Slow service, overpriced when compared to other locations but then you have employees like Ardean I think thats her name, the kind that make you feel like they know you. Service like that is worth the extra change.

Very small compared to other grocery stores. Their prices were a bit high. I notice that during this mask mandate several people were approached by a young man and was told to leave if they dont have a mask. But another man walked in not wearing a mask but did have a gun in a holster. He was allowed to stay in and shop. If youre going to enforce the mask mandate it should apply to everyone, even ones carrying a gun. Im not saying that I am for these mask mandates but you shouldnt be selective or intimidated because someone decides to carry a gun.

Decent grocery store. They carry a pretty wide variety of items. Prices are decent on most things, others a tad bit expensive. Its a clean store and I love that they have self check-outs now

Really like this GE. Always nice an clean, employees are helpful for the most part and theres even a restroom LOL prices are a bit high otherwise id rate them 5 stars. But, overall in my opinion a nice Giant Eagle to shop.

Good location for the area, Bus stop right out front if needed. Friendly staff always with a smile on their faces (from what u can tell with masks anymore hahaha) and quick service.

I was surprised at this store. It has lots of things other stores dont have. The produce is fresh and reasonable. The frozen food section is enormous. You will find things that are high priced like many stores but the savings is well worth the visit. I will go back. I had fun in there.Ive been going to this store for over 6 months now. You can imagine my surprise when I went to check out and they asked me if I wanted a gas or food credit. I happily went home $29.00 richer because I had been using their giant eagle card. It nót only gets you discounts but accumulates points to save you money. I love this store. Btw.... Bathrooms are available

I dont like the store set up . Also the store prices are expensive. However the workers are nice and its nice to safe on gas.

This is by far the dirtiest and most cluttered giant eagle in the area. With two more close by youd be better off trying a different one. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Had a argument with a cashier. Halloween candy was discounted 50% off. The candy, originally 2.99 was 2.00. & he was serious. To make it worse, the manager agreed i was wrong.

I went in for some veggies and milk, u went there because it is better quality then save a lot, however the cherry tomatoes were moldy and lettuce was brown all the pre cut fruit was expiring and it was in a lot of liquid, then the check out I was the second person my so moved to another lane he was also the second it took 10 minute to check out both different lanes the worst experience ever I will never go back if there was no stars that what I would of gave

15909 Why not give ALLshoppers the sale prices instead of carrying a card? Unless you buy TONS of groceries, the HIGH prices outweigh the fuel perks. Older people without computers miss out on the free online stuff too. Employees are not the most kindest or helpful either. No more Giant Eagle for this lady and ALOT of my friends!😞

I love the cleanliness and diversity of product that came with the store going corporate; The prices,(except for some sales) not so much. Especially the produce prices. I understand that with the flooding and other issues farmers have had this year, prices will rise, but this location has always been a bit pricey. The staff Ive dealt with are personable, efficient, and helpful. The guy that runs the meats section is always helpful; even calls to my attention when they have specials that are location specific. Its a shame that they sometimes struggle with the amount of available cashiers though; sometimes the lines can get a bit long, with only 1 to (on a good day) 3 lines open.TLDR: 4 stars due to prices & checkout wait times.

This was without a doubt the WORST Giant Eagle grocery store I have ever been to. It was small, with a limited selection. No bakery, no Sarris chocolates and very limited selection of groceries in general. Do yourself a favor and leave this location ASAP. There is another Giant Eagle that is much nicer about 10 miles away.

Always busy here. Sometimes a bit congested around the checkouts. Nice flat parking lot with a few handicapped parking places.

If no stars was a option I would choose that they are too pricey and they have horrible customer service reps with disgusting attitudes very few are nice is a no go for me👎

I had to shop with no cart! I bought an angel food cake from there an it had a hair in it!

Came to pick up a few things and saw a good sale and picked it up. Cashier was like it’s ringing up wrong, so I went to the isle to take a picture and upon my return I over heard her say getting on my f. Nerves and she turned to me and said oh I have to go and look myself. Mind you there is a line this time of day. Now I’ll post the picture if I can and I don’t think I’m crazy.

Staff is friendly, but prices are high at this store. They gouge you because its one of the few local stores in town. If your willing to go up to Walmart you would save yourself at least 30 cents an item. I hate shopping here. Encore dinner is 3.40 ish and Walmart is only 2.50 ish. I am about off in exact change but it was around that much of a huge difference that I decided not to buy there.

My visit to the store was interesting. The worker I was dealing with was very rude, very judgemental it seemed. She came off as if she wasnt enjoying her job and didnt want to be there and you could really tell. She definitely made me not want to spend my money there.

Out of the 3 giant eagles in the area this is my least favorite. Some (not all) of the staff can be very rude at times and they are always stocking shelves during afternoon hours which can make it hard to shop or there is at times never enough stock available. The nickname for this store was always called the dirty bird and unfortunately it still looks it in some areas. Its a shame as it is really the only supermarket for the whole west end section of Johnstown.

Could be better. Needs updated. But still a good place to shop.

I am not from Johnstown but I found this store disappointing. They do not have a bakery and the selection is small.

You pay the same high price as the store on scalp but its not very clean.

They have well stocked, quality products, friendly, helpful employees,and the store is the perfect size.

I unfortunately do shop here due to its closeness to me but that is it. This particular store is horrid at the moment and has been for quite Some time. It is dirty, pricy for uts location but that is probably one of the reasons why. You have some friendly associates there but you also have a few rude 1s. You have alot who do not even acknowledge you when they are cashing you out. They are talking to other people about their personal life and lots of other things(some of the things I have heard). If you have a car I do suggest another store perhaps richland or Westmont.
