I had a great experience with the Hi Def Eyecare Center located in the Laplata Walmart. I was able to get in before my scheduled time and was able to watch them clean the areas between Clients! My new Glasses were delivered about 4 days before the scheduled date. I had a pleasant experience with all of the Staff that I came in contact with. Sorry to say, not a common practice during Covid!

Doc was great. Perfect, quick exam. Fine selection of frames & a super friendly staff. Perfectly ground lenses; glasses arrived in four days! Guys, these are the best glasses I ever had. Very positive experience!

Everything went smoothly. Arrived on time, taken for the first set of eye tests and picture of my eyes. Then the testing by the doctor. Then finally talking about the results of my tests. Even had the doctor fill out the MVA form to get my Drivers license renewed. Made my trip to the MVA so much easier.

The doctors and staff are all very competent, friendly, efficient and courteous. I was surprised when I went for the first time. But now, I never go to any of the overpriced offices with horrible customer service anymore. I can highly recommend these guys.

I took my daughter to have her eyes examined for the first to me due to her complaining that here vision was blurred. From the first arrival, to the picking up of her glasses, everyone we came into contact with was friendly and gave amazing customer service. The doctor was nice and made her feel at ease. And the lady that assisted with picking out the glasses made my daughter feel great about her choice of style of glasses. I was very pleased. Ive used Hi Def in La Plata for several years and have always had a good experience with them. The doctors and associates are always very friendly. After the exam the doctor (I saw Dr, Elshazli this visit) goes over everything and answers any questions I have. I appreciate all their care.

Hi Def saw my family of 4 with concurrent appointments. The medical assistant was kind and provided great customer service. The doctor and the assistant were great with all 3 of my children, including one that is on the Autism Spectrum and experienced some anxiety. They showed him empathy, kindness and patience, which meant the world to me. JOB WELL DONE!!

I went to Hi Def for a second opinion. Had new glasses made by my regular eye doctor and they made everything jump off the wall. I got sick to my stomach looking through them.My new glasses from Hi Def are perfect. The examination was excellent with complete explanations of what was happening and letting me see pictures of my eyes showing me what I was dealing. I will not be returning to my to my former eye doctor. Thank you Hi Def for a new lease on life. The staff who takes care of what needs to be done as soon as you walk in the door are friendly and efficient. They all know what they are doing and do what they know well.

Recently had a terrible experience with another vision center claiming to be “America’s Best“ so I thought I would try Hi Def.Pleasantly surprised by the team in LaPlata, Md is an under statement. Staff immediately welcomed me and introduced themselves. Paperwork was quick and to the point. Tests were reasonably priced and done in a very clean COVID-19 manner.The doctor (Lauren Rabon) was friendly, personable, and most importantly - very competent. She reviewed my test results and expressed some general health concerns about some of the results and asked that I follow up with my primary care physician. She also offered to share the results with my physician so that the tests didn’t need to be repeated. She also made effective recommendations about my eye care. I never felt rushed and walked out of their store with a new outlook on eye centers.Thanks Lauren and the LaPlata team!

All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Even with COVID-19, the cleanliness of the office is amazing. After each patient the staff cleans both the equipment and chairs thoroughly. The physician was simply the best! I came in for my annual eye exam and asked for contacts with no questions asked! She did an amazing job and was able to assist me with my new prescription! I just had my regular vision check and it was indepth looking to make sure I had no issues. I always gets my eyes dialated just in case there are any problems. Everyone is nice, efficient and covid-19 safe. This is my eye Dr from now on.

This was by far the absolute BEST Eyecare experience Ive ever had! My dear has got his eyes carried for at the Waldorf Walmart, but I like the environment in LaPlata, so I gave you at try. Karla was so sweet and greeted me with a card, so I made the appointment and returned for care. Mrs. A, the Fashionista of the Eyecare Department convinced me to buy 4 pairs of glasses, she suggested 5, but I held out! I have eye coverage in two places, but because Macks experience always went so well, I thought Id try it. Im hooked and will be getting more glasses in the near future. Daniel and Dr. E. just added to my great experience. And they have sections and sections of beautiful, affordable glasses. If youre looking for an Eyecare Center, go no further than LaPlata Walmart.Im all about customer service and they all met the mark.

Love how quick we were in and out, however, they did not have my sons correct contact lens in stock so gave him one similar. I ordered his prescription and they came in and dont fit right so had to go back and have trials ordered. Wish that was done in the first place.

The opticians are very pleasant and I and my mother have had very good results for the exam and picking up our new glasses.

It starts from walking in the techs. that help you with the glasses are the absolutely 3 of the sweetest ladies that was on the 1/29/19 after 2:30. They went above and beyond to help all the customers while helping me this lady needed a frame and I never saw such dedication to the girl that worked on her frame and I know the lady was as happy as I was. The young lady turned me back over to the original person that helped me pick out frames, and either of the 3 ladies could have helped me and I would have been just as happy. I was wearing glasses from Walmart for past 3 years because Americans best gave me the wrong glasses and they charged me over$500 and they weren’t plastic they were glasses that look like coke bottles. Now back to the technician that did the other test such a great young man, and my eye dr. He was good on the eyes as well as knowing what he was doing. I love the hi-def in LaPlata give your people a raise so you can keep them they know their job and insurance.

I had an awesome experience. They did a thorough exam and had a lot of great frames to choose from. I got the Nikon progressive lenses and I couldnt be happier. I adjusted to them quickly. No problems at all. I also got sunglasses which are perfect too. Both pairs of glasses fit perfectly and I didnt need to have them adjusted at all. The girl was very helpful with fitting me for them and when I received them. They came in on the 6th day after my exam. Not bad at all. I will definitely continue to go to WalMart for my eye exams.

Had a minor eye injury, went to the eyecare center without an appointment to be evaluated. Was seen quickly and Dr. went to a lot of effort to tell if there was a serious concern. He couldn’t be sure about the back side of my eye and recommended I see a retina specialist with specialized instruments. He even called them to make Sure i could be seen the next day. I couldn’t have been more satisfied. Actually I wasn’t expecting this level of care just because it is in a Walmart store.

I was in and out in 45 minutes. They are technologically on target given the option 1 or option 2 lasted 2 options. The idea that they took a picture of the inside my eye and showed me what each piece was/did, well I dragged my sister and boys in the room so they could see it!

I lost my LAS PAIR of contacts over night and couldnt wear my old glasses as they were 5 years old and had such a weaker prescription. In a panic I called the next morning (a saturday so super busy, no were else had openings) and they said if I came between 11-1pm I could do a walk in. So glad I did! Had to wait about 30-40 mins but considering I didnt have an appointment I was patient and grateful. I got an exam done for both glasses and contacts and had help from a member there with picking out a pair that was best for me. Ordered that day (a Saturday) and was told I would get them in a week. To my surprise just three days later they called to say they were ready for pickup. So in less than a week I had new glasses, new contacts and was helped by the best staff. Ive gone here for the past 3 years and Ive never had any complaints. Great doctors that take the time to answer all questions during an exam and great staff to help with glasses/fittings. Highly recommend and I will continue to use Hi Def Eyecare in the future!
