I have been going here for years with no notable issues beyond buying overpriced snacks to see later it’s past its “best by” date, the occasional disorder on the shelves, understaffed chaos, and random pumps having intermittent payment issues. All of this is sort of to be expected at some point or another at a gas station and especially with the amount of trips I make to this gas station in particular every week (3 or 4).On recent trips here, Kathy has provided horrible customer service with a disgusting mood every time. She’s terribly rude, offensive, and even said she tells customers frequently to “go somewhere else if they show an attitude”. If a customer has an ‘attitude’, it was a result of Kathy’s unnecessary comments to begin with. I imagine turning prospective customers away based on one person’s poor perception not being ultimately good for business. When questioned why she treats people this way, she boasted, “I haven’t been written up yet.” Wake up, Kathy! You can do better.

It seems like they only hire crotchety women. Customer service is sub par.

Went in yesterday to buy my mom a carton and two waters and my total was $81 and some change. Tell me why the bank statement said $91? Makes me wonder why they never ask me if i’d like a receipt/give me a receipt. No wonder my mom gave me such push back going to this location.

Just visited this store yesterday evening. The store has signs stating masks are required. I watched five people (two different pairs of men and a single man all walk into this store without masks and purchase goods. None were refused service. I support stores that protect public health and safety. We will not be coming back!

Shut down gas pump while you put gas in car. Paying from credit card.

Wonderful family owned business. Stores are always clean and I know I can always trust this brand.

All J an H stores are the worst. Do not expect any customer service because you will be disappointed. Haha even when you expect poor treatment of customers they will find a new low. Plus its annoying how they make you give your license for beer when I am not close to being underage. They are in business for money only and care not a whit for who is keeping their doors open. I will never set foot in one of their stores. I hope they close.

Of all the J&H locations this one is most poorly stocked and by fire at the dirtiest. Shelves are empty and unorganized, trash cans at pump are full and dirty. What a shame because this is one in my neighborhood

Slightly or of the way, but helpful for people in this party of Jenison. Clean and friendly.
