I wanted to thank Tommy for the quick service and pricing he gave my mother at the end of service. My mother had brought my car in yesterday for an oil change and tire rotation. During at which time it was noticed the rear brakes needed replacing. The quoted price for the service including air filter replacement was a bit high but through his kindness gave her a discounted price. I am appreciative for Tommys kindness. The service at this place is unmatched by the competition. I had no clue what was going on with my car. I had a pretty scary experience on my commute home from Charlotte. These gentlemen were so kind. They even got the battery I needed from a different shop when the one I needed wasnt in stock at their location. Tommy was absolutely amazing. Awesome people, had a blow out on I-85 heading north from Georgia. They had the size I needed, got me in and out with a set of 4 tires mounted and balanced with very little wait. Wish they was closer they would be my go to tire store.

Went in for low tire pressure warning close to closing time. While I was giving them my information, there was a very unruly customer ( there really was no need for the customer to be upset). The staff handled it beautifully all while taking care of me too. This is a very reputable place and I would definitely be going back for issues. Highly recommend- very friendly and fair pricing too.

Do not go anywhere else for tires, or even an oil change! The service here is incredible! They put four new tires on my truck and also fixed a flat on my Explorer for free!! That was not expected at all!! Most places will try to sell you a whole new set instead if trying to fix one tire and here they did it for free to boot!!! Waited almost two hours for an oil change. When my car was done instead of taking the time to get me paid and out the door, he addressed the people that just walked in and talked for 15 minutes. Why would you not check the person that has been waiting for hours out before helping the customers that just walked in. Nobody has any pep in their step and just mosey through the building. Don’t waste your time. If you don’t have employees, don’t book so many appointments. Simple.

Made an appointment Friday evening on their website for a Saturday morning at 11A. In the notes, we specifically asked for a tire brand and style. Also asked them to call us Saturday morning to confirm that they had those tires in stock. Which they did call us and confirmed they had the exact tires in stock.Brought our car there for the 11A appointment. At 3P the car still wasnt ready . Not sure what the point was of making an appointment if they werent going to honor it...At 3:45P the car was ready... with the wrong tires on it! They must have thought we would just drive away and never check. Surprise!!!Come to find out, they didnt even have the tires in stock that we requested to begin with. Counter person (manager on duty?) said he must have gotten confused? I wonder how many other people have had this done to them and may not even know it??Never, ever go here.

This was my first visit to Mr Tire. I knew I had a nail in my tire. They were upfront with me about the fact that they may not be able to fix the tire and I may have to purchase a new one. But after looking at my tire, they fixed it and did so in less than 30 minutes. The young man who helped me was very professional and mannered. I really appreciate the service I received at Mr Tire in Kings Mountain. .

The service at this Mr. Tire is unparalleled. My wife and I got a flat tire late in the day, but they were able to quickly fit us in (even after we made an appointment for the wrong day). They even stayed late to make sure the job got done right! I would easily come here again.

Had a blow out on I85. Called closest tire shop and was told they had the tire size I needed. I asked if they knew of a towing company since I wasnt from the area and Cowboy gave me the number of a towing company. Tow Company was quick and my car arrived within 30 minutes of them closing. Cowboy and Tommy were very personable and made me feel like I had been going to them for years. I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of car maintenance or tires. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to go above and beyond the scope of work. Wish I could give more stars!

Just paid $27 to have a nail removed from my tire. I feel that I should have went to Bill Parkers in Kings Mountain instead. Then the guy that brought my car back out, parked too close to the curb, scraping my Camaros undercarriage. Oh well.....

Weve been going to Mr Tire for years. Yesterday we got 3 brand new tires on my husbands truck. We spent almost $900. When we left the shop the tire pressure lights were on. We knew it would take a few minutes to go off. Going down the highway the truck started shaking really hard. We called them and took the truck back up there and they said they didnt calibrate it so they done that. The shaking stopped but a different low air pressure light came on but at this point it was after 5 on Saturday so they were closed. They dont know what they are doing. We were there 3 hours with an appointment made.

Had a flat on 85 headed from VA into Greenville, SC. After a series of craziness I found myself needing a tire and although they were close, it was closing time. I called. They stayed open until I could get there (30 minutes after closing) and they stayed another hour replacing all 4 tires. Great people, great service. Use these guys!

The air ride in my xlarge suv went completely out when i was driving it last week. I googled places in kings mtn nc and Mr. Tire was the 1st to come up. I called while i was pulled over in York SC and spoke to the Nicest Gentleman named Tommy. I ask him if he could look at it that day because it was 330 in the afternoon and I had no idea what time they closed. He told me to not worry what time they closed he would be there waiting on me. I explained to him the issues Id been having and he got right on it. He spent almost 3 hours lookng for replacement parts to no avail. He finally suggested to change the air ride over to regular shocks. I ask him if i could leave it there until the parts come in. Being as kind as what he was he said you can not drive the car safely. It can stay here as long as it needs too. If i could give 10 stars to Mr. Tire & Tommy Christenbury I would. I will never go anywhere else for automotive repairs again. Only Tommy & Mr. Tire from here on out!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I went to get my oil changed today. Tommy, the man that greeted me, was so nice. I was going in for an oil change and he suggest getting the “better” one. He told me all the benefits and I was like ok cool. He told me where to wait so me and my mom went and waited. After a while a man named Ricky came looking for me. He told me I had a blown shock on the back of my car. He showed me where and told me what could happen if I don’t get fixed. He told me to call the people I got the car from because he thought I would still be under warranty; he was right, but he told me if they didn’t do it they would. He also told me to change my gas for it to ride smoother so on my next fill up I’ll be taking his advice.They were funny and really nice. I’m most definitely going back for all my Maintenance, and I’m sending my family and friends there. I would recommend this play to anyone. 5 starts really isn’t enough they deserve more and more costumers. Thanks guys for the great work.

The service is impeccable. Even on a busy day, they went out of their way to make sure I was able to get my tires taken care of. The front staff dug to find several options that would take care of my problems while keeping my cost down. A many thanks to this hard working staff.

Easy to deal with sometimes a little slow I used go to shelby located when they had good management but I wouldnt have them fix a flat not.

In my 38 years going around the sun this is been the worst customer service experience that I have ever had. I scheduled an appointment ahead of time to get an oil change and tire rotation and balancing. I waited more than an hour and a half to get my car and they’re very cold and very dirty waiting room (I don’t think anybody has ever clean the bathroom). Alex was my service representative who was friendly but could not communicate appropriately. They did not do the tire rotation or the balancing because as they said on the phone after I left the shop “they did not feel that the tires were safe to touch”. Not only was I not informed that they were not going to perform two out of the three services that I had requested but I waited almost 2 hours with an appointment to receive an oil change. Upon calling corporate customer service I soon found out that this level of customer service extends across the whole company. I was hung up on several times I was given different stories with each representative and I was treated poorly. I do not recommend having anything done by this company ever. I am waiting for test results to show the viscosity of the oil that they put into my engine because from the lack of service that I received I find it hard to believe that they know what they’re doing and I need evidence. Should the oil come back to not be the viscosity that I ordered and shown on the receipt I will update the review.***update***After sending a sample of the oil that they said they put in my vehicle I received a report from the company with the lab results and their conclusion is that they do not believe the oil was changed. They state that the level of carbon in the oil would suggest that there is between six and 10,000 miles of wear. After contacting their customer service at Monroe I was treated as if I was trying to scam them from money and nobody will return my phone calls outside of a customer service representative. So do some things up they did not change my oil and they charge me for it then they didn’t rotate my tires or balance my wheels as requested. So in a nutshell they made me wait for two hours while they did absolutely nothing and then charged me for a full synthetic oil change and nobody will be held accountable. They’ll be completely shocked when they get hit with a lawsuit for fraud

I went in with my 2014 dodge journey with some major issues...the whole staff from the front desk all the way back was trying to figure out what was going on with my car .they order the part that the meter thing said i needed was there the next day put it on but my issues was still happening..they work on my car almost all day giving it their all to try and help get my car fixed...even thought the issues required dealership work which was out of their control considering it had something to do with my electrical box...and they car would boot them out after getting them in so far..I feel like the gave it their all an took the time to help me as much as possible was recommended by a relative who has been going there for years...I will definitely be back😊😊

Had a 10am at the Kings Mountain location appointment for a front end alignment and replace serpentine belt on my F250. Dropped the truck off at 10, told the attendant at the front desk that I would back in a few hours that I had errands to run. Returned 4 hours later and my truck had not been touched!!! Had not moved from where I parked it. The “master tech” said he was under the impression that he had the truck all day! Damn near did have it all day and nothing ! I will NEVER be back at another Mr. Tire again !!!

Great service, and I love the people there! They even had a very good used tire set for my 06 Tahoe! The set looks brand new for a used price!

We have been coming here for a good bit now. The service is always excellent and there has been no pressure from sales pitching. Tommy, Jonathan, and Alex are wonderful. Had an appointment for a car inspection - everyone was very friendly and helpful. Service was quick! Even gave me advice on which registration office for tags was the fastest & they were correct! Renewed my tags in less than 3 minutes! Would recommend this place & will visit again when needed.

Went to Mr.Tire in the middle of a road trip because my tire pressure sensor came on. Although the wait was about 3 hours, Tommy suggested a place for us to eat and even go on walk if we wanted. Ricky helped us out and even when we were in our car about to leave, he came to us and offered more tips on dealing with the sensor in the future. Cowboy also assisted us and was very professional. That’s hard to find in most service centers. I appreciate all of their hard work and would definitely recommend this service center any day.

Today I had a appointment and missed it. I pulled up as they were closing and luckily they were so sweet they told me no worries they would make sure I got my tire! Tommy is grade A conversation and very nice. This will be our family’s go to spot every time. They fixed my tire with the quickness and made sure it was sturdy. They also found out I need my rotors checked they have great prices and I’ll be back next week. This place rocks! As I enter the door after a long day of work, right off hand I was not ingnored but informed about my car needs on every question and concerned that I had. My tires havent been rotated in the last two oil changes, but today it will be. Now thats service! 1st time here, and moving forward Mr. Tire Auto Service Center will be where I bring my car. If any one else needs any services for their car, pull on up to 407 S. Battleground Ave. These guys are doing well and highly recommend for the service thats offer.

They were super awesome! A bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for in life. Two new tires,an alignment and windshield wipers got me in and out as fast as they could being they were slammed! Everyone there is super nice go if you need some tires you will be happy you did!

I recently moved back to town and have had to find all kinds of businesses to use. Mr. Tire is where Ive been going to have my car serviced and get tires when needed. They are fast, courteous and very professional. Twice I have had emergency situations which required calling at the last minute for something and both times they have been very accommodating. I appreciate this very much and plan to continue using this business in the future. I would also not hesitate to recommend them to others who live here or like myself have recently moved here and are looking for a business of this type.

I want to say a big thanks to the guys at Mr. tire. My family and I were traveling up 85 and our alternator went out. I was able to make it to the shop where they got me right in and fixed me up within two hours and I was out the door. That is great customer service! I would highly recommend!

My name is Kenneth Ward and I just want to say that Tommy is one heck of a leader at this store. They are courteous, respectful and professional. I left my previous car specialist to come here, and I have found a home where my vehicles will always come. Jessica and Cowboy are just the icing on the cake. I love this facility.

After my extremely negative experience with the Shelby Mr. Tire (you can read it over on their reviews), my wife called this location after the sub-human manager Dale at the other location got into a yelling match with her over the phone. She spoke with a gentleman at this location named Cowboy, who apologized on behalf of the way we were treated at Shelby and urged us to bring her car on by their location. That afternoon after work we brought it by there and told the folks at the desk what had happened, and they said theyd be happy to fix the window. They also had mentioned that Shelby had lost so many customers due to the bad service and hateful management over there. The lady at the front desk and another gentleman came out and were able to jar the window and hit on the door, and after (maybe) two minutes of minimal effort, the window was in its upright position as it was before Shelby screwed it up. (Keep in mind Dale refused to deal with my wifes window despite it being 28 degrees outside and the low the next morning being 20!!! You reap what you sow pal!)The sad thing is, that Shelby Mr. Tire/Dale could have avoided this entire thing and just done the exact same thing that Kings Mountain happily did, and kept my future business. Never again, Shelby. Never again. The good, kind, polite, considerate, and compassionate folks over at Kings Mountain Mr. Tire will FOREVER have my business, I assure you. Thanks yall. God bless!~

I can’t thank Cowboy, Tommy, and the others at Mr. Tire Kings Mountain enough! I was driving from Maryland to Georgia and had an unexpected breakdown just over the South Carolina state line. My car was towed to Mr. Tire. Due to Covid, the tow truck driver would not let my son and me ride with him. I tried Uber, Lyft, and several taxi companies, and had no luck finding a ride. I called to let Mr. Tire know, and Cowboy came to pick us up! They looked over my car and diagnosed the problem very quickly. Luckily the car was driveable as long as I didn’t turn on the heating/air as it was a problem with the air compressor. I was able to drive the rest of the way home, about 3.5 hours. The customer service provided by Tommy and Cowboy went way above and beyond. Very honest and very kind people!
