They have great prices on some things. Somethings are not up to quality standards but you get what you pay for I guess...The price for a 7lb of ice is $1.49! You cant really beat that! Except next door at the Dollar Tree you can get a 5lb bag of ice for a dollar! So $3 for 14 or 15 bags of ice... Either way a great deal when ice in the city is $2.50 to $3.50 for a 7lb bag of ice!
I’m always able to find a good bargain here and enjoy being able to find certain unique items here. I shop here regularly each week to two weeks for eggs, and I’m always greeted with a kind face when I stop by. Only reason I could have for 4 stars rather than 5 is that sometimes I will find a certain item I really enjoy, and then I end up buying it regularly, and it’s gone after a couple weeks. I suppose it’s just a peeve of mine for something a little more constant, however, bearing in mind what else I’ve said so far, I definitely recommend, being a local of Kenmore this is my favorite shop. Don’t degrade yourself by going to Safeway or having to drive further away, they’ve got everything you need here.
Good prices but they sell expired items. I bought a small rotten watermelon, which 3 days later they cut price down from 2.50 to 1.00. Beware. Manager didnt have an interest in finding out if what they are still selling are rotten. No refund. He wants to see the rotten watermelon which I threw away. I will stick to the regular grocery stores from now on.
My number 1 grocery store! Best prices by far (Id say about 40% less than elsewhere), especially considering that Im European and a true mouse (big cheese consumer !). Buying imported cheeses in The States is ridiculously expensive. Employees always comment on the amount of cheese I buy there :D I also love the fact that I get to discover new products at an affordable price. Tip: if you find something you like, buy A LOT, because you never know when theyll run out OR if itll be back! I also found some really great (natural!) skin care + healthy protein powders that I couldnt afford full price. Thank You!
Normally like this chain lots. This store parking bit harder to me. Same basic selection. Produce never seems as fresh as other stores. Staff friendly and helpful.
On the hunt for Heinz mayonnaise. Its $1.99 in Grocery Outlet and $6.99 in a local grocer that I will not name and $4.99-7.85 on Amazon. I will happily make some before paying that outrageous amount.
The store is dirty. Stuff in produce looked old and the selection in the store is limited on product choices. I come to Grocery Outlet Kenmore and prefer Lynnwood or Lake City. Sorry. Just my opinion what ever thats worth.
This place is a go to conversation topic along my friends and I. Great brands, great selection, great prices. If you’re planning a gathering, or wanting to try new products while on a budget you can afford to take risks here.
We love GO.The produce is reasonably priced and fresh.Staff is very courteous and cheerful. We always find what we r looking for.A great selection of wines too.:)
Great deals and great staff. I started going for the cheap Atkins bars and cant get out without a cart full! lol
Im always happy going there. As long as you go in knowing that you may not find everything that you want/need, because they rotate product so its different all the time, youll be happy too ;) Everything is cheaper than just about anywhere else you might find it, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Love this grocery outlet. People that work here are so friendly and polite :)
I can always find something interesting, and new there.
Always a fun place to shop and find new things and new products at a very affordable price. Love their wine selection!
I love their baked goods selection. The pastries are almost 3x as much if you buy them elsewhere. They also have great produce and ice cream galore.
Always a great place for a bit of a discount on my groceries and wine!
Great prices, lots of good stuff. I keep forgetting to come here first.
They sell smoked salmon here, and cheap. Ever since I moved away from Seattle, people look at me like I have two heads when I speak of salmon as an everyday food; but if you have a Grocery Outlet in driving distance, thats exactly what it becomes. Wine prices here are very modest as well.Their fruits and vegetables arent worth buying -- their fresh berries, in particular, are reliably a disaster, crushed or moldy or both -- but Im honestly still going to give them five stars. I saved much more money on salmon and wine here than I ever lost on berries.
Place is always clean and well kept, prices are really good, and most of the employees are really nice. I have seen a couple employees not wearing masks while walking around, and letting some customers get away without wearing masks as well.
Got some of what I wanted but notall. But that is the nature of the beast.
I’ve been stopped here after work on and off for the last three years. I have never had a bad experience. There’s always something good to grab and I’m loving their expanding NOSH section. We only buy what we need for the week and have never had things go bad before we get to them.
What appeared to be a standard pack of 24 eggs have been repackaged into containers that looked the same but only contain 20 eggs. Fool me once.
This is one of the very few places in Seattle area that sells groceries at a reasonable price.Their collection of organic items is nice. This specific GO is smaller than others in the area.
My cousin has a disability that excludes her from wearing a mask. Her service dog was with us and doing his job. The store owner told her she had to wear a mask or leave. She cant wear a mask. The owner Judy was very short and frankly quite rude about the entire situation. I will not be returning to this location for any reason ever again. Terrible interaction with the staff that were involved. Even aftering being told that an excluding disability existed, she refused to heed the warnings about violating ADA and CDC recommendations about people with a disability not being required to wear the masks. We will be contacting the appropriate authorities to resolve the violation of ADA rules and regulations.
My aunt loves to shop here because of affordable prices. Mens products are priced very well and there is Moochi ice cream 🍦 😍. No huge lines and no crowds. Highly recommended 👌.
I really like their customer service at the registers they are always very personable! I like the inexpensive first aid items and it is fun to look at the random stuff for sale. You never know when youre going to find something great!
The employees are always super sweet! The veggies and milk go rotten faster than we can use them even though the date on the packaging says they should still be fine. Other than that, its a great place to look for bargains.
Probably the best friendliest Grocery Outlet Ive ever been to with the best selection great return policy they dont renege on their offer which most of the grocery Outlets do the nice nicest owner nicest employees definitely worth going to Kenmore Grocery Outlet
This store rotates through stock a lot and the items are always fresh and different which makes shopping here really fun.
The people there are very nice and the deals are fantastic.
Love it, super nice employees
Always friendly customer service here. Busy. Stock can be a surprise. Regular customer. Lots of name and off name brands. Sundry items. Pre packaged meats. Small produce section with some specialty items, guavas, papayas, etc. Wine selection. Hard liquor. Toiletries. Can save $ if one is flexible.
Great grocery outlet and the largest wine selection throughout all grocery outlets in WA I believe.
It seems like they NEVER have enough checkers!! Was in line for over 5 minutes!
As a family of six, I sometimes shop here..Although, being careful on items purchased with nearing shelf life. I purchased a couple of items that were completely stale. And, some bakery items that started molding the next day. I threw my receipt out. I called to see if they would return the bad items and said they dont honor any returns without a reciept. Need less to say, I will stop shopping here if their products are not backed up. It ended up costing me twenty bucks. So much for saving money while I shop this time. Very disapointed in this store.
Good price good selection
Always great deals. Just check expiration dates before check out.
Unclean! Only employees can use bathroom so you know all your food has been touched by filthy hands! Now that we know hand sanitizers dont work you should wear gloves
Staff is friendly and really what isnt there to like about Grocery Outlet?
Good food
Im concerned about SOME of there GREATdeals, just always look at the expiration date because a great deal mean the item expired or you have a few days before the item expires. I dont want to drink up a gallon or eat a jar of something in a day or two😵 just look at those DATES.
Love Grocery Outlet...5 stars!!!
You just never know what they will have. I did not see their Mermaid, i was disappointed.
This is a bargain store only. Don’t expect to go here for all of your shopping. What they have good deals on one week will be different the next week. It’s clean and well organized with a very friendly staff. Lots of parking right in front of the store with easy access in and out. Don’t form an opinion after going there one time. I live in the area so it’s convenient for me to go to the store to see what’s on sale. In and out in 10 minutes-sometimes great deals, sometimes no deals on what I need.
Love the prices on produce, cheeses, seafood, etc. They dont have everything you .ight be looking for, but a surprising variety.
Awesome place to get groceries on a budget. Do your Costco run here and you will be able to save at least 30% if not more!
This is a very nice little store. The staff are especially helpful and kind. The prices are great, the store is clean, and its far less crowded than other discount grocers.
Its small and not such a nice welcoming interior, but does have good prices for promotional items. You wont find everything you might be looking for here as you would at Safeway or Fred Meyer, but if you stick to the items in the weekly ad you will save $$.
Clean, friendly, well-stocked... everything you could hope for, and with great prices too!
Ive been coming to this store for 5 years. Today I had a bad experience with the cashier. I was shopping normal like any other customer and having a great experience with the deals until it was my turn to pay for my groceries.i notice that the person in front of me threw his money by accident, at least that was what i thought, until it was my turn. The cashier with purple hair I dont know if she was mad or going thru a bad situation but she didnt even greeted me and started to throw all my groceries, looked like she didnt wanted to be there. She was grabbing all my grocery like if she wad disgusted and making funny faces. I didnt say anything because i didnt wanted to make things worst, sometimes people dont want to be bother but in this case she is doing customer service. Maybe she will make up excuses about how she was working and will blame it on me. per the receipt youre cashier 0144. Hey if you dont like what you are doing just make sure to look for something that makes you happy, if you are happy, you will make the whole world happy.
Great prices but limited items.
Great people! Sweet deals
Great prices
Nice selection of organic products that is not locally available at other grocery stores... Great laundry section (great prices on detergents), cooking section (great prices on cooking utensils, etc), and they sometimes carry great deals on clothing, towels, unexpected items! The only con... The inventory varies greatly... So if youre looking for specific items to fulfill a recipe... Your best bet would be to visit a regular static inventory local grocery store.
Great stuff but Safeway seems to have the same prices when items are on sale. So needless to say check dates and watch the prices they seem way to good to be true but some items you will pay more then other stores... Give been waned!
Mostly pleasant employees and affordable prices.Convenient location. Lot of affordable wines. You get a awesome deal on some items occasionally.expiry dates some items sometimes are a bit near but you still have enough time. The store is well organized and neat. I do quite a bit of my shopping here.
Great place to find cheap products. I usually buy food that Im going to eat before the week is over.Plus I like to see the gadgets there and let my imagination and creativity loose.I do like the natural food aisle now. Never seen that before and they even had a thing of squid ink pasta!
Great bargains!
Great deals on pretty much all the essentials for your fridge and pantry! Fresh veggies, meat, canned goods. Things like that. Everyone seemed really nice too, which always a plus.
Good fresh produce and good prices
This is my favorite store! The friendly staff are helpful and accommodating, the food fresh and tempting, and everything i come in, Im excited to find such a great amount of organic and high end items! Everything is priced to be affordable for those of us on a tight budget. Additionally Grocery Outlet has an assortment of vitamins, personal and gift items, kitchenware, toiletries, cosmetics, clothing, toys, stationery, vegetarian, and dairy products, wines, etc, etc, all at wonderfully discounted prices! Grocery Outlet is always the first store I shop and, I find everything I need for far less than what Id pay anywhere else.
What a gem! I love this place and all of the fantastic finds for food/groceries and even the organic selections that are way under market price. It has been a godsend to me in what I need day to day on a budget. Thanks so much for being in the area and giving those of us who need to stretch the dollar the ability to make it happen. Youre awesome!
I love it here! The staff is always a pleasure and very helpful, weve gotten to know each other. Love the gamble aspect - whats hot today? Usually really great. Sometimes not - thats what you get. Its a bargain market. An youll hear the Diddy enough to have it ringing in your dreams by the time you check out.
Good place.
This is definitely a better grocery outlet than others Ive visited. It was clean and organized and had a fairly good selection.
They mark lower prices BUT OFTEN CHARGE HIGHER AT CHECK OUT. Dishonest practice - it didnt just happen once. It literally happens every time I shop. Once I had 4 price corrections at check out, that is after I caught those...99%people would not know they are overcharged because who should bother to take note of each items price??
This place is like cheap grocery roulette. Sometimes they have really good deals on organics or specialty items. There is usually a good selection of name brand body products too. Just be cautious of expiration dates and produce that need to be used right after purchase
Love their selection and prices! Best place to buy frozen mango chunks 🥭
I try to go here every week, along with a trip to Safeway or something. You cant always rely on getting particular items you want here, but its a great place to start, to see what excellent deals they have this week. I dont recommend getting difficult to judge items from the produce section, unless you are pretty good at picking out produce. For example, I got a bag of avocados there, and they all turned out to be disgusting. However, the packaged meats, pantry, and frozen sections are really good.
I must say one thing unhappy has come up. Because of customers are a lot of at noon today, so adds a new line. I walked to the new line. A grim looking man shouted me. He was afraid I went ahead of line. But I didn’t. It was no problem which line, I am last one. So I followed behind his and smiled. He said “you fell funny.”I said “No”. Then he was very proud ,and his flesh quivered on face. He said “ your mum doesn’t tech you....”. He affronted me all the time. So I had to move to another line. I was very, very angry. I shouted out “ you are so rude. ”He was very happy. He is a abnormal, old man. Nobody was in contral. Finally I looked for the manager, but I am so mad I couldn’t say anything.
They have everything at the lowest affordable prices. Clean and spacious place to be for multiple people to move around. The staff are very friendly and treats everyone in the same matter.
Best grocery store
The kenmore store is my go to store and always shop here first and they have great prices.
5.99 elsewhere ... Well, still 5.99. Real deals are rare, the quality is low, but hey, its 99 cents
Great place to try the more expensive specialty or gourmet items at a more than reasonable price.
Bridget an Amazing employee at G.O. is why i give 5 stars. Always welcomes you treats u like family and the owner is terrific too. Thank u my Groc Outlet fam.
It had allot of cheap things I really liked the price of there orchids
Love the Kenmore location. Always clean and well stocked.
Friendly staff good prices and fun events such as wine tasting and first Thursday senior day with coffee cookies food tasting and 10 pct off whole purchase. Business needs to invest in some window shades as south facing window sunlight makes it hard to see for customers and staff.
They have the worst selection Ive seen in a grocery outlet. The lay out is weird too. The employees are very nice though
My Dad and I used to shop here together (may he rest in peace) One of the old time employees asked how my Dad was doing these days...Sadly he passed away a few years ago. The employee was really emphatetic agents passed along his deepest sympathies and said that hell pray for him! You dont get that kind of service every day?!
Great deals on good food. Nice organic/natural foods isle and some spread around the store. Great selection of stuff my family of boys without breaking the bank.
I loved it... Everyone was very helpful, the store was nice and clean and fully stocked with wonderful items. I will definitely be going back to the Kenmore location.
The service was awesome. I came in with a sprained ankle and asked for sour cream. Since it was on the other side of the store, the worker asked if she could get it for me. So sweet! Cashier was wonderful too. 😁
Love this store. They always have deals on protein powder or bars. I always end up getting more than I plan to! Also great deals on fruits and veggies, organic Seattle local bread and cereal!
Very good customer service
No real selection.
Good prices on specific things like Valentina hot sauce that I cant find in other grocery stores. Pleasant cashiers and easy to get on and out of the store.
Great prices on food. Nice staff. Love their personal products and hair care wall. Lowest prices on these items and on wine and frozen foods too!
Grocery Outlet is nice, clean & the crew there are very nice. Grocery Outlet has a nice bread & donut selection/I really do like Grocery Outlets either at home or on the Go breakfast choices/nice lunch selections /dinner very nice to!!!!
Grocery outlet hosts wine tasting events a few times a year. A great way to expand your knowledge and try different types. They all had samples of wine and chocolate to cleanse the pallet.
A discount grocery store that carries overstocked items or items that are closed to their expiration dates but not yet expired. Some of the items they carry are name brands while others are either regional or local brands. The prices are competitive but you do need to do comparison checks with the other grocers in your area. Please note they dont accept coupons. The location I go to in Kenmore, WA has ample parking. Everything is neatly arranged and the aisles are not cramped. The staff is friendly. However, since the stores are franchised, the size of the stores and parking varies. I found that they have excellent prices on eggs, bacon, frozen food, bananas, and snacks. They also carry some medications and supplements as well as seasonal items like gardening stuff as well as holiday gear. Some stores do monthly drawings for free store gift cards. All in all, they remind me of a grocery store version of Ross or TJ Maxx.
Good bargains can still be had for intelligent shoppers but its not same the as it was originally with nonstop bargains galore. It now half bargain store and half corporate franchise. They are all franchises but now the owner has to have more creativity selecting stock and displaying it in an attractive environment because the average customer is now a few rungs higher on the economic ladder. Whereas true bargain hunters whether due to circumstances or just the joy of the hunt are not adverse to a little lack of decorum. There are some risks involved buying nonstandard or distressed closeouts but if one has a modicum of experience and can understand sell by dates or label ingredients youre as safe as most anywhere else. Standard stock items are there to fill the gaps and the owners take a regular profit from them because the public expects basic items by dint of the word grocery and dont expect bargains from basics. Where one truly excels is in luxury goods and the somewhat odd stuff that is marked down purely because its taking up valuable retail space or its a tad too close to its expiration date. Learn the whole story behind expiration dates on as many different products as possible to both save money and coincidentally to stay alive as well.
Great place to shop for grocery bargains. Limited assortment and youll have to check the sell by dates. Otherwise its a nice shopping experience and such friendly staff. Recommend shopping here.
I really do like most of the store and staff...Love how there getting grass fed meats now..Love there organic fruits and vegetables as well..I hope they keep getting more and more of these items..It is usually a very pleasant experience....
THE best place for great deals on uncommon groceries. Stock changes weekly, even daily, so if you find something you like (perhaps an awesome Chilean red for $5.99) youll need to go back soon and stock up, before the inventory rotates again.
If you have grocery shopping to do, then go here first and come home with some extra money in your pocket. Staples, sundries, some produce, cheeses, and frozen items are all a fraction of the big chain grocery stores. Produce is ready to eat instead of a week away like most places.
Great bargains, friendly staff. My favorite grocery store for most of my shopping. They also have vegan, gluten free and good selection of all natural products.
