Was a bit of a wait, but the gentleman who helped me was able to understand what I needed. He provided the equipment necessary to accomplish it. He helped me through the process in a way someone whos not so techno savy could understand!

Working in the service industry myself I can say that I do enjoy going to this store. I know theres a new team of people and managers, so theres going to be a lot of confusion and some waiting, especially now with a new phone launch, and the chip shortage to get into that phone. Yes... I had to wait. But that happens everywhere you go. Maybe people should be a little more kind and understanding and they could get their issues resolved.
The employees in this store was nice and very knowledgeable. Its a clean store and very spacious. However the wait time was long nearly 40 minutes despite having an appointment, but being a very new customer a waited because I had some important questions that needed answered. There were only 2 floor employees and a greeter on a Saturday!. I was like there aint no other employees coming in? As I left, other employees showed up go figure. So whats the point of having an appointment if I still have to wait for nearly 40 minutes? Nice store, but be prepared for long wait times especially on weekends.
In my last 3 visits I was assisted by 3 different individuals. I would not recommend any of them. It takes forever to get assistance. Once I needed a new SIM card. That took over an hour. The last visit the person helping me just was not knowledgeable about cell phones. I won’t go back there.
Very clean professional place. They were fairly busy when I walked in but the wait time was less than 30 minutes. I believe the sales representative that helped me was Jeremy and he was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Totally unhelpful and understaffed. Refused to help with a disconnected line and just kept waving the paper of phone numbers in our face saying wed have to call ourselves: no one can help us. We had been on call and hold for 95 min with support on the phone at this point.Asked to get checked in at 5:30pm, was told we close the doors at 7 no matter who is here and the wait is over an hour, with a too bad! attitude. The store may close at 7 or 8, but if you arent there by 5 no service.SMDH.Customer service agents shrug their shoulders instead of helping, and our line still doesnt work. Take your money elsewhere!
I waited nearly an hour, twice, to be helped. The first visit I couldnt wait any longer so I left. The second visit was also a long wait but I was helped quicker despite the store being slightly busier. The employee who helped me was knowledgeable and helpful, however his associate sent my new phone to the wrong address. And that was especially troublesome because the cellular antenna had gone bad on my current phone and I was without cell service altogether until the new phone arrived. Overall, I am giving 3/5 stars. Accidents happen but nobody likes waiting.
Very disappointing. Came in for an upgrade, no appointment. Expected a wait, they unfortunately have very uncomfortable chairs which poses as a pain. I have been here for a little over an hour, should be first in line right now but every other customer who has walked in after me has been helped. Will be leaving in 5 if I continue to be ignored.
Been having issues with recently not having 5g in 5g areas, spoke with Gretchen Stein, she installed a new sim and went through my settings and found one that needed turned on, went to Grand Rapids today and wahlah 5g. Thank you Gretchen for taking the time with me and my phone.
Walked in, greeted, asked what I needed and got help asap. Was on my lunch and in and out in 25min. He (Michael) fixed both my daughters and my account separately and took a request for later for a phone I want when it comes in. Fast, professional and masks on!
I mean, its Verizon. Theyll take ages to see you and likely wont be able to help, at least not for more money. Not the fault of the staff, just a trash company.

Store has great customer service. Been here twice and I have nothing bad to say. Gretchen and Matt were patient, listened attentively and resolved my reason for visiting the store. They are also following COVID precautions and prioritizing everyones health.

They took my name and added me to the list when I got there. I waited an hour wondering why no one was helping me. The guy who took my name messed it up so when they did help me they were looking at the wrong account. Very nice people just not organized. I will order my phone online next time.
Update 6/30/2021. My issue is finally resolved. A special thanks to Nick at the Kalamazoo Westmain store for helping me with this issue! He is a great asset to the Verizon team.Update! 6/25/2021. I emailed you per your request. Still no response!On January 2 received new phones through a BOGO promotion. Promotion was if you added a line From another company and had an unlimited plan, phones were BOGO. I added a line from AT&T, changed my plan and thought I was taking advantage of the promotion, however, turns out Verizon was taking advantage of me. The customer service representative apparently didn’t code the transaction correctly and promotion was not initiated. I made several calls via customer service and this issue was suppose to be corrected . Month after month the bill would come and was still not correct. Made an appointment at the store over 2 months ago. Spent over 2 hours there with Nick (who is the only thing awesome about Verizon) to get things corrected. Nearly 6 months later and still have not seen the monetary correction made. Bill still continues to be wrong month after month. A credit was suppose to be issued and that still hasn’t happened going on 6 months later! Went to the store AGAIN today and was told by the arrogant manager that “some how” the credit request has fallen out of the system and he has to resubmit it and start all over. I was told hopefully I will see the correction within a month or two. REALLY!?! I have asked for the District manager to call me and to date have not received a call. Nick was awesome but as far as any other customer service from Verizon on West Main…….it doesn’t exist. Be careful!!!!

The employee at the corporate store did an even exchange from the s20 that wasnt a good fit for me to this amazing thinQ v60 LG and he fixed the bill issues and even helped me with some bonuses the phone rep missed! ALWAYS BUY YOUR PHONE INSIDE THE STORE! worth every minute. Ps. VERIZON GIVE THAT CLERK A RAISE! he was seriously wonderful! **** WestMain, Mi.***** Original post******OK they are the most expensive provider but they also give us a great military discount on monthly service as well as accessories. Waiting for over an hour to talk to the business specialist...that was never even there in the first place...
My experience from this location is AWFUL. The sales person not only sent me home with the wrong phone the first time so I had to go back in, but then took almost two hours to process a return on the old and give me the correct one. Then I received an email from Verizon saying my new device was not activated (even though I was currently using it) and I would be charged the full amount on my next bill if I didn’t activate it. I called to get that taken care of and was assured that everything was all set and I had nothing to worry about. Well what do you know, my next bill was over $1,000 because the sales rep couldn’t just do his job properly the first time. Since then, I’ve been in the store, called and texted Verizon and have still received no help. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.
I was there at 10:05 and it took nearly 45 minutes to be escorted in. Had to talk to the wonderful sales rep through a solid acrylic panel plus masks making it very difficult to communicate. BUT! The sales rep was wonderful despite all those challenges.
It was a great experience. The staff were extremely helpful especially Justin at the West main store. I highly recommend them and Verizon has the best service and best reception. Great job yall!!!

I came in just to upgrade my phone. Four hours later they had me switched to a business plan and said it would be better than the plan I was on. I wish I would’ve read the fine print. My high-speed data runs out after 10 gigs! The plan I was already on had 75 gigs of high-speed. It is saving me a little bit of money, but I would rather have the high-speed data. Try to change back but was on able to.
I loved the great customer service as I was treated with respect and dignity, I was also helped with a timely manner. Great place to shop for a new phone, even during a pandemic-COVID-19.
Faster service than any other cell phone store.Still much more expensive than others as well.Went with a different carrier thats better priced and we havent had reception issues or anything but if you live in the country you need Verizon.
Big mike went above and beyond to help me. I spent awhile with him while getting my new phone, he made sure to get me the best deal possible. Then when I went to leave my car battery died I went back inside to wait for the tow truck(they said over an hour wait) while sitting inside Mike offered to help and grabbed Dave. Mike and Dave pushed my car across the parking lot so we could get to the battery and Dave got his personal vehicle and jumper cables and got me on my way. So thankful and appreciative of their help phone and vehicle wise.
I had a very difficult problem with my cell phone and it was handled beautifully. They went far beyond what they had to do in order to satisfy me. All cell providers are not the same. Verizon stands at the top as far as Im concerned!
From beginning to end we had amazing service! My husband switched his business account over and we were so impressed we moved the family account as well. Corey, the business manager was very helpful and tried to make the best case scenario work for our large family. And Matt was amazing! He has spent several days with us as we dealt with schedules of different family members, and all the while he has been patient and extremely helpful. He definitely went above and beyond to make sure we left happy! And to top it off, both really nice guys! Double win! We are looking forward to a long relationship with verizon. This location, and it’s employee’s sealed the deal.
Terrible customer service in this store. The sales people ignored me, and then when they finally waited on me, they rushed me and did not closely listen to my questions. I had to latter call Apple and they answered my question completely.
Long-time customer for good reasons. Excellent reception coast to coast; good pricing, and their staff, no matter what (corporate) store you visit, is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Im not a techie so I require a lot of TLC. I always find solutions quickly and easily here. Simply the best of the cellular bunch by a country mile.
Dave Turner is phenomenal! Drove all the way from Metro Detroit to have him help us because he always goes out of his way to make sure things are taken care of and you are leaving happy! We will always deal with him and only him!!
It was okay, two reasons. First, thetechnician(for lack of a better term) was courteous, but I felt hurried out of the store. It may have been because a previous customer from the evening before had entered the store and was waiting for the technician I was working with. Which isnt a good excuse to hurry someone else out.Second, (I may have presented a not so normal phone purchasing experience, because my old phone did not work at all) the technician did not know how to sync my phone with my Google cloud account without being able to use my old phone, which would not work at all. The technician tried a couple of times to sync my phone to no avail. Then the technician told me to call Google and have them help me. The technician unlocked my phone so I could use it to call Google. Then sent me on my way.Now, I dont consider myself a very tech savvy person, but I know enough to be dangerous, so in the spirit of trying to figure it out myself, I went to Gmail and logged into my Google account and everything synced (except for my past text messages). Seriously took me 30 seconds. Now how in the hell can someone who works at a phone store with all their technology and know how not figure that out. Other than that, my experience at the Verizon store was a okay one.
One of the best phone company experiences Ive ever had. I met Nick and his assistant in training and they were great guys! Nick was so informative and helpful, which I deeply appreciated. The guys answered all my questions, werent pushy about sell ups and Nick tried to help me save as much money as I could on my monthly bill. If you ever need a new phone or have questions, look no further! This is the location I would highly recommend.
Great customer service and good prices on the phones and plans. We had Andrew, who did a fantastic job. We went in to buy just 1 phone and switch plans, and ended up leaving with 2 phones, and 2 HUM units for our vehicles, and we were still under our original price! Andrew was very upfront about pricing, and other costs. He even went so far as to break down our bill for us step by step so that we could see what everything was and why.
Staff were incredibly patient and helpful when issues arose in coordinating a family plan, lending me a phone and coordinating calls. Especially great service from Zach, Cory, and Jason!

Awful customer service every time I go there and majority of their employees (not all) but most are not friendly or helpful. I ended up going to the Verizon store on Stadium Drive and they were AWESOME! So personable and helped me out right away. Its a lot smaller than the one on W Main but its well worth it. The W Main Verizon store lost a customer and Stadium gained one.
A year ago Bought 2 pixel 2xl with 300 off each with 2 year contract. They screw up selling me the phones on separate plans, but say I can merge them in a month for multiple line discount. They merge them in a month over great hassle to me and my wife. Now a year into it and 1 of the phones is not getting the discount. So my wife emails them to clear it up and they tell her no. Losers at Verizon. I bought 2 phones. I was promised the discount, I paid my monthly charges. I kept my end they failed me and I pay top dollar for big plans. I will change to 3 star and say what I like when they fix the FRAUD committed. You cant take a contract and default and not be fraud. In Michigan they will see treble (triple) damages for their lack of caring about screwing over people. Any lawyers can hit me up. All purchased and paid by me on 1 card
I went in for an upgrade and had Micheal And Mike help me! one had a really cool beard and awesome tattoos and made the process simple. Both gentleman were very nice and educational.
Great staff and nice store layout. Employees are super helpful although some of them are farely new and not as knowledgeable, they get the job done. Also. They have live models of pretty much all the current devices so you can really get a hands on experience when choosing something out.

Like the phone I got didnt like how a girl there tried to lie to me I still upgraded my phone but she did not give the right info to activate phone under my number and not add a new line. But I knew better then to listen. One star because I like my phone.

Ive always dreaded dealing with cellphone companies/salespeople....until I went to the Verizon store on West Main in Kalamazoo. Several years ago we went in with some questions and very leary of hard sell and being treated like tech-loser ol folks.........definitely NOT HERE! We met salesperson Zach O. who was, and continues to be amazing! Knowledgeable. Informative. Intuitive. And definitely NOT hard-sell. He was truly interested in what would work best for us, NOT what he could sell, get us out the door, and never care if it was what we needed or not. We have been back to see him several times, as recently as today 8/8/18, and he totally understood our questions today. We are traveling internationally and we wanted to know how not to accrue extra data charges. He walked us through the procedure perfectly. I cannot praise this Verizon store enough, and specifically Zach O.

Just switched from Sprint to Verizon and at first we were quite hesitant but our sales associate was knowledgeable and gave us many options to choose from. We were very pleased with the service we received and the manager even checked with us to make sure we were taken care of properly. My wife and I highly recommend this store.

Its just too big and not enough employees to wait on everyone. When you go there it literally takes hours to get waited on. Sales associates are nice, knowledgeable and friendly but once again and I cant stress it enough they need more help or a different system. I now go to the Stadium drive store because even though its smaller Im in and out in at least half the time.
Great service then toys are super friendly and it took no time to get assistance definitely a place to go if you are in need of superior communications check them out when youre in the area you wont have any regrets this I can guarantee

They Refuse to stand behind there faulty phones and take care of there loyal customers. Do not purchase a Hydrogen Red Its a peace of garbage drops calls has charging issues shuts down at random. I have had this phone changed out 3 separate times now. At what point wont Verizon as the company that sold the phone just let me switch it out.

Loved it! I am not tech savvy. The Verizon rep that sold the phone was very nice and patient. Im a retiree and Ive never used the wireless chargers, power thingy, or etc. Didnt know how to transfer content. Couldnt even charge the phone at home, so I went back today. The Verizon person who helped me today (Gretchen)actually sat and took time to help me set up my new S10+, transfer data. I was soooooo thankful, because I didnt have a clue!!LOVE MY NEW GALAXY S10+!!! YAAAAYYY!!!

Good store. It is usually the store I go to for my cellphone needs. The screen protector installed on my phone at store continually falls off, but besides this I have nothing bad to say.
Always friendly associates. They werent able to help me the day I was in there with what I needed, but was able to do it online.

I know its hard to believe anyone would rate a cell phone store at 5 stars, but based on the experience Ive had here, I think I have to. Ive had to go there about 3 or 4 times only but have had great experiences each time. I went toward the end of the day once and they were pretty busy. I had to wait about 30 minutes to be helped that day, but they did keep telling me they were sorry and would get to me as quickly as possible. They use a check in system when you come in the store so as soon as someone is free, your name is called to be helped. The system appears to work really well there. Any questions Ive ever had, they were able to answer as well. I last went in to inquire about a special promotion on a new Galaxy S7 phone for my daughter, and while I was there asked about a couple of bad pixels on the display of my current phone. The lady that helped let me know my current phone was under warranty and ordered a brand new one on the spot to be shipped right to my house to replace the one with the bad couple of pixels on the screen. She was also able to help me with the questions I had about the phone for my daughter and get it added to my plan. On top of that, she let me know that if I picked out any accessory, even something as simple as a screen protector, that there was a special, unadvertised promotion to get a Gear VR headset for free. Since the phone was a Christmas present, the VR headset helped make it just that much better.It has been like that each time Ive gone in. The people are friendly and so far all the ones Ive talked to seem to know what they are talking about and appear to be genuinely interested in helping. This is a LONG way from some places Ive been with a bunch of teens barely interesting in helping you and more interesting in checking their social media status. As long as the service continues to be this good, Ill always go back and always recommend it to people.
