Too many rules and regulations when shopping at this store. I should have taken a picture of the signs in the front telling patrons, No facetime, no speakerphone, cant try more than three wigs, no this, no that, no kids, no food, no running, no breathing too hard, etc.I shopped here several times in the past. The very last time I went into the store to buy some braiding hair, my daughter was holding one helium balloon I just purchased and the lady in the front chased us down because she wanted my daughter to leave it at the front of the store. She said she might knock over things with it. Really??? A balloon?? We literally just walked in the store and not even a hello. I had to convince the woman that my daughter was not going to break anything with a dang balloon.I am giving them two stars because they have a decent selection of items. I will not return because I did not feel welcome and I will only support businesses that treat me like an adult, not a child.

I have been going to this hair store for years and never have a problem. I love this location and the other location off Canton. The owners are wonderful to me and my family.

I saw a roach and the manager is very rude and is very rude towards her employees.

Good customer service. The owner allowed me to purchase a wig at the last minute of closing as well as giving me a 15% discount since it was the last one. Even a small blessing is still a blessing. Awesome experience even though her husband was a little pushy it wasnt her it was him so I took a star off for that but she made up for it in the end. Overall great store!

Instead of coming here and being mistreated, I recommend you take the time to visit a store that is black owned in Cobb.There is a store literally one light away, Life Style Beauty Supply at 2090 Baker Rd #301, Kennesaw, GA 30144, in the Publix shopping plaza.Another store that is bigger but a little further is Atlanta Beauty Depot at 2388 Cobb Pkwy SE, Smyrna, GA 30080I ave patronized this stores business for several years now since I moved nearby and it is conveniently located next to Kroger where I frequently shop. The female owner has always been pleasant enough towards me, in my experience. However, the older man who also owns the shop has been rude on more than 1 occasion. And today, with everything going on in our country, I decided enough was enough. I approached the door, where the sign indicated that they close at 8:30, however the sign was off and I assumed they were closing. Before I could walk away, he opens the door looking irritated and asked what I need. And I said..hair products. He looked annoyed, but let me in, and I needed products and wanted to buy black owned brands, so I came in. I browsed for all of 5 minutes before he comes down the aisle rushing me talking about..what brand are you looking for. I explained I was looking to switch and was just seeing what my options were. He briskly told me they closed at 8. I said well, your sign said 8:30 and you let me in. He said, no 8, bluntly. I said well..I could leave and go spend my money elsewhere. He said no no..but still gave an ugly look over his shoulder. I decided though that in 2020, I would not be spending my money where I am not valued as a customer or treated with respect by all of those who profit off of my dollars being spent there.

I came in to find some crochet hair to do a quick style. I was greeted upon entrance by a team member and the owner. I was later asked in passing if I needed any help finding anything to which I said no thank you. When I brought my purchases up to the counter for out I was greeted warmly again. There was a young lady whom I believed to eb in training and she was having some difficulty ringing up my purchase. The owner guided her through it so calmly and made her feel confident and that was awesome to see. The owner even shared her seaweed wraps with me. Which by the way are a favorite snack of mine now. Overall awesome experience. There are plenty of options to choose from as far as hair and hair products. Ive been coming to Metro Beauty Supply on and off for about 2 years and Ive only had one incident with a wig try-on and that was it. If I could change anything it would be to make the wig area organized and less cluttered looking and maybe less product on the sales room floor. Its quite a lot of products and it can seem overwhelming in such a small establishment. 😊

I have never had a problem here. They carry an extensive variety of products. Anything I have looked for was available. I would suggest better variety of flat irons and dryers... but you cant have everything.

Been going to this store for years, the lady is very sweet and can answer any questions I have. She’s definitely not racist because I myself am black and she treats me with so much respect and kindess . The employees are extremely nice and knowledgeable as well . They have everything here makeup, wigs, braiding hair, products for natural hair, relaxed hair, products for guys as well as kids . So much jewelry. Anything you would want is here . This place is definitely worth my money

Overall good products. A little over priced and alot is crammed in the store. I adore beauty and makeup and hair stuff so I will not stop going into the store but Id like to say only person I like that works there and kept me feeling welcome was deneasia. When I worked here it was closest I can get to my dream with beauty and she fired me unlawfully because she didnt check her phone and seen I told her I had a virus and was in the hospital. Store is amazing but management needs help. The attitude and energy of the store has completely changed... Used to be my favorite place to laugh and buy stuff now its strictly for buying and thats it.

Literally go here every week and the owner wouldn’t let me return a ponytail I didn’t even open the back to and just bought hours before. On the receipt it doesn’t have the policy, only in the store where she doesn’t point out to customers whenPurchasing. I only wanted to exchange.Stop ripping off customers and change your selfish policies to better benefit the customers!

Today was my 2nd visit to this store. First visit was fine, found what I needed at a very good price no issues. My 2nd visit was awful and I will not return. I brought in my daughter and her BFF, both 11. I needed two things, Marley hair and needle and thread. As I was looking, the girls were two aisles over. I heard a phone ringing through the intercom and then a woman very loudly say dont play with those, dont play with those. I was caught so off guard I didnt have a thought she was doing it for my girls. I came out of the aisle and the girls had horrified looks on their faces. Apparently they had tried on a wig. That is NOT how you handle this situation. All she had to do was come to me and ask me to have them stop. Done!! Instead she embarrassed two school girls for being girls. BTW, no instructional signs anywhere. Horrible service! The two stars is for the variety and price of product.Dont mess with my girls! Learn how to provide pleasant service so you dont run away customers because you mistreat them.

They are helpful and have skills in cutting and styling the wigs. The selection is good and I can find my favorite products. Hawaiian silky is hard to find in the area but they always have a good stock.

Very friendly owner. I shopped here to buy plastic applicator bottles for specialty guitar cleaning products. They had exactly what I needed and the price was extremely reasonable.

I have been a customer for a while with this beauty supply store. The staff has always been great. However, the manager is another story. This is a very mean and disrespectful woman. I went into the store recently with my 19 month old daughter. I walked in and gave a greeting and asked the manager if they carried Loc spray. She waved me off rudely and told me to try aisle 5a. That should have made me leave. I went on down the aisle anyway. I am looking for the spray and holding my daughter the entire time. I find a product that I may be interested in, but its leaking so I look for another. I am squatting down to look and I still have my daughter in my arms. I mistakenly knock over a PLASTIC bottle while reaching for another. She comes over to me and says, Could you watch your child because she is touching all of this and these are expensive and she shouldnt be touching anything. I am first dumb founded because my daughter hasnt done anything. I tell her this and she says that she has something in her hands now. I tell her its a product that I was about to buy. She walks off and I of course put the product back because at this point I am so upset and I know that I will not be purchasing anything EVER from this store again. I am walking out the store and I couldnt leave with out telling her that what she had done to me was rude and disrespectful and was not called for. I told her that she was very condescending to me and that wasnt right. She told me to control my kids. Now, my daughter was in my arms the ENTIRE time and was the only child with me. I told her that we give you business daily and this is how you treat us.She ignored me. I have never felt so mistreated and will never give her my business again. She made an assumption and it was wrong. Thats not okay.

I live 40 minutes away and called to get a price on some hair before i made the long drive and they would not give the price over the phone. I usually shop here and always spend over $100. Even after telling them how far my travel is they still wouldnt give the price. I spoke to the owner and she was very rude. I will no longer be spending my money with them .I will find another shop

This place is terrible I do not recommend went there and bought the New York style edge control and because of the area it is always in I grabbed the wrong thing and the edge control turned out to be black so I took it back without using or anything. Obviously upon opening the bottle you can tell the item is black so there was no need for me to touch it especially when I got the one i usually have at home in front of me and could tell they were different so I take it back to exchange it mind you it was a very full bottle and hadnt been touched the Chinese older lady which I’ve never seen before but I assume she is the owner tells me their is a finger print on the gel so it can’t be exchanged now at this point I’m puzzled because not only does the receipt have policies but she had some of her own too I never touched the product and I explain this to her she says her policy is if it’s been open it can’t be returned but clearly on the receipt it says nothing of thAt matter.. so now I know she is making up things to prevent me from an exchange I’ve been going there for 2 years since living in Kennesaw and never seen her before or anything and never had such a rude expierence and the fact that she took the product back and still kept my 15.99 she is ripping people off and she needs to be shut down I’ve spent 15.99 for nothing at all because I received nothing not even the item. She also tried to show me a policy thAt is on the counter which is completely differently from the one on the receipt PLEASE DO NOT SPEND ANY MONEY AT THIS STORE YOU WILL NOT GET IT BACK NOR WILL YOU BE SATISFIED . Never going back and I don’t recommend I could just reverse the transaction but the way she acted she obviously needed that money i wish I could give it 0 stars

I used to be a regular customer until today! I never write reviews but I felt soooo descrimated against. My child, who is only 20 months old was in a stroller, and she happened to pick up a jar that was on a shelf. I didnt notice at the time and had I known I wwouldh have put it back, but before I could the owner came over and moved my stroller and toke the jar out of my daughters hand. It toke me a while to process this, but once I did I put everything product back that I was going to purchase and left the store. I have always been a respectful and a valued customer and do not allow my children to mishandle store items, or misbehave. I will NEVER go here again!!!!!! Sallys beauty supply from now on!

Just left this store. They close at 8:00pm on sat I arrived at 7:50 only to get a spray bottle. The lady told me no they only serve people who are already in there during the last 10 mins. I told her I only wanted a spray bottle and I wouldnt be browsing. She said no we open a 12 tomorrow. To me that is very bad business, sounds to me they dont appreciate their customers enough to ring up one little spray bottle. I would have paid and been out of there before 8:00 smh. I specifically looked up their closing time and went there knowing I would make it in time just for them to say no before their closing time.
