped multiple packages from this place never had an issue the pricing seems fair for the size of packaging I usually ship.
Sat there for 10 min while the Lady was chatting with some guy. Not a hello, not a will be with u soon. Nothing. Just ignored and when I finally said forget this she still never said a word as I walked out. I do thousands every month with madisons location. Guess I will keep my business there. Very disappointed to say the least. Vista print may be seeing my business in janesville.
The woman that is the manager or the owner of the place is a rude snot. When you walk in she gives you a Nasty look and treat you like you are beneath her I would not recommend the store to anybody I would never use the store to ship my packages.

I had a package delayed 6 times and by 10 days. When I called they said the package was on its way despite tracking saying it had been received over a week ago from when I called.
The woman that helped us was extremely rude. We were signing closing papers that she had to notarize and she told us to hurry up! Like we were wasting her time. VERY RUDE SERVICE! Wont be going there again.
