Bikes were fine and well priced but the service is beyond bad. We dealt with four people. Four of the rudest people I have ever met. Did they put out an ad for that!?! If you have a decent product at a decent price why go out of your way to ruin it? Would not recommend unless you are looking for a aggravation.

What a great way to tour the island of Key West! Renting bikes for the day was very affordable. Theres a big basket on the bike, and they provided a lock/key to lock the bike at places we stopped. We did our own tour, went at our own pace, and it was fun! The guy we met at the bike rental stop was super nice and explained everything to us in detail. Highly recommend this place!

Bikes were ok. Nothing wrong but had no shock absorbing in the seats or suspension. The service was horrible though. Very very rude and curt. The 12 hour rental which started at 11am had to be back by 6 PM, but he didnt tell us, I had to ask when we left what time they closed. Otherwise you get extra fees. When we arrived to return the 12 hour rentals 6 hours later nobody was there, after waiting around for ten minutes someone arrives and says take them around back... Whats that mean? Around back? We pushed our bikes around back but there was no signage or people to receive the bikes. Just left them with the locks on the street, at the empty building we eventually found with other bikes parked at it. Great feeling leaving them there when the paper says youre responsible for the $600 dollar bikes if they are lost. Over all this place should be shut down, and if youre considering renting a bike on Key West, which you should, do it elsewhere. There are plenty of other options with better bikes and others have spoken highly of.

Could not have had better service!! I called, they delivered, great bikes, helmets, locks, and lights, an hour later. They picked them up. Super nice gentleman who schooled us on everything we needed to know. The “tug-along” was a fantastic option for my 5 year old. Rates were great and way less than paying for parking at random places everyday and definitely cheaper than paying for gas.

Great deal @ $12.99 for a day. I liked that lock and helmet were included. Biking is a great way to see the island. The Key West Nature Preserve was a nice little stop to see mangroves, iguana, and the beach.

The guy at the desk this time was on of the rudest people Ive ever encountered. Ive rented here in the past with few issues but never again. The bike was not in good condition; seat was worn and the chain came off twice. Yes its a convenient location in Old Town. But quality, service and appreciation for your business are more important than convenience. Ill be renting elsewhere my next trip to Key West.

Bikes never arrived. When I called, the gentlemen suggested that I had reserved with a different company. Then he found notes from the call but he never booked the delivery. Kudos for honesty but zero stars for service.

To start I’ll say that I’ve given this company 3 tries on 3 different days now to fix the issue but I keep getting blown off. I rented a bike last week while in KW with one of my friends. ($20.41) We both rented bikes. Separate transactions. I got charged twice, he did not. I have called and talked to three different people, all ask for my number to “call me back” and then I never hear from them again. I asked to speak to a manager and he was conveniently not going to be there until Wednesday. They also tried to say that a key was missing and that it was a group of people that turned the bikes in so they didn’t know who to charge the key to. Funny thing is, I rented these through my motel (through Island Safari Rentals) and turned them in to my motel. It was my friend and I, not with a group of people. All keys were accounted for. I really don’t appreciate trying to be fed some story just to get me off of the phone.I’m so beyond done dealing with these people that don’t want to help me. It’s not worth my time over $20.41. It’s rightfully my money but they clearly don’t care. I spent money all over that island last week and this is the only company I have had any trouble with. The bikes themselves were fine, it all went smoothly until this terrible lack of customer service.

Great bikes. Service was great. The island is really bikable, and set up for it. We had no problems navigating around the city, and getting to and fro in a reasonable time. The beer we had after was so cold and really affordable.

This was perfect. Bikes were clean and perfectly adjusted - shifter, brakes, tire inflation - all just right. They had reasonable prices and a good selection of bike styles to choose from, too.

I entered this place through the back yard. I asked the two gentlemen outside if I could rent a couple bikes. One said yes and directed me to walk around building while he went inside.After making me walk around.... I see the same guy at the counter! Now, I walk with a limp. I go everywhere on bikes because long distance walking is a problem for me.So I say again that I would like a couple bikes. Now there are two employees in the store. The younger one stays in the back. The older guy ignores me and answers the phone. He has a customer right in front of him talking to him. He has a co worker and i assume he has voicemail.He didnt say i have a customer ahead of you, can I call you back? to the phone call. He proceeds to carry on a conversation!I said to my wife after about a couple minutes Im not waiting much longerI gave up an left. Found another bike shop

Has Young girls selling alcohol, wouldn’t feel comfortable buying, obviously doesn’t care to get shut down.

Very reasonable good quality bikes suitable for taking a tour around the island. Convenient to Mallory Square Cruise ship port.

NASTY, RUDE AND INCONSIDERATEThere were 2 male attendants. One was too busy texting to answer my questions the other kept looking at his watch making an art form out of ignoring me. Eventually the heat got the best of my niece and she got sick on the sidewalk. What did they do?! They laughed, they actually laughed at a little girl getting sick in public. They didnt offer her water or medical assistance, they didnt even ask if she was ok, they laughted. She was so embarrassed she started to cry. Why would anyone bother renting anything from people like this?

Other peoples bike baskets are NOT TRASH CANS!!!! WALK YOUR LAZY BUTT TO THE TRASH CAN LESS THEN 10ft AWAY! It is not my fault you left your bike on the corner of Front for a week out in the weather.

Very bad experience about their refund policy: I wanted to pick up the bikes at the agreed date and time, but apparantly they were closed. I gave them a call and the guy on the line told me they were indeed closed because of the bad weather. He also infromed me that they will refund me accordingly. 2 months later I am still awaiting for the refund, without any feedback as we speak.

We use Island Safari Rentals every year that we come down for the World Sailfish Championship. We have never had any issues and they are our go to rental shop in Key West!
