I wish there was a way to give negative star reviews. This place deserve a negative 10 stars not a one star review. They are constantly out of things. I asked three different employees to help me find some thing and none of them knew where it was. Finally I found it on my own. I’ve dealt with one of the gentleman in there before us and useless. Managers, if by chance you’re reading this, it was about 4:15 PM on Saturday, June 12, 2021. He was working the front register, about 30, fat and black.
Mercy is so rudeAsking one of the employee why he was taking so long knowing he was given training to another guy .I though it was rude the way she acts like she owns the store 😵😵😵 mind blowing. Myles Did a great Job
The solitary young woman working in the printing and faxing department was fantastic. She attended to 5 customers needs professionally, efficiently, politely, and got the jobs done. She deserves to be paid for her skills and dedication.Perhaps if Office Max paid the Key West staff a bit more money they would have better retention. A customer does not enjoy hearing from other employees reasons for not having staff. A customer merely wants good service.Well YOU have an employee who gives excellent service. Now reward her. Employees will rise to incentives.
The printing department is amazing now!! Angela Blanco has done an amazing job with finishing all of my companys projects way before the due date. I dont know how those girls do it, the amount of customers they get on a daily base their work load is huge yet they still manage to finish everything.Awesome job, Thank You!.
I enjoy working with efficient, capable & knowledgeable people and that’s exactly what I encountered today while being assisted by Dani and watching her help others. She was the only Associate behind the service counter with a row of people waiting, so I settled in for a long wait. Yet moments later - after managing customers like a traffic cop does drivers through an intersection - she was helping me.Just looking at me and the bin I was holding she didn’t waste any time asking what I needed, saying in a joyful tone... “You’re here for shredding” and jumped right into it.I threw her a curve, upon presenting a old lithium battery for recycling. She wasn’t sure what to do with it, but in the blink of an eye she happily took it from my hands setting it aside saying she’ll figure it out later and proceed on to the main task at hand. What I anticipated as a 30-minute task was over with in about ten. When I returned to the office a co-worker was researching costs on Amazon for 24 pieces of a single item. When I explained why I’d returned so soon from Office Depot, we decided to check for the same item on OfficeDepot.acom and discovered them same item on Amazon that was $12 each was only $7 on OfficeDepot and it was in-stock at the local store.Win, Win... Win. Doesn’t get much better than that.
This is one of the better office supply chain stores around. Aside from their self help copy print stations which only cater to people doing large print orders. It is not a good deal for the customer that wants only a few copys, or who needs something scanned real quick. It is neither quick, efficient, nor convenient.
The staff at Key West Office Max is wonderful. Eva in the print/copy center was extra helpful. I needed to make an inkjet copy for a project and the manager approved me to make one using a demo photo copier. It is not often these days that the staff goes above and beyond when the items purchased were only about $35. In total. It is a pleasure to receive extra customer service when it is so rare these days. I will be a loyal customer to this store.
I have had a good experience with each person working here. They were helpful and kind. Much appreciation to the staff!!!
Office Max/Office/Depot in Key West is an well-supplied, clean, and spacious store. Because of their internet tie-in, the store is in a position to promptly get the customer any needs supplies and goods. Prices are reasonable and bargains are available. Unfortunately many of the staff are bureaucratic and completely lack a feel for customer service.
Good in general for office supplies and pens. Best choices in Key West, depending on sales
I disagree with these bad reviews as well. We went to buy a printer and were those annoying customers that take 3 hours to make any choices. Eric was so patient and helpful...he helped us out all three times we returned with more questions. He also had great suggestions to get us discounts and coupons. Well be returning soon to buy a computer because we know well get great service from him :)
I use this location frequently for my print and office supply needs. The staff and management is always very helpful and knowledgeable. Its also a great place to get your fedex items shipped as its centrally located on the island. Go here for all your needs and supplies.
Key West doesnt have the big electronics stores you can find in Miami (example Best Buy) but this is pretty close.Great selection - HUGE store! A+
Good place to stop for last minute things.
This is the first K-Mart really pleasant and very well stocked and in order.
I’d give it zero stars if I could. The customer service is terrible. Employees are unprofessional. Appearance is sloppy with shirts untucked and dirty. The Operations Manager, Warren is terrible. This place needs a major overhaul in staff and presentation.
The girl working was working real hard and took care of multiple persons at one time. The fax machine is not working and had to wait very long before I left with no results.I wanted photo prints but email was not received and I kept emailing over and over againNo resultsThe three star is for the girl working the counter.Thank you
Walked to the back of the store to the area with chairs and couldnt locate the part I was looking for. Kept looking and hoping someone would be around to help, but no one was near. Walked to the front of the store and saw a young man working and I asked if he could find someone to help me in the furniture section. He told me to hold on so he could finish what he was doing and started stapling a piece of paper to a plastic bag. I thought that was odd way to deal with a customer in front of you, but then he turned his back to me and started stapling more bags! I said Please, can you get me some help by using that radio in your ear? and he said When I get finished this I left the store.I called the manager and asked what is up and he said they have a time limit on orders placed online. I guess Office Max wants us to shop online, so I went and ordered the parts I needed from Amazon!
The worst experience Ive had in any Office Max Depot. An employee Chris demonstrated very arrogant attitude. After I asked help to find a particular product, the guy said the shop didnt have it. When I asked him to check in the storage, he reluctantly agreed, then turned his back on us and started to talk to another customer completely ignoring us. After having waited for almost 10 minutes(it seemed like he was doing it intentionally) I asked another employee to do the same. In a minute the lady brought the product from the storage. At the register Chris was passing us and pretended not to notice our dissatisfaction. No apologies, nothing. I would like this guy to receive a disciplinary reprimand and notify me about it. Otherwise, I will forward my complaint to the headquarters office.
Came down for my honeymoon and not one of the televisions in the three rooms we stayed in had HDMI connections. Not the end of the world, not the first time weve encountered this issue, but my wife and I dragged 20 lbs. of gaming gear down with us in hopes of maybe streaming a bit as a surprise to the people of Twitch.tv. So I contact the store to ask if they have some connectors to aid in this venture. If non-commital customer service via phone is what youre looking for, youve come to the right place! Not only did the first person who answered the phone have no idea what an electronics department might be (regardless of how its named in their store), this man then proceeded to inform me that he needed to know what [Im] looking for in the store. I assume the word electronics may have been outside of his vocabulary, so I stated that I needed help with audio/visual cables.I was promptly rerouted to the one person who might have actually SEEN a computer or an electronic device that wasnt a personal massager. Upon receiving the most unflattering greeting Ive heard in a while (yeah, how can I help you?, in a tone best described as the f*** you want?), I informed the next gentleman that I was looking for an S-Video cable. The prompt response was Naw, we dont have those in store, only online, to which I responded, Well, that takes care of the second part of my question as well! in a jovial tone. This must have been the cue I was unaware of to immediately hang up the phone without any follow-up or other questions regarding how this person could assist me, thus ending our conversation. Its the holiday season. People are stressed out, demanding, sometimes even outright rude or nasty. Having been none of the above, I thoroughly expected to have someone in the store at least make an ernest attempt to address my concerns. Instead I was greeted with a level of dismissal I thought was only capable at the DMV or maybe a fast food restaurant. Ill never set foot in the store for fear of being beaten with a surge protector (provided theyre actually in the store and not just available online), but this must be the most wonderful time of the year to be a customer service representative on an island where a single electronics store can actually hold you by the short and curlies without any worry of corporate oversight or managerial repercussions. 5 out of 5 stars for the lowest common denominator of service I could have ever expected short of being shot by the police for helping an old lady across the street in rural Mississippi. Excellent work and a great memory to share over egg nog this Christmas! ¡Felicidades, pendejos!
The service was great. they had everything I was needing. only negative is they dont serve alcohol
Understaffed and at times found an item that I was looking for after being told not in stock. Very slow check out at times. Good and clean store yet disappointing somehow.
Physically run-down, but amazing deals and prices.
Good staff, available tech for computers and office stuff like printers for home use, got a nice hard drive there works really well
Well organized and friendly staff. The document center is always busy, so expect a little wait.
Did not have what I needed. Clerk was very kind tho.
The staff really wants to help...great job to the management ;)
Yay for Anja in the Printing Department -
Best little Office Max in town.
Good customer service.
Staff are condescending (they talk down to you)
They are out of chalk.
Just what the business ordered.
Good deals
