If you’re in the area, you definitely have to check this neat spot out!The inside is very vibrant. They offer shaved ice, gelato, and waffles. For such a huge chunk of shaved ice, it’s a very reasonable price of $5. Down the street, it’s $7 for half the size of shaved ice. My significant other and I got some tasty flavors.We sat outside and watched the sunset from the beach.Beautiful memory with a great taste!

We visited Maui Gelato and Waffles every day (or twice one time) of our vacation. They had the freshest ingredients and the best service of any place that we have visited in the islands. I huge hit with adults and kids alike. We are already planning our next visit to Kihei and will be certain to choose a location within walking distance to MG&W

I walked by this place seeing amazing waffles people were eating. I said to myself “ I have to go back and have some waffles.” When I asked around a good place for shaved ice the owners said this place has good shaved ice.My wife and I tried it and were very happy. Great service and a nice vibe. I got the tropical breeze with mango, guava and passion fruit flavors and coconut ice cream on the bottom. Amazing! The flavors were so good and tasty. The ice cream on the bottom were also really good. Coming back!

If youre looking for delicious waffles, this is the place. We wanted something sweet after driving the Road to Hana and stopped in. I ordered the Haleakala waffle and my boyfriend got the banana nutella option. So good with all the fruit, whipped cream, and chocolate. Wished I had the chance to try all the flavors of ice cream as well.

Our favorite place for cool treats on the island. Gelato flavors are made in house so they change regularly and have surprising dairy free options you might not expect (try the dark chocolate its dairy free and amazing!) They also carry Roselani Ice Cream and make exceptional waffles and shave ice.

Wide selection of everything from shaved ice to gelato to ice cream and chocolate covered cones. The small shaved ice is a huge portion for a reasonable price! Definitely recommend.

My husband and I came here every single day we were on the island. Specifically for their smoothies. The Kohei Kool smoothie was absolutely amazing!! Please stop at this place while visiting Maui. It is so worth it!

Great gelato, but not friendly and very impatient. The lady was not friendly at all. We went twice and had the same experience. Why be in customer service if your gonna make the customer uncomfortable . Go do something else you like......

It was... ok. Good ideas, fast, and good service. Unfortunately, the waffles were undercooked and doughy on the inside. I got the Nutella and banana waffles and Hawaiian waffles. The Hawaiian waffles were dry. The taste was good though and there was lots of flavor. We also got some Gelato and it was delicious. All in all, good place for dessert and would go again for the gellato, not so sure about the waffles though.

Good. Cost $8 for ice cream in a waffle cone. The gelato was good. I got Kahlua flavored gelato. The next time I went back, they were out of the Kahlua and they havent had it since.

While this place may taste delicious the owner of the shop is irresponsible. She serves people their desserts without the proper face covering on. It’s dangerous and highly irresponsible. Take a close look at her mask when you enter her shop. It’s not a REAL mask. Honestly, I loved this place and visited daily until I met her.

Another must have while visiting Maui. We discovered this place 2 trips ago and just keep coming back for more. Their waffles are delicious and piled high with sugary goodness or plain if you prefer. And I love the mochi ice cream. So easy to eat and a variety of flavors.

If you are coming from Europe and know what a real Belgium waffle tastes like, dont get one, you will be very disappointed. Try the ice cream instead.

Wow so good! Kona coffee is a million times better than Baskin Robins Jamocha almond fudge. Coconut pudding flavor and orange pineapple flavor so good. Waffle cone is delicious. This place sucks. Staff is rude and the ice cream is terrible. Additionally the closed prior to the state of time. There was barf all over the floor. Never ever go here. Lapperts is 1000 times better!

Possibly the best shave ice on Maui! There are actual fruit chunks in the flavoring and the texture of the ice makes it easy to eat. This is not your average packed, lackluster ice blob. This place is top notch and the portions are excellent. If youre near Kihei, stop here.

This place is fabulous! The gelato, the shave ice, the mochi, all seriously good, and the service is so fun and friendly.They have choc dipped waffle bowls for the gelato, so good.If you havent had a mochi then you have to, they are an unspoken gem, crazy bits of total yum! Passion fruit and pistachio were my favourites but you seriously cant go wrong.

They have a vast selection Roselanis ice cream, which is a must have! Roselanis is the best ice cream Ive had, including homemade. The velvet smooth ice cream with a rich, full body flavor will make any critic a believer. Sidenote if you can get it with shaved ice, definitely do its a game changer.

Love the dairy free gelato/sorbetto options for my vegan husband who said he loved the creamy texture of the dairy free chocolate peanut butter and just how tasty it was! I got a HUGE Haleakala waffle and airy mounds of delicious whip cream, plenty of sliced strawberries and bananas, and added a scoop of coconut gelato to my order! Yum! Had to get a to-go container for half of my giant waffle lol! Free ice water available as well! Great stop!

Absolutely loved the waffles here!! So fluffy inside and perfectly crisp outside!! The Gelato here was really yummy too but the coffee wasnt the greatest it was so so but thats probably because we are from Seattle. At first, we felt rushed when ordering and the customer service seemed a bit rude but after we ordered some more they were friendly and was probably just a bad day for them, really great place!

**Vegan Gelato review only**The manager there (I think her name is Marla) was super knowledgeable in which choices of gelato I should pick as a vegan. So many options, as pictured. The ones that did not have coconut milk were made with water instead and had a lighter flavor. I went with the lilikoi (passionfruit) flavor in a cup, because the waffle cone is NOT vegan (contains eggs, per Marla’s info). My husband said that Java Chip (not vegan) was too watery-flavored, but you get to try before you buy!

One of the fluffiest, yummiest gluten-free waffles I’ve ever had! Staff was super friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about my GF needs. They also have some incredible gelato, including a huge variety of non-dairy options. SO good! I’m only sad I didn’t come here more during our vacation!

My husband and I actually went in, ordered from the EXTREMELY friendly woman behind the counter, ate outside with the sweet birdies, and then got in the car...only to shut the car right back off, go back inside, and order more! The mochi is great, so you should try it if you never have! And their regular ice cream is amazing as well. Their shave ice is better than I ever expected it to be! Such a fun trip. Definitely try it out!

Stumbled upon this place while visiting Maui and so glad I did!!! I’m vegan and the shop offers several dairy free flavors of ice cream/gelato. I was able to make a sundae with melted peanut butter and it totally hit the spot. I saw they also have waffles here and tons of other toppings for sundaes. There are tables outside with direct view to the sunset if you go at dusk. Staff is friendly and shop is clean. So grateful I could have a vegan treat while visiting Maui, plan to come every day now til we fly home!!!

Absolutely love this little shop of sweetness!! While in Hawaii we would visit everyday and sometimes twice a day. The coconut shaved ice with the coconut cap is a must have!! Very friendly staff and fun atmosphere. Very clean and comfortable. We will visit this place every time we are in Hawaii. Now I am home and wish I could have another coconut shaved ice with a coconut cap!! I am craving one!!!

Dont be fooled by the strip-mall location, this place is a hidden gem. They have something for everyone, including gluten-free waffles, my friends. Smothered in sliced bananas and Nutella, and served with a super friendly smile. Not to mention a whole host of non-dairy gelato and ice cream. Absolutely delicious.

Family owned, wonderful Gelato, graciousservice. Before the Pandemic it was a source to purchase Rosalani Ice Cream and the only place that had the Awardwinning Aloha CherryTruffle. Ill be glad when they can again. Its also a great place to have a Belgian Waffle breakfast.

Ice cream is a local brand which manufactured by a factory in Hawaii, and if youve tried the ice cream made at local shops you know this is actually a good thing. Best ice cream on Maui!

We spend two weeks a year on Maui every October. A friend recommended this place several years ago and since that first visit we go every night we are in Maui. They know us by name year after year. The service is amazing, but it pales in comparison to the gelato. The dairy free options are the best I have ever had, the traditional flavors are top notch, and the new inventive flavors never disappoint. My recommendation cant do them justice. Friendly, clean, delicious, incredible.

Hands down, the best acai bowl ever! If that wasnt enough, I went back for their avocado non-dairy ice cream and it was so creamy and so amazing. I went all out and got it in a sprinkle waffle cone and it was all so fresh and tasty!
