I rented a BMC Team machine for five days while I was in Key West and rode it 250 miles. Reasonable prices and much easier than bringing my bike. The service was great and will be renting again when we come back. Thanks!

I always rent a bike from Eaton when I come to key west. Its the best way to get around, and their cruisers are up to longer rides if you are. Great service, and the rental comes with lock and helmet. They will deliver the bike to your hotel and pick it up when you leave. Rental rates are very reasonable.

Friendly, professional customer service pushes this bike rental shop to the top of my list!! The rental process was simple and fast without any reservations made prior. After hours returns were no issue at all. I’ve used other bike rentals in town in the past, but these guys are a class act! Highly recommended these guys. This is also a legit bicycle shop with sales and service, not just a rental lot.

Bought a bike from Eaton bikes in September - the bike was back ordered until December which I was totally fine with. I stopped in, in October to see if there were any updates. And they remembered my name and my bike order! Such incredible customer service. And the best news of all, they had just gotten an update that it was due to arrive before December! I was inquiring to have the cable brakes of my E-bike looked at but was told they wouldnt, because the E-bike needed to be a specific brand.The issue I wanted tended to had nothing to do with whether the bike was electric or not so I think its lame to refuse repair. Its not like t=you need to activate the motor in order to repair the brakes??

Every time I have tried to get a simple tire change or tune up, I get a huge run around extended wait times, Chris is about the only guy to talk to and the lady up front, no matter how nice, can’t just take a message, instead likes to screen callsIf you want good work, fair prices, go to“Island Bicycles” on Truman Ave !

Great experience down in the Keys. If you need a good road bike for a trip up the Overseas highway, this is the place to get it. I picked a tough time, with a Tri coming up the end of the week I was there, but they managed to accommodate me on a slightly larger bike and get me on my way. Did a trip from Key West up to Marathon, gorgeous ride, thanks to Eaton Bikes for making it happen! Will be back next time I’m down here!

A visit to Key West is utterly incomplete without a bicycle ride through the old conch neighborhoods and historic places. You could even say that Key West by bike is the only way to truly immerse yourself in the rich history and lush ambience. Eaton bike rental is most definitely the best bike rental experience we have had. Extremely professional, friendly, outgoing, and genuinely nice people. They even threw in an ice cold bottle of premium water for us. Price is fair and store is clean, cool, and inviting. And to top it all off, they open an hour before the competition.

What a great experience! Decided to get around Key West the easy way...by renting a bike. I chose Eaton Bikes because it was a block away from my BnB. They made it not only easy to rent a nice 3-speed bike for about $25 for 24 hrs, but it came with a lock and front/rear lights. As I was going to Louies Backyard for dinner, a taxi round-trip wouldve easily been $25 (incl tips), so I rode around on the bike before and after dinner basically for free! Not to mention the folks at Eaton Bikes are professional and personable. Other places might charge less, but their bikes are clean, well-maintained and they open at 8am (other places seem to open when the mood strikes, 10-11am...1/2 the day is gone by then).

Great shop. We rent bikes for the whole family and they deliver to the marina when we are in town. Could not be happier. I found them to have much friendlier service than some of the businesses in town who clearly understand they are generally serving tourists who will never be back to town. We will rent every year.

This shop is AWESOME! Ive been renting bikes from Eaton Bikes for years, for friends who come to town to visit. When I needed to downsize from a 26-inch bike to a 24 inch bike, Chris took very good care of me, renting me the 24-inch bike for a couple weeks to be sure that I wanted to make the change. When it came time to seal the deal, he set me up with a seat cover, basket and basket cover for my Maltese pup, Meister, and lights and bell. Am I ever glad I did. Last night I was leaving work, and realized that my back tire was flat. Chris had his driver pick up my bike this morning, take it back to the shop, repair the flat, and return it to me, all in time for me to go back to work this morning! BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Spent a week down in the Keys and knew that I wanted to ride A1A. Instead of packing up and traveling with my road bike I rented one of Eaton’s BMC TeamMachines (carbon frame, 105’s, standard brakes) ...and couldn’t be happier with it.Eaton worked with me to get the seat position right, had Speedplay Zero’s available and even provided a repair kit should it be necessary. All I had to bring was my cycling shoes as they even have cycling kits available.Bike was well maintained and rolled with bomb proof Gatorskins, which was needed for my out/back to Marathon from Mile 0 (exactly 100 miles round trip) as the bike lane tends to attract debris in some sections. Did about 225 miles during the week without a hitch.Bottom line: forget disassembling, packing and then toting your bike to the Keys. Much easier to rent a quality bike from these guys ...and then get out and ride. A1A is a beautiful ride, bike lanes available through (as well as a cart path for much of it) and drivers are accommodating.

Just avoid this place. Your better of bike shops on Truman.

We rented 6 years ago for a week with our kids and again recently when we came through on a cruise ship for the day. Can easily rent on line with free delivery and drop off just behind the giant red Customs House near the docks (if youre cruising) or stop by their shop to meet this very friendly crew and receive a free sticker! Do not support this business. If you have a disability and need assistance this place will be rude and non compliant. I am confident you will not be treated fairly. Stay away from this shop and do yourself a favor. Stay away from supporting a business like this. There are lovely bike shops down Duval that will accommodate and pick you up as well with much better bikes that understand customer serviceAnd that there are disabilities to be accommodated properly even during a pandemic people still first have disabilities that need appropriate care.

The ONLY place I go to in Key West when I need my bike serviced. Friendly, super courteous staff. Knowledgeable and efficient. They dxd my problem and took care of it right away. We rented 2 bikes for our recent Key West vacation. It was so easy to do online and the bikes were waiting for us when we arrived at our rental home. They picked them up on our last day. I had a flat tire from some stones on day 5 and they were at my location within about 5 minutes to replace the tire. Very professional and extremely helpful. Would highly recommend this company.

ABSOLUTELY TOP NOTCH!! Great customer service, bikes are in good condition and very reasonably priced. You pay for 1 day, then each day after the price goes down. They allow you to pay one day at a time, which was great for us, we didnt feel locked into a certain number of days, made the decision to extend each day. Eaton was super convenient since we were staying basically next door, but in the future, i would use them even if staying further away. Thanks for making our time on the island a little bit easier to get around.

Military discount applies on the website with a code, and they will leave the bike chained up at the fly navy or Truman annex gate, AND one of their employees will text you a picture of your bikes location, AND they will pick it up for you when you are done with it. My front rim and a couple of spokes were bent. I expected that being in a tourist town such as KW, I would have to pay a lot more than Im used to for the fix. The guys at Eaton Bikes were AWESOME! I walked in and asked for a quote for the price and time frame of the repair. I was told that it was $15 plus $2 for every spoke that needed to be replaced, and that if it was dropped off early in the day, theyd have it fixed within a few hours. This sounded good enough to me, so I retrieved the wheel from my bike, which was parked out front, and brought it in. The guy looked at it for a minute, then took it into the back. 10 minutes later, he reappeared with my wheel - FIXED! And he told the guy ringing me up to only charge $10, because the damage wasnt too bad. Then, instead of simply handing me the wheel, he walked out to the curb and put it back on my bike for me! These guys are really friendly, and they provide excellent service at a great price! Plus, they have a really cute little pug running around the shop. If you ever find yourself in need of bike repairs or items, I HIGHLY recommend Eaton Bikes.

I’m a long time customer and have always come away impressed with the friendly and helpful attitude of the staff here. They know all the island gotchas and have been around for a long time. Their central location makes it easy to pick up a rental or have them deliver it. The new hybrid was perfectly suited for my daily treks to Baby’s coffee. They can set up both serious and recreational riders and children too. I’m a believer in supporting long term local businesses and encourage anyone needing bike related support to do business here.

Weve been using Eaton Bikes for many years. Always friendly and helpful, especially Chris and crew. There are a lot of places to rent bikes in KW but we always choose EB no matter what part of town were staying. They have always shown support for the military, both active and retired.

Chris is wonderful! Cant say enough about the service here! Im moving and needed to consider options for getting my bike across the country. Types of racks that would work for my car, etc. Chris was so helpful with sorting out options. AND they actually ship bikes!

Im super satisfied with the bike I rented. Riding bikes for over 25 years having a hand break is a NECESSITY. For not much more I got a bike that was 10 times better than a beach cruiser. the guys were very professional & wouldnt recommend anyone else🤙🤙

Two of my friends and I got a few days off so we decided to rent bikes. I definitely would have gone somewhere else for business if I would have known in advanced how snarky and rude the lady at the front desk would have treated us. Being servicemen when just went on about renting them anyhow thinking she was tired of dealing with tourists and kids all day (wasnt the case) the guy that actually strolls the bikes out to you is super nice and a great and friendly person. The lady at the front desk was still rude as ever when we turned the bikes in. As if it was a disservice to her that we gave her business. Will never be going back again.

Been sending folks to Eaton Bike for years. Chris and other staff, always super helpful. Sadly, this week’s experience with Amy, front desk person; horrid. Accurately described in other 1 star posts. Not sure who is owner and who is staff, but I would want to know, if I was the owner. It’s season. I get it. Some tourists are demanding and rude, but surely a good customer service person can separate the wheat from the chaff and deal diplomatically.

Found the staff rude and inconsiderate. They scoffed at me when I asked if they sold used bikes and did not act like they wanted my business what so ever. I would recommend using one of the other rental/bike shops on the island.

If your looking for somewhere to rent a road bike this is the place to go. Chris and company are relentlessly positive, took the time to make sure my bike fit right, and made sure I knew the best places to ride. They treated me like my local bike shop (and team sponsor) treats me, and I honestly cant think of a better recommendation than that.

The staff is knowledgeable and always eager to help. Ask about drop off and pick up service for the bikes. But if you get a chance to go into the shop make sure to poke around!

Eaton Bikes is the only place I would use. Have purchased bikes and many times had guests from up North visit us and use their bikes. The staff is amazing, and I take my bike in every year for my free tune up. Lets face it, Key West salt air isnt easy on bike components! But they always keep my bike in tip top shape. Ive only been in Key West for a short time now (3 months) and have had to bring in my bike for repairs 3 times. Every time I have brought it in they had quick turn around time (same day twice and next day because I brought it in close to closing time). The staff has been very friendly each time. Id especially like to comment on my most recent visit. The staff member was very knowledgeable about my concerns and showed me examples of the part I was having replaced to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. He also asked if there was any other concerns or needs for the bike to make sure the bike is in top working order. He was a true bike person and not just another working drone trying make another dollar. They are very reasonable with prices and will continue to bring my bikes there for services. Started off good with a drop off and easy instructions for return. Then after we left the bikes locked as instructed, the staff called my wife yelling at her saying the new bikes we were given were just stolen, all of which was not true. After some threatening and insulting talk they called back to say they found the bikes with no apology or reasoning. Use any other company!!!!
