We broke a couple spokes on the Katy Trail and rolled in at 4:45, right before closing. Don stayed until 7 fixing them, and the price was very reasonable. Its an old shop and as such, has a lot of oddball old parts on hand for random repairs. Highly recommended for repairs!

Bought a brand new bike online, got it shipped and built here. Came in for pickup, the guy there was super chill and helpful, we talked a lot about his riding and the cool spots to hit around. First day back with the bike, took it over some bumps and the handlebars slipped, and ended up with the ends of the bars in line with the tire. They had forgotten to tighten the pinch bolts between the bars and the top of the fork, leaving me with a massively unsafe ride and a crash I was lucky to just walk away from. Super nice guys, but totally unacceptable that youd just forget to tighten the handlebars.

Really nice folks both times I went in, good pricing for repairs, and prompt service. Im giving 4 stars because the cause of the second repair should have been caught during the first repair, as they both related to the cassette. Everything else from the first repair works fine.

I have used this shop (much more than a store) to keep a 30+ yr old Trek 800 on the road, and both Steve and Don are top notch in service know-how and workmanship. You get the sense as you enter that J&D is everyones bike shop.
