Wonderful staff when they are able to answer the phone. It seems that there is a big staffing problem and it is very difficult to get hold of someone. Two hour hold times are common even if you call in the morning.

Really slow service, we ordered even a day ahead expecting it to be ready the next day and still not ready on will call. They need to have a better customer service and to be better organized.

A nightmare of nice folks selling a crap product they are forced to publicly defend even while they trash it behind the manufacturers back. The product is Carriers high end Infinity air conditioning/heat pump/furnace system. The problem: it doesnt work due to design defects. Airefcos techs freely admit Carriers software and computer control boards are flawed and screw up the fan speeds and the thermostat controls so, in our house, that means some rooms are 85 degrees while others are 62 at the same time, and the Infinity read-out gives you inaccurate readings, so you are lucky if you dont have pneumonia by the weekend and you literally have to stay home because you dont know what the equipment is going to decide to do while youre gone -- its got a mind of its own, and that mind is demented. Meanwhile, as Airefco promises you firmware updates that will come in a year and fix things, the Carrier factory denies theres any problem at all and claims they have the legal right to change specs at any time, which means when their equipment doesnt work right they tell you that it was never meant to do what they and their brochures and their Airefco sales folk used to tell you it did which was why you rushed out and bought it. Bottom line: the firmware updates dont wind up fixing anything anyway. Lemonade, anyone? In our case, Airefco the Carrier rep had to install a Honeywell controller on our Carrier unit in order to make it work at even a basic level, turning a 14 thousand dollar machine into something you could have bought at Amazon and just plugged in the wall. Stay away from Airefco because they sell Carrier and dont have the courage to stand up to the factory to get the equipment made right. What a disaster this company is.
