I recently had to get my computer fixed and Don was amazing and professional and quite fun to talk to! He was extremely responsive and fair with pricing. Despite my best efforts my computer would not work. I contacted DC computer and Don helped me over the phone to fix one problem. It worked. But, other issues kept surfacing and after another phone call he told my hard drive was failing. He said to bring it in and he would replace the hard drive. He did and I was only computer less for only one day. When I got it back he had recovered my data from the failed hard drive and reinstalled Windows and my favorite programs.He was very responsive, professional and quick. I came to DC Computers because my hard drive wasnt responding and asking for a boot disc. Even though I had a scheduled time, Don notified me when he was available earlier. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly. And even though it was bad news (a hard drive failure), he mentioned my computer was still in good shape and gave me some options for a hard drive replacement and standard software installs. The computer was ready on the day he said it would be. He also notified me the night before, in the morning and later when he was available earlier. The final cost was just what he estimated. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work that was done on my computer.

Needed laptop repair. Called DC at 10:00 am and was able to drop it off at 11:00. Received notice 3 hrs. later that the hard drive was failing. Bad news for me, but very pleased with the fast, friendly, and honest service from DC Computer. Highly recommend to anyone needing expert help.

I was referred to DC Computers when my previous resource closed up shop. My wife is a graphic artist and pushes her machine to the limit on a regular basis. When it crashed, I called Don who went through the system and called to let me know we had a bad system hard drive. He asked questions about how we used it and suggested some upgrades in lieu of simply replacing the drive. Don built my computer about 8 years ago. Think about that for a second. He built my original computer about 8 years ago. Most people dont have cars that old. Thats how long it lasted. Don saw me on very short notice, diagnosed the problem, stayed in constant contact and the service was great. The hard drive just gave out. it happens. When he figured there was no resurrecting the hard drive he literally searched for the least expensive option to replace it. He is definitely my go to computer guy. He should be yours too!

So i am building a custom pc, everything was going smoothly throughout the build(or at least i though) until i got the point where i hit the power button and it boots up. Well the moment i got there i hit the power button and what do you know, nothing happened. I though maybe i hooked something up wrong, because it is always something silly and easy. Well as i looked over everything time and time again i couldnt find a single thing wrong. I even went through the trouble of switching out the mother board with a different one and even different power supplies. I thought maybe the mother board wasnt getting power. Well with the help of a few friends who also have built custom pcs and days of frustration and getting nowhere, i decided to look for professional computer help near me. That is how i found Dc computers. This was the only company with 5 star reviews and open the latest. The rest of the competition closed at least 3 hours earlier and only had a 2 star rating. So i gave him a call and left a message with my number name and problem, and within minutes he got back to me telling me he was free tomorrow to take a look at it. When i got there he started to take it apart and look around. He noticed that the power button wires were hooked up wrong right away, the decided to try a few things based on that. Within a few minutes he came up with that most likely fried the mother board and gave me a few tips to try at home. All of that was free of charge. When i got back home i started to do what he said, when i got a call from him saying if i wanted i could bring it back down as he was doing research on my problem after i left. So i decided why not, and i brought my computer back down and he started to take it apart and went all the way to taking the mother board out and taking the processor out and giving it a look. Turns out the pins were bent. He gave me the option of him trying to fix them or returning it. I chose him to fix it and he got them perfectly straight and the processor seated perfectly and he got the thing to start. Only problem was the processor was already toast because of the bent pins. After 3 or 4 hours of combined worked he found the problem and fixed everything he could. He then told me all of that would be free of charge. That is why i will be coming back to him when my new processor gets in because of his great customer service.

Don was great! Gremlins had attacked my laptop and prevented any Internet connection.
