At almost 300K miles on our Dodge Dakota, the engine let go with a bang. They ordered a replacement engine and installed it. Along the way, they kept me informed of the progress and other items that needed to be addressed. The problems were real (at 300K) and did need to be fixed. In the end, the truck runs great again. I inspected the work closely and found everything correct, they did a great job! It was a gamble to replace an engine at 300K, but its paid off.

My F350 with 7.3L needed quite a few maintenance items taken care of, plus a general inspection of the engine. They repaired my transmission dip stick tube and changed the transmission oil, repaired the emergency brakes and added a buzzer as requested. Also they, found an oil leak in the valve cover gaskets and replaced the gaskets (i had thought the oil was coming from my engine transmission main seal). Also, oil and radiator fluid change. Great communication from the GM, Alan, who called as issues were found and gave me the cost estimates to repair. Also, they did all the work in the two week time period I requested. The reairs were not a cheap in cost, BUT they were honest and the work was very well done.

I live in Denver and need an RV repair while in town. The first place I went blew me off and sent me to Donnie Braun & Sons.They did what I needed and were nice about it.

Had a storage unit at Braun and sons. They were always very courteous and willing to help. Even more so just after a tornado took out their shop and our storage unit. They are honorable and Id be more than happy to have a unit with them again after they rebuild.

We know when we send our vehicles here that we will be getting good and honest service! We dont even consider taking them anywhere else.

I have always had great service from donnie braun and sons auto repair. Everything from a tune up to major rear axle repair. Was really sad when the may 22 tornado destroyed the shop. Just found out that they have opened a temporary shop, I need to find out where they are located.

I first thought that i was getting a great service when i needed my engine block replaced. but 5 months later when my cam shaft broke i took it to a different repair shop and found out that they scammed me from some parts. now i need to get another engine block because of them.

These folks are about as honest and straight shooting as it gets. My entire family trusts them, and they have kept us on the road for years.

In a family of six we have owned a lot of vehicles over the years, all shapes and sizes. Braun Auto has always provided outstanding customer service, expert technicians, and extremely fair rates. New or used, Braun Auto Repair is the ONLY service center that takes care of our vehicles. Period.

Teenage daughters car was towed there by AAA, they made every attempt to take advantage of what they thought was a young girl who didnt know any better and wrote an estimate of nearly $2000.00 when all she needed was a $90.00 new tire...not a $600 fuel pump for a 20 year old car, not a new front end, not even close...and she certainly wasnt expecting them to offer to buy her car for $350 to save her the trouble of fixing it...Of course the owner was all to happy to explain to me that he only does the best quality of work using the top-of-the-line parts and if I didnt want that quality of service I could take the vehicle somewhere else...after I paid him $100 for looking the car over.

My suspicions have been confirmed. My son’s truck was towed to Braun’s for a repair back in 2014. They told me that the high cost of the needed repairs couldn’t be justified (because of the age and wear of the vehicle) and that it wasn’t worth fixing. They said that they had a contact that bought vehicles like this and they could save me the trouble and expense of getting it repaired. Their contact was a local scrap yard. Braun called me with me with the scrap yard’s offer and told me they would pay $400 for the truck. (The tires were fairly new and worth most of that). Rather than have it towed to another mechanic, I succumbed to their suggestion that it was ready for the scrap pile. I was suspect of Braun’s middleman involvement and went directly to the scrap yard for payment (to help assure me that it was indeed going to be scrapped). I received a bombshell today…three years after my son’s repair-unworthy truck was sold for “scrap”. The truck is still in commission and sitting in a parking lot at a resort in Camden County. I was a fool. Don’t take your vehicle here.
