I love three bears. They carry many specialty foods you cant get anywhere else. They pay their employees a decent wage, who are always helpful and friendly. I have heard very good things about the management. They also have the best and fastest pharmacy in town. 5 stars!

I love Three Bears since its/my 1st store in Tok. I truly appreciate all the ppl who work in the pharmacy here in Kenai. I am treated like I am part of the family!!! Thank you!!!I do purchase groceries too..and Im always very happy with my choices.Thank you again!! 😊

I love shopping at Three Bears! I buy a large meet, preferably a Prime Rib, and have the butcher cut it into thick steaks. The Butcher is always happy to assist me and I have delish steaks all month long!

We all appreciate your pharmacy service, high quality, friendly techs, and they always answer my sometimes seemingly endless questions regarding new medicine.

Its where I go for dog food, rotisserie chicken, and a ton of take-and-bake dinner options freshly made.

This store is AWFUL! Staff will not assist you in finding items or they jus have no clue what, where items are and will not assist you. Cashier screwed up at checkout and charged my personal items with work items, even tho I stated clearly they were separate! Manager refused to rectify cashiers mistakes! Store was filthy as well as carts were dirty and sticky, ick!! I will NEVER go back to this store! Cashier was also filthy and unshowered with an awful body odor!! This Kenai store is awful!!

Get it all under one roof. Forgot some items in our packing haste. Were able to get what we needed for our tour in one stop.

This is a review for the gun department and it was back in 2016 hopefully they have new, more knowledgeable staff now. I wanted to buy a shotgun for hiking but was an out of stater working in the area for the summer. They would not sell me a shotgun because I was not a resident of Alaska which was BS. You CAN purchase long guns in other states just not handguns as a non resident. They kinda got rude with me so I just drove to Wal-Mart where they had the exact same shotgun and of course they sold it to me because they knew the law. Needless to say I wasnt very pleased with the Three Bears gun dept but I did go back and buy some sweet shells they had in stock and told them about how they missed out on the sell.

They have everything that you can expect a Costco they would carry some times more & some times less so if you need some thing special well you should buy it in Anchorage. Then travel But always be prepared like a boy scout carry way more than you think you could needALL I CAN SAY IS ALWAYS BEPREPARED HERE OTHERWISE YOU MAY NOT HAVE A VERY GOOD TIME .HAVE A GREAT SUMMER !!!!

Way better options than COSTCO, things costco dont carry, you dont need a membership! Thats a super plus.

The parking lot is so full of holes itll break an Axel..not worth going back. And on another note... The Pharmacy needs to fire the young native girl..dont know her name but very rude to customers in line ahead of me...i will never use this pharmacy again..

Alaskan Family owned mini-warehouse/grocery store. Costco brand bulk items plus regular grocery; Pharmacy, gun counter and liquor store included. Very eclectic mix of items that change often. Enormous (compared to other local stores) rotisserie chickens at a cant be beat price. Bag or box your own groceries. Nice helpful staff.Wonderful meat counter with excellent prices on family pack and primal cuts. The butchers will breakdown and package the larger cuts for you. As is typical of warehouse stores, they dont have a huge selection of items but what they do have is priced right.

Goodish prices. Questionable quality of meats, poor selection of produce. Still, better than driving to Costco. An important community resource, but could be executed better.

I use their pharmacy for everything. It is good, fast and friendly. Shop there too. A big box store like Costco. Have a great selection of food. Also a gun department. Camping and all that goes with that and a liquor store all under one roof.

Drive up from Homer for groceries, meat here is the best in the area for a store setting. Good prices on everything else and lots of bulk options.

I feel this store gets missed and overlooked somewhat. It has a large selection of bulk foods and it even has health food options. Its the only place to buy Montreal Steak Seasoning which is the best!!

The first time we have had a mouthy check out person. Was disrespectful to the manager who was trying to help her and also to my wife. We spend over 1000 a month at 3 bears, did not leave happy.😡😡😡

Decent variety of costco/Sams type items. We buy whole beef tenderloins and cut and package I to serving sizes ourselves. Saves a lot! Probably get6 meals for the cost of 3 of the prepackaged. Rotisserie chickens are cheaper and huge compared to Fred Meyer. Good place to stock up. Just dont expect to buy small quantities.

Three Bears is one of the few bulk stores on the peninsula and it has a little bit if everything.A deli, bakery, pharmacy, veggies and more at very reasonable prices. Last night I bough 6 large muffins for under 6 dollars in a large container as well. Rockstar is a 1.99 and So on. They also has a liquor store.If you are looking for something in bulk, then give them a call as their customer service is helpful and will look up whatever you need.They also have a decent size gun selection with knowledgeable staff as well.Go there today, Im sure you will find what you need!

So this place buys 90% of everything it sells from Costco then marks the stuff up and resells it for a tidy profit. They arent worth the stop unless you are desperate.

Not just a grocery store. This is a supply store for large and small quantities of food and supplies for Alaskans. If you need it to live in Alaska, they have it. Food, fishing, guns, ammo, clothing and boots, etc. Fun just to go in and look. Several locations around Alaska.
