Went to the Divers Direct in Key Largo. Wow what an amazing selection of gear. Very nice and very very helpful staff members.Capt. Sonny helped outfit my wife with a great set of gear. Took time to show us different options, made sure the gear fit her well. Didnt try to up sell us. I was so happy with the customer service we received, I thought it was the perfect time to replace my aged gear! He went through options with me made sure the gear fit me correctly.Then, once we had our selections, he assembled everything, setup the dive computer and showed us how to use it! Who does that?! Youre not going to get that type of service and knowledge from an online store. Other staff assisted us as well, another thank you to Stephen and Mary!Out of all the scuba shops weve stopped at, hands down the best experience! Thank you staff at DD Key Largo!

Came to this store 6 years ago when we started scuba diving. Got our wetsuits here, and a few other necessities. Truly a good place for dive gear.Fast forward to 2021. Went in to look at wetsuits and UW camera things.The place now is pretty much a beach clothing store with dive gear as a 2nd thought.Sadly, we wont be going back when in Key Largo.

Sort of a one stop shop. The STAFF was super helpful and I never want the staff to bother me.I would believe their prices might be on the high side to cater to tourists. But the womens beach clothes were cute and creative but, they could care less for 50 years old ladies who dont wanna wear string bikinis !

They have everything you need for diving, snorkeling, spear fishing and lobstering. They carry underwater cameras and dive clothing from all the top brands.

Its like a toys-r-us for diving! Unrivaled selection and professionalism. Prices seem competitive and well organized. Definitely worth a visit for any diver, snorkeler, or fan of water sports.

If youre a diver this is the place to go. Store is large, probably 50,000 sq. ft. I started going to Divers Direct stores more than 30 years ago. Good quality products, solid reputation, very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Katrina and Randy were great.👍

Dangerous place for divers. Could easily spend a ton of money here. They have a wide selection of goods.

After 10 days of diving in the Keys, we stopped at Divers Direct to look around and price some gear. The facility was clean and displayed well. I liked that you could ship for free since we didnt plan on packing dive gear home. The unfortunate part, in the hour that I was there, not one person asked if I needed help.

This store is absolutely amazing! I’m like a kid in a candy shop. From the selection, to the price and customer service it’s simply the best. I just stopped shopping at these little dive shops, they are always wanting you to buy whatever they happen to have. Divers direct give you the knowledge they have the inventory and the price is always the best. Can you tell I’m excited about this place! I was just there today.

Stephen is a great salesperson, yall should more like him. I need an employee or associate, like him in my businesses in NYC, Boston, or here in Miami. I entered to buy only a $19.00 mesh diving bag for my snorkeling gear. Ended buying a pair of $159.00 Costa sunglasses and a SeaLife Underwater housing for my Iphone 12 Max. For a total of $500 +. Im returning, this week, to purchase a Citizens Watch $375 and also a $800+ BC to today from Miami for my diving trip off the coast of Maine. I hope he gets a commission based on sales. Keep up the great job and suggestive selling!

They sold one of my family members a mask that was a horrible fit. When we tested it in the pool it leaked like crazy. We attempted to return it however the staff was rude at first with us...We went just down the road to Sea Dwellers and ended up buying a mask with them. They took the time to explain how to clean the mask, and even prepped it for us!Divers Direct is just too big... they are the walmart of diving.

Shay and JL really hooked us up, Shay was very honest with a wealth of knowledge. JL could have been a stand-up comedian and made the visit very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place.

Great place for last minute shopping for dive gear/ boating supplies

Wanted to buy a regulator and computer package The Sales associate ( was a man ) I was so impressed I didnt get his name.He could have cared less he pointed to a case full of regulators and saidPick out whatever you like and walked off. I paid for a key chain my wife wanted and left. Wont ne buying anything from them again!

My friend and I each went in to buy our first full set of dive gear. After not finding the specific items we were looking for at a few dive shops and extended shipping times we went to Diver’s Direct. Captain Ron (aka Sonny) :-) helped us to select the gear that fit our budget and needs. He didn’t push high-end expensive items on us and listened to what we wanted and offered guidance. He took the time to walk us through the care of our equipment and did a safety check of the entire set-up. He was very personable and extremely knowledgeable!

The Walmart of Diving gear stores. Helpful staff, that always seem to be happy to be there. A great selection with reasonable prices. Look for the large divers flag out front.

This was an unplanned stop on our way to Key West. My boyfriend needed some information on diving gear, and I ended up buying more than he did! Mary in particular is wonderful, personable, professional, and knowledgeable.

Incredibly large selection of diving / snorkeling gear. Their staff knows their stuff and will step forward to share their knowledge, telling you explicitly how the gear fits and / or doesnt fit the characteristics of your body / face.

Friendly staff, and the largest selection on gear you could think of. Total tourist trap for an awesome adventure that hits your pockets. Only detractor would be the price, but if you scuba, youre probably used to expensive gear. I did see that they had multiple deals on some gear packages, but my wife and I went another direction with our vacation.

They have literally everything you could need did your dive/snorkeling excursions! As well as very nice clothing and accessories!

I was considering buying a 2nd pair of warm water fins and wasnt sure which ones I would like. I talked with the sales girl and she recommended a pair of fins. When she said i could dive with them and if I didnt like them I can return them i was sold i like a try and buy. I loved the fins.

Best shop for snorkel and dive gear in the Keys... probably in all of Florida. I am like a kind in a candy shop everytime we stop by.

Top notch selection and Staff

I really like this divers direct. Probably the best one Ive been too. Even being a tourist trap type shop due to its location, the people there are really nice and helpful. Fast cheap air fills. No nitrox though. Manager has this staff on point. Good job.

Nice store. We didnt end up purchasing anything but they were very helpful talking to us about how the corrective lens masks work. All the staff we interacted with were very polite. Good experience.

We always love heading into divers direct for everything from o rings to snorkels and fins to just a fun T-shirt. The staff here is always very knowledgeable and helpful and they do a great job of answering technical questions you may have related to your gear.

Its the Walmart of dive stores. Prices are okay but better to shop at one of the local dive stores personally

We took our 10 year old son to get fit for his own dive gear *hes crazy excited* There were about 2 to 3 people helping us. Walking us all over to get the right fit for all the pieces. It was a truly enjoyable experience.

Not as cheap as you would think from the strip mall look. We needed summer baklavas and were in a rush. They only had one model and we found out later that other scuba stores had them for half the price. It is still a convenient place to get scuba gear and clothing if you need it right away.

EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGABLE pleasant guys, gave us the complete tour, several suggestions .... we purchased 2 complete sets of masks fins snorkel bots glove and bag ! Was very comfortable spending what we spent knowing we saw all options and qualities. We will be back to see them again !!

Diver Direct has an amazing manager Brenda. I was coming to the Keys on a diving trip there was some things I could not get in my home town I needed for the trip. I contacted Brenda explained the situation and asked if I paid for my items would they deliver them to the Marriott 2 doors down. Wheni got to the Marriott the next morning my items where at the front desk. Brenda is an asset to Divers Direct. thank you Brenda I got some great footage with my camera

Excellent prices and beautiful location right next to a marina. Walking distance to the holiday inn and courtyard plus it’s open till 9 PM unlike all the other dive shops. I was told is the largest of the divers direct stores which all have mail-order price with brick and mortar convenience. The staff there are helpful and experienced not a teenager in sight unlike the other review said. I will be back!
