Great space to really focus and work while listening to some good tunes that the barista is playing all the while drinking a really great flat white

First time at Factory Coffee and Im a big fan. I had a delicious Chai-der and tart for a fall treat. Staff was incredibly friendly and I loved the warm environment of the Frank St. location. Will be back soon!!

Great vanilla latte as always. The barista, John, was very easy to talk to and we had interesting conversation while he prepared my beverage! Factory coffee remains my favorite local Kalamazoo coffee shop.

Went here on 7/17.Bought a pour over and a v60.Jon, the barista on duty, was incredibly welcoming and informative. Definitely going to be my go to spot for a nice cup of coffee.

Such an awesome place. Located in an old historic building in downtown Kalamazoo. Hundred year old hardwood floors creak with history as you walk around. The coffee is top notch. Staff is very friendly. Exposed brick walls add to the charm. They have antique mopeds to look at too. Grayling ceramic studio in the basement produces beautiful items. This is the local business I seek out and support. Stop in for a cup of joe and do the same.

Amazing little coffee shop. They specialize in espresso from San Francisco. The almond croissants taste delicious. Had made pottery for sale made in the basement. Great if you are looking to buy a growler.

I adore Grayling Ceramics, so I was biased before the first time I came in, but fortunately the drinks are quite good, too. The peppermint mocha is sinfully good. The waffle darts are great fun, and the service is always very friendly. Great place to chill and study!

Best coffee place on the northside of Kalamazoo, in fact much more than just a stop to have a good cup with a sort of industrial decor, warm atmosphere, and friendly people. They have couches to flake out and quiet corners to network and do your computing. We liked their scones.

Phenomenal espresso, which makes a great latte! The homemade syrups are excellent as well. Dave (the owner) is a great people person, and we really enjoyed getting to hear his story! We can’t wait to visit and support Factory Coffee again!

Our favorite local spot. The espresso is perfect, and they offer oatmilk for a non-dairy latte! Great cold brew, treats, and the VERY best people! You can bring your (well-behaved) pups out to the patio! Eat in or on the patio! ☕🖤

I hate these little coffee shops that attempt to be unique and, truthfully, I never go to them but someone requested we meet there on official business. It did, however, have comfortable seating and the lady behind the counter was exceptionally kind and courteous. So if I could rate the genre of the coffee shop it would be a 1 but the service and quality of this one is a 5.

I liked this cafe. The theme was cool, and the building was pretty nice. The person at the counter was helpful.My date and I got a chai latte and a cortado. Both were good, and we enjoyed them. We unfortunately have not yet tried the food items, but they sound good. As I remember, they have some breakfast sandwiches, and danishes.The mugs that we used were made by a Kalamazoo ceramics company which I believe is in the basement of this building. In the coffee shop they have store merchandise, like pins, mugs, shirts, and more. They also have things made by the ceramics place.Conclusion: if you like coffee, breakfast, and small business, why not come here?

Before anything else, a coffeehouse needs to get one thing right, the coffee. Factory coffee nailed it. Great espresso, full tasting cappuccino, and a barista that knew what he was doing. Add in the historic building and associated ceramic studio, this is one of the best places in Kalamazoo area to get your coffee kick.

A unique little coffee shop that serves delicious coffee drinks. It’s a destination place that you have to search out, as it’s definitely off the beaten path and hard to find. You aren’t going to drive by it as you’re out doing your daily errands. The barista was knowledgeable and friendly as he gave me descriptions of the two drinks I tried.

Great atmosphere in an old building, lots of light and warm wood, industrial features throughout. Very hipstery, solid coffee and food choices.

The coffee was decent, but take it to go. The building smells of mold and BO. Very dirty and needs a good cleaning.

This is THE coffee shop I was looking for as a newcomer to Kalamazoo. So much better than the big chain shops. Just wish they were open earlier on Saturdays.

Super nice baristas, great space indoors and out. Little books to study in, big tables to play board games on. Outdoors has a chalk board and patio furniture.And the coffee is always stellar!

Great vibe, terrific baristas, and now they roast with a zero- emission roaster. Boss drinking coffee out of those Grayling Pottery mugs they make downstairs!

Factory Coffee has Aweome coffee, cider, and eats! Better than any chain. We asked them to cater our speciality event and even hosting our guests before we departed to another location. Looking forward to next time!

Came in after a feed on Facebook looking for a coffee place near by where I am moving, Great Staff, and really an amazing building. Excited to see the place grow. Was really happy to see a bit of home near my new home.

We were just there! The friendly barista made the best iced caramel latte I’ve ever had. Also, this is a super cute place situated in the middle of a neighborhood. What a treat for these neighbors!

Great coffee/variety - location is nicely tucked away in the neighborhood, away from the downtown hustle. The guy working there was very friendly! Will return, and will bring friends! Highly recommend.

Americana was smooth and very uplifting enjoyed the experience and the details of the interior felt very cozy and friendly which was a warm welcome compared to some of the other places Ive been to in this area.

This place has a lot going for it. Delicious coffee, several different workspaces and types of furniture, a very chill vibe, and some delicious and very reasonably priced food items to hold you over. The Wi-Fi was also super fast. Definitely a good work spot.
