Very pleased with their service. Really great job and a even better Price.
A couple weeks ago my Ford’s check engine light was on. My husband took the car to AAMCO, because he takes his care there and always has a great experience. They were wonderful to me as well. After the problem was diagnosed the took the time to call us and explain in detail what the problem was and what the cost would be in detail for each individual fix. They wanted to make sure we were comfortable with the cost, and ensure we were not being overcharged. The service was quick, and promised to be done right on time. When I went to pick up my car, I had asked the manager if he could look at my door and give me advice on how to fix it. This was right at closing, and he said absolutely! He right away went and looked at it, and ended up just fixing it for me at no cost! I am very impressed with the level of customer service here, and will always now take my care to AAMCO for service.Thank you AAMCO for treating your customers so good 😊.
Honest. Professional. Very friendly service. Definitely would recommend
These guys are so honest and flexible to work with. Found our new home for all of our automotive mechanical needs!
Great place, really helpful. They take the time to really inform you. Ended up covered under warranty, but orginally they blew the dealership quote out of the water.
Great diagnostic honesty from Robbie...Customer Centricity is their way of doing business with honesty&integrity!
Very fast. Ive taken a couple of cars to them. They fix what is wrong and and they dont try to upsell repairs you dont need. Definitely recommend these guys.
One thing I like about these people is that they work with you financially. They do their best to work within your budget, and theyre very good at what they do. Good job.
I had problem on my car for a while, went different shop to check, said my car transmission problems. if fixed need cost me a lot of money.I went to this shop recently and they checked it then reset my car computer and just pay less money. good job. the good thing is they are very honest. I will recommend this shop.
I am so thankful for David and Robert and the employees they have! I first used them for my transmission. They had a tow truck come and get my suburban. It was very fast. They got my suv and called me and kept me updated on it. Where honest and reliable! Later on I Had a small minor problem and was stuck at a car wash and the first people to come to my mind was Ammco! I know if something is wrong on my car ammco is who I trust and where I want It to go. Even better is the tow service they use isn’t just friendly but fast! As a mom with kids it’s hard to be stranded. If your ever looking for a company you can trust and some guys you know are honest. Ammco is the place to go. Thank you so so much for all you do for us & my stubborn suburban 😀
This is a great shop. The owner David is extremely courteous and helpful in assessing whatever mechanical issue you have. He will work with you on price and is competitive on price in comparison to other shops in the area. The best part of the business is the integrity of the owner who backs his work and is honest. If you are looking for an honest, affordable mechanic that does good work, this is your place. They also have an expert foreign car repair mechanic on site who is competent to tackle even the most complex issue. In my experience, a lot of other shops in the area do not have this. I give them 5 stars! So far, the work they have done on both of our vehicles has been of quality, a good value, they are always professional, and the work has been done in a timely manner. I highly recommend them.
WonderfulDavid and his staff always very nice
Had my car done in a day. Good Price, excellent work.
Good prices but they never got back with me on my breaks
Overall great experience:1. Reasonable diagnostic fee2. Reasonable repair charges3. Transparent, professional4. Fixed my problem5. No up-selling session following repairsIn my opinion this is a business that you can trust; Robbie the GM is doing a great job leading it.
I bought my wifes car here for the transmission. David was so professional and truly fair with the price. He is so professional with his job and job that we returned to him for an oil and brake job. Hes always fair and honest with the repairs and price and more so works hard to support and help his local community especially small businesses during the pandemic. We will definitely continue taking all of our vehicles to Amoco in Keller.
David and his team were awesome!! They were honest and upfront about the work; we came in thinking the issue was one thing and it turned out to be something completely different. They did not try to sell and additional services, just fixed my car at a reasonable price. It’s so refreshing to deal with a company that is honest and has integrity. Aamco of Keller is my new place for all my automotive needs. Thank you!!
David took great care of me. I went in for the A/C on my Honda CRV and found out it needed a new compressor and condenser. The guys up there got it taken care of within one day and my A/C is working great. Great price, great costumer service and overall great experience!
We bought a used car that ran well for a week but began to over-rev while trying to meet the speed limit on the highway. Most places wouldnt go farther than checking the codes and making their best guess. We had been told at one dealership that fixing our car would cost almost as much as the car itself. Fortunately, we found AAMCO Keller. David and John are top-notch people and top-notch mechanics, and they gave us an inexpensive but extensive diagnostic test. They were very helpful, and listened carefully to our story. These are the kinds of guys who will take your car for a test drive, put it up in the air, check every hose and wire. Theyre thorough, and they care about doing a good job and helping their community.
Grandsons car would not go into park. David and crew checked out and found a piece a plastic lodged at selector. They did it fast and didnt charge him an arm and a leg. Will be doing business here for all my cars. CHECK THEM OUT!!!
Fantastic shop! Thank you for your outstanding work! I will be back for all my future car servicing. David and Robbie were professional and went above and beyond. Also, my car was finished very quickly, a day ahead of schedule! Thanks very much !
The only words that I have for this repair shop is Outstanding! I brought my truck in with the intention that I only needed a transmission flush; however, when David and his team further diagnosed my transmission, they found that my bearing was worn out. Its the little things like this take makes Aamco stand out from its competitors.Im relieved that my truck is running and shifting smooth again! If anyone is in dear need of automotive repair, I highly recommend Aamco! They will and forever will be my auto repair shop from now on!
I had issues with my car starting up on my older vehicle. I had gotten other diagnoses from other shops. Aamco realized that the issue was a bad battery and got my issue taken care of real quick. Thank you David, Robbie and Pete! You guys are life savers! They now have a customer for life. You don’t find such honest people now a days
Very professional and knowledgeable!
I had a good experience with the Shop. Spoke to David the owner on the phone once and was very helpful, he and his family are involved with the community. John, who is the manager not only is knowledgeable, but he is a nice person. I had to tow my car at the end to the dealership because my transmission issue was related to an electronic module that required an specific software, and like any German car, in this case it was better to get it fixed by the dealer. John took a step further, since it was better to take it somewhere else and originally their shop took care of the tow of my car to their shop to be repaired, John waived the towing fee, since I was now going to get my car towed again to another location. That is not seen these days often. That showed the integrity of their business model. I met few of their crew and they were all very nice people. My car got finally fixed and runs like new again!
Called in to schedule an appointment to replace breaks and rotors, the owner David answered. He was very efficient and get me in the same morning. General manager John was very helpful, he delivered my car before estimates pick up time. Very pleasant experience! Thank you!
This place is so great!! They are honest, affordable & the owner, David, even drove me home once when I left my vehicle for repair. John is a pleasure to do business with, also. They do excellent work & I & the rest of my family will continue to use them for all of our car repairs.
After recently moving to Fort Worth, we ended up with quite a few car repairs. After going to another mechanic who charged too much and didn’t fix the whole problem, we decided to try AAMCO. What a difference! They fixed everything at a great price. This was one of the best repair shops I have been to, and we plan to bring all our future business to them.
Great team....great customer service. David (owner) was very kind, explained all my options and answered any questions I had. Trust is a very important commodity in the service business and especially in the automotive service business. I trust David and his staff to get the job done right. I will be back in the future and would recommend them without hesitation
I received great service and pricing. The work was done same day and so there was little inconvenience. They even asked if I needed a ride.
They did an awesome job on my car at a very reasonable price. I didnt feel like they where adding items on just to charge me more. I will definitely be back to see them! The above post was from 9 months ago. I had another problem with my car yesterday May 23, 2018, and had it towed in for repair. I called and let them know that I was having it dropped of there and what was wrong with it. When they where able to get to it they let me know up front what they saw and what the issue could be. They let me know they would not be able to determine what was wrong with it unless they took part of the engine apart to run test and this would cost $200. They gave me the best and worse case scenario. They had to let the engine cooled off and it wouldnt be until the next day to have it fixed. I was shocked when I talked to this this after noon and they told me they fixed the problem and the total cost of the repair was $250. It was minor. Once again I am so impressed by the honesty and their great work. Places like this are hard to find and I would recommend you give them a try. I wish I could give them another 5 stars!
I wish I had found these guys sooner. Warren gave me the most exceptional service ever. Despite being busy, Warren was able to squeeze me in last minute right before we had to go on a long trip and needed our blinker fixed. Thanks Warren!
Great up front pricing extremely fast service... would refer anyone to them
My visit here was nothing but exceptional. Johns assistance was amazing as he explained the problem with my vehicle, their process, and how he could help. Not only does my vehicle now run like shes on a mission, its the first time I dealt with sincerity from a mechanic. I am so blessed to have called them before going anywhere else. Awesome service, work, and location!
I have been taking my car in for regular maintenance to these guys for about 6 months now. (I am a property inspector so I drive crazy amounts of miles. 4 oil changes in 5 months time.) I am also new to Texas. These guys are VERY fair in price, they will pick you up/drop you off at home or work, and are HONEST. They dont try to push repairs on you that dont really need to be done. It is hard to find a honest mechanic sometimes but these guys are the real deal. They are also very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
If there is ever a time where you need an honest, trustworthy, efficient and courteous auto mechanic.....look NO FURTHER. David Gerda and the staff at Aamco Keller are first class. They take the time to explain the necessary repairs and are extremely knowledgeable. They have helped me out on several occasions when I was in a pinch and came through with getting repairs completed quickly. I would highly recommend them for any and all of your automotive repair needs!
They are the best. I have been there three times now and every time they fix the problem without trying to up sell. They have always been super friendly and take the time to explain the issue. Best place to take your vehicle if you want your issue resolved at a fair price... This is the only place I will go as long as I live in Fort worth
The guys at Aamco Keller have repaired multiple things on my truck for me. Including big ticket items like rear main seal. The work is always quality and the service is great.I will be returning for my future needs
I dont write a bunch of reviews, but wanted to make sure I documented how easy of a process it was to get service.First, their hours are great and allow for working people to get service without having to undertake another expense of missing work.Second, Mr. John is just a honest and fair man. Gave me a full breakdown and fair pricing, which surprisingly a lot of mechanics arent willing to do in my experience. So long as my truck doesnt blow up from the brake job and oil change completed in the next few days, AAMCO has a customer for as long as Im in the DFW area. Thanks AAMCO!Peyton
John and Warren have both provided exceptional service while repairing my Sons transmission. I highly recommend that you allow The AAMCO Keller Family to resolve any of your current and future automotive needs.
These guys are OUTSTANDING!! David the owner and John the office manager(?) were top notch. They explained to me in detail what they would be able to do and what might be my best option. I never expected the added hospitality that came with my appointment but I have never been more appreciative. Thanks guys! You have earned a lifetime customer.
You can trust this shop 100%. I’ve taken all my cars to them, quoted by an other shop 1,900 they were able to do the job for 800. All of the workers are highly skilled add certified any kind of job on your car call them first.
I brought my truck in there to get some transmission work done. John was nice from the get-go. He dealt with my warranty company to get my transmission covered. The warranty company brought out one of their own transmissions from a outside vendor. Aamco put it in and it was a defective transmission. John was great dealing with the warranty company to try to get a new one out. It took the warranty company two weeks to get a new one out there. And that one was also defective. Through the whole process of this John was very patient and was on top of everything. The warranty company finally agreed to have Aamco put one of their own transmissions in. And ever since that one was put in my trucks been running great. I will bring my truck back here for any of my future services that Ill need done on my truck. Thanks John and his team for going above and beyond too get my truck fixed and get it back on the road.
This is the ONLY place we will take our cars! The staff and owner were amazingly friendly and helpful. We were hit with an unexpected and expensive car repair. They worked with us to explore our options and find the best option. When we chose the less efficient, cheaper, temporary fix the owner said he couldnt, in good conscience, let us do that knowing that we would just have to have it repaired again in less than a year. We explored even more options and were able to find one that worked for everyone. The repairs were completed quickly and my SUV runs better than it has in years. This is a company that REALLY DOES care about the customer and goes above and beyond to make them feel appreciated and they continue to do so every time we go! We are so grateful for them! We recommend them to everyone needing car repair and maintenance!
I had a great experience with AAMCO. By far a more affordable price than the Audi dealership I contacted for a brake repair. Friendly and helpful, even drove me all the way to Southlake for work. Will definitely be back again!
I have been in aviation maintenance for about 30 years and because of this I have always maintained my vehicles. There are some things I dont want to do. Replacing/Overhauling the Transmission was one. This AAMCO did a great job for a fair price. They also were very professional and polite.I did a lot of research while choosing a place to do the overhaul. Part of this was using the Google rating. The Google rating is a very good and accurate indicator. This AAMCO was the highest rated I could find close to me and it lived up to the rating. I highly recommend them!
My visit to this location will; be the last time. I was completely misinformed about the cost to repair my vehicle after 3 days of diagnosing my transmission issue. I was told after the 3 days the cost would be $4900 for all parts and labor and the $559 cost of the diagnosis would be rolled into the final cost. I let them know upfront that Park Place quoted $5800 for a replacement transmission but said I might be a bale to get the current one repaired for less. My thought was okay, I can save about $900 so it made sense. A few days before I was told the car would be ready John called me and told me they were done. I said thats great and Ill be in tomorrow to pick it up. I called back and got David whom I asked the final cost. He told $6076. Needless to say I was shocked and asked what about the $4900 I was quoted? He said he didnt know about that but would have John call me back. When John called me back he said they found a re-manufactured transmission locally and decided to go that route. I picked up my car today and the check engine light was still on. The tech read the code and said it was related to either a coil or spark plug which have been replaced already. He erased the code and so far no issues. However, regardless what happens, I will never visit this place again and will tell anyone who will listen not to go there!!!
First Class Five Star, across the board! Friendly, knowledgeable, energetic and professional. Reasonable labor and parts costs. No selling up at all. Ran codes, zeroed in on potential problems causing my car to run roughly. Diagnosed and obtained needed parts and installed them. Even drove me home and picked me up when work was done (turns out I live close to their shop). We recently moved here and we all know how hard it is to find a car repair shop, doctor, dentist, you name it in a new area Well, weve found an excellent repair team that we can trust. Thanks, Dave and John.
I have had so many bad experiences with auto repairs I was shocked at how pleasant AAMCO made it. The service was great! The staff did a great job of keeping me informed and my truck is running great. The best part is they had the lowest price of 3 shops I called. I would highly recommend AAMCO.
My daughters car was messing up, it was chugging, smoking and leaking fluid. But was not getting hot. We pulled into Davids shop, because it was the closes one. Most of the time you get Mechanics that want to try and overcharge females because they think they dont know anything about vehicles. Well when David called me to tell me what was wrong and the amount to fix, I just say it was beyond fair. They are very nice and professional. His wife even drove us home. I am very leary when it comes to mechanics, but when I walked into his office I could tell he was a good christian family man. Talking to him about what was going on he was so professional and nice. The turn around on getting her car back was awesome also. Was not even 24 hours. I will definitely be going back if needed. Great Job guys, God Bless.
Being new to Keller, my son recommended Aamco in Keller for some minor maintenance on my car. David was so nice and friendly when I showed up 20 minutes before opening and checked me in early and gave me a ride home without any wait. John contacted me twice during the day to keep me advised of the work and a few other things that needed to be fixed. My car was ready earlier than I expected and I was picked up at my home to retrieve my car. I had such a positive experience that I feel I have found the one place I will return for anything automotive related. Thank you David and John!
Cesar was soooooo awesome! He was able to pinpoint my cars issue quickly and efficiently. Whats so special about him is that he solved a problem 3 other mechanics couldnt solve for me. Thank you Cesar and aamco you have a customer for life!
Another Transmission shop referred me to this AAMCO. I am very happy with the service. Very professional folks. They were less than 1/2 of what another car repair shop wanted me to pay. You will be very happy with they job they do. Great Job John and Dave, and Crew.
Its very difficult to find an auto shop nowadays that will treat you right, AAMCO Transmissions is one of the few that will. I really appreciate their honesty, workmanship and fair pricing. I recommend them highly!
I took my car into another shop for an oil change and found out I had issues with my transmission. The 3rd gear was slipping and the shop I took it too told me that I was looking at around $2800 dollars in repairs. I did not have that money, so I called other shops in the area to get estimates. When I called AAMCO, I spoke with David. He scoffed at this quote of $2800 and encouraged me to bring my car in to have them look at it. I also mentioned that I had printed a coupon from their website for a transmission repair and he said that would be included in the final cost if a repair were necessary.Of course once they looked at my car they saw a problem and told me they couldnt give me an accurate estimate unless they took the transmission apart. Which ultimately meant they would need to rebuild it. After they took apart the transmission, they called me back and told me I was looking at $2800 in repairs. I explained that was the exact price I brought my car to them to avoid paying. He told me I was welcome to take the car elsewhere, I would just need to pay them $500 for taking the transmission apart. But if I decided to have them rebuild my transmission, they would roll the $500 into the cost. So my option was to pay them $500, and pay another shop potentially an additional $2000 or more or just suck it up and pay the $2800 they were asking. This is how they trick people into using their services. Once they take your transmission apart, youre stuck. When I asked about the coupon Id gotten online, I was told that theyd written off enough and that they included. I still dont understand how if they quoted me $2800, that with a coupon, I still paid $2800.The reason I let them handle my transmission was because I was moving to another state and wanted to have a warranty on such an expensive repair that was valid in any state. If I werent moving, I would have taken my car elsewhere for cheaper. The experience just left me feeling deceived and slightly taken advantage of. A year later and my transmission is leaking.
I went to a shop that evaluated my truck...they quoted me $800 to replace my clutch on Ford Ranger. I took it to Aamco who also evaluated my truck, diagnosed it for NO FEE. They told me that the clutch did not need repair... only required for the air to be bled from system. $600 less than the other service. My truck runs fine now! They were very friendly... even towed my truck from other location (for a fee of course), but the service and price, the free diagnostics with excellent customer service was worth EVERY PENNY. I would definitely use them again... as a matter of fact, my mothers van is there as we speak... waiting for diagnostics and potential repair. I recommend them to everyone. All I can say is I am grateful for their work and glad I sought out a second opinion
Working with this AAMCO was remarkable. Owner is a very genuine guy and runs a trustworthy shop. No unnecessary repairs were pushed by the staff and the work they did was thorough. Price was better than other locals who were also less punctual
I have been taking our company and personal vehicles to this shop for about seven years by now and will continue working with them with no hesitate. They are very knowledgeable in vehicle diagnosing and repairing. They will never ask to do unnecessary repairs nor create fails claims on your vehicle. They have a great team of techs and mechanic that capable of handling any repairs or issues in short period of time and decent price.
This is one of the best mechanic shops I have had the pleasure of taking my car to! They are upfront, honest and caring of your vehicles problems. No matter how much knowledge you have or dont about the problems youre having, they will do their best to explain things to your liking. Kudos to Aamco in Keller.
I highly recommend AAMCO Keller. Excellent customer service and I appreciate their support of local businesses and the community. Lets face it, no one ever goes to a repair shop because your car is running well. Repair shops mean $$ and time you usually cannot afford to spare. AAMCO Keller respects both my time and money. They are quick to listen and clear about what repairs are required. Theyve never tried to sell additional work or scare me into a repair. David and his guys do what it takes to provide the highest quality work at a fair price.
Thank you AAMCO Keller! The service that I receive at AAMCO’s Keller location has always been outstanding. Their customer service is excellent, as well as, their attention to detail. They just did an outstanding job servicing my mother’s car too. She is 83 years old and AAMCO noticed that she needed a full set of new tires and offered to take her car to the tire place of our choice. They not only took the car to the tire store, but also went out of their way to pick it up! I am so thankful for their trusted service! I always feel comfortable that I will receive the best service and I know that they will not take advantage of my friends nor family!
Began to get a lag between stepping on the gas and the transmission shifting to the next higher gear. When I slowed down and then sped up the gear change would lag behind once again. Also noticed what I thought was a small oil leak on the garage floor. Called AAMCO Keller and David, the owner, said it sounded like a transmission fluid leak not oil. He said to bring it in and they would check it out. Turns out he was correct. After a transmission service and pan gasket change the shifting issue is gone and it feels better than new. The service was excellent, employees friendly, work done exceptional, and the pricing was way better than Id hoped for. Will highly reccommed this shop to everyone.
I brought my car in because it wasnt starting. The owner, David was very patient to explain to me every little detail and was very kind and honest. They were able to diagnose the problem and repair it in just a day. The problems, parts needed and cost were described clearly before any repairs were done and my vehicle sounds great now. The best part is that it didnt cost an eye from my face...I will absolutely bring my car back for any future repairs.
I’ve always trusted Aamco Keller with my cars because they are always honest in their repairs and always polite and professional when they talk to me
These guys saved me a ton of money.I was hearing a weird noise in 1st gear on my manual transmission Honda Civic, and had taken it into the dealership hoping it would be covered under an extended warranty. It wasn’t and they quoted me $3600 for fixes, and charged me $200 for the diagnostic. I took their diagnostic and investigated OEM parts pricing and realized they were trying to gouge me.I brought it to these guys and told them the situation and what the dealership said. They put it through their diagnostic ($50) and returned my car to me saying there had been nothing wrong with it. I haven’t heard the noise since.Thank you so much for the honesty, I’ll definitely be pointing people I know with transmission problems here.
Does not stand behind their work. Took my 1500.00 dollars and my car kept running the same way. Between then and Autonation Ive been out of 2000.00 which we had to sacrife our medication and food to pay them. I wouldnt advise anybody to take their vehicle there. I thought when we first took our car there. John was really nice
Great, fast, and honest service... will definitely be back for future needs!
David and John were absolutely great!! They took care of my AC problem very fast. And I also didnt spend half as much as I thought I would!! My experience was great and would recommend them to anyone. Cant beat great service and a great price!!
I only wish I could give these guys a better grade than Excellent. My truck started sputtering and they just happened to be the closest place for me to pull in. Right away they were nice and attentive with listening to what my problem was. I was in a time crunch due to driving to work and they DROVE me to the nearest Enterprise where they even got me a discount! I cannot speak any more highly of this place. They have made a life customer out of me just by a chance encounter!
Very friendly and honest! They explained what could be wrong with my car and were able to detect the issue as stated.
Manager and staff do great work and will offer you different options. They explain everything very well .
Just got my baby back from these guys. Took it in for a grinding in the transmission. Told them what I thought it was, and sure enough, that was it. They were very helpful, replaced the part in fair time, and even picked me up so I could come get my car. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks guys!
Took my car in at 8am to get a oil change and transmission fluid change and the guy said he would take care of me . I went to pick up my car at 3:15pm and they had just finished the oil change.. Really this should have taken only an hour . He said they were playing catch up from Friday which is crap . there were only 2 cars there when I got there. I work across the street from them and thought it was convenient and recommended them to others I work with..Never again
I cannot speak highly enough about this business! Owner Dave Gerda and the entire staff exceeded all expectations for integrity and excellent work at a fair price. They are honest and respectful: they tell you what is wrong with your vehicle and exactly what you need to do to repair it -- nothing more. The work I needed for my A/C repair was done with excellence and no surprises. Another shop quoted me a full replacement of the compressor and other parts when the real issue was a harness for the blower motor. The cost for the repair was seriously hundreds of dollars less than what another shop (CB) quoted. This AAMCO shop stands out for their excellence and integrity! By far the best experience Ive had with auto repair -- and I wish I had found this shop years ago.
I think these treated me with the up most respect. They went out of their way to fix my car, drove me to and from my house. I recommend these guys to anybody. And when more work needed to be done to my car they didnt charge me the labor. I myself am a pretty good Backyard mechanic, I think I know the operatings of a car pretty well. And these guys do good work.
John and David do great work and are reasonably priced. We trust them with all our car issues.
John Garcia has given me great peace of mind. I brought my car from having work done by another small, local shop. AAMCO fixed their mistakes and I will definitely be using this location and referring to everyone I know in the area.
The service here was exceptional, John and David took care of me and my car and had it ready before the estimated time. You want it done right, go to AAMCO.
I have found a new car repair shop that actually performs honest work.Took my wifes car in with a grinding in the front when applying brakes (Nov 2013). As the car had 100,000 miles on it I told them to replace the brake pads. After a few hours I called to see how things were going. He said that the brakes were fine and that they were still trying to determine what was causing the grinding sounds. A few more hours and they said that it was a front axel and bearing that was causing the problems. Well, at this point I was thinking what do I do? I have been to other repair shops and paid large sums only to have the problem remain. How am I to judge as I have to rely on the integrity of the repair shop. I told them to go ahead and change the parts. They called back and said that the grinding noise is gone and I could pick up the car. Based on past experience with other shops I was skeptical but when I picked it up it drove perfectly and the noise was gone. In addition, other shops would have gone ahead and replaced the brakes that I had asked for but this shop saved me the money telling me that the brakes were still in good condition. So, I am completely happy with the service provided and believe I have finally found a trustworthy repair shop. They will certainly be first on my list for future service.
I went to AAMCO, Keller,TX on 2/23/2017 for a tune up on our 2007 Lincoln. When the Mechanic took it for a road test he noticed it had a miss. When he was doing the tune up he noticed that there was antifreezeon the #6 plug, which meant that the intake manifold gasket was leaking. If he had not caught this it could have meant severe engine damage inthe future. I have great trust in AAMCO in Keller, TX, and feel like I wastreated right on the price and will now only have my car serviced there. It is a good feeling to walk into an Automotive shop and leave therewith the feeling that you were treated fairly.Dwaine CarlsonKeller,Texas
Always friendly.Good quality service they stand behind.Ready on time as promised.
I needed a place to have my Toyota serviced and these guys are it! Very professional and reasonably priced, I will definitely bring my car back to them. Recommended!
My wifes Honda Odyssey had stopped blowing cold air a week or so before our visit, and after taking to another shop to have one of their $79.99 A/C charge specials, we were informed that our compressor was in need of replacement (along with the condenser, valves, lines, the whole nine, which would cost ~$2500). After stifling (mostly) my laughter, I took the van to AAMCO, mostly because of how nice and sincere David, the owner, sounded over the phone. When we got to his shop, I see a picture of his father on the wall, who is an honorable deceased military veteran. After talking with David, and about how I myself was in the military and am moving soon (today in fact) down to Florida, as well as telling him about how I feel bad that my wife and children will have to move, yet AGAIN! He passed along his own experience of being an army brat; he is now able to make friends quickly, did well in school because of (sometimes) having nothing better to do than his homework. The point of all of this is that he really helped me feel better about the whole situation, and the fact that I would be in Florida while my family remains here, that I didnt have any worries about having issues during the month or so we are separated. He is a stand-up guy, and couldnt be any more honest. He kept me up to speed with the repair process and even helped keep a bit of end bill lower for us since we will have a HUGE upcoming expenditure (moving is never cheap...) If, God forbid, something should happen to my wifes car while she is here in Keller while I am in Florida then I know that we would return, and will recommend anyone and everyone who asks for a reputable car repair I will tell them to go and see David over at AAMCO over on Hwy 377, right after Kroger Drive. If you read this, thanks David!!!
Throttle body cleaning and a few adjustments to the transmission and the truck runs better than ever!! I would highly recommend their business. Thank you David, John and your mechanics!
Communicative, reasonable, fast, & willing to back the work
Good experience. Turned out to be a little more than the estimate, as they found something else wrong (that I also suspected), but then it always does. Also found more things that need to be fixed, but since they are not safety issues, I will do them latter. I would definitely stop by for an estimate and see if you like the look and feel of the shop. I did.
Long wait times and expensive. Employees seemed knowledgeable and were friendly. Would recommend if you can find coupons.
Honest auto mechanics! Diagnosed the issues, did what was asked and charged what was agreed upon. Would send my daughter to this place and feel she would be treated fairly.
Brought my car up to have them find and fix a leak in the AC system. They found and repaired the original leak at a reasonable price but turns out one of the service valves went bad and they fixed that after without question. David also provided me a ride home and back to the shop when i didnt have anyone available at the time of service. This shop is friendly, professional and willing to work with you when needed :)
Excellent service, excellent people! The transmission on my Jeep Wrangler was slipping. Another shop I went to first wanted to tear into it without even looking at it to the tune of $450. After bringing it here John said they would look it over first since it might possibly be something that wouldnt require tearing into it. The problem turned out to be a leaking neutral safety switch.Total cost $176. They even provided me with a courtesy shuttle ride. Both John and David provided me with excellent service and communication.I think Ive found a new shop. Thanks guys!
I have been going to AAmco for about a 1 1/2 years now. The first week i used them was the week of my husbands funeral, it was an extremely tough time in my life! Now being a single mom and not ever dealing with car problems i wanted someone I know i could trust, and they are!! They not only have fixed my cars they helped me find an inexpensive way to fix my sons car after an accident and referred me to someone I can trust to help find my 16 year old son a truck. In my position trust in everything! They have bent over backwards on many occasions for my boys and I. They are a family owned company you can trust and count on!!!!Very Thankful,Laurie Tower
Love this place for all of our vehicle maintenance! With 4 vehicles theres always something needed and I can always count on the guys to give me honest, fair and timely care!
Truck works as good as a three legged dog runs.Transmission didn’t work so I brought it in because of the reviews even though I have never trusted the brand name. Mechanic went on vacation two days after I brought it in even though they said it would be looked at and the repair would be started in a couple of days. Gave me a three day rent a car budget even though it took almost three weeks to finish. Original estimate was between $1800-$2200 and came back at over $3000. From day one I got it back it was over full by a quart and shifting erratically, hard and at high RPm’s. If everything’s rebuilt and the trans is over full then it’s probably the fluid level. A quart is a lot comparatively when something is supposed to work under a certain pressure. Brought it back several times over the next several months with the same problem and they said everything was normal and verbally fought me over it. I’ll admit, the problem was erratic but it wouldn’t just spontaneously disappear 100% every time I brought it in. Come to find out they weren’t driving it or barely at all. They never took out any fluid out like I asked. They never did a flush like I asked and never refilled it to appropriate levels. The last time I brought it in they said they would drive the car until the problem appeared and it sat there for 24 days and was only driven once, maybe twice, for a total distance of 9.5 miles. The owner, David, is a salesman and will try and sell you on the fact that you’re dumb and he’s highly experienced... he’s not. Hint: if you have any kind of mechanical experience or know what you’re talking about the owner will stutter and stumble his words and leave him completely frustrated. He started texting me on my personal number pictures of a computer screen from a dang forum, A FORUM PEOPLE, of problems and symptoms other drivers have had and literally solutions to symptoms I didn’t have.... thought that’s the reason I brought it in to y’all in the first place David??? To fix it. The front desk manager, John, is lazy and literally hopes for the best. He even told me once they flush and fill it after the repair, which they never did, that he “hopes” it works literally not even 12,000 miles after they did the repair. Pathetic. I’m not a big fan of reviews and in fact I’ve only written three my entire life but it’s that bad and I felt compelled to warn others about the practices here and that sometimes review scores aren’t anything whenever people push you to write a review. In fact, I bet you the owner either flags this as inappropriate or comes back with the “we did everything we could and it all worked fine” speech. It didn’t, it’s BS and this place is exactly the kind of mechanic shop you want to avoid. And whatever you have to say in your reply whether it be David or John I could not give two f@cks and y’all are both horrible at your job and the way you treat people. Money not well spent.-Shady people-Shady practices-Overcharging-Wouldn’t fix their bad work even with a warranty-Will leave you with a giant headache
I brought 2009 Nissan Altima for air conditioner making a clicking noise. The owner told me that noise was caused by piece of plastic that was stuck underneath the blower motor. I was only charged $40 in diagnostic fee. I was pleasantly surprised by his honesty. Its the first time that I wasnt over charged by having unnecessary repairs done. Theyre very honest & courteous. I highly recommend AAMCO Total Car Care for all repairs!!! I finally found a car repair shop that I can trust!!!
John and David treat their customers fairly and provide excellent, quality service. Highly recommend!
Great place
Honest straight forward service. I was told by another service station I needed a transmission. It wasnt the transmission and a potential $3000.00 repair was really only $500.00
Excellent customer service, their work is done right the first time ... I’m very satisfied, thanks so much David and John ... My problem was solved...
John and David were both extremely helpful and customer conscientious, gave me a good price and were super nice. I highly recommend this shop.
Ive never seen such poor business practices. We are military and move around the country so we have seen a lot. The manager was rude when we insisted on a second opinion. They had our car a week and charged us 600 dollars to remove the transmission, look at it, and return it. Okay, so be it. We were told we could pick it up in two days since it would take that long to put the transmission back in. It took 3 full work days and we had to insist on taking our vehicle. After the manager bad mouthed Bills Half Price Auto over and over again. He realized how unprofessional he was and offered to tow it across the street to him. He told us Bills would keep it for a week and could NOT beat his price. Well its been a few months and the car runs fine again. Took Bills ONLY 2 DAYS and the price wasnt 3500 like AAMCO it was 900 at Bills. Boy did we make the right decision! I read the one review about how the manager was so rude to a man and his girlfriend and thought it couldnt be. I was wrong. He was exactly the same way with us. Even spoke of working something out with us. He should be ashamed of himself.
