I just bought a very nice, used Honda Ridgeline from there. My salesman, Roger and the finance guy, Michael were super nice guys. They were polite and very knowledgeable about their product. I drove 4.5 hours for the Ridgeline, aka the unicorn . Although buying a car is never really fun they made it as painless as possible. Also the other staff members seemed to be genuinely really nice people. Well done Honda of Jefferson City.
Not a bad place, they help you to get a vehicle no matter your credit score. The only negative is every time I have purchased a vehicle... things havent been the most expedient.
I bought a car here last May. Couldnt talk to the mechanic that checked out the car cuz he got fired. Left with the vehicle plenty happy, but got a call a month later about the paperwork was messed up and I had to come back to do it all again cuz the finance guy I worked with got fired. A whole year later now turns out they messed up my title and I cant renew my registration and thus cant work and it seems noone is willing to help.

I called them over a period of 5 or 6 days asking for interior pictures of a vehicle they had listed and was told each day by either Ruth, Rich, or Phillip that the vehicle was still available and that they would send pictures to me that day but I would never hear back. I was complaining to my family when we called one more time only to find that they had sold it that day. The only thing I can think of is they didn’t want me looking elsewhere in case the person looking at it at the time flaked out.If you call them expecting a call back and hear nothing from them you may as well look at another dealership. These guys will waste your time. I don’t care if they end up getting a car in stock that I’m looking for, they aren’t worth the time and migraine.

Worst car buying experience ever! Highly recommend going anywhere but here. From the salesman Rich to finance all bad. First lied to about several things on the car like it has been detailed, has new tires and has cooled seats. Which all are false. Then in the negotiating process we agree on the price of the car and will get the following done to it a detail, full tank of gas and Weather Tec Floor mats through the vehicle. Go into Finance department and they try to sell the extended warranty which I wasnt going to buy anyways. Keep getting told payments will be $380 a month and he would never tell me how much this whole warranty is going to cost as a package. Since he wouldnt tell me I simply asked what will my payments be without the warranty plan. I get told $330, so in my head I do the math and go no way am I getting that expensive warranty. Finally he got the point that we just want to finance the agreed price of the car. Payments end up being $280 so he lied trying to make the warranty half the cost and I will save all that are reading this the math. $6,000 for warranty plan on a $17,000 vehicle. Are you crazy.... Needless to say we leave and take the car we are trading in so they can do the detail and fill it up. Sign papers saying we are doing a test drive in it as this point they own our old car. The wife goes back to pick up the car and has a blown out tire right across the highway from the place. Puts on the spare and drives it in. They see the spare on it and make her pay $60 for them to put a used tire on the car that they made someone else pay a disposal fee on. After an hour dealing with them she finally got to get in the new ride with our two kids. Moves over the car seats and gets in the car and they didnt even detail it nor fill it up. She argues with them on that and they just take advantage of her for being a woman and tell her its out of our control. They can only put so much money in the fuel. Had a 1/4 tank when we looked at the car and when she picked it up they filled it to 1/2 tank. Also try telling her that they did detail it even though it is the exact same as last time we saw it. The floor mats havent made it in yet at this time which was no big deal as I get to pick them up still. Guessing they wont even be Weather Tec or the front and back. More to come once I get the mats and I get the pictures from the wife to share on how it was not detail at all. Moral of this whole post is if I can save one person from having the same experience I did, this post was worth the time of writing.

Will never go there again. I went there got a $9000 vehicle put $6000 down on it although they tried to talk me in to only putting half down but I kept trying to tell them I’m trying to pay off the vehicle fast but they were not trying to listen. I told them I did not want warranty but they would not let me leave without one I felt like I was being held hostage but I was desperate for vehicle & now I have balance of $9000 left to pay. I would suggest going some place were they listen & give you exactly what you want. They also told me electronics were included in warranty but it wasn’t I had to pay $300 for back up camera 1 week after getting vehicle😡
I’ve been buying Honda vehicles for years. I also own other brands and I like each one for different reasons. With that said, this particular dealership has been my favorite to-date. Yesterday was the third time I’ve bought a Honda in Jefferson City. My first two were when it was at the previous location. This location is HUGE compared to the other. There was a great variety of vehicles to look at. I did my research before coming in and knew what I wanted otherwise it might have been a tough decision.Cedric saw my husband and I walking across the lot with our 4-year old and held the door so we could get in out of the nasty weather. His calm yet friendly demeanor was a great start to our visit here. After a few moments of telling Cedric our purpose there, he didn’t immediately start pestering us for more info. He allowed us to get refreshments, use the restroom, etc. at no point did I feel rushed to start “talking cars”. My son immediately grabbed a bag of fresh popcorn and a bottle of water (all complimentary wether you’re buying or getting service done). It was nice to have treats to keep my son occupied once we sat and started talking with Cedric.The process was painless and much more enjoyable than any other car-buying experience I’ve ever had. They gave me exactly what I wanted for my trade in, they put my financing exactly where I wanted it, and I never felt like I had to go back and forth with them to get to the right numbers (like I often have in the past).The whole time, Cedric wasn’t just talking “at” us and would even stop to talk to our little guy and see if he could get him anything. I appreciated Cedric more than he probably knew while we were there.Once we got into the finance room, I was just as impressed with Mrs. Streator. She talked us through finance without rushing or confusing us. Again, my son wasn’t ignored but instead she would pause occasionally to check on him and see how he’s doing.We left the dealership with a brand new Honda Accord Hybrid. Sometimes leaving the dealership there’s a bit of buyers remorse not knowing if you got a good deal or made the right decision. Yesterday at Jefferson City Honda, I can say with confidence that I made the right decision and and genuinely happy about it.Thank you for a fantastic buying experience.

Overall a good car buying experience. My salesman, Rich, did a great job and got a good idea of what I was looking for and matched me with a vehicle Im very happy with. Price was good, and service was great. The only reason Im not giving a 5 is they really will slip the extended warranty under your nose. First it sounded like a 3 yr warranty included in price, but then you are paying for it, then at signing it had kind of morphed into a more expensive 5 yr warranty. So beware on that! But Im quite happy with car and the help I got from Rich to select car.
The best car-buying experience Ive ever had! Ask for Micah or Wes. Really laid back and zero pressure. We haggled over the price very calmly and politely and they were super reasonable. No funny business. Micah went above and beyond to answer all my questions and showed a ton of hussle. He even went to all the trouble of tracking down my garage door opener I left in my trade-in vehicle and mailed it back to me. I live over two hours away and I would definitely come back again.

We stopped by and had the most intuitive help in buying a used car with some specific needs and a demanding price point, from a salesman named Jaren Larue. Jaren was fantastic, and came recommended from multiple people. The car we initially settled on, and had initially come for, had been sold, but Jaren stayed with us, sending updates on inventory and showing a great level of sellers intuition. He didnt show us cars we werent interested in, and stayed on task until we got the right choice. Jaren eventually (quickly) got us an extremely good deal on a great car.TL;DR- Jaren Larue is great, go here!

Never in my life have I ever been treated like this from a dealership, they CARE. They went way, way beyond what was expected of them to help me get the car of my dreams. Ive never seen dedication to a customer like this. Back in the early 90s I was trained to sell cars and I lost that job because I was honest and wouldnt lie. I walked in fully aware of all the tricks. I kept my experience to myself and waited for the game to start. I was disappointed, there was no game...not one. I had watched videos on things not to say, do or sign. I was ready but none of it was needed. I was treated with dignity, respect and honesty. You dont believe a dealership can be honest...go here and find out for yourself. Do I work for them...no, Im just a grumpy, expected to get ripped off, no nonsense kind of guy. I dont give hugs, and I dont tear up, but I did with them. The people that made my dream come true are... AJ Giblin, GM. Bella Buechter, Sales and Michael Keller, Finance. I cant praise them enough.

I will give them a 4* customer service is better now, the waiting time was long, otherwise everything else was good. Clean place, they have, bottle of water, coffee, popcorn and ice cream to keep you snacking during the waiting time, they also have kids play station. In general I will say that they got better for sure.

Drove over 3 hours round trip for a scheduled meeting with a Honda rep that didnt show because they changed their schedule but we were never notified. Meeting was in regards to a paint issue, along with some spotting I wanted to talk with the rep about. So all in all I spent the day driving to really accomplish diddly squat.
Attempted to purchase a car. Was supposed to receive a phone call on Saturday on the loan status. Never received anything. Called them Monday and spoke to the salesman. Was told hed call me right back. Never did. At least let someone know they didnt get the car loan instead of ignoring them and never calling them back.

If I could give this dealership negative stars I would. I’ve been waiting 15 days in counting for my vehicle. The finance department is a complete joke, I was even told that the delay was because they do so 1,000 cars a month and it takes time to do the paperwork. Mind you I was already pre approved, all they had to do is fax their information to my bank and couldn’t even do that. In the middle of the transaction the guy working my loan went on vacation!!!!. I wasn’t notified of any progress on my file, I’ve had to call the dealership over 20 times and most of the time being put on hold for a continues ring with no answer. Thank god for Rich!! If it wasn’t for him, I’m not sure if I would even get the car at all. By the way I’m still waiting!!! I’ve don’t everything I was suppose to do and I haven’t been compensated one bit for my time and effort. I had to rent a car in between waiting for the car I purchased and now I have to pay more for it to be delivered to me because of the finance team incompentence. I WILL NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN AND I PLAN ON WRITING THIS REVIEW ANYWHERE I SEE THIS DEALERSHIP NAME.

Ended up not purchasing a car here. Did communications through email (considering what is going on), and during this explained that’s I would lie my communications through email, including negotiations. Every dealership has been every helpful with negotiating but I get like Cailin just gave me canned auto generated responses and did not try at all to win over my business. Especially considering there were multiple Volkswagens (they had a used Jetta) in a 30 mile radius that were priced the same or better than the one at this dealer. I even explained that and was met with a canned response. Our family ended up getting a used Passat from a Joe Machens Hyundai and they were a pleasure to deal with. If you’re looking at this dealer and wanting to do things virtually, expect NO negotiations done at all.
Bought a car there. Engine light came on 3 days later. After six phone calls finally got to talk to a live person who told me to use my extended warranty. Called back to talk with to the supervisor but never received a call back, nor a call from the guy who sold me the car who knew there was a problem. Finally went there and they worked on my car and refunded money spent to fix it
Was assured that the car I was buying had no history of damage and was given a car fax as proof, however, once I payed to purchase my own car fax on the car I had bought the car fax report showed that damage had indeed been reported. I do not want to get into any name calling or anything but buyers beware of this dealership. Thank you.
Probably the best vehicle purchasing experience Ive ever had. The team was responsive and very professional. There wasnt any high pressure sales tactics which was appreciated. The only criticism I would add and its a minor one is dealing with multiple people at the dealership without a proper hand off being communicated.
Edit: Dealer never sent a car title to me or my lender. After a lengthy time spent trying to contact the dealer, the manager, and/or any support staff I can confirm that customer service is not in this dealers wheelhouse. Ill be submitting a formal/thoroughly documented review to the better business bureau.
Overall it was a nice experience considering its my first car purchase. Kurt and Ruth were very welcoming and helpful (at the store and online). Highly recommended. I ended up buying the extended warranty; however Jacob Warren did work out some discounts since I had a budgeted monthly payment to abide to.
This was first time for me visiting this dealership. I went there for a recall on passenger side air bag on my Accord. Kent Hager was my Service Advisor. He was very professional and knowledgeable and took care of everything! The waiting area was very nice, too. I would definitely go back to this dealership again!
I put in a true car request and this was one of two dealerships that responded. The other dealership was difficult to work with despite being closer and having a lower price initially. Home of Jefferson City really stepped up. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and helpful. They found the car I wanted at a decent price. I dealt with numerous people there and there wasnt a bad one in the bunch!
As expected of a dealership, you pay a premium. BUT, they allowed me to bring my own parts AND they didnt try to sell me on any recommended maintenance that some shops try to tack onto your bill. They were very understanding and negotiable, and I truly felt like I was talking to a friend when I explained my car issues. I didnt feel like they were dumbing it down for me at all.
First I was sold a vehicle without a title. Once I went to register my vehicle at the DMV I realized i was never given a title. Called the dealership, they knew they didnt have a signed title but no one bothered to contact me. After the 30 days was up, I could no longer drive my car. They tried to mail me a dealer plate and told me to drive around on that. No thank you..thats still illegal because its not a dealer car and I would still get a ticket for not having a registered vehicle. Called and called and called until finally talked to someone after many dodged calls and got me a loaner car. The manager told me he would be in contact with me but never once followed up. I even tried calling and asking for him. Got sent to his voicemail or put on hold then someone would take my info and would never get a call back. Drove the loaner for nearly 3 weeks. Finally received a title. Then after trying to get a hold of anyone to come get the loaner car for 2 straight days (shouldnt be my job to drive an hour to return it when it was their mess up) finally talk to someone who passes my info off to someone else who never calls me back. No one returns phone calls and everyone send you to voicemails. Worst experience ever. Worst customer service Ive ever received and would highly recommend not going here.
The service at Jefferson City Honda was exceptional. Following extensive online comparison, I decided to make the drive (4+ Hours) to Jefferson City Honda to purchase a used Chevy Silverado 1500. The sales team happily answered all of my questions over the phone and had the vehicle ready to go when we arrived. There were NO surprises. Also, Tracy was great with my kids while we waited for financing paperwork to be drawn up and he did an incredible job cleaning up the truck while he waited for us to arrive. Thanks a lot guys!

Just purchased our second vehicle from Corwin Honda a few days ago. I can say that the service and sale was second to none. Prior to Corwin taking over this dealership, if we were in the market for a Honda or Nissan we took our business out of town. Things have changed for sure. Corwin and our salesman Nicholas Khan have earned our business for any new purchases in the future. Nicholas made the sales process a no hassle, up front deal. He gave us a fair offer up front, explained all the details of the car, and ended up selling us a different car than we had originally went to buy (one that saved us a lot of money which goes to show customer satisfaction not bottom dollar was his top priority.) He changed our plates in the pouring down rain (all with a smile), and even came in on his day off to follow up to see how things were going with the new car. Ty in the business office was also so easy to work with. Again, no nonsense easy car purchase. We have purchased a lot of cars and this was by far one of the easiest and we will be visiting them again I am sure in the near future and hope to be able to work with Nicholas and Ty. My wife and I recently purchased a used 2011 Honda Odyssey from Corwin Honda in Jefferson City. My first visit was just to inquire about their inventory and what our options would be for financing or leasing a new vehicle. When I arrived I was greeted by a sales associate named Jen Serfass who was very polite and eager to assist. She was not overly pushy or insistent like sales associates that I have dealt with in the past and she genuinely wanted to help make sure our purchasing decision was the best for our family. She helped me to consider whether a new or used vehicle would work the best within our budget, and when I left she even offered some good advice on how to secure the best interest rate from competing local banks. My wife and I spent some time comparing different models from almost every dealership in the state, and Jen followed up with me daily to discuss the vehicles that we were interested in. When I returned to the dealership a couple days later, the vehicle that I wanted to test drive was waiting for me, and since Jen was dealing with another customer a different sales associate went along with me on the test drive. He was also very professional and the experience felt more like taking a ride with a fellow acquaintance rather than someone who was trying to put my money in their pocket. When I returned from the test drive Jen was standing by to assist. Since my wife was not with me she allowed me to take the vehicle home so that she could be involved first hand in the decision to purchase. When I returned, Jen asked me what amount I felt comfortable financing, what payments I wanted to make, and what interest rate I thought I may qualify for. We came to a fair deal on my trade in, they met the interest rate that I wanted, and we came to an agreement on financing that kept my payments where I felt comfortable. I finalized the paperwork with a manager named Vic who explained all the details thoroughly, and I drove away satisfied with the purchase and the experience. I would recommend Corwin Honda and their staff to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle.
Until now, my process for buying a new car was to go to at least three dealers and haggle, get up to walk out the door, then wait for them to speak to their manager...etc.This time I decided to try something different. Towards late Sept 2019 I decided I wanted a Honda CRV. I wrote the same email to at least six dealers, basically saying it is end of month, end of quarter and end of car year. Give your best price.Most dealers seem unable to really do this. If you do not go through the above process, they will not give you a really good deal.Honda of Jefferson City gave me a price via email, below my number.For no haggling, that was a great price for me.They delivered the car to me in KC area for no charge.All my questions pre and post delivery were promptly answered.So much easier than the old way.

A visit for a state inspection for a private-vehicle purchase was an impressive showing of the level of service and capabilities that Honda of Jefferson City can provide. A free review of the condition of the vehicle showed that there were a few needed fluid services, ones that I typically would do myself. But this shop has some capabilities that are rare to me, and will be having some work done by them. The service advisor was very good at answering my questions about the brake system, steering and transmission. Great facility, and great inventory to browse!

This rating is for the parts department. I drove an hour 1 way to pick up a part, got it back and found out they gave me the wrong part. When we called them, their only reply: Oh, sorry. When I got back to exchange for the correct part, I was told they didnt have the right part in stock (we had called to confirm that they had it). They eventually found the part, but the whole ordeal was ridiculous! The guy I dealt with was nice enough, but maybe hes better suited for a job at McDonalds or something where product knowledge isnt so important. I wasted 2 hours today, plus all that gas.
Kurt Lofton was my sales rep and did an amazing job! This was the easiest car shopping experience Ive ever had. He was knowledgeable and pleasant to be around. He even showed me a car at Nissan because my previous vehicles were Nissan. But I left with a new Honda! He worked with me to get it at a lower price and explaining new features of the vehicle. Got a great deal, but my wife feels like they slipped a $2,600 extended warranty in at closing even though she said she didnt want one. Luckily MO law gives you 30 days to get a full refund and you can get a prorated refund after that. HIGHLY recommend calling Columbia Honda to see if you can pit the two dealerships against each other and see who will give you the lowest price.
We bought a used Pilot here last fall. We happened to be there the day they got it, and we drove it before it had been cleaned up or serviced. The service department did a lot to it before we picked it up.We brought it in for an oil change and were treated like we had been buying new cars from there every year. They really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome.It would have been the most I had ever spent on an oil change, but then they told us our first oil change was free. It was such a great experience that we will pay a little more to have it serviced here.
We had a lovely experience with Honda of Jeff City. Cassity and Kayla were amazing to work with. We didnt even have to leave the house! Cassity managed everything from our trade-ins being picked up and new cars delivered. When an issue did arise with some trouble getting KS tags, Cassity remained helpful and on top of things and her and Kayla figured things out quickly. We would highly recommend Honda of Jeff City to ANYONE - even if you dont live in the area. We are in Overland Park, KS and will work with them again next time.

What started out as simply a free replacement of the passenger side airbag due to a recall, began with a thorough inspection of the vehicle, which turned up a couple of dirty filters, as well as a tired battery. The service tech, Kent Hager, showed me vehicle fluid samples (brake, transmission, etc) and explained that they were okay for now. I was shown the dirty filters and the result of the battery tests, with the recommendation that they be replaced. A complimentary car wash and detailing was also part of the service, as well as a detailed, printed summary of the work performed on the vehicle.While in the customer lounge waiting for the work to be done on my vehicle, I observed the service techs sitting down with other customers, explaining what was being done to their vehicles, recommending other repairs or adjustments, and giving the customers an estimate of how long it was going to take.Well done, guys.

Many people have told me to avoid taking my car to a dealership because they charge more, but after learning my lesson at a cheaper mechanic, I took my Honda Civic here to be worked on. I dont feel that I paid more here than I would have anywhere else, and they even replaced a part for free because it had been recalled by Honda. They also adjusted my hood latch free of charge as well. I was treated like I mattered and they had my car done the same day. They called me discuss the repairs and costs before proceeding with anything. The actual bill ended up being less than the original quote, even though they did extra work. I feel confident driving my car now and would recommend them to anyone who needs work done.
Buying a car at Jefferson City Honda was the best experience with buying a car that I have ever had. I bought my daughter a new CRV in 2018 and my wife liked it so well that we bought her a CRV in 2019. I live 2 hours away from Jefferson City in the Springfield, MO area. There are 3 other Honda dealerships closer to me than Jefferson City but Jefferson City Honda gave me a better deal than all of the closer dealerships. I saved around $500 per vehicle by going to Jefferson City. My Salesman was Eddie Brown both times. Eddie is the best and most courteous salesman you will ever meet. Eddie took the time to make me comfortable with my purchase and he is just a great guy to work with. It was well worth the 2 hour drive to go to Jefferson City.
