I have always had a hard time finding a mechanic that doesnt see a single chick that clearly doesnt know a thing about cars and thinks hey lets jack the price up on this chick. New to Keizer a couple years ago I pulled into 2 different random car repair shops when I was having car trouble. Both places, one of them just three blocks away from Evolution Auto, had given me an estimate and both were well over 200 and I made an appointment with one of them for a couple days out. Well thankfully I popped into Knechts for something that day and saw Scotts business card out on the counter and the guy there said he was great. Well I decided to go see him and it took about 15 minutes of him looking under my hood, he tightened a hose and didnt charge me anything, not even when I offered him a twenty. That was it, it was fixed, there was no 200 dollar problem and I couldnt believe how close I had come to being screwed. I of course only take my car to him and when I here bangs or ticks or anything from my engine I know I have someone I can trust to fix my car. He is also of course an incredible mechanic. It is so hard to find a good mechanic.
