The Service Department went above and beyond today for my husband Roger and I . We are from out of town traveling to Massachusetts when our Truck begin losing power . We had already stop somewhere else and was told two weeks and good luck finding the part . NOW we get to Joplin and Kasi in the service department takes us right in, has the service guy look at it, he even missed lunch and had us back on the road in under 30 minutes. Kasi even made sure we had lunch That is customer service . We thank God for the right people and the right location.Landers in Joplin Mo deserves to be rewarded.
We have had our equinox in 4 times because of leaks. First was the antenna, then the sunroof. The antenna is still loose, your service guys said the antenna is the way it is supposed to be. After they fixed it the 3rd time and it still leaked they said the tubes in the sunroof continue to be blocked so we would have to bring it in every time it rains so they can clean out the tubes. Nothing more they can do. Said to talk to the SM about the Lemon Law he has been out for the past 3 days cant reach him.

Worst customer service and loyalty ever, Car-Mart has better loyalty to customers than Landers! I bought my Camaro from there 6yrs ago, got oil changes for life and engines for life. Got my oil changes every time on time, to get my engines for life I had to pay for an additive every oil change. I did all of this for 6yrs. 2 weeks ago my motor blows, I call Landers they tell me its a long shot that it will be covered, but to have it towed to them for $140 diagnostic fee and to submit it for warranty. Then they call me back wanting another $550 to go deeper diagnostic. I asked if it was going to be covered by engines for life, and she said I looked at your records and you missed an additive 1 time in 2018, so its void! I paid every time, so they either charged me for it and didnt show it or intentionally left it off. Now why would I pay for that additive every time for 6yr straight if I missed it once! Lander is a shady, scandalous, low level used car lot without any customer service skills or customer loyalty! I have been a loyal customer for 9yrs, this was my 2nd car I bought from there. Never will I use them again not even for the free oil changes they still owe me!UPDATED 11/3 Had to contact Landers to get a copy of service records, they immediately sent me to Cass the service advisor that had been handing my car. I tell her I need my service records, she was rude and just kept telling me from now on I have to talk to her service manager. (guessing after my review? ) So I tell her to get manager so I can get my records, he is out for who knows how long he is sick she said. Went up and got my records she was rude still telling me to talk to her absent boss! I told her I no longer needed service from them and so I didnt need to talk to him. Overall she had her chance to change my mind and blew it, by being rude!
My experience with Landers was excellent! Stopped by one day and not sure wanted to pursue purchase. Made appointment for next day with Bobby Mac. When arrived, car (2021 Cadillac XT5) was in front of dealership ready for test drive and information on bells and whistles. Paperwork and financing went very quickly, even though Bobby was very busy. He took the time to make sure we were comfortable during our wait. Very happy with experience and with Bobby Mac! Made an appointment to see a truck. Drove 90 miles to find that it wasnt in. This had been noted. No one called to save us a trip. They have been waiting on it for 3 weeks, but still listing as inventory???? Then offered 1/3 of going price on our truck? What a joke
*UPDATE*Bobby Mac is an awesome salesman! Happy was excellent during the warranty and financing! We have have found a dealer in Landers Chevrolet Cadillac of Joplin!!*EDIT* Took truck in for service. Service writer informed us that it had something wrong that was under warranty, made the appointment for Saturday morning, took it over Friday evening. Got a call around noon Saturday that it was not under warranty! Wait…what!?! And to top it off the parts were not even there. (We live an hour from Joplin) !?! There is also damage to the truck that I just happened to see as we were walking by it!! So now we are waiting to hear from service manager… Monday! Will edit with an update! WOW LANDERS - GM…REALLY!*UPDATE*Service manager called Monday as promised… They are fixing the truck under warranty, repairing the damage and picking it up! Thank you, Joe!

Mr. Quinn was fast to greet me when I pulled and asked me questions about the car and then directed me to the waiting area and told me the oil change and inspection would take about 45 minutes. It seemed like it took less than that to do the oil change and he told me the oil was changed and what was to be inspected all passed and that the only thing the needed was windshield washer fluid so they topped that off. Another very pleasant experience with Landers.

Tom was so helpful and the team was swift in resolving our problem. We had a puncture half way through our road trip from Chicago to Dallas - with a car fully of people and luggage it’s not the best situation. I called and spoke to Tom who was empathetic to our situation and as soon as we got to the dealership, he had us in service ASAP and out with a flat repair within 40 mins.

Ive purchased over 20 new GM trucks in 30 years and never have I been able to get a even close to fair price at a Chevy dealer in Joplin. So decided to try one more last time since it changed hands again. Not even close to any other Chevy dealer on price . I saved $7000 by driving a short distance. Ive even tried their service and never been able to get a call back in the three times I tried.

Bobby Mac stayed over an hour after close to work around my work schedule. He took care of everything throughout the day so that it only took a few minutes to tie up a few lose ends. Very quick and easy. He listened to what I wanted and needed and found a car that works for me.
Kasi got me right in and out!!! The only concern is why we don’t get it changed for 9000 miles. That seems like a lot of miles between oil changes. It was never like that before
We gave them the benefit of the doubt and to see if theyd make it right or at least help but nothing they could do. We declined the extended warranty so 8000 miles is all we get out of a used vehicle we paid 16,000 for 3000 over fair market price. Motor blew and now I have to figure out how to put 7800 dollar motor in my vehicle. Save you money and go to Fletcher Nissan. They also never done safety inspection I had to have it done. Youre correct the vehicle in question is under my husbands name and they did reach out and said sorry nothing we can do.

My mom and I went to Landers Chevrolet to look for another car that i was needing. My personal car is a corvette 2008 that I bought two years ago, and I really didnt want to daily drive it to work. Bobby Mac was the guy who took care of us, and he definitely was very helpful when it came to test driving the cars that we wanted before purchasing one. Our goal was to buy the lowest priced car on the lot, but we ended up choosing a 2013 Hyundai Sonata. I appreciate your help Bobby Mac, and If i ever need to look for a car in the future, I will definitely be coming back to test drive some new cars.

When we went to trade 99 Camry in the sales man November 2019 only showed us two used suvs. One was a jeep grand Cherokee and a nissan murano a 2018. The sales man only cared to make a sale. Not to make sure to show us more used suvs. Sales man was very hyper, he did say he had anxiety but not taking his meds. As for fiance company Ally, what a joke, they cant speak clear fluent English and they cant understand you. Not a good finance company at all for landers to go through. They are aware that Ally ppl dont speak fluent English or understand us. Id say landers of Joplin needs to get rid of Ally.
Lou in Service is great. I have know him for years and he has great knowledge and expertise in handling anything. I broke off my turn signal on my truck. He got me in with in a couple of hours. The part was in stock and I was on my way home within an hour. When I call I will always ask for Lou.

Extremely disappointed with my experience today and your servuce dept. I called because our Escalade that we bought from there is having issues and was given the run around. We purchased an extended warranty on the vehicle and it has less than 10k miles on it. Finally after being transferred twice we were told to bring the vehicle up for a 130pm app and that they would get it right in to look at it and make a determination on what the issue was. Upon arriving there we were informed that the sent us to a 3rd party and they cannot get the car in and fix it today. So now it is the holiday weekend and our trip is ruined because we have a car we cannot depend on and a delearship we can depend even less on.
Car set for over a day when I had made an appointment. Was at dealership when technician came pulling my car in way to fast. My service advisor couldn’t give me an update. Last, my CORVETTE came back dirty from greasy hands and with exterior cosmetic damage it didn’t have when I dropped it off. Will not take car back here for service
