This just had to be one of those days of a lifetime. When I stopped by it was mainly to get pricing. I figured I would need to plan ahead to make an appointment. I was wrong! Not only was I wrong, I was shocked. The guys were friendly and funny (at least to me). They spent a lot of time explaining the tint differences and shades. I didnt feel pressured or uncomfortable. It actually put me in a good mood.And!! I had my car back in record time. It felt like it did when you were picked first in kickball.Already contemplating Eggos next upgrade. Thanks guys for being so much fun. And by the way. Learn how to drive a stick young man!! (:

This company does a very poor job and over charges. Both Hyper Audio, and Hyper Audio 2 are the same company. The owner told me that Google reviews do not matter, but i am posting this and am taking them to the BBB and filing a complaint.

Went here to get an install for subwoofers taken care of, and was disappointed. I’m sure they can handle kickers and stuff, but when it comes to higher end things, I would advise going elsewhere. I had an LC2i that I know works, and this place couldn’t even get it hooked up right and work, when I looked at it, they had the wires in the wrong ports. They also couldn’t manage to figure out one of my coils for my subs had burned up and they were running at the wrong ohm. Like I said, if you want a budget friendly system, I’m sure this place can handle it, but anything other than that, I strongly recommend going elsewhere.

Horrible!! Overpriced. Went in there to get underglow installed on my car, got charged $250. I leave and a day later the lights won’t work and they would not connect to my bluetooth. I called the guy and he told me that it must be a faulty kit and that I should replace it. I took it to my mechanic and he showed me what they did. They basically threw all the cables in there all tangled, no wonder my bluetooth would not connect. They also left a hole on the bottom of my car in which water can enter. Would not recommend this place. Horrible service at a high price.

PERFECT!!! I have had every car Ive owned Windows tinted and have never been as pleased with the quality of the finished product as I am right now. They are fast and reasonably priced. NO BUBBLES!!! Thats right smooth and streak free. If you are looking for a great looking tint job look no further. I was leary because it looks like a hole in the wall type of business and its got a small lot. Dont be fooled! Its big time quality trust me Im a fanatic about my cars.

Purchased aftermarket driving lights for our 2017 Nissan Pathfinder and asked Hyper Tint & Audio to install. They provided an estimate and explained what was involved (more labor intensive than I thought). They completed the installation on time and at the price quoted. Everything is solidly in place and works great. Highly recommend doing business with this company.

I was very disappointed with the their customer service over the phone. The person who answered the phone was unapologetically not helpful when I called about one of his previous installs. He seems to be one of those guys that you would dread to have a conversation with because he stays on the defensive and does not listen. I certainly would never want to go back for any service after a sale. Apparently they have very little record keeping because he was unable (or unwilling) to help me lookup his install in order for me to find the model. The most unprofessional aspect was when he shouted the F word loudly over the phone about something that happened in his shop. When I told him we were done, He ended his call by just hanging up with no goodbyes. He did not even extend the courtesy of apologizing for shouting the F bomb in my ear or not being of any help. Super Bad experience. I would never have work done at this place.

Probably the best place in my opinion to take a vehicle to get great aftermarket stereo equipment put in their vehicle of any type. The great work is also accompanied by awesome customer service. Been going to them for ages and as long as they are in business only place I will go or refer people to to get work done.

Got a new vehicle after mine flooded in the recent storms here in Houston, however it didnt have any tint and I knew in the Texas summer that I would have to get some ASAP!! Took it over to Hyper Tint and they got it taken care of in a day and did an amazing job!! Very very happy with the speed and quality of everything. I highly recommend this place for tinting your vehicle!

Worst place I have ever gone. At first service was great but my husband was promised to have grills put on his speakers. And we got the run around. First the grills were coming in a week, then they got the wrong size to wait another week. After that story didnt work the owner stopped answering the phone and whenever we went up to the place he was never available. After 2 months of trying, needless to say we had to call our bank to get our money back. Ridiculous will never go back and will tell everyone I know never to go there. Sad service!!!!

They got the tint job done. But any other tint service shop could have done just as good of a job and better. Better because their customer service is lacking. I was told the job would take 2 hours. It took 3. I was told theyd call when it was ready. They didnt. I called and whoever answered said theyd call back. They didnt. I simply showed up and the vehicle was just sitting at the shop. Job done but no phonecall. So, who knows when it was actually ready. I asked an employee to take a listen to the sound system and let me know what he recommends for improvements and he never did. I called and asked for the guy who said hed give me options for the sound system and whoever answered the phone said hed call me back and of course. They never did. They lost my business. Someone else will get my money. Their loss. I dont recommend this business for anything. Absolutely nothing.

(LITERALLY) UNBELIEVABLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! ZERO STARS. I had complete tint jobs competed on 2 vehicles here. After several weeks, the tint on the rear window on one of the vehicles began producing numerous large bubbles throughout. When I purchased the tint, I was sold a lifetime warranty on the tint. I brought my vehicle into the store last Saturday to have my tint fixed on my rear window, under warranty. The man at the counter informed me that they were very busy that day, and to return the following Saturday (today) at opening. According to their Google page, they open at 10am, so I arrived shortly before 10am this morning to have my tint fixed (as instructed previously). Upon arrival, Mike (who refused to give me his name), looked at my tint and stated, These bubbles arent from our tint. Our tint doesnt bubble like this. I informed Mike that this was their tint (showing him my warranty, proof of purchase AND printed receipt), and while I heard what he was saying, this is the situation and I would like to have the warranty (which I paid for) honored. Mike went on to tell me, basically, and in these words, that Saturday is the busiest day and there are new customers that he would be serving before taking care of my warranty issue. Mike told me that he would not repair my tint. I reminded him that I had followed their instructions from the previous Saturday, and brought my car back at opening today. Mike refuted, We opened at 9 today, which I replied that it says online (and when you call and speak to an employee) that they open at 10am. Mike was now becoming increasingly aggressive and unprofessional. Soon another new customer walked up, to which Mike simply walked away from me to help them. When I said something, he continued to tell me that there were new customers taking precedence over my issue. We ended up back inside the store, where I CONTINUOUSLY requested not only the contact number for the owner, but also the owners name so I could contact him and file a complaint. Mike refused to provide me with either. I asked for the owners business card. Mike gave me a card - I called the number on it, and it rang to Mikes personal cell phone right there in the store. Mike proceeded to tell me that he was not going to just drop everything [he] is doing and take care of [me]. I reminded him that I have not asked that at any time; that I had already came by last Saturday and was following the instructions given, to stop by at opening today to have my tint fixed. By this time, Mike involved the new customer in the store, to which she replied, I am very uncomfortable. Mike told me to bring my car back at 3pm and drop it off for 4-6 hours and included, But you have to leave. I do not want to see your face in this store. I told Mike that he can not legally tell me to leave the store while I am waiting for my vehicle, simply because he doesnt like me. Again, Mike began working up a new deal with his new customer, turning his back to me, and still refusing to give me the name and/or contact number for the owner of the store. I looked the business up online and found another telephone number, this one ringing to a man named David. I explained the situation to David, who had no problem providing me with the name of the owner. He took my name and phone number and told me that the owner would be contacting me. I have still heard nothing. Absolutely horrible business practices. Mike made me feel physically unsafe and threatened. I am still shocked at the complete lack of professionalism and consideration this company has for existing customers. I felt so unsafe that I wondered if the police would need to intervene at some point. Mike needs to be educated on how to act, communicate and represent the business which he is working for

Ladies avoid this place please. In a span of 30 minutes, the price of services changed 3 times. Owner tried to scare me into purchasing more parts. Tech began to work on truck without listening to me then tried to overcharge me for the labor as well as $100 for a $20 speaker and $30 for what I know to be a $7 - 9 part. He also told me that one speaker was bad and needed to buy a new one. What he did not know nor expect is that I had tested the speakers the night before. When I declined and decided to leave - the fake friendliness went out the window. Manager walked away while I was asking to wrap things up and get clarity on the pricing. Then he slammed my doors in anger while speaking to me like I was a child. Later, the tech began talking about me in Spanish. He did not realize that I understand and speak Spanish :) A male would not have been treated in the same manner. I will not return to nor recommend this business because of their dishonesty, bullying and POOR customer service.

Liars and cheatsCall before I went into this place and asked him how much it would be to get my 97 Camry tinted with tint removal they tell me 150 so I took the car and dropped it off they tell me to pick it backup 3 and a 1/2 hours later I said OK so I showed up card has not been moved nobody even came out to look at the car when I dropped it off I just handed the keys in waited outside for my ride to pick me up.When I arrive to pick the car up I asked what happened and I was told that sorry we didnt have time to work on it and I replied why didnt anybody call me the guy looked at me and said I dont know so I called the owner and complained and while complaining was told that to bring it back tomorrow and they would tenant for 250 they were going to charge extra $100 just to remove the old 10 and that their quality of 10 is more then anywhere else which is BS so long story short I took my car to the flea market paid a $130 they took off the old 10 and put on brand new tent and it looks great dont waste your time in money at this location

All of my vehicles that Ive had have been brought here at some point. Hyper does a great job installing and setting up all the equipment you get. I went in a couple days ago to get a new sound system in my truck and its the best Ive ever had plus I was in and out in no time. Everything was installed nicely and correct.

I definitely recommend hyper audio. They tinted my car Windows really quick and precise. No problems whatsoever. And the price is false of what they advertise. They advertise says $59.00 but its $30 per window. But you get what you pay for.

I just recently moved to the Katy area and I needed an audio shop that could give me some advice on my new boat. I called several audio shops in the Houston and Katy area and couldnt find someone knowledgeable in car or marine audio that either wasnt trying to get into my pockets or just had no clue what they were talking about. My experience was frustrating and I decided to make my way up to a store that was recommended to me by a mutual friend. I had heard of the store once before but didnt bother to give them a chance. I called HYPER AUDIO and spoke with an salesman that I didnt think new much of what he was talking about since I had told him that I had a supra and he began to tell me that supra were his favorite cars from the 90s. I immediately jumped to a conclusion and thought this guy has no idea what he is talking about and here I go again. After a few seconds he paused and asked what I wanted to to do to my vehicle, I sarcastically said that it was not a car and that I would call him later. He replied politely I thank you for calling Hyper Audio and if you are ever in need for a tint, audio for your golf cart or for your boat, please feel free to call me even if you dont do business with us, I will help you make a decision that will make your toy sound the best without throwing thousands of dollars down the drain. I immediately asked him if he had ever worked on a Supra boat and his response was yes sir what would you like to do to it. He knew the boat very well, exactly what amplifier and speakers the boat had in it from the dealership. He obviously was very familiar with the the boat and recommended what equipment to install. Rafael at Hyper Audio was extremely professional, knowledgeable and sold me the proper product that I needed for my new boat. I highly recommend Hyper Audio, I went to a few high end marine audio shops that were VERY HIGH in price and definitely no where near as knowledgeable or experience as Rafael. My boat sounds fantastic, I mean really, really good. I save thousands of dollars and the outcome was magnificent. I also had him install a hideaway radar detector in my sports car, $920 less than the previous audio shop.Thanks to all the staff at Hyper Audio, great job guys!!!

From the start gave me prices and tips and ideas. Wanted to do it the next day they drove out and picked up the vehicle because my wife had to work that day and worked late to get it done. They also drove the vehicle back to my house later that night when I was expecting to get it the next day! Took time and went over how it all worked in my drive way! Great place and great people!!! Highly recommen!!

Ive been going to Hyper Audio for several years, and have had nothing but amazing service! They have installed a new stereo and subs in my sons car, and a new stereo and speakers in my car, and both of us have been extremely happy. They are personable, knowledgeable and dependable, and Ive shopped around enough to know that theyre giving me a good deal. Raphael has become my go-to guy whenever I have any kind of question about my car--even if its totally unrelated to Hyper Audio services, I know he will give me good advice about what I need and where to go to get quality work. We consider Hyper Audio part of the family now!

Ive had numerous things done to my car at hyper audio and have had a wonderful experience every time. The staff is made up of a group of guys that truly care about the customer. Their work is always quick and efficient and i have had absolutely no problems with anything they have done for me. I always know i can count on hyper audio for basically all my car troubles. The man in charge is really a special character who is outgoing when it comes to providing the essintials for a customers problem and treating them with the utmost respect while they are there. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get audio work or other things done to their car.

Hyper Audio gave me an amazing selection for the money I was wanting to spend, they also made the installation very quick and unnoticable. The clean installation surprises every person that rides in my truck and also makes it look like it came from the dealership. My custom Center Console box with a two tone leather finish matches my interior perfectly. The sound is also crystal clear and exactly what i wanted. For every after-market sound system I have had, this is by far the best and I am definitely coming back if I get a new car.

Hyper Audio takes the award for the worst experience I have ever had at a car audio shop. I gave them four days to complete the simple task of tinting 4 windows and fixing 2 speakers that were shorting out.I dropped my truck off on a Tuesday and picked it up on a Friday even though they werent done. They kept saying, just give us until tomorrow and well have it finished. They also kept complaining about how difficult my truck was to work on (its a late 80s Chevrolet truck) which should have been a red flag that they were a bunch of clowns, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. They also told me they had looked at the speakers and the speakers were blown and would have to be replaced (which was a lie). When I picked it up on Friday afternoon the window tinting was partially completed (only 3 windows done) and I could tell the speaker issue had not even been touched. It was at that time I decided to cut my losses, pay for the completed work, and just fix the speakers myself as I needed the truck for the weekend. I ended up finding one speaker shorting out on the metal dash where it was mounted and after that was corrected the speakers worked fine.The guy at the front desk seems knowledgeable but likes to feed your ego and make you feel good about the shop. I would hate to see an actual full install done by Hyper Audio and would be even more worried about the time frame if it takes them 4 days to just tint three windows.Bottom line is that I was lied to on the phone and very unimpressed by their business practices.Dont waste your time or money by going here.

These guys did a fantastic job installing the Panasonic stereo in my car.They also helped install a rear view camera linked to the same and went out of their way to re-wire the same at no extra cost (the old wiring, apparently was faulty). I would highly recommend them.

Hyper Audio 2? Good thing Im one of the first people to review this place. Hyper audio is a terrible company. They will tear your car up unless you buy everything from their store. Dont go here unless youre Roger Clemens son, because hes the only person ive seen with a nice set up from here, and he probably paid $20,000 for a couple subs

They got me what I wanted (single-din head unit casing) but it took WAY too long and the customer service was absolutely pitiful. I was told at least 5 times that it would be in the following day and time after time Rafael would apologize saying he forgot the keys to the back storage or his driver would bring the wrong head unit casing. I had a terrible experience dealing with them and would definitely recommend taking business elsewhere.

SO glad that i found them in katy! They really know their car and truck audio. They went WAY out of their way to make sure that I got the sound system that I wanted for my truck. My 10 subs hit so hard and rattle my truck..... Takes me back to my younger years! Thank you Hyper Audio.....you guys have me for LIFE!

Im not happy with my service. I had my windows tinted here and now there are bubbles. I have been trying to get them to fix this problem but getting nowhere. I wasted my money. I came in with a problem with my head unit that was installed at the other place. They were booked, but still found time to fit me in. He found the problem and corrected it. Knowledgeable staff and very accommodating.

I highly recommend Hyper Audio, They have dont such an amazing job on my car installing all DB Drive hardware which sounds better then I have ever heard in a car. They are extremely precise on what audio is installed in a car and the guys like to take their time doing it so it looks and sounds great with the addition of lasting a longer time. Everyone at Hyper Audio is nice and explains everything that you need to know including the low prices. I am very happy to have my car fully loaded from tweaters to subwoofers because of Hyper Audio! excellent job!!!!

Contacted this location today to schedule an appointment for window tinting. The website states that the price is $59.00. The guy that answered the phone stated that THEY WOULDNT HONOR THE PRICE THAT WAS QUOTED ON THE WEBSITE He explained that the pricing was from 2009. Well if you dont want to honor certain prices maybe you should take them off the site. Im sure that THEY was him. You may provide excellent service but not honoring posted prices is a no no with me. I probably would have scheduled an appointment if was just a little bit more interested in providing a service to me.

S.O.B., very lazy staff. Self-centered management. Do not expect inexpensive or high quality gear. Oh and you better have a lot free time to waste because nothing gets done on time, Nothing! I have a huge mess of stains on all my seats and all they can say about it was it was all ready there. They want to charge me $1,200.00 for the windows and backup cameras( not to be installed mind you). Buyers beware.

Horrible service. Can never get a straight answer from these guys. I set an appointment and made the arrangements to drop off my vehicle and when I showed up the appointment wasnt set and I was given a list of excuses like my car isnt compatible (without looking at my car), I set the appointment with the wrong person (like that was my fault), they are already booked up, and and my favorite was they might or might not be able to do the car to just leave it with them. Horrible experience........

They quickly installed my tint job. However, after only a few months, the newly installed tint (5%) turned purple. I know of people with walmart tint that hasnt gone purple after 2 years. Its like their tint job never happened because I have to go to a different shop and pay to get done what they already should have done. Waste of money, wont be recommending anybody

Technician did awesome job with tint. Found owner to be very dishonest and trying to get over on me. Guy is a fast talker and will try to overcharge for services. There is no price list posted so he just throws out numbers especially if you are a female that dosent know better. Then he will forget the price he tells you then act as if he is giving u a deal when actually now he is giving u the correct price. He acted as if he forgot that I prepaid for a service and acted that he forgot what we discussed and trying to double charge me..Good thing I still had receipt. I will never return or recommed this place. I also hate dishonest men that try to take advantage of females.

First of all, their prices change from day to day. No co-ordination whatsoever between the people working there. Second of all, they have the worst customer interaction and service Ive ever seen. They talk to you while theyre on their smartphone and not even care to look at you. Avoid.

Purchased a Pioneer Radio/GPS system from them. Had nothing but problems with the unit. Taken it to them 2 times to fix but still have problems. Recently found out that the radio is constantly draining my battery. Cost me the price of a new battery before I found out it was the radio causing the problem. Also found out through Pioneer that since they are not an authorized dealer, the 1 year warranty is invalid. It will cost me $80 just to have Pioneer look at it, plus the cost of shipping and repair. I spent $900 for a piece of junk that I cant use. Will never use them again.

I had an installation done in my 2013 F150 back in early 2014 and I had to take my truck back into the shop three times (ultimately had to take my truck to another shop to have the work corrected). The first night when I took my truck home I found out that the head unit did not turn off when I turned my truck off. The second time was due to the radio no longer pushing out any sound. The explanation for this was I blew out the speakers because I had set the graphical EQ incorrectly. The volume had never been turned up louder than 16 out of 40. The third time my automatic windows would not go down because some of the wiring was obstructing the path.When I took my truck to Houston Car Stereo, they found that the installers at Hyper Audio had used a Metra wiring kit for a Scoche dash unit which had caused my steering wheel controls not to work. They also secured a wire to the tweeter that had been banging around inside the passenger door for years.

Never felt more disrespected.Terrible Customer Service!Bad Placement of Location(Hard to Find & No Parking)The Problem I came for:I had a couple of old subwoofers my friends dad gave me for helping him move. I was trying to get information on these to see what to do with them, since I cant find any information online. If I was to sell them, then I would shop at my buddys store. If I was to keep them, I would buy an amp & let them install. It was to SUPPORT them and at the same time BENEFIT me (since they closed the store my buddy was in).The Story:I got inside the shop(couldnt see the hidden entrance) I was greeted by a good man from the original Hyper Audio.His background with me:He guided through setting my tweeters up.I told him I pulled a stock amp & sub from the junker and that eventually would return for an upgrade, so he told me as much as he could and let me dyi. Very satisfied customer.Back to Story:My buddy guides me to the entrance. I walk in and are neither greeted nor looked at. I talked to the guy who at least responded to my, Hello, but he redirects me to the guy who seems to be in charge. I tell him Im trying to see what to do with the speakers. He glanced at the picture and said, yeah we can install that. He obviously didnt listen and I was reaffirmed that he didnt when he refused to even look at me when I spoke. Not only that, but I got cut off mid sentence TWICE while I was talking. I asked him what I should get, why and whats the best, latest (since Im no expert in Audio and I dont know what to work for.) He looked at me like I was stupid and left me in silence for at least 2 minutes. Then again I asked, whats your best, and he repeated, depending on your budget. I was interrupted again when he started talking to the other guy on the front desk like I wasnt even there. I asked him to teach me a little bit since I didnt have much understanding of the audio industry, to which he contested me with, I dont have the time to be giving out lessons. Thats when I said, Alright Thanks, and he replied with, No problem. Let me know.My View:If youre going to be in the front counter, help your possible customers. Dont ignore your damm clients. Pay attention to them. If youre too busy then why would your other friend at the counter redirect me to you? It makes it seem like you dont know what youre doing when you do things like you did.Maybe you were never taught any manners, but as a business man you should know better. Like dont you want my money???If youre not happy with your job find something that makes you happy man because you are one of the biggest grouch Ive ever seen.These other low reviews seem to follow up with my experience as well.No one is going to come here if this doesnt change and could lead to the shutdown of a 2nd Hyper Audio Store.If you need more feedback on how you could improve just let me know through a reply. Ill gladly teach you something, even with my booked schedule because thats what humanity strives for, improvement.I hope the best for my buddy, but Im never making business with these people again.

I have looked around houston, and all over katy just for a nice buisness with good quality, someone i can trust to do the job right. Hyper audio has been there to give me fair pricing on anything i wanted, i have been coming to hyper audio for years now not only for the outstanding customer service, but for the wide range of options that are given to me.
