I live in Hiram but drive all the way out here. Employees are always willing to help, and you find things that are online only. Best ulta ever!
On Saturday August 28,2021 I’ve entered the store Ulta. As always, no help was issued until this one young lady by the name of Maha went out of her way to help me. She’s the ONLY reason why I’m giving this review a five star. I HATE going into an establishment and NO help is issued. Why spend my money where a greeter, smiles or positive vibes isn’t. DO BETTER ULTA!!!!
I was at the Ulta on Barrett Pwky (Kennesaw) today looking for makeup. I was greeted right as I entered the store and was acknowledged by multiple employees as I browsed. Not too overbearing but I felt like I had help close by if/when I was ready. JaLeisha is who ultimately helped me when I had questions. She was extremely helpful and patient with me. Her knowledge of products and quest to make sure I had the right color match was refreshing. Definitely a 5 star experience 🙂
Very helpful knowledgeable staff wide variety but still low in stock in some department ie; fragrance. Hopefully this will change as the economy continues to bounce back. I’ve seen a lot of other stores much worse
This location does typically have more products than others, however, there’s been more than 3 occasions that I’ve ordered online at 9 or 10 in the morning and at 4pm my order still is not ready. Suddenly after I call, to “check on my order status”, then suddenly it’s ready within 10 minutes. I preferred curbside pick up because it’s supposed to be faster and more convenient than going into the store… this location sucks with speed. Waiting all day for your order allows for these products to be sold out. More than annoying 🙄
Genesis is the sweetest! i can really tell she loves her job and she was so kind to me! she’s definitely one of the nicest workers i have ever met at a make up store
They are understaffed, but thats not entirely their fault. Unfortunately, a lot of the employees lacked knowledge in the products they sell. The only employee that knew about the products was the manager and she was extremely rude. I had asked her the difference between two similar products and it was not explained to me. I was just told which one to pick based on a vague explanation I began giving. I went to a different Ulta on Dallas Hwy where I actually received real input on the products!
Sheena the manager was great. I’ve never been helped like she did. I ran in for some quick shopping she knew what I needed and we did shopping in record time. Her suggestions were on point and I got everything she suggested. Thank you
Great selection of make up and beauty supplies at various low and high prices. Salon is in the rear of the store. The Ulta app gave move more discounts.

I have been going to Victoria in the salon for a while now. She is listens to you. She knows I change hair cuts/styles often and works with me. I recently decided to try a ASymmetrical hair style and Victoria has been great. She always will ask what do you think? Do you want to have this side longer/shorter, do you want this area stacked more? She is superb and Ulta is very lucky to have an expert like this working for them. If she ever leaves Ulta I probably will too. That is how much I like her.
Always friendly, bright and well stocked. They have the most variety, options and varieties of products especially for persons of color!

I am a very understanding person when it comes to the rules for Covid. However, one of my visits to ulta recently really frustrated me. My sister and I came in and she was wearing a face shield (due to a medical reason she cannot wear a face mask) the ladies asked if she had a mask and we explained that she wears the shield due to medical reasons and they still wouldn’t budge. They said it wasn’t considered a face covering. We aren’t the type of people to make a scene, so we decided to leave. As we were walking out they started laughing at us. I know they were laughing at us because we were the only ones in the store and also they were looking directly at us while laughing. I’m disappointed in the way these ladies chose to treat us. Like I said, I am an understanding person when it comes to Covid. I want to follow the rules and make sure everyone is safe and protected. However, it is unnecessary to laugh and be rude to someone who is genuinely trying to do the right thing. My sister stays home all the time because of her medical condition. We try to go out every once and awhile when she feels stir crazy. So it just upsetting to see people treat her that way.
Asked for highlights was told to pick a toner and I said to match with the highlights I was getting touched up. She took that to mean no toner and charged me $120 for highlights not to show up and for zero styling product to be put in my hair waste of time and money just go elsewhere
Lots, too much to choose from! They carry all the biggest name brands, as well as their own brand products.Store was extremely clean and organized. All the employees were wearing masks. And masks are required in order to shop there.They have the new makeup lines from Kyle Jenner and Kim Kardashian.Handicap parking is available and entry.They have a hair salon inside the store.They carry all the beauty and hair products that you need.
I love shopping at Ulta; however, I’ve had many poor experiences at this location. Rude cashiers, poor customer service, and now my most recent experience of locking the doors 20 minutes before close. I placed an order for pickup and drove to pick it up after class (I’m a college student). I made sure to check hours online at the Ulta website and Google, both said Barrett Pavilion location closed at 7:00 pm Monday through Saturday. I arrived at 6:40 to pick up an item, which would have been an in and out trip; however, the doors were locked upon my arrival. As someone who also works retail, I completely get the want to close early when business is slow, but I get paid to keep the store open until closing hours. I’m very disappointed in the service at this location.

Great place for hair and skin products. They always say welcome when i walk in the door. The girls are always real helpfull especially for men like myself that dont know what there doing.
I placed an online order on 5/13/2020 and arrived at the store before 6:00 pm. I noticed that when I pulled up at the curbside an associate came outside and completely ignored me and moved the curbside pickup box back into the store. She did not acknowledge me at all. I then called the store numerous times and my calls were unanswered as I waited outside for over 15 minutes. I saw that there was at least 6 associates in the front of the store and 2 by the door. I came near the door (still far enough away to keep social distancing guidelines) and one associate lifted her arms and made an X sign and yelled to me incoherently. The associate who saw me at the curbside was also near the door and I said to her You saw me waiting for over 15 minutes and ignored me. She then shrugged her shoulders and said I dont care, we are closed. I said You all were not closed when I got here. She then rolled her eyes and then leaned on the door and proceeded to lock it while continuously mouthing We are closed in a very rude and defensive manner. She was also rolling her neck and rolling her eyes at me again. I felt like a customer who was not valued or respected and will not be patronizing this store again. I have been a loyal customer for years and have never been treated this poorly. I am also a registered nurse who is working hard to keep our country safe at this time and the amount of disrespect I experienced is extremely hurtful. I did return on today, 5/14/20, to pick up my order without incidence but this will be the last time I will return to this location.
Folks are incredibly friendly and helpful at this store. Clean, well staffed, well stocked, large amount of available parking in a clean and well lit parking lot. I enjoy being able to enter barefaced and leave in full make up. Thats the great part of having everything out to try before you buy.

I go here quite often and I love this location! The staff is very kind and helpful to me no matter what I am there for...makeup, eyebrows, hair products etc.Also, the salon is always willing to work with my schedule and make sure that I have a great experience with them. I get blowouts done and I absolutely love how they turn out. I would call out someone specific, but the truth is they are all so good I can’t pick just one person. I trust them all with my hair. The women that work in the salon are patient, kind, and really do care if I am truly happy with how my hair looks when I leave. As long as nothing changes, I will continue to come back as long as they will have me!!💜💜
They were lacking inventory. The atmosphere was not as friendly as before. Not a productive trip. Next time I will call first.
This store is around the corner from where I work, but I never go here. I would prefer to drive to the Avenues location. This store is cramped. Everything is always messy. The staff sometimes are really sweet, other times, they will walk right by you. The displays are always gross. I worked here for a holiday season about 3 years ago, which only solidified my coming here as little as possible. I tried to keep things organized while I was there, only to have it trashed by my next shift.I go to the target and other stores in the area plenty, but actively avoid this location. I understand that they are one of the first locations in the south and one of the highest grossing locations for years. They do not seem to take that seriously. I still love Ulta as a company and will continue to shop here over Sephora, just not this location. To messy and unprofessional. Take pride in your work.
My sister and I came in here about 15 minutes before close but we went straight to what we wanted to look at and made a decision on foundation for me. Its one minute to close and there are several people in the store. The associate walks directly to me and says I locked the doors. I stare at her, confused, and she says with the meanest look on her face were closed! So bring your stuff up to the front to check out. WHAT was that? She also didnt approach anyone else in the store. I immediately left without my purchase because of how rude she was! Yes they had JUST closed, but it was clear she did not want to be friendly or nice to us and there were still OTHER shoppers in the store!! Makes you wonder why she chose us to walk up to and be so rude to. Ill go to Sephora instead, thanks.
Normally they are amazing but dont schedule anything super important with them. I scheduled my wedding hairstyle with them weeks in advanced and they canceled on me 3 days before my wedding! No ulta in the area can take me I ended up going to a different salon that charged 20 bucks more because I had no choice. Not to mention Ive been going to Ulta for years and I trust them with my hair. I have to go to a complete stranger now!
The staff was not very helpful. I asked two different people for assistance and they both said they would help in just a moment but then they never returned. I watched this happen to two other customers in the store. The only reason I give this store two stars is because of the very nice young lady that was checking us out. She seemed to be the only one there with a smile.
Its my fault really. I keep coming thinking the staff will be helpful and not follow you around until you ask a question then they ghost. This location is a bigger offender than thw others.If I am willing spend over $200 in makeup, please act like you want my money. Rude rude rude

I called today to book an appointment and selected to be connected to the services area; the phone then rang and rang. I eventually hung up and called the front desk line instead. The person who answered said that the person who works in that area was heading back and that she was putting me back on hold. After I was on hold for several minutes more, a person’s voice came on the line and immediately put me back on hold. I called the front of the store line back and described what happened, and stated that I would not be booking an appointment and that they need to learn some customer service skills.
I come here purely for convenience and will not be back. This is the second time I’ve been in and the entire staff is rude. The last time I was there I bought at least $200 worth of product and the cashier was extremely rude and not helpful. I decided to give it another try hoping it was an off day. Just ran into grab some mascara they are completely sold out. I asked a worker who was literally standing there doing nothing if they had any in the back. She looked me up and down and said ‘nope’ like I was the idiot for asking. Why are you even in this industry? They are always sold out of every make up line and have horrible customer service. Please shop online at Sephora or the actually brand your looking to buy. There is no reason to go into a store and be treated like so poorly. I’m not saying they need to roll out the red carpet, but a little courtesy would be nice.
If you like playing with makeup actually try the Ulta brand makeup. They have some beautiful eyeshadow foils and do buy 2 get 2 free.
Sometimes it can be hard to get what you came here for, but I think its more based on the location as its pretty densely populated around this area. However, the employees always greet you and are eager to help you in anyway they can. The store is pretty well kept and set up nicely.
I went in and saw Victoria for a cut/style and all over color, and she was AMAZING !! So nice and asked me what I thought EVERY step of the way! She made me feel right at home! Great service and I love my new hair 😍!
I went to this store as a novice to makeup and I must say that stores like this give retail a terrible name.How do they stay in business? Yet they are full of customers? Have a coupon? It only works on some stuff. Wanna find something inexpensive? Not here.Get the full expensive experience in a full strip mall experience.Customer service is shallow with the bonds of corporate rules shackling any chance of good customer service. They can smile and have a cheerful demeanor but thats it.On a positive note they did appear to have a lot of selection but I would not know. They just had a lot of makeup.
I have always had a great experience at this store and I have been coming for years now. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the products and the current sale. Plus, everything is clean and organized at this store. Thanks to the staff here, I have found many products and tools that I use every day. I havent tried the salon so I cant speak for that, but this Ulta is my tried and true location.
I drove here from over an hour away because a lady on the phone told me I could get help choosing some makeup. I wander in store for a long while, with no one ever asking if I needed anything or even offering to help once they become available. I finally asked the cashier if someone could help me pick a kit and the most she did was walk me to the location and say “They’re all right here.”I am no longer interested in switching my entire makeup collection over to Ulta’s products.
Great staff following Covid procedures and great sales
I went in for an eyebrow appointment. I told Jessica exactly how I needed them done in which she agreed to do . However she proceeded to do my eyebrows the way she wanted to do it . She also told me they didn’t have the tint she normally used for brows . She then asked me color what I wanted, I told her brown . Yet she still used black . I don’t understand why she asked me if again she was going to do it the way she wanted to. I told the manager at the end and she said “I’m sorry . “. As if sorry could fix anything . Needless to say I was stuck with an overly priced eyebrow and tint cost $45 and a terrible job . Thank you Ulta for teaching me a valuable lesson today. Never again.
They have a very friendly staff who are always there to help you with whatever you need. Theres a actual salon, an area where they do your makeup and one that i did not expect, a skin specialist! She evaluates your skin and recommends products from her line and in the store based on your specific skin needs. She also does facials for $10 and chemical peels for $50. Its like a Sephora but with more options.
Very friendly and easy to purchase the gift I picked out. I wish Target and Walmart would have as many registers open at one time as Ulta did. Thank you for staffing according to the season. I appreciate your valuing my time by having enough employees to work the registers.
Tish is absolutely great with my daughter. She takes her time and my daughter loves coming to see aunty Tish to get her her done.
I used to be a loyal Ulta buyer, but too many bad experiences have made me rarely go there any more. I cant speak for all Ultas but this one will push the most expensive item and then say that is what I need, so I buy it.... Try it, and its terrible for me. Ive even tried to use coupons for my free gifts that I would get online, if I buy certain items, but they said you could use in the store. They gave me attitude and refused to give me it.

Clean place with friendly staff willing to help. Per my receipt, Dorciah was my cashier tonight and she was so kind and efficiently checked the last few customers out for the night.
This location as always been helpful in helping me find what I need. Only once did they not have what I was looking for, but they found me another location for me too get the product and they had the other store put it on hold for me.
A wide selection of makeup. The staff can be a little nicer and offer more help. I felt like they might have offered more help if I was wearing makeup when I went to the store.

Worst customer service!! If you need help with something, forget it! Employees act inconvenienced if you dare ask for help and are relatively short. I get that the location is generally busy, but there doesn’t seem to be a shortage of employees around. If you are looking to be color matched, they’ll throw anything on your face and tell you that it looks good. They just want to be done helping you as quickly as they can. I hate malls, but this location is pretty much forcing me to go to Sephora.
I’ve had better shopping experiences at Walmart. Really need to teach customer service at this store. Completely nonexistent.

Having worked in customer for a life time, i am ALWAYS caught off guard by just how rude the majority of the ladies that work at this location are. I understand having a bad day once in a while but it every time I come here I am met with nasty looks and am otherwise dismissed entirely.One of you CS reps on the floor suggested that I go Sephora instead and that is EXACTLY what I plan on doing. That is best advice Ive ever revived from this store.Corporate would be wise to asses morale here or at least treat your ladies to a date night a Swinging Richards because the shade being thrown in this location is astonishing. Other store locations have not been so discourteous. I 100% regret giving my hard earned money to an over glorified drugstore run by grown ass women acting like a bunch bubble gum chewing, tweenagers. Really though, enough is enough. What a sincere disappointment. I will not be back. EVER. Good riddance to all you.

There is a stylist there that works in the salon department of this Ulta & I am very disappointed on how she was first snobby & then carried on about how dry my hair is. Then I tell her just a tiny trim nothing too major like maybe 1 inch nothing more, When I tell you I walked out in tears I LITERALLY WALKED OUT IN TEARS. My hair was past my bra & she didnt just trim my precious hair I have been forever trying to grow out long and beautiful taking folic acid & even washing it with the best shampoo & conditioner from Sallys Beauty Supply. She trimmed it up to my shoulders she had to have at least cut 6-7 inches off!!!!!If you love your long hair & you want someone who is not going to be a snob DO NOT have Ava Jones TOUCH YOUR HAIR. You will regret it!!!!!!

The place is a mess and not well staffed. Every display was trashed and not well stocked. Dont bother testing products, as the test counters were worse. Filthy. One register for a very long line of customers.
Never could get anyone to help me with questions I had on a product. When I finally found someone, she was new and didnt know the answer. She was the only one working except for the cashier and I was told that the manager could not help because she was busy. Was on a friday night and it was packed with only two people working and the manager could not be disturbed.

I normally don’t do this but the management and communication skills at this store SUCK! if you’re ever looking for a job here just consider another Ulta. i was initially hired here by Maya who is the “manager” in the beauty department. i disclosed to her that i was in the Army Reserves prior to her hiring me and that i will be gone for a month training. she agreed that, that’ll be fine. i was hired after bringing in somebody to perform a facial and waxing service (which she didn’t even watch me thoroughly do). once i was hired here i notice the Esthetician who was there before me was VERY unsanitary. i’m talking hair in the wax, built up product on bottles, tools were not cleaned and sterilized properly after each client and towels that are used for clients hair were being used for the face. i knew immediately i needed to come in and clean properly before i went forward with anything. after coming in a couple of days later to clean we were on the same page and i was excited to start my Esthetician career here at Ulta once i completed my Army training. i get back after the training to text her about setting up my availability for work and she completed ignored my message. after 24 hours i still heard nothing fromMaya so i text her again and she responded that my position was filled. so very unprofessional and such a waste of my time!
DO NOT GET A HAIRCUT HERE!! I got a haircut at this ulta a couple months ago by the MANGER (you would think she would be the best one considering I paid extra for her to cut my hair) The entire time she was cutting my hair she was having multiple conversations with different employees not even focusing on what she’s doing. I was fine with the hair cut because I asked for her to curl it afterward so I didn’t really get to see what it truly looked like. After I showered, I noticed that MY LAYERS WERE UNEVEN like to the point where it looked like I cut it myself with a pair of kitchen scissors. I went in there the next day and asked if I can make other appointment for them to fix it because I knew it would be free. The lady at the desk was super rude to me and had an attitude when I told her that my hair looked awful. After that, I finally got someone to fix my hair there and even they said that my haircut was really really uneven and she will fix it the best she can.Till this day I hate the way my hair looks but I guess I had it coming for me getting a haircut at ulta....

Horrible service.. went to the cosmetic section saw three employees just chatting.. all three of them ignored the fact that I needed assistance.... whats the point of having people if they dont want to do their jobs 👎

I went there last week and it was my first time at this location. All I can say is: Good luck trying to get help from a sales associate! Ive never had such bad customer service in my life. Next time Ill just go to Sephora.
I had a very sweet stylist but unfortunately had a pretty awful experience. Asked to have a cut and very subtle highlights. Left with huge brassy blonde streaks in my hair starting an inch from my hairline. Even the haircut was choppy and uneven and all I asked for was a 1 1/2 trim. Paid FAR too much for what I got. Had to go pay another salon and get the weird dye job fixed.
This was my 3rd and final visit to this Ulta, which is upsetting because its the only one in my area. Each time I visited the store I left saying never again. First and most important Ulta need to teach their associates the importance of their customers. I dont expect the red carpet when I walk through the door, but do expect to be respected. I work for a retailer and we operate from an inverted pyramid perspective in that our customers are absolutely the most important aspect of our company. When a customer walks through Ultas doors they shouldnt just received an absent-minded Welcome greeting from a cashier who could no more tell you if the customer was black, white or zebra. On all three of the trips to this shop Ive had to maneuver around chatting associates, all of which diverted their attention by positioning their backs to me. Dont want to help me? Thats fine - but get out of the way! This last trip was on my lunch hour. I was the third person in line with one person working the cash register and another associate standing behind her chatting her up so she couldnt focus on the customer. The cashier is chatting with her associate rather than making eye contact with the customer, instead of engaging the customer in conversation as to their experience in the store, if they found all they were looking for. The cashier turned to the chatty associate to ask if a coupon that was mass issued to a customer was eligible. The cashier decided the purchase wasnt eligible and the customer had the same thing I did. Once I arrived to the register (24 minutes later) I reached for my phone for the coupon and the cashier began stating it wasnt eligible. I asked her to tell me why it wasnt. The chatty associate said, Oh, its eligible. So I was discounted 20%, but that customer ahead of me was not. This type customer care is inexcusable. I have a mind to write Ulta and offer my services as a secret shopper with my phone recording the experience. They pay a pretty penny to rent that retail space and if it were my business I would clear the lot of them and hire people that actually understand the value of customers.
Clean environment. Wish they they had purse hooks in the bathroom... Friendly staff who seem knowledgeable about products and promotions.

Every time I go in here I wish I had just gone to Sephora. I can never find what Im looking for and can never find help. I dont think the employees could care less if they tried. Huge disappointment but this is why people prefer online shopping these days.
This Ulta has the worst staff because of how rude they are. The ladies here always have an attitude and are never helpful. I don’t understand what their problem is. I go to the Woodstock Ulta now because the staff is always sweet and genuine! They seriously need to get a whole new staff and get it together!
I used to hate going to this ulta, because of how cluttered and disorganized it was months ago. A lot of their products didnt restock for weeks, so I would go to the Woodstock location instead, even though it was out of the way. BUT recently (during early summer), the store reorganized their aisles and they dont look as messy anymore. I can actually find the products I use! Also, there was a nice sales associate that took the time to find me a good primer for my very dry skin (unfortunately, I didnt know her name)
I swear I have never experienced such rude customer service in my life. Not only are they incredibly rude, but also extremely ignorant. I will be taking my business elsewhere (Sephora & drug stores). Hopefully the new location in West Cobb will have decent employees.

Super rude staff- including the managers! Came in today to exchange almost $200 worth of stuff and the manager was so rude when we walked in that I returned everything and walked out. And will not be back, I’ll start spending more for my products and buying my Paul Mitchell products from my actual salon. My son and I walked in (he wasn’t wearing a mask because he’s 6 and has severe asthma). The manager told me he needed to wear one, to where I responded “he’s only 6 and has asthma so he cannot wear one.” The manager then says they require everyone 2 and over to wear a mask and handed him a mask. I double checked their signs and the company policy and no where does it state 2 and up need masks. I also want to point that if you have a medical condition that prevents wearing a mask (asthma for instance) then a business cannot force you to wear one which her handing my 6 year old one is her essentially forcing him... needless to say I will not be back!
Its a good store, but they sell drug store makeup that you could get at Walmart or Target for at least a dollar less.

I don’t usually post negative reviews mainly because I’ve been in retail management for nearly a decade and I understand that there are “off” days and uncontrollable events that can lead to a bad customer experience. But YIKES.The staff is indifferent and unhelpful, the store is dirty and the testers are atrocious. One of the fragrance testers was smashed and the fragrance was spilled everywhere. All but one of the items I came for were out of stock, which isn’t the store’s fault but still frustrating.Reading these reviews, I can see that these have all been ongoing issues for at least the last 3 years. I can’t say that that’s surprising, no good talent could remain in that store without succumbing to the overall low morale or leaving.I’m sure that this is a high volume location, so my question is: What is your district manager doing? What is your regional director doing? I’m sure your HR manager and your customer experience team have been contacted..what are they doing?This isn’t just the fault of one general manager, there is an entire chain of people that aren’t doing their jobs properly and allowing customer dissatisfaction to turn away future sales. The beauty industry is booming right now, consumers have many options to choose from. Sephora, MAC, Amazon, Nordstrom, Macy’s, brand’s personal websites- consumers can purchase the same prestige cosmetics from a multitude of places and drugstore brands from their local Walmart.Greeting your customers is bare minimum, being available for assistance is bare minimum, maintaining a neat and tidy store is bare minimum. Get it together.
I rarely do this but the customer service sucks! No one offers to help and when I finally got someone to help she did not go out of her way. The product I was looking for not available. I asked if she could call one of the stores in that area and she said I cant as i dont have their numbers????? Said I have no phone to help with that at this time. I will never ever go back to this store! I drove over to the closest store where I was greeted with a smile and a how can I help you. As I walked through the store 3 other individuals asked if they could assist me. The folks at the Barrett location need to visit the Woodstock store for a lesson in customer service.
Horrible return policy and customer service. I wanted to exchange the exact product that I purchased because the liquid in the booties burst into the packet it was sold. The rep proceeded to tell me I needed to pay the difference of the lowest purchased price someone else paid (because I didnt have my receipt), which was a difference of $6 on a $7 product!! Excuse me, your product is defective and you want me to pay you? Im confused. After clearly being upset and not accepting those terms, she did an even exchange. However, I will NOT return as a customer. Id rather drive further down the steet and go to Sephora.
The staff are friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of products and they carry Tonymoly which makes me really happy.
A great selection. Few drugstore brands that are hard to find in stores are displayed here (Catrice, Flower Beauty, LA Girl, Milani, Colourpop).
Great customer service, the brow bar personwent out of her way to help me with things that were out of her area.
Great experiences with this store. Always friendly and knowledgable staff. Also, I utilize the spa services. Leslee is a Master Hairstylist and she gave me a great cut!
The salon is amazing! Maya and Kelsey just transformned my hair from ugly orange to a beautiful natural blonde. And the prices are better than the fancy dancy places that charge a small fortune. The quality of your hair is also their main concern! Very very happy!

This ulta in kennesaw is the worst one. The staff is so rude they work there but they dont want to help you. You ask them a question and they give you an attitude and that is piss poor customer service. I walked in and walked right back out there was attitude right off the back. If you dont like your job then leave . Nobody there is friendly even to the people who dont know much about makeup they dont even want to help them out. Now this isnt everybody that works there but its the majority like the manager and the cashiers are the worst. So I will be taking my money to the new ulta for now on. Thank you.
If I could give no stars- I would. The only people you HAVE to deal with, are the cashiers and unfortunately they put someone very rude in front. If I hadnt been in a rush I would have so gladly took my buisness else where and, please, you do the same. I had a return, which had only been 2 weeks since purchase which was within the realm of returning, brought it back, WITH the receipts, and had simply thought I paid in cash, so she said do you have your debt card ? I said I think I paid in cash, to which she responded it says here you didnt so do you have your debit card in the most awful, foul, and nasty way you could. I wish google had a voice input because honey- if you could hear how she- just let me stop. I brought back a foundation that was too light so I went to get my color, found a different brand I liked at a little cheaper, got back in line and thought i had points, they had been too far deducted after the return which i hadnt known. So I ask if I can spend my points and again in that tone you dont have points. I. HAVE. POINTS. maybe not enough but honey i know I have them because it shows balance before the purchase. Just long story short dont even stop in here. Dont waste your time, this experience was not great. Which is so unfortunate because every other ulta uve been to has been fantastic, Id leave yall her name, however she conveniently had it covered up. I 10/10 would NOT recommend you go here. Left a bad taste in my mouth.
In 2015, where there is obviously a climate of racial injustice---no place of business can risk the chance of even appearing discriminatory. This was only my third time in an Ulta Beauty, but 1st time at this location---and the customer service is appalling. I dont know how or who trains these women who work here---but they are in serious need of a workshop either in DIVERSITY and or customer care. I came in here with my 2 year old son, looking to purchase an eyebrow pencil. I had bought over $100 of items just the weekend before at another ULTA location, and was pleased with my buys. But after todays experience, not only am I planning to return those items for a refund---but I will likely never patronize this franchise again. I was completely ignored the entire time I was there; even after visibly searching the aisles and making eye contact with several associates---whom never parted their lips to ask if I needed help with anything. And to add insult to injury---two Caucasian women walk up---and are assigned an associate immediately. And the associate who assisted them, had walked by me about 3 times---never inquiring about me at all. I ended up having to ask for someone to help me, and even then---was told, by this associate that eyebrow pencils werent her area. I left pissed. And disturbed. No one wants to hear the race card being tossed around---but if it quacks like a duck, looks like a duck---well dammit--its a damn duck. Im not interested in any freebies, or coupons. I just want to be treated fairly. My money is GREEN just like everyone elses.

Blonde manager extremely rude
I was matched incorrectly for a smash box product and was super bummed to have waisted $42. Being as busy as I am, I didnt have time to take it back immediately so I had to use it for a week or two. I went back expecting to have to pay for a replacement but the ladies matched me correctly again and refunded my previous purchase even though it was used! Reason 263830 why I will always buy my makeup here!
