Very upscale market by Superiors standard. Very clean and organized as well. Came in and bought the grilled chicken and shrimp ceviche!

Awesome local grocery store! They carry my cant live without Latinx products, the freshest produce in town and their prices for staple items cant be beat! Even the music is good at this place. Margarito, the store manager, goes out of his way to provide the best service. I swear they didnt pay me to post this, but they will call you an Uber for FREE if you spend at least $50, and you live within a 4 mile radius.👌

L Iove shopping at Superior Grocers Market. Great assortment on all fruits and vegetables they are always fresh. Beautiful cakes and fresh Mexican sweet bread, my favorite. They have beautiful floral arrangements. The customer service is outstanding. The store is always clean and well-stocked .

Meat market ALWAYS stinks. I dont think they clean every night. Produce sections is great but avoid the meat department at all cost. I bought chicken from the meat department by the time i got to check out 5minutes later the chicken smelled horrible.

ROTTEN frozen foods. Just purchased Papusas from the freezer section end of January. Opened up box to cook today and found frozen rotten papusas. Not the first time I purchased expired food. Their ready to go hot food always has a sour taste. Never fresh. Had to take back couple times but this here by far is the worst purchase.

I love this store but looks like start hate it .12/30/19 = 5 star = always good deal on steak, chicken and pork, veggies little selection but still good deal on most of the meat .

Love this market. Everyone is friendly. Usually get there early in the morning to beat the crowd. Always buy my bottled water there. Great price.

Everyones friendly, fresh vegetables, no hassle, can pretty much find anything you want.

Use to be great as Superior (just Superior) from opening to the first 2 years, then the up and down roller coaster. Long lines, sometimes super helpful, some times they could care less, sometime super clean, sometime not so much but I endure because many times it had great prices in meats, cheese, fruit, vegetables and eggs. Then it became The Market by Superior and prices shut up (sometimes doubled, yes doubled). Lines are shorter (not sure is because less people like myself shop less or they are actually trying to shorten the lines), the selection is considerably less (about 20%). Many of the constantly good price items are gone, meat is very expensive almost every day, week, month sometime items more expansive than any place within 4 miles. I have not bought meat, frozen items, cheese or eggs at The Market since it opened, I think I have bought stuff at the Market less than anywhere that sells food.

Had many good experiences here. Always go there for their carne asada pre-marinated and always get the vegetable there. I was surprised to see Baby Bok Choy, a vegetable I love. It was freshed. The cashier was very pleasant and nice also. Nice place to shop for your groceries

I like this market! The butcher/food section is pretty good! I mainly go there because they sell the Oaxaca cheese that I LOVE!!! The store is clean and the employees are nice and helpful.

Great meat deals, check their weekly circulars! Also their best salsa is better than Northgates best salsa. Great tortilla chips. Great Banana Nut Muffins. Very good Blueberry and Chocolate Chocolate Chip Muffins. Good produce prices.

Store is clean and everything is in place. If something falls or is damaged, it gets taken care of right away. I have to say of all the Superiors Ive been to, this one has the best pan dulce section. Cakes are really good too. The produce look fresh and it has a variety to choose from. People ate also courteous and happy to help you. I wish that all Superiors were like this.

Hot food & bakery area lack customer acknowledgement I stood in line while another customer was helped, looked like she was a fellow employee from her uniform.She was checked out while I was left standing, looked around for a while until I asked if anyone was working in the hot food service area. Service needs improving.

Just got home after buying some FRESH Guacamole from superior. I took a big bite out of it only to find that it was really bad and definitely not fresh. Been throwing up. This is really upsetting. Not going back here. I would rather make the extra drive to food 4 less or el super. It was a big batch of guac and im pretty sure they are going to keep serving it to customers.

Great experience had everything I was looking for at the last minute. I didnt have all the was needed to complete my Christmas dinner. Unfortunately however, their employees had work on the holiday.

The staff is always willing to help. Amazing deals every week. I love their bolios always fresh and baked everyday, but you cant really trust the cooked food they have prepared; some taste weird and some too greasy than necessary.

It could have been better. I needed help finding Feta Cheese and when asked for the product I was told it was near the cheese down the aisle . The Habernos in the Produce area looked disgusting instead of looking bright orange they had a rotten black appearance to all. I usually do not shop here but on the way home from work I decided to take a chance .

Had a bad experience here sep 22 ... bought wath it was supposed to be cooked octopus for an unexpected family gathering ..but the octo was medium cooked . Or medium rare . What an embarrassment .. when I know my family is coming over I get everything ready .. when theres a surprise event I go to where I trust everything is going to be ready.. I guess its the supervisors task for this one ...

I was in and out fast, the meat dept. could move a little faster instead of yapping away. Other than that the store was not as busy as expected, but I got what I needed.

This place is all right. I went in and I was blown away by the low prices on chicken, until I got the chicken home. It was... Slimy. And a chicken breast that was legitimately the whole chicken breast - lots of cutting needed. Chicken filets I purchased had hardly any fat on them, but they were still slimy. Was hoping to find some awesome canned salsa and hot sauces (seeing as this place has a large Hispanic influence), and there was not much to be found.Checkout line still had plastic bags when I went. Overall I think this place may be good, but for my personal tastes, I will be shopping elsewhere.

Hot baked goods, right out of the oven and freshly made, still hot tortillas. What more could you want? A huge fresh produce department with unbelievable pricing and great quality beats anyone in town. The aisles sport a large variety of hispanic and Asian specialty items. Hungry? Grab some freshly fried hot wings, some fresh carnitas or a rotisserie chicken from the hot deli for dinner. Dont forget your carne asada either; marinated on the premises and priced right. Gotta love Superior.

The clerks have a very bad attitude. They act like the costumers are lucky to get service from them. They tell you that if the meat prices are wrong that that is not their problem and that you need to get out of line and go get that fix. Talk down to you, like you work for them. They see you standing around and act like they are working so they dont have to help you. Today at the costomer sercice. Desk there was three clerks talking and in no hurry to help us. I gave thwm a look like hello Im here and one gave me a grin like so what wait. I guess they dont know that la Mirada has a walmart, Albertson, stater bros. Ect... And that vons, best closed in that same location for bad costumer service. Wow

At 8;50 pm,I bought 3 12 can pack of soda which was priced $8.97 for 3 pack. Cashier charged $4.99 each pack and at the end removed $4.99 results of $9.98. So store manager returned $1.10 to me. Oh by the way cashier said that store have been charging customers like that all day long. Anybody bought can beverage there lately?

Buying anything prepared is a coin toss, they wash dishes irregularly due to cleaning product being out of stock. Dont let the A on the doors fool you, their are many parasites parading around the service counter top and all the prepared food is either microwaved or cooked half assed. Many times I received food undercooked or overseasoned. A simple drive to food for less can get you more bang for your buck, also this location specifically tends to have many expired products that sit on the shelf until a poor customers buys the product. Also dont purchase meat at this location unless you use it same day, they have no issue selling rotten meat at full price. A profit is a profit. That cheap Niagara water is stored in the back next to the garbage can which is full of roaches, but please enjoy your product.

I went to the deli to get Roasted chicken and they were out. They said it woyld be ready in 2 hours. I asked for fried chicken and they were out. I then asked fir rice and beans and they were also out. Iguess ill stick with Northgate. Tney keep a good supply of deli items
