We’ve had an amazing service from them so far, we are leasing a car and we’ve been there for service, recalls and an issue with our driver door contact switch. We managed to make all appointments online, last one was done thru the phone as it needed some spare parts.Each time we dropped our car we were provided with a shuttle to take us back home and they even picked us up when the car was ready! The drivers are nice and one of them even allowed us to pick the music station!The longest we stayed without the car was around 4 hours, which is not bad. First two maintenance are included on our lease and the car door issue was included in the car warranty so we haven’t had to pay anything for this great service.Hope this remains the same so that we continue using their great service.

I had HI hopes. I was scheduled for my appointment at 10 a.m. I dropped my vehicle for 9am just to give them plenty of time to get started. We ran errand got breakfast. Finally around 12 noon I get a call nope my vehicle was not ready. But they are continuing the to run test. All of that time nothing done!!!! Now I sit in the waiting room while my car in the parking lot while the “ get paper work together”. I have been sitting here an hour just to get my keys I am beyond upset NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

I brought my Tiguan in because the brake light was on. I was told it might take a day or two and was given a Jetta as a loaner car. They were very nice and accommodating. I wasn’t expecting a loaner car at all. It didn’t even take a full day to fix my Tiguan. They told me that same afternoon that my Tiguan was ready, so I returned the loaner the next day and picked up my Tiguan. Great service and really nice people!

Gave me an awesome price on my trade-in and gave me an even better price on my new 21 Jette Premium. Alberto was great at communicating with us about our texas license plates and any concerns we had. Worst experience by far. These people are going to tell me I need to change my manifold intake on my vehicle and I just changed it . When I tell tell them I just changed that part from there dealership they tell me it doesn’t need to be changed it’s just a older version. How it’s a older version when y’all just sold me this part? I asked the manager glen why my engine light oil keeps coming on. He says the oil was real low when I dropped it. How was oil low when I dropped it after I changed my oil. I’m glad I brought my vehicle to Volkswagen Plus across the street. They fixed my vehicle in 2 days. My car was sitting two months before that. Southwest Volkswagen didn’t even charge me once they realized I knew what they was doing. Never going back here again. Would not recommend this place. They will make up what’s wrong with your vehicle to spend more money.

Only have dealt with the parts department. Parts manager was easy to talk to on the phone. Was able to get the part I believed I was looking for and received in a timely manner. As far as when I got to the parts department, was second in there as they were helping another costumer, then a third customer walked in and he was helped before they finished with the first customer and before I was even told hello. I waited for 30 minutes to get help. All in all, parts manager is knowledgeable and friendly on the phone. For that 5 stars.

I dropped my car off on March 5th, 2021 for them to re look at it after all of the ABS lights were coming on. Mind you we had recently paid them 3400+ a few months prior for our 200,000 mile service and for them to completely change the fuel tank out. Not even a few weeks later I was having to drop it off for the braking system. They denied me a rental both visits and Because my husband is deployed I had to ask for help with bringing my car as lake Charles Vw wouldn’t take it since they didn’t do the service. So, I was denied a rental twice as they “didn’t have one available” They said this service was going to cost $2900 on the phone but I was charged $3,035. On March 30th I called an approved for them to start the work on my car after I hadn’t heard from them in awhile and they’d had the car for weeks at this point. On April 2nd I went to the dealership to get a few things out of my car as I didn’t think they’d have it that long. I asked the guy when my car would be ready and he said he had no idea. Well, on may 3rd, 2021 I got a call it was ready and I was charged the $3,000+ and I drove all the way to Lafayette from Lake Charles to pick it up and I noticed my seat was torn. I went in frustrated. I have dropped thousands of dollars on this car and they were gonna let me take it home with a torn up seat. The floors weren’t vacuumed. A guy named Joshua C came out and took photos and giggled saying “you just need to trade it in” and another salesperson said “what animal got ahold of your car” as they laughed. My car has sat there at that dealership parking lot in the back for months and we were treated as a joke. NEVER AGAIN. I have a feeling a layer will have to fix this Situation since they joked about it. So, I don’t recommend this place at all.

Alberto Grimaldi at Southwest VW Lafayette, La. hooked us up with a top of the line Tijuan for bottom line cost. He made the buying experience painless. I never owned a VW before but I now may not own anything besides it.

I had a appt at 7:30 am on Friday. CalledHeather around 3pm the same day to maybe get a update. She said she had no update. After waiting 18 hours and no call from Heather, Terry (very nice) finally called me and told me that my coil pack and sparks plugs needed to be changed and the charge would be $870 dollars. I’m like ain’t now way this could be, she also told me she had all the parts in stock and could get me in the schedule one day next week, but couldn’t tell me what date. So basically I had no clue of when the car was going to be fixed. I was called at 1pm and they closed at 3pm on Saturday. So I declined to have it fixed so Terry told me I need to pay 135.00 because I’m declining them to fix it. After getting parts for only about 200.00 and 30 minutes to take old out and put new in, it’s very frustrating to me to know that y’all Would of charge me almost 700 in labor to do a tune up, I feel like y’all tried to fool me and if y’all did that to me then y’all are doing that to many customers. How do u charge someone $135 after waiting 18 hours for just a update? I felt like I was ripped off and y’all just took money from me. How does it take 18 hours just to get a update on what’s going on with your car and has no clue when it will be fixed just for a tune upNO COMMUNICATIONOVER PRICED

It’s all about the service.Brought my car in initially for Servies to the ERG and exhaust system. I had $3,000 of warranty work completed on my car including an oil change. I made it less than 100 miles and my belt blows out. A belt that is inches away form the parts that I just had worked on and none of the mechanics noticed a worn belt, squeaky pulley or bad tensioner.I couldn’t drive the car broken so I had to take a sick day and put my car on a trailer and tow it to the dealership. The service writers asked me to put it in the back lot and I am told they will get to it sometime that day. That was on Monday. On Wednesday I was told I was second in line for today. Now it’s end of business day Thursday and still no one has looked at my car. The manager was supposed to call me and I still haven’t heard from him either. So here I am 4 days later, no car or any clue as to when we will be fixed.The one star at this time is for the brand.

They put 300 miles on my car and dented up the top and trunk of my Passat!!I took my Passat in almost 4 weeks ago for a warranty issue. They reluctantly gave me a Jetta to take home after they realized they would have to keep my car for more than 8 hours. I had to call in a couple times a week to get any updates. I decided to stop at the dealership to check in on my car and let them know their Jetta had engine light and other warnings. I didn’t see my car, and they put me in another Jetta with less than ¼ tank & smelled like someone smoked in it.At the beginning of week 4, I was finally told I could pick up my car and that it was as simple as hoses that had not been attatched.It had 300 miles on it, and dents on the top and trunk, and something that will hopefully be able to be buffed off of the hood.When I went in to talk to Ed Duncan, the service manager, and asked about the 300 miles, he didn’t even blink. As if that was to be expected with the repair! He tried to tell me the dents were hail damage, & when I asked where the hail damage was on the rest of the cars on his lot, he had nothing to say. With no apology, he gave me the card of a repair shop so I could spend my time getting an estimate and they would pay for it. He said they did me a favor by giving me a loaner car because they don’t get paid for that.I love my VW, but this is the worst service I’ve ever gotten. Please BEWARE.

Service and parts department do not communicate very well.. called to price a battery and was given a price but once I got to the dealership it was a much higher price, I waited over an hour to have battery placed and they were not busy at all. When I was told the new price I explained that it wasn’t the price i was given over the phone and I wouldn’t have taken time from work to come here. Horrible customer service and they tried to get over on my wife! My wife called to price a battery, They have her one, then she asked if that was the price with taxes included, they said yes! Once she got there to pay for the battery, they tried to charge her an additional $60 extra for changing out battery. Smh will never go there again!!!

Salesmen was nice and courteous. The manager was a snake. They asked to take of the financing so I gave them a shot. Me credit is excellent so much to my surprise he try’s to close with us with a 8 percent interest rate! When I voiced my displeasure with it he actually said this to me “ Yeah but look at the bright side you will be a new member of this credit union!”Why would I want to be apart of a credit union that charges 8 percent interest on an auto loan?!Anyway I used my own for less than half the rate.I got a good deal on the car but the manager is unscrupulous and looking to take advantage of uninformed people. A stereotypical car sales man!The salesman, Zack, was very good though.

I purchased a 2017 blue Chevy Malibu from this dealership. Not once did anyone or the dealer mention to me the vehicle had moisture/water leaking into it on rainy and humid days. I know the dealer knew about it because there was powder on the carpet in the behind and under the back seat to cover up the smell and moisture build-up. Ive had to take off of work to get this fixed. I would not recommend anyone to this dealership.

Went to look at a few cars I saw in their Quick Quarter ad. I met with Rowdy Reynaud who showed us nearly every pre-owned car in their collection. He answered every question and was polite and friendly the entire time. The car I ended up choosing had a large crack in the windshield, but the dealership scheduled and paid for Safelite to repair it.
