From the time I walked in until the time I walked out I had THE BEST experience. Summer was EVERYTHING! I purchased every product that she showed me. Me being a first time makeup user she taught me how to use everything and even took time out to write it all out for me. Summer is very knowledgeable, friendly, outgoing and has an amazing personality. All staff is amazing as well as the prices in the store. Summer is a MUST SEE! :)

Favorite makeup ever

First makeup store that made me feel so welcoming!! A girl named Maria was beyond helpful, she explained and showed me different products, she was so patient. I was surprised when she told me she was the assistant Manager!!! She encouraged me to come back to swatch and play with the products.

Attended a birthday party for my friends 13 year old daughter in a private room in the back. The girls had a blast getting their makeup done and touring the store. The staff was lovely and knowledgeable. Cant wait to dig into my goodie bag!

Walked in, asked the first employee I saw if she could help me color match because I forgot my number. Before she could even try to help me she said “if it doesn’t match you can return it” and walked away..... literally your job is to help me. Thankfully as she walked away I came across another employee whom was awesome. The manager was also very kind and expressed her apology for said employee. Anyways, they were dope, I’ve been there before and the people who help you are awesome.

Summer was a blessing! She helped me so much and got me prepared for my vacation. She went above and beyond suggesting things I didn’t know I ne eee until she tested it out on me. Super instructive on how to use the products and brushes and never failed to introduce accessory makeup. She is the best!

So today I had an awful experience at this store! I wanted to get the new Jeffree Star palette but they didn’t have it, so I settled with a basic generic morphe palette. I also got foundation and concealer. As I got home excitedly and opened my bag, I decided to play around after a longgggggg day of work at stripping. Then as soon as I put the foundation on it started BURNING! 😡 I didn’t know what to do, I assumed it was my skin reacting to new foundation. After I put on the concealer, it started to BURN MORE! I can’t explain it, it felt like my face was dipped in lava. Then I applied eyeshadow, I went to a family event. As I took it off that night I had a rash everywhere and woke up with pink eye! DISGUSTING!

Come on! Its a cosmetics store. Theyd have to TRY to be terrible. I even thought it was fun trolling that they opened up right across from Sephora. Id never actually heard of this store before, but Im glad they opened up here. HOnestly, when I go the atmosphere in the store makes me question if they are trying to provide good customer service or if they are watching me. Honestly it creeps me out. However, they always end up being friendly and helpful.

The security guard was the friendliest person in there. I felt like I was eyeballed up and down and then based on that they didn’t care to speak to me. When I was ready to check out the cashiers ignored me for a couple minutes and then very casually started to ring me up. There was a customer complaining about a return at another register and the associate just stared at that situation the whole time. He barely looked at me - didn’t speak to me and just handed me the bag. Really disappointing as the Sephora sucks and I was hoping for a really great makeup store to visit instead.

This review is specific to MARIA 👏👏! She was the ONLY MORPHE EMPLOYEE at the Newport Mall store that went ABOVE & BEYOND to help me! If she’s not the Manager yet, she should be!!!! I can’t thank you enough! Oh, what one has to go through for that perfect lipliner. Thanks MARIA!!

Finally! Morphe lands in Jersey City! I paid my first visit on a weekday afternoon and it was soooooo pleasant! Every assistant was super nice and helpful! Will visit all the time!!!!!
