What a hidden gem of a book store! My husband and I drove all the way to Katy Mills from Tomball because we do not like the malls in our area. We stopped in Books-A-Million because neither of us can ever pass up a book store. They had a wonderful clearance section with wonderful deals, and their book selection was great! I was very impressed. They also have great novelty items revolving around the literature that fills their shelves. We will make the drive again just to go to this store. A Plus and well done!!

Please be aware of some free magazine promo that they are trying to get you into. I didn’t know of the catch until I signed up for it and true enough I was automatically subscribed to the yearly subscription and the fees was automatically charged to my credit card when you paid for your books purchase there. I feel that I’ve been scammed that my credit card details was being shared by a third party I didn’t authorized! The cashier didn’t mention anything about the auto subscription fees! I had to call up and get the subscription canceled!

I love books a million, and have been coming to this location since I was a little kid. True their books are a little over priced compared to somewhere like half price books or even Amazon, but it’s in a good location with a good selection.Only giving it 2/5 because one of the employees was absolutely horrible to interact with. Went this past Sunday and their were only two check outs, and the line was well past 15 people. It was hardly even moving. The interaction I had with a women with very short colored hair was very unprofessional. I’m not one to usually run to make reviews because I get it, it’s a part time job mostly. But when I say “no” to donating a book and she replied with “is that’s yes or a no” in a tone, then to get shamed for saying “no” is humiliating. To say “no” to signing up for a membership and she still gave a 5min talk on enrolling for it, no wonder the line was taking so long. And looked annoyed when I still said no. Then before I checked out started an argument with someone way over in the line because they crossed a line by a few inches, so I had to wait even longer and those people in line ended up leaving because of her.Just ridiculous to be treated that way.

Its not a complete road trip unless I get to stop at a book store. Stopped on 5/11. This one is always a favorite stop when going to and from Houston. (We dont have BAM in Austin - can you do something about that?) The store is conveniently located just inside the #2 mall entrance, with a food court near by. Always a clean and neat store, lots of bargain books to explore and magazines that go across 2 + walls in the back of the store! Had friendly check out. Over hearing banter between employees while I shopped, it sounds like a great place to work.

Love this book store. It is a great place to come and get lost for an hour or so. There is so much there. It makes gift giving so easy. I was there shopping for a birthday gift. The book I wanted is hard to find. It wasnt there, but I found a devotional journal very close to it. Went home happy.

Usually has what were looking for. Has a much bigger selection of manga than B&N they also have the option of buying old books back and selling second hand copies. Overall great store 👌. Also if Im not mistaken I do believe there membership program is cheaper than B&N aswell

Nice and quiet place, even though it is in the mall. Alot of options for books, magazines, calendars, etc.

They dont honor their own price tags. Look around, stand in line (zero social distancing rules, yay!), wait to get served, then they charge you extra at the counter. Happens at a frequency that it seems to be a strategy. This is just a waste of your time. Back to Amazon where you see what you get charged, not this kind of silly pricing lottery.

Great selection of books massive store. Customer service was great. My only complaint is the way the books are organized. Seems to be sporadic and not in alphabetical order by author in sections. Which is frustrating when searching for a book.

Well organized indoor play area for children, bouncing equipment for toddlers and older children. Also have rooms for birthday parties. Prices are reasonable. My only criticism is that it is quite dark inside. They also have arcade games

Love this place! Been coming here for years and Ive never been disappointed. Their fiction section is awesome and their manga selection seems to grow every time I go there. I also love that little t-shirt display they have in the back. I cant tell you how much Ive spent there, but every dollar was worth it.

Great place to find literature on any topic. The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable, and are friendly enough to discuss different book series with you if they have an interest in or have read what you are purchasing.

Great selection of everything from books to toys to role playing games. Lots of other merch to choose from. Had a great conversation with a staff member about a mutual interest (Star Wars). The only thing keeping me from dropping 5 stars is they didnt have my book in stock.Great store. Will definitely go back.

Didnt see any anime DVDs. Also need to carry auto books. Some people are blind and cant pick up a book and read for themselves.

Always a good place to go for books and gifts. Unfortunately they do not enforce any kind of social distancing. There are 6ft apart stickers on the floor for the check out but thats it. They do not limit or control the amount of people that are in the store at one time.

They have a wide variety of books which you can choose from to purchase. They have them very neatly divided by genre and have quite a variety of other products related to some of the top-selling titles. I definitely recommend it to check it out if youre in need of some books or gifts. They got from magazines to manga, kids books to horror, and cooking books to some nice romance. Staff was nice and helpful!

I was so excited to receive my book. I even received 15% off. Unfortunately, I didnt know that discount meant they could ship it anytime they wanted. Yes! Its almost been a month and I still havent received my order. Had to wait for an unreasonable amount of time to speak with customer service to explain the problem, twice. Still havent received a shipping notification. Needless to say Im just praying I get my book and wont order from here again.

I hope they are able to remain open. Bookstores are hard to find with all the technology at your finger tips

Great selection of books. Started coming here because there was no B&N close by. Now, its become the first bookstore I go to when looking for new books to read. Definitely live up to their name! Only downside is they dont offer many older books from what Ive seen. Been looking for more Anne Mccaffrey books for a while but I didnt see any at their store.
