When I entered the store the clerk was helping a very chatty lady. After that, he never even greeted me let alone asked if he could be of assistance (I was at the paint samples and he never left from behind the counter). After a while a painter entered and from what I could hear, he was helpful. Was it because he knew I wasn’t going to make a purchase? Most Sherwin stores are this way;only catering to people who they know are going to buy. With the job situation, I’m sure someone much more helpful and deserving would love a job.
If you are just a regular person trying to buy some paint for your house, dont even bother. They dont have samples unless its their most popular 75 paint colors, and for those samples it will will cost you $3.95 because all they have are peel and stick. Just save yourself the trip and go to Lowes. Thats where they sell all the Sherwin Williams paint for regular consumers.

I walked in on a Sunday at 4:50pm. I went to the register to ask a question. The cashier answered real short and walked away. He let me stand there waiting for him to finish what he was doing to then tell me he can’t help me because his register was going to shut off in 15 seconds at 5pm. Never heard of a register just shutting off on its own. Not only that, he was very rude and unapologetic about it. I will never be back there. Got GREAT customer service on Bells Ferry, so I guess that’s where I will go from now on.

Went in for some paint chips. An employee gave me some useful information on my project.
I requested and paid for a color consult. The fee was $150 which included a $50 gift card. The consultant came out unfortunately the meeting was scheduled for only one hour and we were unable to get through our entire home with color selections. We also were not even able to get through sheens. To make matters worse,We went to Sherwin-Williams to pick up our paint and we were told that they did not have a $50 gift card and we had to wait for one of their associates to come back from out of town to receive it. This caused us to have to put our painter on hold. This is poor customer service, they can clearly see in their records that we paid them $150 they can clearly see that our consultant came out to consult on color however they are unable to give us our gift card.
Went to try and get some samples to match a room already painted. They gave me a total kit to use and return, even though I dont buy anything. Had some of their paint leftover which ended up using. Best paint, one coat covered over a very dark wall.

I found it sub par I can get the same brushes at home depot for a better price. I was in there for 15 minutes looking around waiting to ask about paint but the guy at the counter was ringing the only other customer up that whole time. Finally another customer came in and another associate came out to help him so u finally left. They may be great and I just tried the wrong time.
Im a novice at painting and the manager, Shanta Ballard, was EXTREMELY helpful. I will only go there now for my painting needs.
