I recently had 3 beds ruined after a sump pump malfunction in a basement where they were being stored. I had a week to get them replaced and Jonathon from Holder Bedding was able to make 3 brand new beds, as well as, personally drop them off within 3 days. He was a huge help and the beds are extremely comfortable. I highly recommend them!

The quality of Holder Bedding is second to none! We bought 3 mattresses from Holder 20 years ago and they’re still going strong! We do regularly rotate our mattresses end to end and also flip them over. The only mattresses that will be in our family homes are from Holder. I went to Holder Bedding back in December of 2020 and bought a queen size mattress. At the time I had just bought my first house and got rid of my old bed. It was brought up over conversation and the owner (whomst name I forget now) told me he would push me ahead and have my bed done in 3 days. We bought a Regalia Luxury mattress set a year ago and love the mattresses. We like the idea of flipping the mattress and rotate to even out the wear. We bought from Jonathon and he was very helpful. My experience with Holder Mattress Company has been wonderful. Due to many back surgeries I needed a very hard mattress. In my discussions with the sales person we had confusion between the words hard versus firm and I ended up ordering a mattress that had a lot of give to it which made it impossible for me to use. When I contacted one of the owners I told him the situation and they built a new mattress for me without charge. There was no argument from them. They did not try to change my mind, rather it was a straightforward discussion.I have never been treated so well by any business I’ve ever had dealings with. I was interested in the bed in a box 📦 called the Zombie bed. I called them up and spoke to Jonathan. He was very informative and took aside time than to explain the details and history of this company. He listened to my concerns and I explained that I haven’t slept well in almost a week due to our current mattress issues. He kindly told me that he would do everything he could to expedite shipping faster for us and I offered to pay more for that and he declined. He wanted to cover that at no additional cost. I bought my first Holder mattress in 2006. It was the only place to get a custom sized mattress for my antique bed. And you know what? Im glad they are the only place that makes custom sized mattresses because they are the best quality to be found. Their mattresses are two sided and hold up longer, so that mattress lasted 13 years. And honestly, theres nothing wrong with it, my body just changed in those 13 years. My second and current Holder mattress makes for the most comfortable sleep. I wont sleep on anything else. I would argue that these guys know more about mattresses than anyone. All of the salesmen know exactly what goes in every mattress because they are the ones who actually build them right there at the store. Jonathan was very knowledgable and helpful. He listened to my needs and suggested the perfect solution. With all of their combined experience, theyve heard and seen it all, so they know what they are talking about. They go to great lengths to make sure every customer is satisfied and they really take pride in their product. Its no wonder they have been around as long as they have. He was very knowledgable and I liked that he wasn’t pushy but rather just presented the facts so we could make the best decision for us. This local company makes the mattresses in the store, they are all double sided so they last a long time. They said if it’s too soft or too firm, just bring it back and they’ll make it right within a day. After purchasing the mattress, it was made and delivered to our house within 48 hours! And the price was very reasonable, slightly less than another place in town and double sided, so we feel we got a great deal, and he threw in a set of very nice sheets!! The mattress is incredibly comfortable as well! All our future mattress purchases will be done at Holder.

It was my first time shopping for a mattress on my own and I was a little leery of the whole process. He was the opposite of what I expected any salesman to be. He gave me some helpful info right off the bat, then left me on my own for awhile to look. He didnt press me towards their most expensive options either. All their mattresses are double sided (twice the life!) and if you live in town their delivery is much cheaper than I was expecting. I was very impressed by this place and was in and out of there in less than an hour with my new mattress coming next week! If youre looking for a new mattress I would check this place out first.

This is the second time I have used Holder Bedding. I have had wonderful experiences both times. The management, staff and delivery personnel are very polite and great to deal with. They even were kind enough to make a bed for the truck for our dogs with the leftover material for our mattress! These mattresses last way longer than others. Went in today to shop around. Jonathan was very informative and helped us find the best mattress after asking our opinion on a few we tried. He was not pushy at all though. We are both very thin and have a hard time finding a mattress that is soft enough but still supportive. We found the perfect mattress there. It has the softest top they sell but also one of the firmest springs to provide support. They deliver for a small fee and can deliver at a time when you are available. Not like the cable company.Update: We have had the mattress for 6 months. It feels exactly the same as the day we bought it. Which is to say that it still feels perfect. We now both hate going out of town and sleeping in any other bed. This mattress has ruined all other mattresses for us. I hope Holder Mattress will be around forever because I am a customer for life.

My husband and I decided to stop in to look into Holder Beddings mattresses after seeing some of the online reviews. We had been thoroughly exposed to the usual mattress sales tactics in the area before stopping by this small establishment. That said, it was a pleasant surprise to see that there was a very simple selection of mattresses and the differences were easily explained to us. They appeared to be very well built with a two-sided flippable design.There was no pressure to purchase and the gentleman that helped us seemed more interested in getting us a bed that fit our needs while staying within budget constraints than making the sale. He gave us the information we needed to make a decision... and we decided to purchase based on the percieved quality, value, and most importantly the no-nonsense explanations.The decision to purchase has been a very good one. They delivered the mattress on-time as promised and the setup was professional. We have been sleeping on this mattress set for approximately ten weeks now and it has worked very well for us. Its been discussed and the next time we need a mattress, we will go here first. If they conduct business as well as they did with this transaction, then the decision to purchase will again be an easy one to make.

When we went to buy a new bed, we checked around and they still had the best product at the best price. Needed new mattresses for our 13 and 15 year old daughters. Really happy with the honesty and ability to actually lay on the mattresses in store prior to ordering them. We laid on a Casper and Leesa mattress at stores in Indy and felt they were way too soft - like they wouldnt hold up over time. Zombie Bed in store felt like our over priced Tempurpedic but significantly less expensive. Happy to help an a family owned business like Holder Bedding and my daughters love their new mattresses!

We love our mattress so much we have just recently purchased two more sets of mattress and box springs for my other daughter and grand daughter and once again Jonathan was very easy to deal with and fair when it comes to pricing. My husband and I have been sleeping on our Holder mattress for about a month now and it has hands down been the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. We are incredibly satisfied with our two new mattress/box spring sets! We worked with Jonathan and he helped make it a great experience. We really appreciated how he knew his products, details, specifications, etc. Our mattresses were made quickly and were very reasonably priced for all that they are tailor-made. The delivery folks took great care, as well. We received great customer service, and locally, too, how convenient is that!

We got our first Holder mattress when we were expecting our first child which was over 40 years ago now. We have returned countless times for twin mattresses, queen size mattresses for our kids as they grew, even a specialty size for one of our parents who needed a mattress and foundation for an antique bed. We have also purchased fabulous pillows for all of our beds. We are extremely happy with all that we have purchased from Holder and enjoy buying locally and from a family company. I purchased my King Legacy four weeks ago. Its been the best four weeks of sleep Ive had in ten years. I dont wake up with back pains . Im more relaxed and not tossing and turning all night long. I highly recommend this mattress. I feel completely refreshed and recharged every day.I couldnt of asked for better customer service at Holder Bedding. I didnt feel pressure to buy as soon as I walked in the door. The owner was super nice and showed me where each beds are hand built and locally made . Jonathan also showed me all the different quality of mattress they can build to suite my or anyones needs.Day of delivery wasnt going to be easy for the guys. My stairway is steep and has a turn in it. The delivery crew made it look easy . Holder Bedding is by far the BEST place to buy a mattress in the local area. (honestly I would argue its worth driving out of state to buy from!) Jonathan was both patient and helpful as my wife and I tried out different mattresses, giving us the pros and cons of each. He made our visit go as smoothly as we could have ever hoped for. During the mattress delivery, we basically just had to open the door and they did all the work.We have slept on our mattress for nearly a week now and it has been the best week of sleep weve had in months! I have been a customer of Holder Bedding for 25 years because of the quality of their products and the consistently great customer service. I recently stopped by the store on June 2 to pick out a new mattress/box springs and was greeted by Jonathan, one of the owners. Jonathan was very friendly and knowledgable and allowed me plenty of time to experience the different mattresses while he continued with his work. No pressure whatsoever to make a sale! It didnt take me long to decide on a purchase and arrangements were made for delivery. I received my made-in-Lafayette mattress set earlier today, June 13, and couldnt be happier. The double-sided pillow-top mattress is incredibly comfortable and the quality of the craftsmanship is excellent. Count me as a very satisfied customer!

My back had been bothering me for over a year and I KNOW it was because my mattress. I was basically sleeping in a hole for a long time. I sleep on my stomach so it was putting a lot of stress on my back as I woke up daily with a back ache. My wife is 6 months pregnant and I know it’s difficult for her to get comfortable at night as well.I live in Fishers but made the trip to Lafayette at the recommendation of a friend. I looked them up on Google reviews and saw great feedback. When I walked into Holder Bedding Mattress Factory, I spoke with Merrick. I noticed immediately upon entering that there was a shop in the back. I got the tour and Merrick explained to me that each mattress is made by him or his team to each orders exact specifications. He explained that if I didn’t love it, he would keep working with me to make the mattress that would work for both of us.Merrick spent an hour with me going over probably 10 different combinations of firmness before deciding which one I wanted. Ultimately, I decided to have one side of the mattress a bit firmer and the other softer for my wife. I found it interesting that by sides had pillow tops which I didn’t know was a thing. I thought I was driving him crazy after laying on these different combination of memory foam and pillow tops for well over 30 minutes. He was very patient with me and exceeded my expectations by providing so many additional options than the standard display options.No mattress store would have ever let me do that. However, Merrick did. He wanted to make sure I was 100% sure what I was buying and how it would feel. The mattress took about 3 weeks to make and was delivered at my house in Fishers. We also purchased the adjustable bases and his delivery guys set them up, program the remotes, explained how to properly break in a mattress, and then hauled my old frame, head board and mattress away at no additional cost.I was most pleased with my experience with Holder Bedding Mattress Factory and would recommend anyone looking for a mattress made for you that’s priced better than the competition, to make the drive to Lafayette. You won’t be disappointed.

My wife and I had been looking for a replacement of our memory foam mattress that we bought off of the internet, for some time. We went to the various mattress stores in the Lafayette area, including Holder Bedding. I asked around, and found the reputation of this business to be sterling. Friends and coworkers seemed to hold this business in high regard.Intrigued, my wife and I visited the show room with no intention to purchase. Yet, after talking with John and learning about the manufacturing process that he uses, and then testing out the various models available, we decided to purchase the Heirloom mattress. After discussing our preferences, John let us know that he would build our mattress and we would have it in about week. He took the time to explain the components of the mattress and what each component (coils, foam, topper, box spring, etc) did and how it contributed to the overall feel of the mattress. He left us alone to try out the mattresses in the show room, and John went to the back to work on a mattress he was building for another customer. These mattresses are really constructed and sold locally by a family owned business.The mattresses are also double sided. Meaning you can rotate and flip the mattress to prolong its lifespan. For a reasonable fee, the mattress was delivered on time by two very professional associates of Holder Bedding.The first few night on the mattress were worrying as we thought the mattress was too firm, but after less than a week, the mattress softened. After having this mattress for almost a month now, we are pleased. The quality of this mattress and the level of service we received is nigh impossible to find in other mattress purveyors.

This is the best place to get a bed and Ive honestly never known other places who talk to you about sleeping problems you might have or for me the surgeries Ive had and I get hot very easily and they took all of that info to make the perfect bed for me~! Also extremely nice guy working and I told him about the last bed I got and how it had the pillow top thingy and I liked that and he said that theirs have that on both sides and my old one didnt and just gave me so much knowledge and on that note them having it on both sides would be better if I ever did flip it over and that of course made so much sense so amazing people who do amazing work and I will definitely tell others to go there and my past 2 back surgeries and the pain I still had it meant the world to have them make my bed and if I ever hear someone say surgery I will go up to them and tell them to shop here and they will work with you~!!

Just bought my second Holder Bedding mattress and will never go anywhere else. First one lasted 13 years. The folks are honest, upfront and know thier business. You will pay a little less than the big name mattress companies but, get a much better, custom made mattress, EXACTLY like you want it. Locally owned and operated. Dont waste your time anywhere else, just go there for your bedding and you will be more than satisfied.

I bought my son a queen double sided mattress from Holder Bedding in April 2014. The staff is amazing and made it extra soft for him. The material and detail is beautiful and quality is exceptional. My son said it is very comfortable and he loves it!! I recommend Holder Bedding to anyone looking for quality and value. I also live an hour away and it was delivered to me anyways. We would highly recommend Holder Bedding. We knew it was time for a new mattress, but had no real idea of what we desired, even after a great deal of research on the internet. We had heard good things about Holder mattresses - comfortable, extremely well made, excellent quality, and a local business, not a chain. When we went in, we were greeted promptly, told a little bit about the features of the various mattresses, and told to Take your time, try them out, see what feels best to you. At no point was there any pressure or a sales-person hovering over us, but any questions we had were answered promptly and completely.Delivery was easy - Holders people worked around our schedule to be sure the delivery time was convenient for us. Our new mattress is phenomenally comfortable and both of us are sleeping better than we have in years. It is great to deal with a business that actually does what they promise.

We recently purchased the firm Legacy king mattress set, and it has literally changed our quality of life. After dealing with a sciatic nerve and shoulder problems, and both of us waking up numerous times throughout the night on our old Posterpedic mattress, we are now consistently getting a full nights sleep since switching to the Holder mattress. The sciatic nerve has pretty much gone away, and shoulder issues have greatly improved, and all it took was getting on the firm Holder mattress. Hands down the best experience I have ever had in purchasing a custom mattress and sleeping on one! My needs were met beyond expectation! I have a jawbone which tells me at night how many times I awaken, before my Holder mattress I would wake up a minimum of four times throughout the night. I have had my mattress a month now and I can say I havent woken once in the middle of the night... Not once! This mattress is literally a dream come true. I without a doubt would recommend Holder for all your mattress needs, from customer service, the warranty they uphold, to the product itself. Best money I have invested in myself ever! I love my holder mattress!!! The company is family owned and your mattress is made right here in Lafayette, Indiana. They even make them to your needs and wants.They still make the double sided mattress which last longer. The quality is exceptional. The service is above and beyond what you would expect. I wouldnt recommend any other mattress to my friends and family, and I havent. Lots of them sleep on Holder Mattresses...YOU SHOULD TOO!!!!

We talked to several mattress companies in Lafayette before deciding to go with Holder. They are the real deal. They are a family run operation and were the only ones we found who actually made their own beds. They also happened to be very reasonably priced. We will be coming here for our mattresses in the future.

I owned a latex mattress for several years and loved it. Its the only mattress that assured me I would awake without back pain. This summer my sister and I both purchased latex mattresses from Holder Bedding. The people there are awesome and go way beyond when it comes to customer care. I bought my first Holder bed 9 years ago at my sister-in-laws suggestion. She grew up in the Lafayette area and insisted that Holder Bedding sold the best mattress in town. Well she was right and after also suggesting Holder to my parents our entire family is made up of Holder devotees! We all enjoy the personal touch of working with a family-owned business, being able to see where our mattresses are made, and knowing what kind of materials were used to make them.I am a firm believer in a good nights sleep. How well you slept and how you feel when you wake up can determine your entire outlook on the day. If you arent sleeping well or are waking up in pain for weeks or months on end it is going to have a negative impact on your life. Your mattress is more than just a place to sleep it determines how you feel every day.Since I bought my first Holder mattress set I have lugged it through 5 moves in 4 different states. The idea of leaving it behind and buying a new mattress from someone else at my destination never even crossed my mind. It is the thing I look forward to most when I come home from a trip; a respite from too hard or too soft hotel beds, 40 year old mattresses, and inflatable torture mats we sleep on when travelling and visiting family. After a long day at work I look forward to curling up on my Holder mattress knowing Ill wake up refreshed.Alas, it was time for a new mattress this year and after weighing our options my husband and I decided we wanted another Holder bed. Johnathan made a bed for our father a year ago, and he has ben thrilled with it.shortly thereafter we had one made for ourselves and we couldnt be happier.Most recently my father has decided to split his time here and with my sister in Maryland, so rather than trying to match his bed out there my wife thought we should ask Jonathan about it.l am so glad we did.Not only did we get the exact same bed but then Jonathan helped us ship it to my sisters and it is now set up and waiting on dads arrival next week.Thank you Jonathan for all your expertise and professionalism.
