This review is for customer service only, as I was not able to have any work done on my vehicle because they blew me off both times I booked an appointment. I work Monday to Friday in San Francisco but the shop was recommended to me because they do a very good job supposedly with both window tinting and vehicle wraps which I am in the Market for for my new car. Seeing as they are about a 45 minute drive from my house I needed to make an appointment on the weekends and they have (what seemed like) convenient Saturday hours listed on their website and through their booking service. My first appointment was on a Saturday in March and the Friday before they emailed me saying that they were “out of window tint” and need to reschedule my appointment which they proceeded to do without asking me - to the middle of the day Monday. Clearly I cannot make this appointment as I hold a normal 9-to-5 job, and so I rescheduled for the following Saturday at 8 AM. When I got to the shop about 10 minutes before my appointment it was locked up tight and there was a hand written note taped to the door saying they were closed for a week. The night before I had gotten a confirmation email of my 8 AM appointment for the following day, and I’m very disappointed that I was blown off twice by the shop and a little angry i drove 45 mins each way toGet there only for them to not be there! It was incredibly unprofessional and I don’t think it matters how good your tinting or wrapping services are if this is how you treat your customers. I will be finding somewhere closer to my house to get my windows tinted and my car vinyl wrapped.

Diablo Smog is Very meticulous and knowledgeable. The best in town hands down!!Luis and his team are super friendly and have a quick turn around. If you want the job done right look no further!!

Made an appointment online an there is no mention of them loosing their technician online, only to drive there a few days later to find a piece of paper on the door saying they are not open at the moment and looking for a tech. Very inconvenient.

The guy at the shop asked to see my vehicle title and registration, which I dont believe he is required to see for a smog check. He then refused to test my vehicle when he learned the bulb for my check engine light had been replaced. I was glad to take my business elsewhere. The vehicle passed smog less than an hour later. Dont waste your time with this place.

Walked in for first appointment. Was very friendly, offered me coffee, water, soda, comfortable waiting room with tv and magazines. Very impressed with the service and business. I have used them before and always been well served.

Poor communication and non-professional, Have dealt with this business twice and am done. Take your business to a dealer who cares about customer service and delivering on a service.

Complete bum, crook and scam artist. Stay away unless you want to waste $70

I parked outside, walked into the office and waited. The guy didnt come into the office or look up even though he was directly behind the glass screen facing towards me. So, I walked around to the back of the workshop and from the entrance I called to him. He turned and said come around to the office. I said, its ok, I just want to know if you have time now to do a smog test? He said again, this time irritated, just come around to the office. I said, I was already in the office, cant you just give me a quick yes or no?. He says, just come around to the office. I said, ok, no, goodbye. He says, ah, f*** you. The place wasnt busy, completely empty of customers unsurprisingly and only one rude and ignorant person working there.

I have been taking our 3 cars here for years and theyre great.

I took my car in on a Sunday morning and within 15 minutes was finished and out the door. Friendly, convenient service.

The cashier told me that they didn’t do smogs there. It’s written everywhere that they do them but he said no to me.
