I made a terrible mistake... is what Id be thinking if I never met Nick Keller at Fitness Unlimited. I was ready to buy a Horizon 7.8 treadmill from Horizon directly. Reviews were decent enough and the specs seemed promising on paper. Thankfully, I noticed Horizon had a Find a store option that lets you find stores that sell their equipment and I found Fitness Unlimited.I went there early morning and went inside. I asked the salesperson, Nick, if I can try the Horizon 7.8 and he showed me to it. I asked his opinion about it and he told me his honest thoughts and showed me much better options at the same price point. I tried it out myself nonetheless and while it might be alright albeit overpriced for walkers or casual runners, its simply junk for serious runners. At 7MPH and above it shakes like an earthquake and the venerated quick change dials are so flimsy you cant rely on them to make accurate adjustments while running. I would have ended up with serious buyers remorse if I had never gone to Fitness Unlimited.Nick showed me many different, much better options and let me freely try them out and helped me compare them until I ultimately chose one I liked. He gave me a price on a superior treadmill way better than was advertised despite there being no indication it was on sale. The delivery was quick, and the machine arrived as promised and its excellent. If I or anyone else I know needs help with fitness equipment, we now know to find Nick at Fitness Unlimited.

We went here to look for a water rower for my parents. Nick was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about all of the equipment and let us try whatever he had on the floor. He showed us different models of equipment online and, although he sent us to a sister-store because he did not have the exact model we were looking for on-hand, we knew exactly what to ask for. Nick spent over an hour and a half with us, patiently answering all of our questions and was great with my 2 year old niece who wanted to touch everything (he even gave her a balloon). Excellent customer service and we will be back for all of our fitness equipment needs.

Went there to look at used equipment. They have none. Their bikes start at $1800 and I had to ask to see that. They started me off at $3000 which they referred to as mid priced. I sold high end stereo equipment for 10 years in Houston and I always gave a new customer a range of prices and let them tell me what they wanted to spend.

This store and it’s people truly understand what customer service is all about. I was searching nationwide for a Lifefitness recumbent bike. Most companies could not find the time to respond to my inquiries and questions, and if they did it was 3-4 days later. Stan and his team would respond in a couple of hours and when I asked Stan to call me, he did in seconds. Needless to say, don’t waste your time looking elsewhere for fitness and exercise equipment. This company and it’s people are the best.Now, the delivery/installation company they use, Fitness Express Delivery, are also outstanding. Living 90 miles from Houston, one of the principles of the company, Brian, delivered and installed the bike today. Today being a Sunday. Is that service, or what!!Many thanks.Again, this team knows how to take care of clients. A truly exceptional buying process from start to finish.
