I have worked with Elizabeth at Mitchell Carpets on my living room, hall, and bedroom carpeting as well as having luxury vinyl flooring installed in my kitchen, lower hall, and stairs recently. Going into the store is always a pleasant experience with a wide selection from several companies. The flooring was in stock so I had a new floor within two weeks. I think its important to do business with a local, family-owned business and I know that they will always stand by their work.

Extremely happy! I went in, not knowing exactly what I wanted to do....owners were so helpful. I ended up replacing all my carpet with a beautiful LVF, and carpeted 2 bedrooms. The 2 installers did a wonderful job, the molding they installed matches exactly what was in place. wouldnt shop anywhere else!

We chose Mitchell Carpets when replacing our living room and dining room carpet. They were so professional, yet offered personalized service. Elizabeth helped us choose carpet samples to bring home, based on what we wanted. We even went back for other samples when our first choices didnt work out.In the meantime, Mitch came out to measure and look at our heavy furniture that we would need help moving on installation day.We choose a beautiful carpet that we had to order, but in would be in pretty quickly. To our surprise it came in a week early!On installation day two installers came, moved our heavy furniture, tore out and disposed of our old carpet, and installed the new Shaw carpet. They vacuumed the freshly installed carpet and then moved the heavy furniture back in place. They even helped take our piano off our dollies. Just outstanding guys!We are thrilled with the results and would highly recommend Mitchell Carpet for their exceptional service.My husband said, It was a piece of cake!

We had our home carpeted by Mitchell Carpets and were very pleased with their products and helpful, friendly service. That is why we returned to Mitchell for tile for our two bathrooms. They were able to order the tile we wanted and did a great job of installing it. We are extremely happy with the tile and the installation. I called for a quote for commercial carpet in an office and was not impressed. Instead of taking any information or being connected to a sales person, I was just told I could visit the showroom. Which is 20 minutes from my office and open only during the hours I work or 3 hours on Saturdays. That seemed very unprofessional to me for a commercial quote worth $25k+

Absolutely love my new carpet. The service was point blank the best I ever had the owners played with my kids as me and my wife where looking at carpet choices. They took time to listen to what we needed and what our budget was and lets face it no company really cares what you have to say they just want a sale but not them. The install team was very nice and fast, they made sure that we were happy with everything. That next day I noticed something that I didnt like and they sent a crew out right away to fix my issue. I highly recommend Mitchell carpets for your next flooring job.

Mitchell Carpets are great. They just installed carpeting in my master bedroom. From the selection process to the installation, it was flawless. They have a wide range of carpets to choose from and their installation crew is terrific. They were in and out so quickly, moved furniture and cleaned up afterwards. They did my living/dining area two years ago and were terrific then, too. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Fantastic service from the moment we walked in the door! Elizabeth helped me pick the perfect carpet while Mitch stole my husband and showed him what were going to do in the next room! Lol! We replaced the carpeting on the main level of our ranch home with Luxury Vinyl Tile in Nov of this year and we love it! It was a huge decision but we are so happy we did it. From delivery of the product from Jeff and Mitchell themselves to communication from Elizabeth - calling with reminders and then following up to see how the install was going and then the final follow up to make sure we were satisfied - gave us a feeling of old fashioned customer service that you dont experience much anymore. Amadore, the installer, and his co-workers were ultimate professionals. They were extremely efficient with their knowledge and time and they left things better than they found them. We would highly recommend using Mitchell Carpets if you are considering new flooring.

My biggest carpet hunting regret is that we didnt come here first!! The family was so inviting, friendly, and extremely helpful!! Elizabeth took her time to explain the different flooring options and was very helpful with matching colors. Jeff took the time out to explain flooring techniques, knowing we are new to all this. He didnt rush the explanation, nor seem annoyed when we asked a million questions. Mitchell came out to do the measurements, he was fast and explained the easiest way to lay the luxury vinyl planks!! Unfortunately, I did not get the installers names but those 2 men came in and put work in!!! Im in love with the carpet!!! Seams are perfect!!! They explained to me how to put dividers in when done with planks!!! Thanks Mitchell Carpets!!! I know we will return for any more flooring needs!!

Me and my fiancé went in this past Friday to look at different carpet options for three bedrooms and schedule a measurement! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and immediately felt welcome! As soon as we left someone was able to come do the measurement and not even an hour later we were called with pricing! Later on that day we went back in and set up a time to have the carpet installed later this week! I can not recommend them enough! MITCHELL INSTALLERS showed up on time and did a fabulous job installing a solid maple floor in our upstairs hallway. The guys worked all day and cleaned up everything. They even tightened up the carpet on the stairs. Dont think I would even shop anywhere else.

Last month, we were searching for carpet companies to replace the carpet in our bedrooms as well as tile for our hallway bathroom. After researching some companies, we decided to contact Mitchell Carpets in Kenosha, WI. The entire process from start to finish was seamless and hassle-free. Mitchell came out to our home to take measurements (he even arrived eariler than scheduled) which took no time at all. After selecting the type of carpet and tile we wanted, the date was scheduled for July 20th at 8:00am. Like Mitchell, the two carpet/tile layers arrived eariler than 8am. Both men were very professional and the entire process only about six hours to complete. If youre looking to replace carpet or tile in your home and live in the Southeast WI/Lake County, IL area, we highly recommend contacting Mitchell Carpets as everyone here was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end.
