Got my inspection done. It was quick and painless. It helps that I got there before the crowd started showing up otherwise it wouldve been a long wait. Good overall!

I had work performed on my car. Workers forget to put plastic cover over battery. I went back to have the missing part put back on. They couldn’t find the part wasn’t willing to replace the part. My suggestion is to stay clear of this Kwik Kar if you are thinking about getting service done. Workers and owner are both trash, don’t waste your time and money.

Good and convenient location. They are always very friendly and helpful any time I’ve come in. They aren’t speedy but seem thorough so that’s a good trade off to me. Prices are average for the industry. Waiting area has good seating with coffee and water provided. Restroom was clean and up kept.

A little slow but they were very informative on fluids that were low in my truck.

Did an awesome job. They actually do top off your coolant after an oil change. And did repairs to my core that got my car back to running and me to and from work !

Went in for an oil change with a coupon. They did the oil change but charged me twice what was expected and of course refused the coupon. When I asked why it was so much, I was informed that my vehicle required synthetic oil and 6 quarts was an extra fee. When I asked how much it was per quart, the employee couldnt tell me. I paid reluctantly only later to find out my vehicle does NOT require synthetic and only hold 5 quarts (less actually). Very shady and unprofessional to lie to boost sales and take advantage of your customers. I will never return and warn all my friends and family in this area not to go here.

Called to schedule a state inspection for my two vehicles.Told they werent doing inspections because the one person that does them, wasnt there today. Train a backup. Wont try this place again, go down the street to Caliber instead.

While I didn’t appreciate the fact that they weren’t all wearing masks (the guy that was checking people out wasn’t wearing one), I did have a good experience with another person there. He was very attentive and through. He even told me I was early on my oil change and I didn’t need the service done yet. (So not pushy). When I explained I was taking the car on a long road trip, he checked all the tires, and the car for anything that might become an issue. When I asked some questions about any other services my car may need soon, he explained in detail, even though they seemed really busy. This made me feel like he cared and definitely makes me feel like I was in the right place. Your car is definitely in good hands here.

Used to be more efficient. Seems like a lot of turnover will be using another location in the future.

I would recommend anyone to this place, this team is great and dont sell you on things you dont need. Ive been here quite a few times and know people who will only go here.

Unorganized and lacking customer service. I waited 1.5 for a state inspection and kept being told I was next. They never checked the car in and did nothing to correct the situation. With Caliber and Firestone down the street, I see no need to ever return.

Went to get an oil change and check for a leak. They said I had 3 leaks... all were fixed when I got home because they were leaks due to bolts not being tightened. They said they would call me back with results of their leak inspection later because they were so busy. I had to call them a week later and they told me I had to come back for another inspection. They also put the wrong kind of oil in my car. Do not recommend.

Great service. Really, the best way to get in and out relatively fast is to arrive at 8 or before for inspections. Otherwise if it’s like around lunch time, you will wait a good hour. The new awning really helps during the summer or on sunny days. No masks required outside. Masks are overrated.#kwikkar

Robby the manager is a great worker he made sure i was taken care of the entire time he ran the garage like a pro i recommend this spot its my personal favorite place to go for oil changes inspections they do it all! Took nearly 3 hours for an oil change. I’m one of 3 people waiting in the lobby, the wait times are RIDICULOUS for routine procedures.

AWFUL AND DO NOT RECOMMEND. Go to Christian Brother’s Automotive instead!!I called in advance on 11/2/2020 to check wait time for oil change and inspection. They said 0 minutes and had 3 bays open. LIES. Got up there like 15 minutes later only to see it is PACKED. It took a moment for someone to finally help me. He told me it would be an hour. Did not take any of my information down except my key and my insurance for the inspection. I asked if I could leave my number for them to call me when it was done and he just pointed to a sign in sheet and walked away. I left and came back 2 hours later, assuming it would be done. No one was at desk to help me. I got impatient and happened to turn around to see one of the workers climbing into my car to get it into a bay. I had a doctor’s appointment I had to get to and couldn’t stay any longer. I’m pretty sure they saw me waiting at the front desk, and instead of coming to help me, realized they forgot about my car and tried to get it started before I could say no. I immediately ran outside to flag him down and said it’s been 2 hours already and I have to go. He jumped out and gave me keys (I was a little shocked he handed me the keys without confirming I was the owner) and told me to pull to the front so he could give me my inspection paper back. Instead of saying sorry we didn’t get to you (which I would have totally understood and would not be writing this negative review) he sassily said “Come back and see us when you have you have more time.” Seriously? They initially told me it was 0 minutes, which turned into 1 hour, which turned into 2 hours and still hadn’t even started. So unprofessional from start to finish!!Went to CBA instead and was immediately, and professionally, helped and in and out in no time for cheap! 👍🏼

My tire went flat on my way home from dropping off my kids at school. I was in my pajamas. I had no purse with me. Luckily I was close to Kwik Kar when it happened. While I was outside looking at the tire Mason came up to me and asked if he could help. He changed my tire very quickly and had me on my way. Thank you for helping Kwik Kar. I pulled up to get an oil change and sat there for several minutes before flagging someone down and asking for service. He looked at another employee, they both shrugged and ignored me. Not seconds later, another customer pulls up beside me and one of the 2 shruggers went straight over to him and put him in line. I left and went down the road. Ive been going there since we moved here and have never been treated so badly. Ill never go back.

Owner wasn’t following the mask mandate from what I could tell(even though his employees were and so were the customers). I used to love coming to this place, but I will not support a business run by someone who seemingly can’t respect his employees and community enough to follow the literal law. Shameful and selfish.

Every time I come here for an oil change they are so nice and seriously SO FAST. They are cleaning my windows and airing up my tires. It is the little things that really just make a difference. Always honest, good value! I appreciate you guys so much!!!

Go to ROAD RUNNER LUBE&TUNE instead! Give kwik kar a 2 though bc staff did seem nice, but work is not up to par. Was told oil change and alignment would take about an hour and half. Ended up walking around the area for 3 hours, then called just to be told I need to take my jeep to an offroad shop to get aligned. Big waste of my time! Got back to the jeep to see oil smudge marks all over it. Oil sticker shows to replace oil in 3k miles, so Im really concerned if I even got the fully synthetic I paid for. Heres is the kicker though, on my way home I stopped in a place called ROAD RUNNER LUBE&TUNE. They told me they could align my jeep no problem and they did in like 30 mins! They even showed me how far off the alignment was that kwik kar let me drive off with. I figured wranglers were easy to align and the professionals at ROAD RUNNER LUBE&TUNE really showed how good they are at it. I know where Ill be going from now on and I strongly suggest you do too!**Paid $100 for fully synthetic oil, but will be getting an oil change in 3k miles, bc I really dont trust I got fully synthetic... I might have the oil tested, just out of curiosity though. waste of time and money...

Got me right in for my state inspection. Minimal wait time and they were friendly.

Wait times are a little long when they are busy. Its frustrating when you dont see much hustle going on with the technicians. I waited for an hour for an inspection, all while seeing the technician take his time on a few cigarettes and talking with numerous people that pulled up behind the shop. I wouldnt come here again...

Pulled up at open, they came straight to the driver side, asked how they could help and knocked it out quick. Was in and out in less than 20 minutes & staff was very friendly.

I have been taking both my trucks there for years. Last week lost oil pressure and took it to my mechanic. Got chastised for not changing my oil frequently. Pan was full of sludge. $700 repairs later.... I believe that they have been changing my oil filter and toping off my oil. Paid for synthetic, but due to the state there is no way to verify that I was getting what I paid for. Dropping the pan in the other car to confirm. But will never be back! You pay for the oil to be changed, I pay full price, expect full service. I expected more from a veteran.

Thought car needed new breaks and struts. After looking over, guys were honest and stated not needed yet. Honesty in business is awesome. Highly recommend this location.

Just a state inspection but, fast and easy

I come here regularly, but was hesitant with the current COVID-19 situation. So, I called ahead to see how they are managing it. I was told masks are required if you enter the building and would be worn when approaching customers and while inside my vehicle. If all that equals 100, they scored a 50 today. They approached me wearing a mask only half way (nose hanging out) and got in my car that way, too. Another employee approached a Customer within 6ft distance and had his face covering around his neck, not his face. I watched a guy working on my vehicle and in my vehicle with his mask around his chin and I just heard someone sneeze in there among the group!!! Ahhh! Now I have to get in my car and be surrounded by what could be COVID-19 shedding. They’ve always done a good job for me in the past. But they’ve shown they don’t truly care about customers by NOT TAKING THIS VIRUS SERIOUSLY!!!

Took my husband‘s truck in for an oil change. We were get ready for a long trip. My husband checked under the hood when we got home and saw this is how they left the dipstick.

Man, these guys have it together. The last time I pulled up, they had my account referenced from my license plate and my car in the bay before I made it into the office. My name was on their monitor as I approached the desk and their prices are more than reasonable. My service took 15 minutes start to finish on a Friday morning. As a bonus, Ive also caught glimpses of a shop dog in the past. Shop owners who have their critters around are owners of clean, safe shops. Cant beat that.

Paid for a oil change. Standard service comes with 5qts. I brought a qt of an additive to have put in the engine during change. When they were ready to check me out I was charged for 5qts. I asked why 5 and not 4. They explained the service comes with 5. I had to ask twice and explain that I wanted the 5th qt that I had paid for.

Went for an oil change. Staff was very nice as well as the customers who were in the waiting area. They got to my car quickly and made sure to double check with me on the price since my car takes 7qts instead of 5. They also checked my tire air pressure and wiped my windshields which was unexpected and very nice! Definitely will return here for my next oil change. Overall great service and communication!

Take your money elsewhere. Called up about 45 minutes before closing, asked if they had time to do an inspection and said, “we just took one back and have one open slot, it’s first come first serve.” I left the house a minute later and got there with 40 minutes left before closing. Was told by the guy that comes out to greet that they are all booked up. I said I just called and he said you have one open slot. He goes back in to check with the front desk guy and comes out and says, “nope we just filled that slot, can’t do it today. They only had one vehicle in the place and it was getting inspected. So in the 5 minutes between the call and getting there they supposedly finished the guy they just took back, and filled the slot I was told they had. It takes 20 minutes for most places to do an inspection, they had plenty of time. We have two cars, we use this place for every oil change and inspection for the last 7 years at least. Needless to say, they’ve lost our business. I wouldn’t be so critical if this was the first time I’ve received poor service, but it’s not and definitely it will be the last time they see us.

Kwik is right! Also have great mechanics on site, theyve helped us with many minor issues. Saves time and $$ from going to dealer.

I called while on the way only being one minute away and asked if there was a wait for inspection. I was told no, but it was first come first serve. I get there and I’m waiting, and waiting and finally ask why no one has helped me yet. He says there is no wait for inspection, but many people were there for oil changes. They get my keys, and then come back and tell me that there is one person before me and it will be 15 mins. I say okay. 30 mins later, nothing. I tell them I’m sorry and don’t mean to be a pain but I was told one thing and they are doing another and I feel like I was lied to on the phone just to get me there. He said “I didn’t lie to you, it’s first come first serve..it will be another 15 mins or I can give you your keys back.” So rude and such horrible customer service, you don’t speak to a customer that way...I have always come to this location for my car needs but this will be the last time I come here. Horrible experience.

Ripped me off and told me my window tint wasn’t acceptable to pass state inspection. Took it to the actual dealership where vehicle was purchased who put the tint on and passed with absolutely no issues. Completely made up the story about the tint. Will Never go back there for anything.

Ive been using this place for inspections, oil changes, small fixes. They always get the job done but it takes forever. An hour for an oil change, 2 hours for state inspection? Its worth the extra drive time to go somewhere else and get it done quicker.

I have a 2017 Lexus NX 200t, this was my first time needing an inspection on a car in years, so I wasn’t sure I needed one. When the guy took the information down on my car, he mentioned, “2017...”. It hit me that, oh yeah 2017, I don’t need an inspection. The tech was like, “you just need a safety test. It will be $7.” Well, when it was over and I had to pay, they charged me up for $25. Then told me, “sorry, but we did a full inspection.” I spoke with the manager and he still refused to honor the price he stated, which it should have been since my car was a 2017 and we were in 2018. I didn’t need a full inspection. I felt like they took advantage of me because I was a women. I will be reporting them to the state for charging for inspections when they knew good and well I didn’t need one.

I got there about 45 minutes after they opened on a Saturday. I had to go in to get in line since the parking lot was already packed with cars. I was 5th in line for a safety inspection. The staff was very friendly, the coffee was fresh, they had my inspection done and me on the road within an hour!! Good service and nice people.

Everyone was very friendly! I took my jeep in because the check engine light came on, and since it was something small, they didnt even charge me for the diagnostic test. Its also convenient because they are able to do the diagnostic test at this location. I had gone to another Kwik Kar the day before, and they were going to charge $95 to send my jeep to another location to get tested. Here, I was in and out in about 20 minutes, compared to the estimated 3-4 hours at the other location. I will definitely be returning to this location!

Ive been taking my car there for 2 years now. I took it in for an inspection, it passed everything except their loose interpretation of the law. There was no reason to fail the vehicle, except the techs belief on what constitutes a muffler. Despite my car having passed multiple inspections in other states I have been stationed, to include New York state inspection, It appears he knows best. He wasnt rude or disrespectful, just wildly incompetent and believes he can interpret the law as he sees fit. My vehicle has performance mufflers (2008 mustang GT), which passed smog and the car passed everything else, but he did not believe them to have baffling, which he admitted later it did have, then claimed my exhaust had excessive vibration. Attempting to validate his ruling of a failure.I will not return to this establishment after this interaction. As an Active duty service member, I expect to receive professional work and knowledge from the people I do business with. They clearly need more training. I strongly recommend taking your vehicle somewhere else if you want competent and expert service.

I took my car to their shop on Saturday March 11th. I had to get a vehicle emissions and safety inspection. Everything was going fine, they inspected it and it passed and everything. When I got the car home I went to pop the hood so I can plug in the battery tender so the battery wouldnt go low. When I pulled on the hood release cable it just is flopping in my hand. Apparently it was broken whenever they tried to open my hood at the shop. It was not broken whenever I took the car up there because I used it. When I called the manager and told him the situation, he just flat out said no it was broken before I took it up there. Basically, he called me a liar. We had a few words and they are not going to do anything about it. I do not recommend you take your bicycle or tricycle up there and have them look at it. Its just a bunch of kids up there running the shop and apparently they did not know how to pull on a hood release to open the hood. Do not do not do not do not do not do not do not take your car to this place. They will not own up to their responsibility when they damage your car. They will lie to you and tell you everything but the truth.

Horrible. They broke the headlight switch during an inspection and then claimed it was already broken. My lights won’t even turn on now and so my car failed inspection. The manager is rude and refused to fix it, basically called me a liar. The guy working there talked down to me the entire time, trying to mansplain it like I didn’t understand. Reading through reviews I see them breaking things and blaming the customer is a trend. Sad because I’ve had great experiences at other Kwik Kars. They give it a bad name. Complete trash. AVOID THIS LOCATION.

I arrived first at 7:30 AM being the first person in line I thought I would be the first person to get serviced and then the guy comes over to me and starts making excuses and start letting other cars go in and telling me to park and wait.

Dont waste your time! The service here is terrible. They charge you for items and then dont say anything. They get an attitude when you question the extra costs. My car needed repairs a week after coming here and I do not believe it was a coincidence.

Horrible place. Wanted to charge me $800.00 for an A/C service. Went to the Kwik at 2335 West Southlake Boulevard, 76092 and they found out it was a burned fuse. The people over there 100% better, just drive a little further. They even give you a free car wash.

I docked a star because they made my inspection difficult, but they seemed knowledgeable and helpful nonetheless. I’d come back if I had a nicer car.
