Outside is beautiful! Look at all the palm trees🌴lining the front walkway! Stocked fairly decently for a 2021 Kmart store! Friendly and helpful staff! Clean store and restrooms!

Hardly no one in store. I shopped in peace. It was great. No line when I checked out. It is raining but it was a nice shopping experience.

Im not sure why this place is still open, it barely has anything inside & what they do have is way over priced. This place should be a Walmart, I feel the keys needs one really bad and not an overpriced one.

Go while you can. Good prices and friendly staff while I was there.

I have always loved Kmart. Perhaps it is more of a sentimental thing than the actual experience. This store has a wonderful assortment of bathing suits. I even got a Juicy Couture one piece. I also purchased a beautiful elegant top with sparklies on it. As for the associates, they seem gloomy. The manager is not extremely friendly, but he let folks in as they were closing, so props to him. There was also a friendly woman cashier, but others won’t engage with you even if you try to ask them how they are doing…I heard it is closing in about a month, so perhaps in a place like the Keys where opportunities are meager that is a cause of concern for folks who will soon be looking for employment. Not sure? Either way I was happy to go and got some great deals!

It is one of 2 K-Marts left in Florida and it is just the same as the one I went to in the 80s... must see. Fantastic Prices when I visited! Shop there before it is gone.

We were in town on a cruise with friends. We had a blast and stop by this Kmart knowing its the only one around due to all the near us have close down so we all went in there. The cashier was not very friendly and her English was poor. The bathroom were clean which made a big difference. Also the store had really good deals. Love this place well keep coming back.

Its pratically empty, imagine a low grade walmart. the floors are dirty, there was an entire section of creepy fire hydrant toys. I saw a bag of dog food with spider webs on them. the store is so empty theyve sectioned off a large piece of the store to make it appear more full. the options are bad. its pratically a post apocalyptic, already lotted walmart. just dont even bother

Went here to reminisce. Definitely not the Kmart of years past. Basically all closeout merchandise. Cashier was on her cell phone.

The fact that is even a Kmart is laughable. It literally looks like a half shelved thrift store. Im still in shock honestly at what they did have to offer. Shelves of Christmas decorations 99% off and other holiday decor. Tons of beach clothes if thats what you need, but if you need anything else youre in trouble. In a town that doesnt have a Walmart you would think Kmart would be stocked and ready to capitalize on that but no.

This is one of the last Kmart in South Florida. The store is huge and clean. There are some interesting clothing but nothing much to offer.Worth a visit if you are a fan of Kmart.

Store is the cleanest and most organized Ive ever seen it. All of the shelving is the same height, so you can take in the entire store with a single look. Plenty of staple items, very little fluff. Mens clothing racks were full. Plenty of socks and underwear. Kitchen stock is very basic with many pieces of single items. Toy department still had plenty of items, and laundry land has plenty of selection.Its still Kmart, but all of the fun, colorful chaos is gone.

This Kmart is okay! The store is not as good as the OBX Kmart was. You can obtain your Florida fishing license here. The sports selection is mediocre. Tons of products for the ladies and they do have deals.

Amazing that this place still exists down here in the Keys. Most locations on the mainland have been shuttered for years but this gem is still around! Dont expect the blue light specials like back in the day. Its pretty much barebones but they have what you need at reasonable prices. Great place for all the incidentals that you forgot to bring for your vacation.

Wow is all I got.... Im not even sure why they open the doors. Disappointing at best but was able to find what we needed at Publix within the same plaza.

This place is super creepy and useless. The aisles are social distancing and there’s not much to buy that makes TOTAL sense. Still never saw a soul actually working except 1 cashier and I’m not sure they even worked there.

Key West has the only Kmart in the Florida keys and its only a matter of time before it to will be closed!!! Very sad for our community.

Nostalgic Kmart feel. Except there isnt much in it. Pretty empty. Found what I need googles and snorkel for snorkeling at the beaches in key west so Im happy

Kmart hasnt gotten any newer clothing in since 2019. Never have clothing in the right size or a decent selection anyway. Kmart has been going out of business clearance blowout since 2020. No new seasonal merchandise tells you they are slowly sinking, but they dont want to advertise it. cheap looking, but pricey

Sad store. I havent been to a Kmart in 30 years. I felt alone there as it was very empty of any shoppers. On the plus side my friends found some boots there that were reasonably priced. Hooray!!!

Wow, seems like i really wasnt missing much going into this one for the first time today. I didnt find what i was looking for. (Not blaming kmart) But the vibe in there was so dead. Most boring store ive ever layed eyes on. Looked boring on the outside. And the same if not MORE boring on the inside. The Sporting Goods Was last years christmas items. Dont think im going fishing in key west with candy cane tinsle . Im a local btw.

Theres no Kmart where Im from. So this was new to me a store with apparel and appliances, furniture, sporting goods and health and beauty. All you need in one store well not all but most. I can see their effort they get thumbs up for that. Chashiers are nice.

A for effort. They have reorganized and added many items. Have always liked Kmart stores as they are always fighting the bigger chains and as a result work very hard. This is a clean and pleasant place to shop. Buy most pet food and household items and save a good amount. Service staff are very nice and try to help. The manager is on top of his game.

It looked dead as soon as we entered and nobody bothered to say hi. It looked like an empty space than a store.

I am so happy with the customer service that Deborah (manager on duty) is providing constantly. I was trying to return the item that I purchased a day ago and she was the one who helped me and solved the problem.Thank you so much Deborah you are a 10!!!And I am also impressed by the fact she speaks Spanish and English. We just moved to the keys and were shopping for clothes, houseware or anything honestly and all we found were overpriced random things that serve no good purpose and the few consumable things they did have were outrageously over priced. If you stayed open during the crisis just to price gouge people congrats you got five stars for that lol. Will never shop here again, sorry :/

The Kmart on Roosevelt avenue in key West Florida was a huge disappointment today.we have visited Kmart in key West everytime we have been down and we have purchased souvenir shirts and koozies from this particular store. This year, 2020, they had no shirts and no koozies and when we asked the staff about it we received very rude replies, such as, if theres nothing on the shells we dont have anything. It was related to us in a very rude tone with a shrug of the shoulders. When we ask another associate regarding a similar situation we we received the same kind of response Kmart employees were rude and unhelpful. Their attitudes were like we were bothering them. Customer service is non-existent. Customer service is non-existent in this Kmart store in key WestWe will never shop there.

I havent been in this store in years since I first traveled down here. I went and found everything I was looking for and more. I like the better variety now that they sell Craftsman products as well. Store just is a little old looking inside.

I love that they have reorganized and it is much cleaner than before. HOWEVER... did a secret shopper.... to see how they would handle a mistake the cashier made on my order. The cashier was ringing up my merchandise and not paying attention. She rang up a pair of shoes twice. I went over to the customer service area and dealt with Rachael, the manager on duty. She didnt greet me, She never apologized... she was scratching off lottery tickets and made me wait for her. She had such a terrible attitude! AND it was their fault not mine.

This in Key West. It was pricey. One item I picked up in Okeechobee Wal Mart for$8.00 was at K Mart for $23.00. That a little to much different.

The customer service is poor, but I dont blame them as much as the company. the place is old, the floors are dirty and in bad repair, the fixtures look like they were there from 1980, and they dont hire enough staff so the trend Ive seen is overworked leads to not caring if it takes all day for the customer - the staff is there all day anyway.I dread having to go to Kmart for anything and try to avoid it. Unfortunately, at times this means local money goes out to places like Amazon. The company needs to send a dynamic team in to fix it. Fire a few and fix up the joint and Id bet the rest of the staff would be awesome.

As an employee at Kmart, we all get along like a local family and we try our hardest to satisfy every customer that comes and goes I know its not professional to talk to other cashiers while on the clock but thats how we get through tough days for us to keep a smile on our faces :) everyone has tough days but we try our hardest to satisfy everyone shopping with us and sometimes there are new employees that arent from here or its theyre first job ever and it takes time to get comfortable and learn new experiences every day. I love working for Kmart and happy with the company of Sears holdings :) not every job is perfect! :) My opinion about Kmart 💙
