I stepped up to the counter. The two employees stood gabbing about covid tests. Ignoring me. I kept looking to determine which register. One finally stepper up to her register while continuing her conversation. Finished the transaction. I stood..waiting for maybe a thank you..goodbye. ..nothing. She finally said, Oh did you want your receipt? I said yes.. it was in her hand. I really wasnt waiting for that but figured it was pointless to try to explain. took my receipt and left.
