The young male cashier was top notch. I observed him engaging and talking to special needs adult customers with a care taker. He was genuinely thoughtful in his conversation and approach. When it was my turn to be checked out I thanked him for his kindness to those customers. He told me this is a community store & he is glad to be here for the community. In the nonprofit world we long to hear those responses from every day hard workers. Hes truly a gem & I hope he is compensated as such.

This is one if the Dirtiest stores i have ever seen. This is not the stor for you if you hate clutter! Store personal are unprofessional talking on their cell phones while stocking. There were about 8 people working & ONE poor older woman ringing out customers. FINALLY after 30people were in line 2 employees opened up to help her out!!! Corporate needs to come in and get this store fixed!!!! They have more product than they can get out, so products are piled up in every isle. LOOK AT YOUR CAMERAS Seen the craziness going on. Nothing like getting stressed out while shopping here. BTW this was 12-17-20 @1pm

The shelves were being stocked and there were boxes everywhere. But every staff I spoke with were very very nice.

The cashier was super friendly and made a point to speak to every customer, this is a rare trait to see now days. Although some of the isles needed organization, I really enjoyed my browse around and did purchase several Halloween items, which they had a great selection of & 2022 calendars.

This Dollar Tree is neatly stocked. They really take pride in this store.

DONT PURCHASE the Bottles of WATER called KAFFINE( orange letters on bottle ). Bought a 1/2 dozen of them. Opened one a coupla days later. FOUL & FUNKY SMELL. Opened a couple more bottles had the same Nasty Smell. Took them back to the store. Let cashier smell. She made a face and backed away. Called manager over. She looked at the date on the bottle. She asked for a receipt. I only wanted to exchange for some other bottles of H2O(Dollar Tree,everythings a $1). She wouldnt do it. It is an item that was sold at your location. She kept saying the bottles felt hot. OF COURSE THEY WERE. I HAD TO PUT THEM IN MY TRUCK IN THE MORNING & STOP OFF ON THE WAY HOME FROM WORK. BEWARE!!! Try & check products before you leave the parking lot especially Bottles of WATER called KAFFINE!!!!

I found what I needed., which was great. The store is very sloppy and disorganized. Seems dirty. The cashier was not friendly at all, even very unpleasant, and I was there when the store just opened, so I would hate to see how she was after working a few hours. I work in customer service and she needs some training in how to be nice to customers. I will keep going because of course prices are good. But that store needs alot of help.

The store was a mess, unorganized, staff was busy stocking shelves, a long line at checkout and the cashier was slow, didnt greet me not even a thank you at the end of my transaction. Very poor Customer Service.

This place definitely needs new management. The manager had her music blaring as there was a line of ppl waiting to check out with only one cashier. Instead of helping she went and sat on the floor in an aisle... SMH 🤦

The prices are good, but the aisles are running over with clutter.

First visit to this location was great. Food options were plentiful including frozen meals, snacks, candy. Typical decorations and cards also there with school supplies available now.

This is a great store you never know what your going to find! Cashiers always try the best to check you out and are polite.

Nothing is ever stocked. Stuff is thrown everywhere and its dirty. So glad I found a dollar store that is more organized and stocked for when I need stuff. I would give 0 stars if I could because I feel like their Is never any new products like their should be. Or maybe their gone before I get to see them? Who knows but that leads back to never stocked items.

Vicki Store General Manager is totally Ghetto: Unprofessional, Uneducated, and Unintelligent. There are not enough adjectives to describe her grotesque attitude and behavior. Shed be better suited working in a factory, but the machines would also resent her ignorance. Save yourself aggravation and spend a few more cents and shop at Walgreens.

Long line only 1 register open saw at least 2 other employees on floor stocking. That should be done when not so busy.

Someone needs to tell the young lady answering the phone with Hello? HellOO without any greeting whatsoever or mention of Dollar Tree as if shes annoyed and I have the wrong number on 01/04/20 that she should either treat customers with respect and courtesy or get out of the way and let someone else who will have the job!

Good deals and prices. However, I suspect they have a management issue as there are two problems that cant be ignored. The less serious problem is their stock is not replenished in a timely manner and boxes are often blocking aisles.The worst and persistent problem is they never have enough cashiers on duty. Ridiculously long lines form and the waiting to pay often runs 15-20 minutes. They just dont care. Truly galling!

Every $1 loving this store is self explanatory.. its clean, its cheap & they have everything you need, oh & everyones nice too 🤣

The staff at 2134 W. Jefferson St. Joliet is very helpful at all times, expect a little wait time on key hours, mostly in the afternoons-early evenings, the selection is perfect, great bargains, fantastic frozen food wall (their egg rolls are superb for a $1.00 each, I cant help myself-need to buy at least a dozen just to keep in the freezer! Best place for the money!

There seems to be a trend where one of the workers tend to leave a big cart full of stock in very strange places rather than trolleying it to the storage room. Just makes the area appear cluttered, so theres a blemish on the aesthetic side. Other than that though, its alright.

Its a 90 degree day & there is NO air conditioning in the store. Poor employees! I was not comfortable shopping. It felt like Mexico in there.

Wish the products stayed stocked like the other 2 locations in Joliet. I am sure the workers try to re stock but the store always looks empty. I pass this one up to go to the other locations often.

The employees work incredibly hard. Their manager Vicky takes advantage of them frequently and does not pay the employees what they are due. Multiple times I have visited this store there is only one person at the register because Vicky is too busy wasting time to help. The staff is not adequately trained and they are constantly harassed by ghetto, trashy customers and thieves. Yes dummies, everything is a dollar. Its a dollar store. Vicky if you do not start treating your staff with respect and provide them with adequate training and pay I will report you and your buisness to corporate

This dollar store is like the others. You buy a bunch of junk from China that you dont really need. People working there were pretty nice.

Theres only 1 register going, always. Their parking lot is constantly full of garbage. They let homeless people stand out front and harass customers. Their manager with dark hair and glasses is rude and never knows anything. Whenever their bathroom is down, which is often, they come use the bathroom at my place of work, even though we have a sign stating its for our customers only. They hardly ever open on time. I always see customers standing outside waiting to get in...Their employees are all pretty nice though.

Store looks abandon, shelves are empty . cashier with no customer service experience, i found them all the way in the corner by the balloons setting on boxes,laughing and making fun of customers.Definitely the worst dollar tree ever.

Now that I work here I understand the struggle we are constantly having to put back products ppl decided they dont want and leave all over the store. We have homeless hanging around and cant do anything about it neither will police because panhandling is legal. Only one cashier cuz ppl get hired and no call no show alllllll the time. Ppl steal our 500 carts. I can go on and on. Plz be patient for those of us who go to work everyday and try.
