We have taken our two mowers to Taylors for 17 years and have never had a problem with them. They have always be cordial and polite. We always have good conversations with them and they have always had our mowers ready in a decent amount time. We will continue to take our equipment to their shop.

Worst service ever! I took my mower in to get a new blade and have them check the drive train. They added in a tune-up and some other work without my knowledge. The bill was over $200 and when I complained that they had performed work I didnt ask for, the owner told me that he had written it down exactly as I had asked. They had given me a work order to sign without letting me read it, and told me I was just signing that I had left a $40 deposit. When I complained that they did work I did not ask for, the owner yelled at me and hung up on me. This place used to be great with the former owner, but now clearly has completely gone down hill. I used to recommend them to everyone I knew and that definitely wont be happening again!

Another outstanding purchase at Taylors. Their prices are competitive with anyone in town and the service is over the top. I have been a customer there since the 1960s and have always found their honesty, integrity and service to be of the highest standards. They will always be there when you need them and the history proves that. Buy local and support local business.

I brought in my mower for repair and was told that the issues it was having were common and that it would take no longer than a week before I could come get it back. I left a $35 deposit behind and was told I would receive a call when it was completed. Ten days later, I called to check on the status of the repair and was told “week and a half” and that they would call before abruptly being hung up on. After two weeks had passed I called. Again, I dealt with someone with a short temper that acted like I was an interruption. He looked up my information and said that the mower was ready, that it had been for several days and that they were sure they called and left a message that must have never gotten to me. I went directly to the shop to pick it up only to find out that my “cheap Chinese motor” would be far too expensive for them to fix and that I should just buy a new one. My $35 deposit would also be forfeited for all of their diligent work. Feeling defeated and scammed, I pushed the mower outside to my car. Along the short walk I heard the clinking and clanking of loose parts falling off that must have not been secured after being taken apart. Save yourself the time and headache and go to someone who is competent and does not treat their customers as a nuisance.

Taylor service is great! I appreciate their friendly professionalism and love that they are locally owned and not some big not-caring box store.

Rude, slow, and expensive. We dropped our two year old Cub Cadet mower off at the beginning of the season because of carburetor issues. They charged $30 up front to look at it, had it for 3 weeks, and charged ~$100 or so for the repairs. It ran once before dying again. We took it back for them to fix it again, and they wanted another $40 in deposit before they would look at it. It took another three weeks to get it back. They tried to say we had run it without oil (we had changed the oil at the beginning of the season, so this is nonsense). Another $150 or so to pick it up after they did an oil change and replaced the coil. We mowed about a quarter of an acre (half the lawn) before it died for good - the head was warped.As near as we can figure out, they drained the oil to work on it and did not refill it. We hadnt checked because why would it be empty right after it was repaired? They were incredibly rude when being asked about repair timelines or basic maintenance. With the amount of money we spent in repairs, we could have purchased a decent new mower and saved ourselves the headache of dealing with these crooks. Stay far away!

I like this place because they help me understand how to better care for and operate my equipment. Super job repairing my mower, power washer, chain saws! Make this your small engine go to place.

I would rate their skill at repairing small engines as satisfactory. But the owner is very rude. I had a snowblower in his shop for three weeks in 2017. I called to check on the status and he was very curt. Told me not call him, he would call me.I will not go back there.

I have been using Taylor for many years. They are trustworthy, pricing is reasonable and I get my equipment back in a reasonable amount of time. I Highly Recommend them.

I cant speak for the work they do, as I repair my equipment myself. I have tried 3 different times to buy random parts from them as they are very close to where I live. I have been treated poorly every single time. They wont even look up to see if they have a part in stock over the phone. They are Seriously lacking customer service skills. I wont judge if someone is rude once, as they could have just had a really bad day, but 3 times in a row proves to me they just dont care.

Horrible service. They had my mower for about two months... for a tune up. When I would call they would never be able to tell me what was happening with the mower so I went in just to get it back. Then they promised to finish it within a week so I have another week went and picked it up paid enough money to have purchased a cheap NEW mower to get it home and have it die in the first day of using it. I was so upset at that point I put the old mower by the road and went to buy a new one at Lowes. Do not go here if you want good honest affordable service. Waist of time and money. NEGATIVE STARS!

Last year we called Taylor Lawnmower for service on our tractor and mower for seasonal service. We had a misunderstanding with them and went elsewhere. They sent us a letter sincerely apologizing, which I though was very nice. Not only did they do that, but they offered a complimentary pick-up should we want their service in the future.This season we chose them and they did a wonderful job on both our mower and tractor. They went out of their way to explain about what they did when they did the seasonal tune up, which I feel is essential to a customer. I ended up getting ill and admitted to the hospital for several days, which prevented them from delivering our things to us. They never bothered us about this inconvenience of having to store our mower and tractor, not knowing I was ill. I would recommend Taylor Lawnmower to anyone needing service on their summer needs.

I have taken both my snowblower and my Toro Lawnmower to Taylors for years and have always been very satisfied with their service. Last week I took my lawnmower in for repairs and a tune up and they did excellent work. Now the lawnmower works like a dream once again. I recommend them highly for honest, prompt and courteous service!

Took my Craftsman lower mower into Taylors and they did an excellent job on the repair. The worst place ever for service!!!! I bought a a brand new riding lawnmower less than a year ago from tractor supply. My battery went out so I went to the store and bought a new one. I used the mower once afterwards, and then it wouldnt start again. I called my warranty co. and they called this company to pick up my lawnmower for service. They kept my lawnmower for over a week, and then charged $105 for a new battery!!! The owner is one of the most Rudest, Meanest, most Disrespectful pieces of insanity that Ive ever dealt with. He yelled and screamed at me, as well as the rep from the Tractor Supply store and held my lawnmower hostage for 8 days. I pray my lawnmower comes back in the same condition. Beware of this fool!

They may be a little hole in the wall but the staff are knowledgeable and they have a good price on parts. I bought a part there that was $40 when everywhere else the same part was going for $50

DO NOT take anything to Taylors. They kept my mower for 3 weeks just to change belts! First the owner told me a week to week and a half...that came and went and then it was 2 weeks...that came and went and the it was 3 weeks. I finally got my mower back and they charged me almost $300.00 for 3 belts. Horrible customer service... lying to customers and over charging...great way to run a business. If I could give them negative number, I would. I bought both a Toro mower from them many years ago, later a large Toro 2 stage snow blower, and always had Taylor service them. Later moved into a condo so gave items to relatives. The mower needed service, plug replacement so I offered to pick up part from Taylor. They told me which plug I needed and I purchased it from. Later found I got the wrong plug. Tried to return it and they denied that I purchased it there, even though they remembered me, and refused to return my money, even though I previously had spent probably +/- $1,000 there, between purchases and service. Review my comments, and those above before you think about dealing with TAYLOR!

Thanks taylor, I wish I had found you sooner.I have been using taylor for three years now. For me they come the same day pick up what I need to be service. Very knowledgeable. As a small business owner myself, I recognize the hard work it takes. And they show it. You also can take your equipment to them yourself. Yes there may be a charge for them to look at it, but that also may be applied tords you finally bill. Asks questions, they want you to. I always ask how can I prevent this from happening again. They tell you. Like I said Im a small business owner myself, and you cant make every one happy. But I love what I do and I can tell so do they. I wish I would of found Taylors sooner. Im thinking of possible even looking at some of there used equipment theyre selling on the floor at there service centre. Or even calling them before I invest money on equipment for what brand they would recommend . Because they would know before I would, and they would be the ones I would be taken it to.Thanks againBrian McIntyre

Beware of the owner. He is rude and treats his customers with no respect. He charges $2 for the paper work when I withdrew the work order. He does not keep his promise of completing the repair. I was second on the row 4 days ago and today I was placed fourth. This was unacceptable. Or he may be a racist!When placed a complained to Business Bureau he did not respond to them. That shows how much he cares for his customers. He is a jerk! DR Power recommended to give my pull behind brush hog and I refused to go to this place. Thank God they did read out this places name.Consider Steensmas who are professional and keep their word.

Terrible customer service, owner is a seriously unpleasant man, and just so everyone knows, the $35 deposit is actually a diagnostic fee which you wont get back. They told me my trimmer was totaled and when I asked for the deposit back, it magically turned into a fee. Screw these people, had I known they would have charged me half of what it costs to buy a new trimmer I would have never stepped into their sh*tty store. DO NOT GO HERE, DONT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO DECIEVING LIARS!!!!!

Gave them my JD riding mower deck with bad bearings, a bad spindle, bad blades, and a bad belt on Tue and got it back on Fri. Very fair price for everything too.

Service was very poor I only stopped in to but 2 cycle oil and it took a long time for anybody to come to the counter to cash me out and when they did it seemed like it was a burden I wont be back

My father went there for repair. The owner of the store did not repair and charged $2 to withdraw the order. Wow! He did not help to load the machine when my father asked him for help. My father was on crutches then from knee surgery!
