There are two main people that I have dealt with here. I will only speak about Robert on this one. I paid for a tubeless install on my wheels, and he installed tubes in them without asking me when I had already paid for all of the sealant and labor. He told me that I didnt know what I was talking about was very disrespectful. He was aggressive and confrontational while kicking me out of his bike shop. He locked the door behind me and kept on unlocking it to yell at me while my son was in my truck. I hope you read this and save yourself the trouble by dealing with Robert. If they ever get rid of him I will consider going back, but the guy is a disaster.

Very disappointed with this business. My bike was there for over a week and never looked at. I was given a no later than Saturday due date. On Saturday, I was given a no later than Monday. When I politely expressed my disappointment, the mechanic became very confrontational and rude. He told me that if I didnt like it, I could come get the bike. I did just that. Surprisingly, he wasnt as rude and confrontational in person..... I will not return.

Robert took the lead on repairing my Surly. I walked in with a new set of shifters thinking that they were part of my problem, but he assured me that mine were okay but I needed a new rear derailleur. The nine speed derailleur I had is tough to come by, but he did some research and found two new comparable ones nearby. I ended up buying a used one on eBay, dropped it off, and the bike was fully repaired the next day.Robert’s communication was clear, the price was excellent, and my eight year old bike feels like a new one. They replaced the chain, cassette, rear derailleur, cabling/housing, bar tape, and did a full tune-up. I couldn’t be more pleased, and this is where I’ll be bringing my bike next time.

I came in to have them fix my tire and they were so backed up that they wouldnt have been able to get to my bike for weeks. The man working there took the time to show me how to fix my own tube. It was excellent customer service and will definitely be coming back. Thanks!

New in town, thought I would stop by for parts instead of an online order I was about to place - couldnt have been less interested. Salesman / mechanic was disinterested in what I was asking for before literally turning his back on me and leaving me hanging. Tried it, wont go back.Feeling a lot less guilty about supporting online vendors and their great customer service now Ive tried local.

Lost customer for life. After purchasing 6 Specialized bike over the span of 3 years, we called Robert to place an order for 2 more Specialized Rip Rock 24) bikes. One specific color was only available at Cycle And Sport in Bismarck, ND. We made arrangements with Cycle And Sport to have the bike shipped to Acadiana Bicycle. We contacted Robert and gave him all the details and gave him the order to purchase the two bikes. After a week, we had called Robert at least 6 times to check on our order, but he was always unavailable to speak with us and would not return our phone calls. My last call to Robert, he answered the phone and started lying and making excuses why he had not done anything with our order. He became angry, disrespectful and hung up the phone on me. Acadiana Bicycle has lost this customer forever. I then called Cycle And Sport, in Bismarck and talked to the manager to explain the situation. He was very kind and generous and agreed to sell us the 2 Rip Rock bikes and ship them directly to our home. Unbelievable that you can not make a bike purchase from your local community bike shop.

Acadiana Bicycle has some good employees and a few in there that will lie to you and try to make a sale instead of tell you what is best for your bikeToday I was asked in a rude manner to not talk to the customers while I was waiting in line about getting an item When the employee at the store asked me in a rudely way not to speak to the customers I’m assuming he did not like the conversation or the Friendly advice that I was offering a friendly person And I believe the employees name is Robert he’s been there for a couple of years at least in my opinion they need to get rid of him

Robert and the other guys at the shop are great. They always do a good job whenever I bring in my Roubaix.

Knowing next to nothing about bicycles, I entered this place hoping to learn a little and see if I could get a bike to fit my needs. I was absolutely blown away by the extreme amount of knowledge the employees had about bikes. Everything they said was easy to understand, they asked the right questions in order to understand what I needed, and they had genuine care in wanting to make sure I got not only what I wanted but what I needed.They were also very easy to talk to, and just so welcoming. I dont think Ive ever felt more comfortable in a retail store, especially one that Ive never entered before or had any familiarity with the products they sold. Im genuinely looking forward to going back.I was able to find the right bike for me and my use case. I couldnt be more satisfied, and I highly recommend visiting Acadiana Bicycle Company. Even if youre just curious, its 100% worth a stop-in.

Hi,I purchased box a bike service for $54.23 on 12/3/19. I spoke to Robert on 12/2/19 over the phone about this service. He was friendly and kind. He explained to me that they would take great care of my bike and it would be packed like they would shipped it to someone.Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience. The packing wasn’t completed. The box was left open and I was told they didn’t have any packing tape. I didn’t tell them I needed to put anything in the box. Instead of offering a 10% discount for lack of supplies and not executing the services 100%. I paid the full price and was told they weren’t giving me a discount when I asked.This is why I am giving them 3 stars. Everything else was ok.

I purchased my bicycle here and have really enjoyed it. I had picked out 3 different models but couldnt really decide which one was the best fit for me. Rob helped me think everything through, and when I left, I was comfortable with my decision and love the bike. Very professional, patient, and informative.

Always great service. Ive bought a few bikes from here and have always been more than happy. I love their service bar. I ride everyday so it is nice to know there is a place to go where they get you back on the road quickly. Most times they will fix my bike while I wait. Great people and and great bike shop to support.

I was recommended to ABC by many friends and I listened to their advice. Glad I did! They didnt have the bike I wanted so they got it in only 2 days later and now I have a bike shop quality set of wheels.They take great care of their customers. Friendly and knowledgable people with a nice shop full of lots of quality bikes and equipment.5 stars!

Very disappointed! I was denied an exchange from a purchase the week before that happened to be defective. Id also scheduled to drop my bikes off and when I showed up after unloading them I was told that I could not drop it off. All of this in the same visit. Very disappointed and I will not return.

Great knowledge and service

I purchased my bike from here over a year ago. The stage was great and knowledgeable. They helped me find the perfect bike. Even though the size for the exact bike I wanted wasnt there they let me ride a similar sized bike around to get the feel.Ive even messed up the bike a couple times in my adventures. Every time I bring it back they know exactly what needs to be done, and I get it back quicker than expected. I try to talk every friend looking into a bike into buying from here.

Needed peddles for staionary spin bike, I was turned down by some other bicycle shops in town including those specializing in fitness equipment. I contacted ABC on Friday and was told to bring in bike, the next day the guys at ABC took care of me within 10 minutes. Thanks, great shop great folks.

Fixed my road bike in a decent amount of time, people there were friendly and very professional, they were chill and had every variety of wheels for my bike

I started road biking a few years ago. I decided I needed an upgrade with anew bike. I searched and compared a lot of bikes online. I decided on a Specialized Roubaix. This bike was comparable to many models I found online, so I decided to purchase it locally so I could have access to service. Well my rear hub somehow unscrewed itself. I brought the bike in and Robert was able to figure out how to put it back together. So I got my bike back within a week and there was no cost for the repair. Kudos..... And I still love my Roubaix!!!!

Great service, very reasonable labor costs! This place was fantastic! I highly highly recommend Acadiana Bicycle Company!!!Here is my story, I needed to get a front/back derailleur tune up done on a new bike. I had mail ordered this bike. I didnt know about ABC yet, so I went to Capitol Cylcery... They charged me $16.00 for the labor and I dropped it off. They didnt give me an estimated time. I called 5 hours after I dropped it off, Good news sir we are pretty caught up so we should get to it in 2-3 days.... I was caught off guard and hung up. I called again the next day, Friday at noon. Sorry sir we are pretty booked it will be 7-10 days before we get to it.... My theory is that since I didnt buy my bike from them, they put me to the back of the line... Definitely not the way to treat your paying customers...You better believe I called up Acadiana Bicycle Company asked how long it should take for a front derailleur tune-up. You can wait for it while we do it, should take maybe 15 minutes. And guess what! Dont you know, they only charged me $8.00 for labor! The mechanic even helped me to understand how I could do some of the work myself next time.You better believe that I will only go to Acadiana Bicycle Company from now on!!!

Very knowledgeable, helpful, and offer good suggestions for your riding questions. i would have purchased from them if they sold the bike I was looking for. I think it would benefit all of us if they had a little larger stock and selection.
