Pretty disappointed, came here at night and saw the entire section of coffee I was looking for was 3 months expired and had mold growing on the bottles. I let the cashier know and they didn’t seemed bothered by it. I called the next morning to let customer service know and they seemed like it was such an inconvenience for me to call and let them know they have moldy products on their shelves. It makes me wonder how many expired products customers are buying because the staff is too bothered to check what they have out. Definitely won’t be coming back to this location.

I usually give the benefit of doubt to the employees, colleagues etc.. However today I had the most horrible experience at Kroger.. brought this to the Managers attention...dont expect to see any change.Here is what happened, at the cashier checkout lane 19 around 6PM. There was no helper to bag the goods, so while the cashier was ringing our produce, I started bagging them and placing in our cart. Then the helper showed up and had one more English muffin to bag, as it was being scanned by the cashier.What happened next was beside me. The cashier picks a bag, puts out english muffin and throws it into the cart like it was a basket ball. It went flying into the cart hitting the sides of the cart. When I asked her that was absolutely rude, she said.. it is soft, nothing happened right...I brought this up to the manager, the helper came and apologized while we were sharing this experience to the manager, even though it had nothing to do with the helper.I have no words for this kind of behavior... errgh Kroger Management...teach your employees to respect people...it is not that hard...

I love this store. Great variety of food and fresh produce. They also have a small collection of clothes and shoes.

I love this store, great selection, and great customer service! The only problem I have with this store is that they don’t want to refund the prepaid visa gift card that I bought from them. I always purchase a prepaid gift card from here to get 4x fuel points. However, the last 2 cards ($100 each plus activation fee) that I bought are not working. I understand it’s store policy (no refund for gift cards), but the company they got these cards from can’t help me either. The agents that I talked to wanted me to go back to kroger because they said the cards are not properly loaded by kroger, asked me to fax the gift cards to them, and they said they will call me back but never happened. I hope that Kroger will make sure that there’s no problem with the items they are selling. I will still go this store but will never buy gift cards here again!

Price gouging....from $6.99 to $13.99. 100% price increase. A line supervisor told me that the vendor changes prices all the time. I asked for a General Manager for an explanation an left me waiting for over ten minutes. Left and will call headquarters to complaint. You dont deserve my family of 5 business. I will be going to HEB from now on.

I got hired to work here. They didnt know who I was. It was also for the wrong position. So I dont work here lol. I went through orientation and everything. Now its hilarious to shop here because I know what goes on in the back and how the employees are treated. Have a nice Day :)

They waited 30 minutes before our Order to call us. Don’t waste y’all’s time with e commerce here . Heb is so much quicker and we have never had a manager tell us “we can stop off and go pick up some stuff “ . Seriously? We have things to do before it freezes up. Used to be one of my fav. Kroger’s as it’s relatively close to our home but over the last few months it’s become one of the worst - shelves are empty, produce is never refilled well, as is the Dairy section. Have tried shopping there on different days and different times but made no difference. Whatever they seemed to be out of, the Kroger near 1093 always had it, bigger and better selection and always someone asking whether you need help. The only people I see at this location are the ones doing the shopping for online shoppers and are useless when in need of finding an item. What a shame. Clearly lack of leadership, pride, and customer service.

Kroger was my place for gorceries for 5 years but in the last months we see the store is not well clean and managed, even the employees are not as gentle as they were in the past. That is the reason I started shopping in HEB of the 1463, it is cleaner, more organized and with nicer staff.

The manager Ms. Sharon is extremely rude and customer unfriendly! This used to be one of the best managed grocery store in the Firethorne neighborhood but thanks to the present manager, this store is hurtling into an old style Walmart which ironically keeps improving its customer service. This manager looks suspiciously at the carts of customers of certain origins and always has an unwelcome countenance while replying to queries. Right in front of me, she once told a customer to buy all the items in his cart as he had touched everything so nothing should go back to the shelves from his cart in the beginning of the pandemic!!! She behaves as if the store is being owned by her! She comes up with autocratic rule(s) but cant show the same rule anywhere either in the printed format or on Kroger.com website. I like Krogers quality but this managers high handedness (as mentioned by several customers through Google reviews) is leaking the customer base of this store due to other excellent customer centric grocery options (HEB, ALDI, WALMART) on southern end of FM 1463 towards FM 1093. I wish Kroger takes better care of its customers through better management as this is the closest grocery store from Firethorne and other neighboring subdivisions.

Overall a great neighborhood super market. Usually has everything I need and products are good quality. I like that they offer a pretty good variety of natural and organic products as well. I like that they offer a lot of self check out lanes so I can run in and out quickly. Store is overall clean, organized and well stocked. The only complaint I have is the carts- they are all over the parking lot. I think there may not be enough cart stations so people just leave them in between the cars.Update: Since my last review, they have provided more cart stations!

The black lady is crazy Rude she working in the money services. always yelling me for no reason. She told me I can’t get two ribs. I am ask why ? No any sign to show I can’t get two ribs. And made phone call to the cashier to take out my ribs. Never buy any product from this area.

Great layout, well stocked. Staff friendly. It used to be the only grocery store around when it opened. Now it competes with HEB in Cross Creek but Kroger will continue to earn our business.

This store is by far the closest to my house, so I shop there maybe twice a week. Most times I spend $250-$350 in total groceries. That being said, I’m really disappointed when I’ve spent that much amount of money and the strawberries (I bought them two days ago) are moldy and the yogurts I bought are expired, it really upsets me. Conveniently the expired yogurts are placed in the front so that customers can pick them up and take them home, I’m guessing. You also always have to flip the strawberry, blueberry and raspberry fresh fruit containers to make sure they are not rotten, which most times there are several containers of berries that are rotting. I bought two containers of the golden kiwis and the kiwis were rotten. They do come in a plastic container with a cardboard label, but isn’t anyone checking when those items were brought in the store and realize they haven’t sold?I also buy fish every week and on ocasión shrimp. The last time I bought shrimp, it smelled terrible when I defrosted it. Terrible.I’m not sure who is managing the store, but they are doing a terrible job. I hate spending a lot of money, just to throw my groceries out in the garbage.Oh, and the lady employee that was organizing the grapes a few weeks back...stop eating and organizing the grapes.Honestly, I will just have to find another place to shop and stop giving Kroger my money. Really disappointed.

This Kroger is in my neighborhood and I shop there once or twice every week. The employees are friendly and extremely helpful. Their prices are very competitive with all the other stores.

Waited almost 2 hours to pick up my groceries when I ordered my groceries at 2:30 in the afternoon and while waiting everyone that came after me was serviced again after me waiting almost 2 hours and when I was serviced I did not get any apology for how long I waited and was called a “sir” when I am clearly a female 😡 worst customer service I ever experienced!

This is usually the only grocery store we go to...not sure if it is really the cheapest, but it definitely the closest. It is always clean and the shelves are stocked neatly. They also have a beer and wine bar to sit at with a two drink limit and a couple of flat screen tvs behind the bar. Cool when you have time..

I loved to shop with frys / Kroger but went there today ask to get cash back and they started a .50 cent charge! Not good move guys I’m out I’ll be going to HEB !

This is not your average grocery store! The prices for groceries are great when using the Kroger card, they have a huge variety of clothes, shoes, and toys unlike other Kroger Ive seen before. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

This is my absolute favorite grocery store to shop at. The employees are so helpful and friendly. The store is always clean and I always find everything I need.

Super disappointed! Although the store’s really pretty and has a great selection, the two times I’ve been there, I’ve ended up with bad products. The first time, I bought a pound of wild-caught shrimp. I kept them on the fridge for fewer than 24 hours, intending to cook them the next night. But, the next morning when I opened the fridge, the shrimp had gone bad. The fridge smelled TERRIBLE. The second time, my hubby stopped by there and picked up some organic blackberries. When he brought them home, the bottom berries were moldy and I had to toss out more than half the package. Not impressed. 😡

The produce may be hit or miss but overall pretty good. The candy selection is okay. The pharmacy staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Beautiful store.

Horrible customer service in the pharmacy, the tech I spoke to flat out told me she was busy I was going to have to wait and “she barely had time to take my phone call” then she immediately hangs up on me. This is not how you treat customers and patients and if it is then you need to find a new job.

Huge selection of almost every type of grocery item. Spacious aisles and great service. Good selection of gourmand items. Has a cheese monger and a bar where you can enjoy a nice wine while shopping.

Totally a loss for words at the poor service from the IT Group, It Manager and CIO! I guess IT Group as a hole has taken the week off for Thanksgiving, including CIO! No support what so ever including a text message on FaceBook Messenger!Unfortunately, I am not able to access their website! Even tried to place a Pick Up Order today using my iPhone Kroger App! The Kroger App on an iPhone would allow me access, which it did! I took the time to put together an order all the way until checkout! Went through the checkout until I went to put my credit/debit card to the order, so it went into to the processing screen until it timed out! Then I tried to do it again when signed me out and then locked my account for 30 minutes! I waited 30 minutes tried again, no login! So I tried to get password reset and they asked for my email address, which I am still waiting on that email 30 minutes later! Believe me I am not holding my breath waiting for that email!So I guess after I am done at the hosiptal I will go grocery shopping the Old Fashion Way! Believe me I will be requesting that someone to help take the grocery out to car and load them!THANK YOU IT GROUP and the IT MANAGERS, I will not be using any of Krogers Services such as the Pick Up Service or Delivery! I will be looking to stores that offer these same services for my future business!

I would give this store a no star rating if I can! This store use to be very well managed, clean and very friendly, now it is not ever since they have this new manager sharon or how ever you spell it. Very rude thinks she owns the place and has no respect for employees/customers osha should be called as well. Will not be shopping at this store any more as for most of my friends and all of my family. Losing lots of customers.

Typical Kroger supermarket. They are still relatively new so they are still treating their customers respectfully. In a few months that will stop and customer service will be as much of a joke there as it is at their other stores in the area.

Great place but later evening 9-9:30ish, there should still be employees running the check out lines and not just self checkout.

Great in-store bar with an excellent selection of craft brews. Also, I consider this the least packed of all Krogers in the West Katy area. Typical grocery store, but still new and clean.

Though I love the store itself, the bakery is a total disaster. I ordered a cake on Tuesday for pick up on Friday. Not only did they NOT make what i requested, the woman had such an attitude about it stating i never gave her a picture so she just made a cake . Thing is, i wanted a cake that was on display at the bakery. I quite literally said may i have this exact cake on Friday? With a small 6 inch cake to match?. I was met with of course that is no problem only for it not even be close to what i wanted. AND it was decorated horribly! It looked like it was supposed to be a bunch of cupcakes put together instead of an actual cake because of all the space between the flowers. Needless to say, I will not be ordering a cake from here again.

Some of the Staff has an attitude. Younger staff are generally nice but there was this lady Monica in the fast lane who obviously had a bit of an attitude the other day. If she had a problem with me being in the fast lane she should have said it out loud, rather than showing annoying expressions and actions. Poor customer service. Hope management will notice and will give her some extra training.

If you ever meet the lady Kashana in customer service, you will feel really good. This lady is an example of great customer service! Everyone else at the store is friendly too. The clean and new store is an added bonus. I am now a permanent customer!

Huge store, very clean and well organized, always plenty of parking. Prices are ok but definitely get a Kroger customer card to take advantage of some pretty good specials. The checkers and baggers sometimes seem to be a bit frustrated but they are usually very quick. Rarely more than a couple people in line.

I was sooooo excited they were opening I was counting the days. Seriously. Since they opened Ive had 2 bad experiences with food there. The week before Christmas I went shopping to host my familys Christmas Eve celebration and I bought dinner rolls in the bread isle. Well, when I went to pop them in the oven every single package was moldy. Krogers brand. Took them to the store the day after Christmas for a refund and explained what happened and no were sorry, nothing at all. Heres your money. :/ Well thanks!Second, bought some I cant believe its not butter and for some reason it is off. I thought maybe it was my taste buds and tried it again. Still not right. Bought some from HEB and it WAS off.Not real happy with their food quality at this point. Sad. I was hoping.

Low cost grocery store. The only issue is that the produce has been consistently low quality. Ive never had a good watermelon and the spinach seems ready to go bad as soon as I buy it (we buy the organic packaged kind).

This place is headed down the path to becoming just another Walmart. Stop pushing everyone to the self-checkout. Have a few employees looking for customers to help or at least there for customers to find. We went to this store for everything when we first moved to Firethorne 3 months ago. Now, we only pick up what we forgot at HEB or that last-minute item for tonights dinner.

I like Kroger in general and this place is even above average Kroger stores. However, today I saw a bunch of yogurts stored on the top of the fridge shelves. They were warm already (so at least hours, if not more?). I told an employee working next to them. She told me shell let someone know. I hanged there for 5-10 mins and nothing happened. Im pretty sure they will end up putting the yogurts in the cold section, like nothing happened and they are still good. Makes me wonder about all the refrigerated products then...

Great neighborhood grocery store with weekly specials. Not quite as good of prices overall as HEB, but since it is closer to us, usually good for a quick trip.

This kroger has a lot of space. I love that there is plenty of room in between where the aisles end and the lanes begin.

Oasis is truly an oasis. Fresh tasty food at reasonable prices. The lentil soup was piping hot and freshly made. The bread was right out of the oven with the scorch marks to prove it not premade plastic wrapped sitting around for who knows how long. The garlic spread was nice and...garlicky but cut just enough not to impart the garlic breath of death effect. All in all a good value. My only complaints were that the broiled fish was advertised as having seasonings and curry but when it got to my table the seasonings and curry must have swam away because it didnt have any...not even salt. And my bill was enough that when I asked for more bread to go with my remaining hummus and garlic spread it would have been nice had they figured well this guy had spent enough to warrant some gratis pita bread. Ah well, inshaallah one day they may get it, not to nickel and dime the customers.Ill go back since Im in the area frequently but Ill stick to chicken shawarma and salad.
