I used to love this place haven’t been here for a while and decided to stop by. I ordered the cream cheese and it tasted like the cream cheese was old developing mold already it tasted sour and disgusting the consistency was not the same it was soft and watery and after I tasted I returned it. The worse customer service I received I tried to explained this to the both guys working and they were trying to find million reasons why it would be like that when it’s so simple to offer me a new ice cream and apologize. We were discussing this for minutes when I told my husband let’s go I lost my desire for ice cream already. I felt like they didn’t believe me it tasted bad and the least they could have done was offering me a new ice cream.

Ice cream was very artificial. I’ve ordered a strawberry Ice cream multiple times here, and it’s always been made with real strawberries. Now the strawberry flavor being used is strawberry syrup. I spoke to the employee that helped me out since the ice cream not only tasted bad, but wasn’t mixed with the add-ins properly, and was told that I can purchase a new order. The Ice cream was bad, and the customer service was worse.

The team was not together, my husband order an ice cream and the costumer after us took it, so we had to wait, it wasnt only my husbands who gotten a wrong order the team was not following their rules. The garbage disposal was overflowing, no one was cleaning the tables after a client left and overall of the flavor of the ice cream was not good. I had tried better quality of Nitrogen Ice cream. We drove 20 mins to this place thinking we will be rewarded with their Ice cream but honestly was not worth it to me.

This place has gone so bad, we used to love it here and it was great but lately it has gotten worse than ever, costumer service is horrible, walk in at 10:10 pm on a thursday night and they told us they were closed but when I asked why because on the internet said 10:30 pm they guy look at the other co worker looking for a “reason” why they were closed to which the other girl said, because they run out of cream to make the ice cream. Other time we went on a Sunday there were like 4 of them working behind the counter and they were talking to each other and laughing and the line was even outside the place, after we got the cubanito ice cream they did not have guava or maria in them and no to go cups, I understand they are young and all that but when you are working with costumer you can be doing that and costumer service is key. I don’t know what is happening to the place or if management change and they just don’t care anymore but we used to love it here when it opened but this last 2 years it has gotten really really bad.

Wow i never thought vegan ice cream would be so delicious 😋 i chose the vegan option but they have everything! plus the whole nitrogen experience was super cool and fun! My ice cream was so delicious I highly recommend this place for fun and delicious ice cream!

Great ice cream but very slow service. I came in at 8:45 and got my ice cream almost one hour later. And there was only another costumer before me

I’ve gone there on multiple occasions and there has been NO ONE at the front. I was hollering at the crowd of workers in the back trying to get their attention (which I shouldn’t even be doing!!!) The seating area seems to never be clean. I always see ice cream residue and trash on the tables and no one goes to clean that!! Also, the dust on the vials of OLD toppings in the back make the experience even less pleasurable.

They ruined the ice cream, they change the ingredients and the taste is no the same, it tastes artificial .

Customer service was nonexistent. The ice cream was tastes and underwhelming. We tossed both cups right outside the store and went for Cold Stone.

Great novelty ice cream parlor that utilize liquid nitrogen in its preparation.Great selection of ice cream and toppings.I had the cubanito which, according to the menu, is their first original treat.Cream has Maria cookie crumbs and one whole. Also chunks of guava.It was soooooo sweet and delicious and in my opinion it is best for sharing; unless you can handle that amount of sweetness ...My only recommendation is to make sure guava gets cut into tiny cubes to be consistent and matching the small cookie crumbs instead of the abruptly big chucks they put in it, making it a bit difficult to chew and less appealing.Other than that little detail, this place is great and I recommend it.

The ice cream is great. However, I have NEVER seen a worse customer service! My husband and I order all the time through Uber eats. Long story short, they cancel the order 9 out of every 10 times. I was told by the owner that she orders them to cancel uber eats orders when the store is full because Uber eats charges them a big fee. That is simply unacceptable!!! I have an online business and I can’t give a poor service to my customers just because the online platform it’s charging me a fee. That is absurd, they will be out of business in no time. To the Brain Freeze owner I once spoke on the phone with ( if you CAN’T handle both in store and online orders, don’t offer online orders at ALL) your ice cream is great but your customer service is the WORSE in south Florida ! Never again !!!!!!!

Great Ice cream concept but theplace was very dirty. No sense of belonging.

It used to be my favorite, the cubanito is not what it used to be, no pieces of guava paste just a drop of guava mermelada, the ice cream was melting, just one machine working, 3 kids working, no manager. Long wait.

Very cool vibe and unique spot. Its going to run you at least $7/person, but its about more than the silky, smooth, delicious, custard-like treats that they have here. Atmosphere is awesome. Sugar-free options. Be prepared for it to be busy and for it to take some time while waiting in line and waiting to get your treats after you order. If you are prepared for all of these things, you are going to have a great time.

40 minutes before closing and with 4 people ahead of us, we were told that they had too many orders (the store was pretty much empty) and that they might have not been able to even take our orders.

I love this place. The service is great I am definitely coming. The employees are super nice and attentive.

Honestly I can’t say anything good about this place. We get there so excited to try it out. We look at the menu and all 8 of us in our party customize our own ice cream. We get to the counter and we find out they are out almost everything we asked for. I get businesses run low on supplies but it would’ve been nice to have a warning. At the end, only 2 of the 8 people ordered something. Keep in mind, the young lady at the register was on her phone the whole time while taking our order along with messing up our order. When we received the messed up order, they didn’t offer a refund or to even remake it. Giving this a 0/10 and will not plan on returning also I shouldn’t be paying $7.95 for a small ice cream. Goodluck.

Such a lovely ice cream place! Warm service and delicious ice cream, especially from the employee, Isa. She was every accommodating and made sure to get the exact ice cream flavors that my kids and I wanted! Also, the blonde guy she was working with was also very kind to offer us napkins when we ran out, although, I didn’t quite catch his name. I think it started with an ‘S’ or something. Kids working there with no sanitation standards. Scratching heads, wiping snot on hands, then making our ice cream and just leaving it on the counter for it to melt. We watched our cashier argue with the other employee making ice cream and then watched that employee lie and say he called our names 4 times when we were sitting there watching him the whole time. We were visiting from Ohio so we thought it would be fun to try their ice cream. When we went to order, they were out of everything. Then we waited for an hour and a half (no exaggeration) for our ice cream. It isnt worth the wait.

Came here for a school field trip with my kids and we all loved it! Fun presentation, friendly staff, and yummy ice cream! Great way to learn some science.

It was ok because although the ice cream presentation was good the flavor was not so much. And it’s a very pricey place!

Concept is great however the lack of customer service and lack of inventory to actually fulfill a customers order is very displeasing: took me 8 minutes to be attended to because the employee was in the back eating and the front completely unattended. Yet at the end there was 4 other employees in the back. Save the trip and your patience.Also, as per employee, don’t go on Sunday’s because they don’t have full inventory (“add in”) until Monday.

Had a great experience at the broward location but the girls in Miami don’t have it together, they started arguing while I was placing my order so I felt more included to leave than spend my money at a uninviting location

My favorite ice cream place of all time. I love how you can make your own ice cream flavors and add the toppings of your choice . They also have combinations made which are honestly the best and very unique. The workers are very kind and give great attention to the costumer. Over all Brain Freeze is a great place to visit and I would definitely recommend. My experience was 10/10

The ice cream was great, I had the Cubanito and it tasted like I was eating a guava pastelito. However, it took my family about 45 minutes to place an order, as the process to make the ice cream takes way too long. Granted it is good, but probably not worth the price nor the time.

The ice cream was ok. They didnt have a lot of the topping that they listed.

What happened to this place? I haven’t been in a while, and now it looks so dirty and neglected. The wall paper is ripped off, the furniture, floor and walls are so dirty. There is only one person in the front, and they don’t have most of the items on the menu. What a disaster.

Great ice-cream, but lately, they have been running out of too many items. Do not order through Uber Eats. You still get charged even when you cancel within a minute of being notified by the app. A simple call from the store and asking the customer if they would like to switch to a different item can resolve these issues quickly.

OPEN DURING COVID> I went there, for the first time, yesterday for my birthday. It was amazing to see science happen before your eyes create what youll eat moments later!!The texture of the icecream is firm but melts as you bite in, you also have a plethora of options to add toppings, and the best part is the swirl with a syringe of extra fudge in the favor of your choice.

Over an hour wait with no place to sit (understandably due to COVID). When we arrived we thought we only had a couple of people in front of us; however, customers were waiting in their cars and what seemed like an average wait turned into an hour an a half. The problem wasn’t the number of people, but the fact that there was only one person working, handling in person and online orders. Our ice cream was not even mixed well, it seemed like the order was rushed. Everyone waiting had long, tired faces. Not what you expect from ice cream night.

Update : 7/4/19I wanted to provide an update to my original comments below. Since then, the owner personally reached out to hear my concerns and apologized for the bad visit. He invited us back for another chance and it was much better. Tables were cleaned, bathroom was clean, light is still out though. My cubanito was much better! Staff is friendly as usually. We love this place. Better ice cream quality than other nitrogen ice cream places we’ve to. 👌🏻💥🍦This place is basically ran by very young adults. Management should always be there to make sure things run smoothly. Owners were on top of things at first and of course they lost their touch. My ice cream is made different every time . This place is pricey too so it would be nice to get what you pay for . I’ve been there during the week and I have been there on weekends and the place is usually pretty dirty as well . Trash cans over flowing, bathrooms are usually messy and the woman’s light has been out for weeks . I tell you, we go often. And it’s a shame that I have been thinking twice before going lately . I really feel management should be there more often and oversee their staff to make sure the quality of service is just as well as the appearance

This place takes a very long time to make the ice cream. It seems that they are taking care of online orders and neglecting the walk-in customers.

Great Ice Cream however they really should have more staff. There were 5 people in front of me waiting for their ice cream and it took them 25 minutes to serve my ice cream on top of that they gave me a small instead of a regular, this is also not the first time they mess the order up. TIP: repeat back the order once the customer has said what they want.

Terrible service. Came in at 11:15 to a boy that said “We’re changing the nitrogen it’s going to take a loooooong time” and we heard the employees fooling around in the back. Once they got an uber eats order is when they started tending to all the customers in line and everything was magically working again. Once it was my time to order they got an uber eats order and the boy asked to another employee “should we take it?” It was 11:30 pm and they close at 12:00 am. The ice cream is great but now every time I go there is always a problem with the service and staff. Immature employees who are fed up from doing their job.

Tasty and lots of topping choices. Would like to have pictures or at least a better display of options instead of a huge list of menu items. Love the variety but its hard to make up your mind when there are no pictures at all.

Love the ice cream but the wait time is ridiculous. It took 40 minutes to receive our ice cream. The people in front of us requested their money back due to the extended wait time. When we asked to speak to the supervisor she gave us a nasty attitude. Bad customer service that is run by teenagers.

Icecream is good but wait time is horrible! I literally waited over 50 min! There were only 6 people ahead of me. This is the second time this has happened to me and it will be the last. To me all Nitrogen icecream tastes the same so I will be taking my business somewhere else. Aint nobody got time for that.

Dont waste $12 here if you are Vegan or Dairy Intolerant. My boyfriend and I ordered Vegan Base which is 1$ more because we are dairy intolerant. It was the most bland vegan base tasted like zero sugar. Even after all the toppings it was just the worst. Imagine unsweetend almond milk frozen. The Vegan ice cream at publix or walmart is way better.

Theyre a bit pricey but it definitely fills you up quickly. If you love ice cream, you would fall in love with this place. Its a really cool hang out place for kids as well.

Worst experience at an ice cream shop ever!First of all they were out of stock on about 40% of the stuff on their menu.The place is a mess, not clean at all. Bathrooms even worse looks like it’s cleaned once a week.The staff does not greet you, but at least they were wearing their masks.Nothing compared to the Doral location. The quality here has gone downhill.

Best ice cream ever!!! Caution Caution Caution is a must have ice cream, very much recommend! Although there was a line, it moved pretty quick and i was very satisfied with my ice cream. The ‘Mad Scientist’ at the register was very nice and gave great suggestions. The ‘Mad Scientist’ that gave my ice cream was also very nice. Once again, very much recommended and the line is well worth it at the end!

This place is a total and complete mess. The wait time was outrageous and after waiting 30 minutes, they messed up my boyfriends order. We waited another 20 minutes for them to remake his and when we went to ask what the wait was... that hadn’t even started making it !!! They completely forgot about his order. There were 2 other gentlemen who were waiting for a while and hadn’t gotten their orders yet.

I really recommend you to come in and try brain freeze ice cream, I promise you their ice cream taste splendid and so much different than any other ice cream you have tried before. you won’t regret it !

Tried this ice cream place the other day and it was great! Very similar to the other nitrogen ice cream places but the variety of toppings are better and I love the additional syringe of condensed milk. (There are different ones to choose from) Delicious place. Must stop by if you are crazing a delicious desert!

Brain Freeze is the best ice cream place ever! The ice cream is so creamy and has so much flavor. There are so many toppings and flavors to accommodate whatever you’re in the mood for. The employees are super nice and are always very helpful. I recommend this place to everyone!!

Disclaimer: My experience may not be the same as yours. Im voicing my experience and my opinion of the location.I visited tonight for the first time. My order was wrong, which is fine it happens. I noticed they made one of my friends order wrong as well. The texture was like a melted marshmallow. Turns out they gave him vegan ice cream. He tossed it away after they failed to make it right, twice. I have been to and tried other nitrogen ice cream brands and have loved them. Never have I had a problem with any ice cream location. When they brought my order out, it was still wrong. At that point, I took my wrong order and tossed it out. I threw 12 dollars down the trash. Never, will I ever come to this place again. Attention to detail is horrible and the lab scientist as they call themselves have horrible customer service skills. The only one that seemed to care was the cashier.

The employees are so nice and extremely patient. I took my niece and nephew for ice cream and they was being a little picky with the ice cream flavors and i had to ask the young man and young lady to re make their ice cream more than once. Thanks again for your patience and great service.

Very disappointed!Used to love this place, came in asked for my regular mix they didnt have switched it up asked for a different one still didnt have then asked for a basic waffle cone and no they didnt have...REALLY A ice cream shop with no cones!! It gets worse!! I finally came up with a different mix to take home and the pints were cheap in quality The lid could not even stay on let alone that they had no branding so if someone asked me to tell them where I got my ice cream from I would have to tell them.. Wow!! Finally i get home take them out the bags and there you have it almost all of the it spilled out.. This is not the place that I was so thrilled to take my family even the wall paper on the walls are peeling off!! The staff was great but sorry the owners are about to Loos a great idea... So far the only place Ive ever been able to find red velvet and cream cheese flavored ice cream which is my absolute favorite! And theirs is so smooth and creamy.

Great quality icecream!! 10/10 I’d recommend my two favorites. One being the “fresh reaction” for something more nice simple and second the “cookie catalyst” for something more sweet. The lines are long but do speed up quickly. It’s definitely worth the wait. And I love how not only do the flavors and toppings vary but the type of ice creams too. Very inclusive! They sell yoghurt, sugar free and even vegan if anyone is looking for those options. And I’ve tried all of them and are equally as tasty. :)))

Terrible customer service. Came from out of town to go to brain freeze since the ice cream is great, and we came to the Kendall location and Jaret G, took our order after 15mins standing when no one was there in the store at 3 30pm on a Monday afternoon, he had ghetto music playing with profane language. I mean children come here to enjoy ice cream and your playing that??? Customer service was terrible and charged me for extra items that I didn’t ask for with my ice cream and was out of so many items aswell! Ridiculous place that is ran by teenagers!!!!!

Possibly the best ice cream in South Florida. There are other long time shops and other similar concepts, but this has taken the crown. So many flavors to choose from as your base (ice cream of froyo), seriously, the list is endless. A variety of sizes and styles, from a small cup to a sandwich. And a mass variety of toppings to mix in. On top of all of that, you can add a flavored syringe! Theres even premade combos if you cant decide. Store is relative spacious and the staff is pretty nice. Plus, its an experience to see the nitrogen mixers in action. Well worth the price.
