My phone completely died and due to the fact that use it for my work all day every day, it was urgent that I get it replaced immediately. Katie Thrasher, Verizon Associate was incredibly helpful and expedited the process and even checked in on me later to make sure everything was setup and running smoothly. Katie was great and I highly recommend her!

Having trouble with my Samsung phone. Verizon employee couldnt fix and said I needed a new phone. When I asked for something on the economic side I was told Samsung was now using cheaper parts in the less expensive phones and they werent as reliable. I didnt buy one.
I took my son to get a new phone and he got one he wont destroy in a week at work. He is very excited about his new phone. Hopefully it is as tough as they say

We received great customer service but never received what we ordered. We were excited about having our brand new iPhone12 pro preordered through their store and shipped to our home address. Two weeks later we find out the phone was never ordered.

Im not normally a person to leave reviews but being treated this poorly and lied to left me no other choice. In early July I came to this location to add a line and purchase a new cell phone for my fiance. I was interested in the galaxy s20 and the sales person (Cindy) told me about the new galaxy A71 that was on promotion. Originally $665 and after promotions it was only $385. Sounded like a pretty sweet deal especially when Cindy told me it was very similar to the s20. She told me the $280 in promotion would show up on my bill in 1-2 cycles ( septempber) . Early October I message Cindy asking where my credit is at and she says she will look into it the next day. 3 days later I still have no answer and ask her again where my promo was at. This time it takes her 2 more days and said its finally being processed and it should appear on my account in 10-15 days. 18 days later still no bill credit and I message Cindy again asking if we can get this resolved. She said yes im sorry ill get it done today. Another week goes by with no bill credit and no response once again from Cindy. I message her again and she says its been processed and would let me know in the morning. The next day Im patiently waiting for my response like the last numerous times and finally that evening I had to be the one to text her again and she says it should be on my bill . I go look on my account and I recieved a credit for $179....not the original $280 that Cindy told me in July. I ask Cindy about this error and she told me shed have to look into it..... its been 10 days now and still havent heard from Cindy. This is completely insane that I have had to fight for a promotion I was promised. If you want to be lied to just so they can make a sale and ignored constantly and mislead then go to this store. This person specifically used false promotions or promises and didnt follow through with them. Im not normally one to leave reviews like I said but this review will be followed up by a letter to corporate and a complaint with the BBB. Please consider taking your business somewhere else where its appreciated and you wont be lied to.UPDATE 11/29 : Its been almost two weeks now since I emailed the given email address in the response to my review and havent heard anything from Verizon or this store. Really goes to show how much this company cares about its customers. Ive been with Verizon most of my life and am really regretting going back with them.
Ive enjoyed every aspect of being a Verizon customer! The online service on the My Verizon app is just as good as walking into the store, but it is always nice to have the ability to put my hands on a phone or tablet before I buy it, so the walk in sales floor is still very valuable. The employees at this store are knowledgeable and courteous. I travel all over the Midwest and have only 1 area in Illinois coming back into Missouri that is a dead zone. My lovely wife would be a great product tester because she is so hard on phones. We have had to replace 3 phones in a little over a year and each time we had the replacement the next day. I would like to know when this corporate store will open. The Verizon further down rangeline can’t seem to help me trade in my paid off disconnected device for credit towards another product. The customer service there I received my last visit was 100% different than my previous experience. I’ll never return to that location.I know covid has changed business. But is there a ETA on when this will open?

Ive worked with Sarah in the past & she was fantastic! Alex helped me last month with set up for my sons first iPhone. My son excitedly FaceTimed my mother & we all had a lovely visit. This turned out to be the last time my mother could speak to us as she passed away unexpectedly. Ive communicated to Bill (their incredible store manager...he really cares & helps you resolve issues with confidence, wisdom, & peace...Which is nice when you have a broken phone) :) how grateful we are for their service. Because of Alex and the pheonominal job he did, we had an opening to connect and share love with my mom before she passed. Our family is forever grateful. ❤️

Horrible Service. Had to wait 30 minutes to ask a simple question. My mother wanted to use a Note 4 for service with the BYOD and the said they couldnt do it. T-mobile does it no problem even straight talk would do it. I personally would never use Verizon Im sticking with Sprint

Nice people, but they dont know what they are doing. Ive spent a considerable amount of time on the phone with Verizon customer service correcting a mistake made to our account by a sales associate. If it were the first time, I might not be so upset. As it is, I will make a concerted effort to obtain Verizon services at another location.

This is my favorite Verizon store. This the one I go to since its close to home. But I have been to several all over since I travel a lot. Always friendly and the reps do their best to help and answer all my questions.

Very disappointed in this place. Came over from att after 20+ years. Was told bill would be this much. Bill came and was alot higher than was told for 2 lines. Got very little help spent hours on phone with verison 3 months later they fig it out and credit my account.. Then when switched was to get visa rebate card for each line transfered took 3+ monthes and only got one spent hours on phone w verison and got nowhere. Lady at store was supose to check been,3 weeks and no answer back. Guess il be returning to att cuz 20+ years never been,lied to. NOT A SATISFIED VERIZON CUSTOMER... THEY CHEAT YA AND LIE TO YOU. BEWARE OF THIS STORE....

I was very impressed when I walked in to exchange a product that I had gotten from another store only a couple days before that I had noticed was the wrong item. They were able to get me speaking to a representative (birdvir- as it says on my receipt) very quickly. He was very patient with the situation, helped me get the right thing, and I even got a small credit back on my account!

In-person customer service non-existence. I went in there needing help with my account and wanted to look at a device for a gift for my wife. I came into the store and 3 employees were standing around talking with each other and I was the only customer in the store. I went and signed in as I usually do and then waited and literally looked at all three employees that then walked to different areas in the store and none asked if they could be of service. I then waited 10 minutes until one of them actually came up and asked me if they could help me. Once I told them the situation with my account they said they could not help and gave me the customer service phone number. I then asked about the device I was interested in and they tried to sell me on another branded device because it is what they owned and didnt answer what I was asking about the device I was interested in. Poor customer service in-person that I will avoid at all cost from now on and order online or call for customer service.

Despite being very busy and our visit taking a while before being served, out service was friendly and helpful and the problem was resolved quickly.
Went to the store due to wrong information for a 400 dollar promotion.When u order your free VR the headset and 256gig card is available only on the first day for 99 dollars extra, they told me the entire time you could get the promotion for the headset and the sd card which was not true, after the first day it isnt available. So the second day I went to order and its not available. I was called a liar and the employees that work there are saints. I was the idiot and didnt understand them, thats what I told in a round about way.. The store manager treats you like an idiot and repeatedly tells you well I just dont think you understood them, they know what there doing. Out of 7 hours on the phone multiple hours on the phone and nothing. AVOID THIS STORE IF ALL POSSIBLE. I would like to add that some of the employees are awesome.. But what does that matter if they have bad leadership. Look at all the complaints in the past year. If one person is complaining thats no big deal, but multiple people..

Is a very poor store to do business with. Traded in old I phones for a galaxy8+ and was told by salesman that there were no offers at current time from Verizon in the Galaxy.So wife and j both traded up and was told we could return then up to 14 days and receive our old phones back if we did not like the Galaxy.Needless to say we called after a week and the salesman said they had already disposed of our old phones.We then mentioned to him of a Verizon add that offered us $250 for any smartphone traded in on a galaxy 8+. He then tells us that offer did not apply to us.So we got lied to and taken.I recommend to shop any place rather then the Joplin store.
Apparently they have 2 different billing systems and the bill in the app isnt guaranteed accurate.
Asked if they had a 4.8 amp(2.4 amps/port) car charger. They said they did so I bought it. Tried using phone with gps and phone showed that it was slow charging. That means that the charger is not a rapid charger. Took it back with receipt within 14 days and was told I needed the little plastic bag as well. I also found out that the manager does not know what amps are and he works at a phone store. You should know what powers your devices if you work there. Also, who keeps a simple plastic bag if they are not planning on returning it. Totally disappointed & will not be purchasing anything else from the store. Too bad the store is not as great as the network.

Verizon business customer of 13 years here. My phone took a tumble on the way to a trade show yesterday, thankfully, I have insurance. I stopped in here as when I Called neosho, they said this was the closest store to do insurance through. I drove an hour out of my way to get here. When I arrived, I was totally ignored. The fellow with no name tag, a beard and a vest took his time wandering around touching phones randomly, and occasionally looked up at me ( I was staring at him, waiting for help) but he didnt even talk to me for over 5 minutes after arriving. I told him of my issue and started to explain to him how important it was that I have a phone right away as I process credit cards on my phone, and I was en route to a trade show. He interrupted me, put his hand up, and disappeared. He came back with a little card with claim instructions on it. I asked him how I could get a phone TODAY because it easy important to my business, he interrupted me speaking again to tell me they simply didnt do that unless it was a certain set of circumstances.. well, last time this happened, my fayetteville location was awesome and got me going in no time (less than 15 minutes) this guy clearly didnt even want to try, considering I could even finish my sentences. Verizon, this might be the last straw.. and bearded, no name tag guy in joplin, your customer service is lackluster at best.. Sprint has some really good offersright now...think Ill swing by there tonight.

Only giving one star because there are no negatives, if there were however I would be on that side of the ratings. Back story I HAD been a Verizon customer for 12 years, had been talking with corporate about some phones on my account and doing an upgrade deal instead of switching to AT&T who were offering me buy one get one on the Note 7, the service center was closed so I couldnt talk to them at the moment but had some questions that needed answered. Called the Joplin corporate store, and the girl informed me that they couldnt help me. Fine and dandy I get it, corporate has more ability to fix things to keep customers than the store does. What happened though that made me go ahead and switch to AT&T was that the girl after thinking that she hung up the phone proceeded to bad mouth me, saying that I called up there asking for a free phone and this and that and. Problem was that I had never said anything of that manner, I had only asked her if she could answer some questions about the deal that I was working on. I called back and asked for the store manager and she didnt care about what the girl had done. Loving my AT&T thus far

I have been a Verizon customer for years. Customer service has went down hill. I was traveling and decided to use a month to month plan, which means no customer service.Today I called and was hung up the goes time I called. The second time after telling him I was hung up on, I was ok on hold for 12 minutes just to be transferred to the sales department.I hung up this time. I wanted to buy the most expensive phone. Now I will switch to AT&T.
