This is a review of customer service. We just ordered a bed yesterday, so its not been delivered yet. We shopped here based on friend recommendations and satisfaction from a previous purchase. Matthew Smith, assistant manager, helped us. It was one of the best experiences my husband and I have had on a major purchase of any kind. Mr. Smith was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. There was no pressure to make a purchase on the spot. We were shown a variety of options that met our needs. I am excited about getting the new bed based upon feedback from friends about their purchase. We are replacing ours we bought there over 12 years ago and its held up well. Materials are made locally, so its great to put our money back in the community. Check out this store before you buy.

We liked that the mattresses were locally made for you post order. The order was supposed to only take 1-2 weeks. The sales guy failed to call after 2 weeks so we called. He ordered the wrong size mattress(and way over charged us for the size we wanted) and promised to make it good with free sheets and 2 pillows. He also said hed make us a good deal on the mattress originally ordered. We had to keep calling and over 4 weeks later he had sold the original mattress to someone else without offering us any sort of deal on it, and finally had the one we did order. He also only threw in 1 pillow and nothing else.

What a wonderful experience! American made, in Joplin, MO, only an estimated 2 week wait, compared to 4 weeks at other places. We got a great deal, and they have excellent customer service! We went in, told them what we were looking for, and they helped us find the perfect fit for us, without hassle. Thank you, Matthew for the perfect mattress buying experience!

I had a great experience here. Jake led me around the store trying out beds and really helped us find what we liked and fit in our price range. Their policies are very consumer friendly and not meant to screw over the customer. Our mattress only had about a two week time from order to delivery, and it was made during that time, so it did not lose warranty time sitting on a shelf in a warehouse. Overall great experience, would shop here again.

We bought a mattress at Croft after having mediocre experiences at other stores in Joplin. The staff helped us find a mattress that fit our needs and worked with us to the best deal possible. They even managed to provide same-day shipping. Everyone looking for a mattress should stop by Croft because they are genuinely interested in educating you about sleep and mattress technology in a way that will inform you purchase. We bought our mattress months ago and we continue to endorse our purchase, as it drastically improved our sleep without draining our bank account.

Ive never been so mistreated by a company in my entire adult life experience. First I was told delivery would be the 9th. I called to confirm and was told it would be Saturday possibly. I called Saturday to confirm and was told if possible around 6. Then Rodney called and told me definitely not Saturday but definitely Sunday between 2-4. I woke my husband who works nights at 1 so that we could remove our old bed and get everything ready for our delivery......2-4 came and went. At a little after 6 I took a chance and called the store. No answer. Seconds later Matthew called me back and told me they were loading our bed onto the truck and should be there to deliver in around 45 minutes or so. It is now 10:11 PM, we have no bed to sleep on as the old one was disposed of and our delivery never arrived. No call from driver, no call from representative of the store. How is this descent to a customer that just spent $5400.00 on a new custom made bed. At this point I wish I could cancel the entire purchase.

We bought an adjustable bed recently from the Joplin store. Jacob and Matthew made our experience wonderful from the time we walked in. I’ve never felt more comfortable laying and testing mattresses. We have had our bed for a week now and I absolutely LOVE it. I only wish is that we would have bought it years ago. I found out after we bought our adjustable bed that my mother & father in law, and brother and sister-in-law have the same bed. They love theirs too. I very highly recommend that you buy your next bed there.

Great price, great service, great company. The guys at Croft were super helpful and patient with my wife and I getting a new mattress with extras that met our budget and expectations. They even gave our puppy some water when he was thirsty.

Worst purchase I’ve made in the bed department. The beds are $10,000, they have no return policy, you get no trial period with the mattresses, the only an option to make the mattress firmer or softer, and that’s after you agree to have two strangers come into your home, come into your bedroom and take the mattress to a factory to be altered, not a huge fan of that part. I have more lower back pain then I’ve ever had in my life, it wakes me at ALL hours of the night. After we called and told them, they said we had buyers remorse, they were very rude after they received our money. I would not recommend this place to anyone I care about. I would of rated a zero star but there’s no option.

Oftentimes when supporting local business, you give up some things as a customer. Value, selection, sometimes even quality cant compete with the big chains. You give up NOTHING when buying a mattress from Croft. The local plus of a friendly knowledgeable staff was definitely there. Matthew and Jake were our guys and it was like talking to two old buddies instead of some high-pressure sales pitch.The mattress itself? Ive never felt anything like it. We went all-out and got a Divinity and you will excuse the blasphemy because it is indeed like being cradled in the arms of an angel when you sleep! I mean, we had a pretty high-end Serta for 10 years that we loved, but this Divinity is an entirely different comfort level. The best word to use is unbelievable.Sure they have some pricey high-end models, but they also have a wide selection and very reasonably priced models to choose from. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this company to anyone I know.And finally, there was a small glitch in communication on delivery time. Instead of doing what the big box retailers would do (which is shrug and basically tell you well get there when we get there Matthew went out of his way to square it away, nail down a time and communicate it back to me all in the same day. I cant tell you how much I appreciate that. When I take my business to a local store, I want to be treated differently than the nameless, faceless experience in a major retail chain. I definitely got that.I probably wont need another bed in my lifetime now that I have this Forever bed, but anything else in sleep products I need, I will shop here again and recommend them to everyone else I know. Great job guys!

We have had our new adjustable forever bed for over a mouth and it is wonderful. We raise the head of the bed just a bit and my husband rarely snores anymore. The bed is so comfortable, we sleep great. It was more expensive than we were planning but knowing we have a lifetime warranty and it is so comfortable, it is a bargain.

We had an extremely pleasant experience shopping for a mattress at Joplimo Mattress. Corey and Jacob were both very knowledgeable about the construction of the mattresses. We had already shopped at other places, and I had researched online. We really liked the fact that the bed sets are manufactured locally -- Springfield, MO. Any problems and they will be taken care of there. Just take it to Joplin and they will get it to Springfield and back within one week. That is certainly totally different than what I read online about the other companies. If we decide it is too soft or too firm, they will change it! There was no high pressure tactics to get us to buy the top of the line. They made us aware of what all our options were. We gave them a price range and that is what they showed us. After being very satisfied with the mattresses we bought several years ago, we decided to go back to this local business and buy new mattresses for our kids. We walked in and were greeted right away. They asked us what we needed and they recommended the type of mattress that best fit our budget. The salesmen told us about their mattresses, how they are made locally and as needed (so they are not just sitting somewhere in a warehouse). Since we were buying two mattresses they gave us a great deal and threw in mattress covers for free. We are completely satisfied and will return when we need a new mattress!

This was by far the best furniture buying experience ever. I even left the store to shop around the competition, I was back in about 2hrs. I layed out the bullet points of what I thought I wanted, and Corey and Jacob hooked me up with a great bed at a super price. A couple of things that made me love this company, locally owned, locally manufactured, that means sales profits stay local and local jobs are created. Not only do I feel and believe I got a super deal, but I feel like I purchased from a community responsible company.

My husband and I both have back pain and need a good mattress. However, we have had some bad experiences with mattresses in the past. I had an excellent experience while shopping for mattresses at Joplimo Mattress. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome and comfortable. Ian showed me several mattresses and encouraged me to test the mattress as though it was in my home. This helped me to choose a mattress that would definitely suit my sleeping style. When it came time to order my mattress, I had spent nearly two hours in the store during which I felt relaxed, Ian ran prices for me, and he answered any questions that I had. I left the store happy with my purchase and excited for the coming week when my mattress would arrive.Due to some unforeseen complications on my end of the purchase, I ended up having to change some things around in my order; however, both Sam and Ian were incredibly gracious and understanding. They did everything in their power to make sure that I was still happy with my purchase. While Ian was not there the following day, Sam was, and he showed me a few other mattresses, one of which ended up being even more perfect than the first. I still received excellent care and service, even though my order had become more difficult to handle. I would highly recommend Joplimo Mattress for not only their locally-sourcedproducts, but their homegrown customer service as well.

I will preface this by saying I hate shopping of all kinds. It is never fun. It is time consuming and sales people are often disingenuous and pushy. There was none of that at Joplimo.The best part of this experience was the sales staff. They were knowledgeable and patient. The staff was engaging, funny, and not at all pushy. Sam helped me find the mattress set that would fit my body and my budget. While I think you can find most of the same mattress everywhere you can not find the same shopping experience everywhere. Just the other day I even suggested them to my sister.If and when you are in the market to buy a bed do yourself a favor and stop by Joplimo and ask for Sam or Josh. They will make sure to treat you right and get you the best bed in your price range. And to boot Sam helped me load it!

Best shopping experience ever for a mattress. First of all I would rather do anything else instead of shop for a mattress. 2nd, my wife and I walked in and from the start were made to feel extremely comfortable with the process. Jacob walked us through several options & was very informative about each style. He seemed genuinely concerned about us being satisfied & not just getting a sale completed. We did not shop anywhere else due to the first rate service. I would highly recommend this store, you will not be disappointed.

As we shopped for mattresses, we encountered several apathetic salespeople who were able to provide only canned, perfunctory pitches about their products. It was not until we visited Joplimo Mattress that we found all we needed to feel comfortable in making the important investment. Immediately upon entering the Joplin store (conveniently located on Range Line), we were greeted by Jacob (Jake) Smith, the Store Manager. He gave us his undivided attention for the next two hours, educating us about mattress components and other considerations, explaining what makes the Joplimo Mattress product and service different from competitors, inquiring about our sleeping preferences, patterns and positions, and assessing our alignment on several of the store’s many floor models. We were even offered a pillow to use as we shopped, which Jake selected from several options based on our typical sleeping position. Brian Dinwiddle and John Griffith were also very helpful during our experience, and I was impressed to see they each provided what appeared to be equally attentive service to the other customers that subsequently came into the store. Jake was incredibly personable and patient--he discussed all of our options and answered all of our questions and concerns—and he seemed genuinely interested in helping us to find the right mattress to suit our individual needs. We ended up with not only a mattress for our master bedroom, but one for our guest room, as well, both of which are scheduled to be delivered to/set up in our home within just days. Save yourself time and start your mattress shopping with Joplimo Mattress…as Jake says, “You’re worth it!”

Had a wonderful first experience mattress shopping! The store manager Jake was so personable and helpful. He answered every question we had and went out of his way to educate us on the different types of mattresses. He was willing to take the time to find a mattress that would be suitable for our personal sleeping positions and preferences, and even helped us to get the best deal financially. We were in the store for at least two hours debating back and forth, and through the whole process, never felt pressured or uncomfortable. I would recommend this store to anyone who is looking for a mattress, especially if its their first time buying!! 10/10

I literally can not say enough about our experience with Joplimo Mattress in Joplin. My wife and I bought our first mattress from them 4 years ago on a very tight budget, (newlywed, young couple, with our first baby on the way) and we definitely got our moneys worth! Fast forward to now, we have 2 kiddos and 1 on the way. With my wife being pregnant and me working construction, we needed a new bed! We tried a Forever Bed and fell in love, we probably could have just took a nap right there in the showroom if not for our two year old tag along. Jake was our salesman and went above and beyond to inform/educate us and also make sure we got the best deal possible. And we did! The delivery crew brought our new beds and set everything up for us today, my wife says they were very professional and respectful of our home, which is a big relief for me personally since I had to work out of town and couldnt be here. There was a mishap with the tag on one of the mattresses tearing off when they removed the bag, I talked to Sam at the store and he assured me our warranty is good or they will replace the mattress. All in all we are very happy with our purchase, the quality of our new beds, and the entire staff at Joplimo and will definitely be spreading the word. If you want a quality mattress, to deal with quality individuals, and support a local business which benefits our local economy (VERSUS shopping at a bigbox store/corporation that wont stand behind their products and find every loophole they can to void your warranty) Shop Joplimo!

We absolutely love Joplinmo! We bought a Forever bed with adjustable frame, pillows, and sheets and cant wait for it to be delivered. Brent and Jared at the Springfield, MO location are amazing. They were patient, informative, and truly wanted us to be happy with our purchase.

Over the last few years we’ve had some questions about our fist bed we purchased and always received clear and accurate answers.
