Amazing service department! I was in from out of town and just bought my highlander and was having some issues and they fit me right in despite being short handed. They were friendly and helpful and got my new battery put in and everything checked for other issues. :) Highly recommend and wish I would have bought from them instead of the other dealer I used.

Awful experience purchasing from these people. And after the sale absolutely no customer service, they literally get mad at you if you try communicate with them about an issue that they should resolve.Most certainly do not purchase anything online from them they will not be honest with you about the information of the vehicle.

Danielle in finance is a rude and obviously bitter person. She THOUGHT she was going to bully my daughter into buying unnecessary extended warranties on a 2022 Corolla. Maybe she has home issues, but never the less, her attitude needs to be checked.Mark, our salesman did an excellent job though.Someone locked unprogrammed keys in the new car, so my child had to wait 2 days before she could even drive her car home. Drove out from Knoxville to pick you a new RAV4. Everyone from sales (Justin Boggs) all the way through to finance (Shawn) was great!We were looking for a specific color, and found out thats several dealers had one listed in their inventory, but they didnt actually have it they were expecting it from factory or from another dealer.Toyota of Kingsport had the car we wanted, everything on the website was accurate, and they were willing to negotiate a fair price with us. We handle the credit app online and all our negotiations were by email and phone. Once we agreed on a price we came in the next day and picked it up.We were happy that we qualified for Toyota 0% interest for 5 years, which we took; but financing also offered us other options with longer terms, not 0% interest but still low.

Took my Maserati to Daniel and James for the Llumar clear protective film to have it installed on the front nose. They did a fantastic job and I am very pleased with this film and their labor of installation. No doubt they really know what theyre doing. I have 2 more cars I plan on taking to them to have this installed on. Highly recommend them to anyone thats considering having this done.

Make sure you get and sign some sort of privacy agreement so they don’t sell your information like mine seemingly has been. I’ve received countless letters in the mail since purchase about scam extended warranties. Other than that, Jon was amazing to purchase from and work with.

I would not recommend taking your car to this service department. After the 15,000 service on my Corolla, I noticed the maintenance reminder was not reset when I left the dealer. I know how to do it so I decided take care of it once I got home. I also checked the tire pressures and they were all 3-4 PSI low. Today I took it for the 20,000 mile service and explained to the Service advisor “Keith” what I had found on the previous visit and he said “They can’t keep an eye on the mechanics all the time.” I told him that I wanted the service done according to the manufacturer’s guidelines “No more or no less”. He said he would make sure it was done. He called me 45 minutes later and said it was finished. I checked it closer this time and noticed the windshield washer fluid was not full. I watched the technician pour over a half gallon of fluid in the tank. Those all were relatively minor oversights but the technicians are obviously not following any type of checklist. Most people don’t notice these oversights, but it eventually leads to issues (time/ money) that they shouldn’t have to deal with because it should have been taken care of during the service. Obviously no one is being held accountable there, so I won’t be returning.

Scheduled my wifes car for a service on a recall. The appointment was at 9:00 am and she arrived at 8:45, the repair was supposed to take 1 1/2 hours for a fuel pump issue. 3 hours later they get done and want even give an explanation why it took so long.

I test drove a Toyota Camry hybrid on 5-26-21. The internet price and sticker on the car was $18,000. When I tried to negotiate a deal the dealer came back, after talking to the sales manager, and said the car was priced wrong and should have been $22,500. This was five days ago and the internet price is still $18,000..... Things that make ya go HMMMM!! 🤔

These guys saved me from a $12k mistake! I had found a Tacoma on Craigslist from private party and called the dealer about the VIN for any kind of safety recalls and information. While there, Chuck the Sales Manager and Ron in sales assisted me graciously by providing a Carfax free of charge. We discovered an odometer discrepancy between what the owner says only had 132k miles, but the carfax reported 197k miles. Thats over 60k miles difference! So thankful to have these two gentlemen with their overextended customer service for a new walk in. Thank you again for your help!

Just took my vechile to the service dept yesterday 3/31/21 and they changed my oil like I asked but as far as checking everything else and rotating tires they didnt do. Legit watched them the hole time. Hasnt reset my service light in the past 2 trips nor rotate my tires like they said they did in the check list and on my last trip they checked my brakes for the yellow saying it needs future attention ( I havent put breaks on this car nor has anyone else) and after this current inspection there magically in the green I mean if my breaks magically regrow Id be ok with that, but that just makes me second guess the quality they put towards their customers in the service dept I feel like they are taking alot of short cuts

Negligent Service Department: blows off service until warranty expiresI’ve been a loyal Toyota customer for many years. Ive loved my trucks and scrupulously maintain my vehicles, obtain regular preventative maintenance, and follow the rules of responsible vehicle ownership. After moving up here from Georgia, at 59k miles, I brought my 2016 Toyota Tacoma into the Kingsport Dealership for the factory recommended 60,000 mile check-up, inspection and replacement of transmission fluid, differential fluid, fuel line checks, fuel injector, the full-9 and also asked the service writer to look into a cyclical groaning noise coming from front diff.When I picked up the truck, I was told everything was good to go. I continued driving but everything was not good-the noise was still present. I brought the truck back a few hundred miles later (at 60,480 to be exact) to address the same noise. The service team diagnosed the issue this time as the front differential, a $2,800 repair. This is a service covered under Toyota’s powertrain warranty which expired at 60k, in between the two services.If you have a critical mind, and are still reading my review, you’re probably wondering why the service team didn’t diagnose the problem at the first request when the warranty was still in effect like me. Well, they said they didn’t drive the car that day and couldn’t diagnose the problem because it was raining. Robbie, the service writer, claims he told me this when I picked up the car, but he didn’t, and there are no notes indicating why the noise wasn’t addressed or that the truck should return for follow-up service when it’s sunny outside.Toyota’s corporate office did offer to cover half the cost of repairs but for me, this is a matter of principal because (1) the issue was brought to Toyota’s attention prior to the warranty expiring and (2) a new truck, that’s just 5 years old and as well cared for as mine, should not have an issue with the gear box, period.Unfortunately, the service department manager Melvin did not feel a responsibility to assist further because we hadnt spent enough money with his dealership to garner his concern. He also suggested I was cheap for not wanting to invest any of my money in this problem (a problem that if diagnosed at our first request would have 100% been covered under warranty).The negligent service of the Kingsport Toyota service department ended up costing me my warranty coverage and I can only assume that blowing off customer requests is business as usual here. The service manager was discourteous, belittling, and made it very clear that he felt no obligation to make the situation right.I understand we are all humans, we all make mistakes. But this guy wouldnt admit to any and showed no true empathy for my situation. I suppose this is the type of service Ive come to expect from dealerships- indifferent, defensive and self-serving.I am no longer a customer of the Kingsport Toyota dealership and wouldn’t recommend their service to anyone. I now take my truck to an independent shop (that hires Toyota master techs with meaningful experience and no ego to protect) where I don’t have to strong arm them into caring for my vehicle and feel much better about giving honest folks my hard-earned money and my business. For all things Tacoma or Tundra, I couldnt recommend Asheville Vehicle Outfitters more. They fixed this noise for $200 and were courteous, hell, even friendly, something Id forgotten after dealing with these guys.Amy, please dont bother responding to pretend you or the dealership care. We got lots of promises from Toyota and you proved yourselves worthless. We called the numbers. We came in. We spent countless hours in your methodically designed and irritating back and forth game that sets you apart from the normal world. You know you were helpless.

Was very happy with Jonathan as my Sales Rep. I asked a lot of questions about the RAV4 I wanted and did not wish to be contacted by phone till I was ready. Jonathan emailed me answers to all my questions the first day and then I contacted him the 2nd day and was ready to come in to the dealership. I appreciated not being pressured as I was also contacting another dealership and they would not answer my questions by email until after they saw I would not answer the phone to speak with them. So I went with Toyota of Kingsport and purchased my RAV4. The only issue I have is with the Financial department (Shawn). I have excellent credit and he was not able to give me a better rate nor was he very friendly during our signing. When asking him about the rate he stated well if you pay if off earlier like you are speaking about it wont really matter. Also, this lienholder is our best bank. He never tried to explain that 72 months instead of 75 months would be better (such as 3.29%). Less than 24 hours later, I was able to obtain a much better rate with NFCU and contacted the dealership. Finally after 3 phone calls a lady called me back and asked what I needed. After explaining the situation and asking if I could change the lienholder she said (right away) we have already sent the paperwork to lienholder and then is there anything else. Very curt and to the point and no apology that she couldnt help. A week later the new lienholder still did not have my paperwork for my new account. I needed to get account number and payoff for NFCU so I could refinance sooner than later (so daily interest rate did not build up). On my second call back to the dealership, Cheyenne called me back right away and was very professional and very empathic to my situation. She listened, asked a few questions, apologized that I didnt receive better service and assured me she would look into this and call me back (which she did). A short time later, Jonathan called me to ask about my vehicle; how it was doing and any concerns. He also apologized I couldnt get a better rate. Shortly after Shawn from finance department called me. He assured me the paperwork was sent immediately after I left the dealership with my new SUV and there was no way they could change lienholder at that point. Furthermore, his computer shows the new lienholder had received the package and it was in the processing stage; and they were holding it up and not the dealership. After much discussion, he finally offered to call me back when the new lienholder showed it was completed and then I could get my loan number and payoff. Shawn did call me back a few days later to let me know the paperwork was finally processed. My interaction with Shawn in Finance was disappointing. I felt he was condescending. I could tell he was trying to be nicer on the return phone call however either he is entirely clueless or totally lacks customer service skills and needs to be retrained. Among some of the things he said; Well you know if you had gone to NFCU prior to coming to the dealership all of this would not have happened. Dah, I realized that after the fact. Never once did he apologize for not being able to get me a better rate or emphasize with the situation . My loan has been refinanced and within 1 hour of applying I was approved with a 2.29% interest rate with NFCU for 72 months instead of 4.11% with BB&T for 75 months. I love my new 2021 Toyota RAV 4 (except the new Stop/Start system) and wish I could give a 5 star rating to the dealership but can not. Would give 5 stars to Jonathan & Cheyenne who went out of their way giving excellent customer service.

I was in the market for a used Chevy, GMC truck or another Ford Explorer.I had dropped by Toyota of Kingsport because they had both.I met Dustin Vaughn on the sales lot and he showed me a beautiful Chevy crew cab truck that had very low miles on it.I told him I would have to get my wife to sign off on it, so he let me take it home for the night. The truck drove beautifully and was loaded to the hilt with tons of options. Well after I got it home we realized that it would not fit in my garage since it was so long. My wife being of optimum wisdom said dear that truck is way to big for what you will use it for. I sadly agreed. The next morning I took it back. I told Dustin that I was really interested in this Ford Explorer Sport that he had. Again he said take it home for the day and let him know in the morning. That Explorer rocked. I am a little prejudice towards the Explorer since this would have made my 10th Explorer. That Sport was the most awesome vehicle I have ever driven.I called Dustin and told him to work me up a fair deal on it and if it was what I expected I would buy it. They worked up a trade number on my old Explorer and we made the deal. These guys are so easy to work with no pressure at all. Thanks Leon Peters for putting the deal together. They also found a small leak in the rear AC line that most dealers would have just put some Freon in it and let you fly off into the no warranty zone. They ordered the part and scheduled me to come in and replace the line and detail my car. Michael Griffith the service advisor who is so professional called me about 2 hours later and said the part from Ford came in and was damaged. Told me they would go ahead and detail car while it was there. He called several hours later and said my car was ready. I can tell you I have been in a lot of car dealers service departments and this one rules. From the ease of checking in, to the professional way the run their department, and the most awesome looking service department that I have ever seen. Mr. Hill, the Hill Family, and the staff of Toyota of Kingsport, KEEP ON KEEPIN ON !!!!!Thanks for the great buying experience. Its a bit creepy almost how much I dont hate dealing with them! As someone who works with COVID patients on a daily basis and then comes out to have required maintenance on their car it’s insulting. It’s 1 year into a pandemic and you can’t require your staff/guests to wear a mask? I guess you don’t care about your healthcare worker and elderly customers that could be severely affected. Debating on buying a toyota hybrid soon and would prob choose this dealership.Edit:ended up buying a toyota prius hybrid through austin and the whole experience was the easiest car purchase i have ever done. Another dealership made me go through a credit check to even test drive their vehicles when i bought my subaru wrx sti. Toyota of kingsport was not like this the second time i returned to the lot we met austin and he had us test driving abunch of different vehicles within minutes. Decided on the prius as it was the best fit for a work vehicle. The dealership has a very nice showroom and when we decide to get our 4th vehicle or trade in the sti you will have our bussiness for sure. Love the new car and great customer service guys. I was in the market to trade in my Jeep Wrangler and was looking for a Tacoma. I called Dustin Vaughn up and told him the make, color and trim I was looking for. He said he had 3 on the lot like I was wanting. I went down to see him and we looked at the 3 that he had. We took the one I liked on a test drive. Did the paperwork on it and Dustin made everything so quick and easy. A lot of dealerships you go to they will hound you about buying a vehicle and look right over your shoulder the whole time. Dustin was so great to deal with. There was absolutely zero pressure felt to buy something and didnt push at all. I would 110% buy another vehicle from Dustin and Toyota of Kingsport. Theyre fantastic to deal with!

Over the last year I have received NUMEROUS calls from T of K telling me that my car was serviced and ready or that Emily called to follow up on my visit yesterday and answer any questions I might have. No, Emily, I was not within 200 miles of T of K yesterday so I did not drop in.I have contacted the dealership numerous times to request that they drop my number from whatever database they use for telephone calls. Each time I received a hollow promise that someone will take care of it and the calls stop for a short while and then its back to disturbing my peace again. Apparently, T of K has either the most inept or unresponsive (or both) level of customer service in automotive history or they just dont care. The calls just wont stop.I live about 200 miles from Kingsport and 2 miles from my local Toyota dealer. I have no interest in buying a car of any make or model. If I was in the market for one I would rather drive 2 miles than 200 especially since these nonsensical calls continue to harass and annoy me. If a dealership cant take care of the small details, such as annoying phone calls, how can they be trusted to be fair and honest about a purchase as costly as an automobile?

We had an awesome experience the other day with Toyota of Kingsport. There was a particular vehicle I wanted to look at, that fit our budget and was the make we wanted, but it was off the lot for cleaning. Jeff Sanders went above and beyond, first helping us find the vehicle (finally finding out it wasn’t there), then calling us back later when it was on the lot so we could finally see it (and ultimately buy it!). He answered all our questions and when there was nothing else we were interested in (with the vehicle we wanted off unavailable) he didn’t push us at something else, which we appreciated. I had my eye on a Tundra double cab, but Dustin talked us into checking out the crew max, and I am very glad he did. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Jeff Sanders was our salesman and he was wonderful. He didn’t pressure us, even after we left and discussed our decision I contacted him to let him know what we had decided. Very courteous and helpful. Shawn in finance was very helpful as well. Overall 100% satisfied!

Easiest car buying experience EVER! I hate to shop, much less spend all day with high pressure salespeople. So, if I’m being honest, I reluctantly stopped to “just look”, while the lot was open. I knew what I wanted and exactly what I wanted to pay!! Well, it took more than the five minutes that I was willing to spend, but I left triumphant, with a shiny new car! I worked with Lee Gragg on my deal. He is wonderful and will do it what it takes to make you a satisfied customer. He would always have a deal ready for me when I would bring my wife’s vehicle over for a service, finally after a year and half, I was ready to buy. I was given a solid deal and treated fairly. I felt like I was purchasing from friends rather than a dealership. They did a great job and even had a great big bow on my Tundra when I came to pick it up!

I personally would highly recommend their service department. Recently this past week I needed to take my Tacoma in for a very simple service appointment Keith got me in and out within 30 minutes has they always do. Personally I have dealt with them for 20 plus years I have never had nothing but great service and fabulous results. The main reason I would highly recommend them is when you go in they treat you not only has a customer but has a friend and take care of all your needs of your vehicle so with that said have your vehicle serviced at Toyota of Kingsport

Decent buying experience. Needed help literally a day later and was told to call Chevy. No help, no follow up, so no return business from me. Other places Ive dealt with would have, at a minimum, provided me with a phone number.
