Angie helped us find exactly what we wanted, she was so patient while we took forever looking for a bed we like, that we decided to go ahead and buy another bed for the guest room. Jeff had a good amount of patience while we tried out the beds. He was informative on the differences in wear and warranties. Delivery didn’t go perfect but company made it right quickly.Over 90 days later and we still are unable to resolve the tax issue. Provided a Dr. Prescription and bed should be tax free.Somebody dropped the ball! CYA
Daniel Weddle was such a great salesman. We walked in and said we don’t want to spend a lot of money on our mattress and he didn’t try to point out a mattress out of our price range like normal salesman typically do. He was very pleasant and helped us get a really great deal. Thanks Dan!
This was one of the best bed shopping experiences we have ever had. Daniel was extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. My husband has a very bad back, and has been waking up with the discomfort of numbness. It was time to find him a mattress that would give him the support and comfort that he needed. He tried several beds, and Daniel spent the time to point out all of the features of each bed, while keeping our budget in mind. The icing on the cake, was the adjustable base! That was just for me, and what a deal! Thank you Daniel, for making our day, and our nights!
Seemed nice to begin with. Was supposed to get delivery on Saturday but they tried to deliver 2 days early which normally would be nice except we both work and werent ready. We were advised we would receive sales tax back in three to five days. When I called almost 2 weeks later Jeff said I just brought the prescription in 2 days ago. I advised him to look at the date which was Tuesday of the previous week. Its not really about the money but lack of service. I called in today and spoke with another salesman that tried to brush me off after telling me it takes two weeks for a refund. Well whos twlltel the truth! He gave me their customer service number. After calling and being on hold for ten minutes just to receive a message to leave a number and they would call back. At this point I called the Tempur pedic home office in Oregon and spoke with a very nice agent who took all the information about my experience. Very nice. No problem at all with the product. Serious problem with their service!
Went here to buy a Flex king sides bed . The salesman was the worst sales person that I have ever try to but something from. He had a dog in the store and didnt know he if would bite me or my wife. Jeff the salesman was having a bad attitude day. And told him that he needed to control his attitude. He told me and my wife that we were not going to buy a bed to day and get out of his store. If this is the type of people that you would like to deal with then enjoy the abuse. MY WIFE DONT LIKE TO BE TREATED LIKE THIS. YOU MAY. So we went to another store and bought what we wanted and the salesman was very polite an courteous...I think Mattress 1 need to retrain this person. No matter how many sales he has had. He has a bad attitude and needs to in prove...

The negative reviews you read about Mattress One are completely true. I first went into the store in the beginning of August and Dan helped me find a mattress that I loved! He helped me find a finance option and was a pleasure to deal with. I did not yet have a move in date for an apartment I was renting so I could not purchase this day. I returned roughly 2 weeks later and that’s where this all went downhill. Dan was off so I had to deal with Mark. If I had not had such a positive experience with Dan I would not have purchased the mattress after meeting Mark. He has an attitude like you’re bothering him and if you don’t like something he’s showing you and feels is a good deal he gets an even more annoyed attitude. I bought the mattress Dan had shown me and elected for a delivery date about a month away. Nothing is said to me during this time period and the day before it is supposed to be delivered Mark calls me to tell me that the mattress had damage to it and it was now out of stock so I would not have it delivered until “hopefully next week.” I didn’t have a mattress in my new apartment so for me this was not acceptable. Mark then brought on that attitude I had experienced in the store and said “at least I’m calling you so you’re not waiting around all day tomorrow and it doesn’t show up.” I’m sorry but you’re not doing me a favor calling to tell me that a mattress I bought a month ago had damage that you discovered TODAY and it is supposed to be delivered tomorrow, that’s the least you could do. Keeping in contact with your PAYING customer when you can’t uphold your end of the agreement is not a courtesy, that’s your job. He then called me back 15 minutes later saying he was going to have a better and more expensive mattress delivered to me for the same price that I paid. He said it was comparable to the one I purchased and to trust him. I agree because honestly I need a bed. I purchased a Sleep Inc Euro Pillowtop and they delivered a Sealy Black Opal Crown Jewel. This bed literally says “firm” on the tag hanging from it. The next day I speak to a District Manager Shia who is so arrogant and tried to convince me that as a buyer I don’t know what I’m looking for and I should give this mattress a chance. No. I bought a euro pillowtop not a firm mattress. I then go into the original Mattress One and find Dan who does everything he can to fix the issue. The new shipment of the mattress I bought never comes in so I end up having to take the floor model and we set a delivery date. Day before delivery I get a call that it can’t be done that quickly and they would deliver the following week. At this point I just want what I purchased and I’m exhausted from dealing with this company. Next week on the day the mattress is to be delivered Mark calls and says it’s being delivered tomorrow. At this point I’m done and just say ok and hang up. The mattress is delivered at 8 am. I will NEVER purchase ANYTHING from this company again. I feel bad because Dan is so great but this company does not care about their customers. Horrible experience. They did waive my re-delivery fee but I ended up with a floor model, with no warranty because they STILL have not received the shipment of this mattress. As soon as Mark called the first time I should have cancelled the purchase gone to Mattress Firm and had a mattress the next day. Lesson learned.
Jeff Wilensky was our salesperson and he was RUDE. He said at least 4 times he said the state of Florida wants everyone to have these beds (temper-oedic) so they waive the sales tax He was very cocky. Told he was top sales person. At end of sale, he said he has to show sales tax but would be credited back right away. He wrote up ticket, then went over all the free stuff he was giving us. He said heres your total, now you need to go to your dr to get receipt for sales tax so you can get it back WHAT??? that is not what he said the last 6 times he mentioned sales tax (yes 4 times during sales pitch and twice when writing it up) We should have walked out but my husband was really uncomfortable with our current bed. Also we picked different beds, when he gave us price, we were going to go elsewhere, then he talked us in to the middle of line bed. He guaranteed us we would not be sorry. We ended up returning beds within a week and very nice lady Donna helped us. We are now happy with our beds but we would recommend if Jeff is working, walk out and go elsewhere.
Seals person should be fired he is A-big layer and rude. He Also makes mistakes placing orders.The dog he has at the shop needs to go. We will never buy any thing from this shop again.
I wish I would have seen these reviews before shopping here. I have nothing positive to add except our experience with the competitor, Mattress Firm conducted business so professionally that they helped us get over the terrible experience of Mattress One. I won’t criticize the sales person except to say that he did not do his due diligence by checking inventory before promising delivery for an item out of stock. Of course there was an excuse, but what excuse can be offered for not calling us to inform us that THEY DECIDED TO DELIVER NOTHING because ONE of our items was not available? The sales person knew we were in the process of furnishing an empty house so apparently it was just ok for us to sleep on the floor for an indefinite period of time (“We could TRY to get it delivered by ...”). This sale was mishandled in many ways: instead of offering us a measly $100-$150 credit or a hotel room (we have a dog and limited time to set up the new house so a hotel is not an option), they could have delivered the other bedding set that was available, or they could have suggested a comparable replacement set, or they could have offered to deliver any bedding set from the floor for us to use in the interim, and they could have tried to appear apologetic and remorseful. Instead we were treated like expendable customers whose business is not in the least bit appreciated. NOW, two full weeks later they have still not issued credit to our Visa for almost $4000. Buyer Beware! Save yourself aggravation and go to Mattress Firm. Not only did they check inventory and deliver as promised, but we spent less money and the delivery men treated our home with respect by placing a carpet outside our door and wearing booties over their shoes.
Jeff the store manager is nothing short of amazing. Phenomenal person to work with!
Bad experience with salesperson. Would not recommend this store.
