A great place to go with an amazing selections of books. It has everything from manga to poetry to children’s books to board games! With a very spacious area they have several areas to sit and read as well as a Starbucks inside! This is a great place to find a good read!

I have been coming to Barnes and Noble since I was little. I love it here. Its my favorite bookstore in town. They have so many other things here besides books. They have dvds, great quality journals, magazines, kids toys, pops, stationary, color pencils, adult color books, stuffed animals, and so much more. They have awesome food in the Barnes and Noble Starbucks. My all time favorite is the pizza pretzel they have there. Of course I also love their huge chocolate chip cookies and big cupcakes! Its been a favorite hangout with my best friend and a great date place with my boyfriend.

What can I say? Its one of the best places for AUTODIDACTS to frequent

Clean, spacious, well-organized. Staff were helpful and the line to check out moved quickly. They didnt have the title I wanted, but it was older. I just wanted to make sure before I ordered online to try to keep my dollars local.

Theres just something about a bookstore that makes your soul feel good. Barnes and Noble does just that. If I ever needed something to do in New Orleans/Lafayette/Baton Rouge while my partner was in his meeting/class or if he needed something to do, Barnes and Noble was always the perfect place to pass many hours!

Nice selection. They didnt have the book I wanted but the customer service rep was very nice and offered to order it for me. Been here before and will likely return.

Staff is very knowledgeable about many different subject areas and down to earth. They always have great and practical recommendations.

Theres something about the smell of a nice bookstore. I really like the newest layout of the store, grouping the genres (including toys, collectibles, etc) by topic (instead of having a toy section, book section, etc)

Went in for a Nook and they had them in stock! All other stores were out.

Went today around 5:30, and my child was “making a lot of noise “ and was asked to quiet him. So I would like to apologize for my child’s autism! You see... he does not know how to express his excitement and he loves Barnes and noble! And to top it off, we found his favorite book! “Go away big green monster” so he was very happy. I understand that y’all would not have a way to know that he has autism, but exactly bc of that you guys have to be more tolerant! I will not let this discrimination go and you will be hearing from me very soon !

Very well organized store with a great selection of books of all genres, magazines, activity kits, accessories and toys, gifts, a music section (DVD, cds, vinyl and more). There is also a coffee shop inside, great place to spend some time looking around and quite a few items were discounted as well.

I really pray that bookstores never become obsolete. There is nothing that will ever top the experience. It was one of the few things my dad and I had in common.

I love Barnes and Noble. I could get lost in there for HOURS. I absolutely love getting nose deep into books. The customer service is soo amazing and they are so very helpful. The Starbucks café in the store is so nice and clean and beautifully designed. The coffee and treats are delicious. I will continue to patronize them while building my book collection!

I love this store!!! They have such a wide variety of books. The copies they sell of books are really nice. They even have a rewards program you can sign up for to save money on books. I recently bought this book to my favorite series.

I purchased a book The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister on Saturday. This is the cutest book and gives a good lesson about friendship. Barnes and Nobles staff is professional and courteous. I just love the atmosphere in the store. Before Covid-19, I enjoyed going in there and selecting books. By the way, I am looking for a Mediterranean cookbook. Heres a picture of The Rainbow Fish.

Anyone reading my reviews can see by now that I am not overly critical and appreciate the good service a businesss staff gives me. I visited the Starbucks within the bookstore with two friends of mine. The baristas were very engaging and polite. I ordered the Caramel Brulee Latte, and upon suggestion tried it warm. It was delicious. The store was very clean. My friends and I sat at a table and enjoyed our coffee and cookies in a pleasant atmosphere.

Wide variety of books, board games and puzzles. And they even have a Starbucks inside!

They have drastically cut back on the educational materials in store. The few workbooks they still carry have been hidden in a back corner of the child section and seem to focus on elementary grades only. This is especially disappointing given that even public school children will be have to do a significant portion of their learning at home due to Covid-19.

Love this company and this location. They are always super friendly and knowledgeable here. They have a decent sized childrens section among fiction, sci/fi, fantasy and YA books. I was able to find a book for my grandson that isnt readily available here as well. (Petite Rouge)The Starbucks there is pretty nice as well too.

The B/N employees were very helpful and got the information needed to fix(replace) my nook. They also helped me with another way to charge my nook and a cover to protect my other nook. I really was happy with how fast they got everything done . Thank you so much

Always a nice place to go and wander. Between the books and games I can pretty much always find something Im interested in. Also the free wrapping area is convenient if youre picking up a gift on the way to a celebration/party.

Barnes and Noble is always great!! Theres always friendly, helpful staff willing to help you find anything youre looking for and if its not there they will order it for you no problem. All of the employees seem like they genuinely want to be there. Even in times that I didnt know EXACTLY what I was looking for they were ready and willing to help me figure it out.

Kids love going to Barnes & Noble to play and read! Nice stuff to look at! Great way to spend an hour if you like reading and looking at unique gift ideas.

I love this place. Purchased the childrens book angry birds movie part 2. Under $6. Not a bad price if you ask me.. also had the help of two employees at different times on same visit. Very impressed.

I love it here. When you walk in, its like the books are hugging you. Also there is a cashier that always rings me up and she is the friendliest person Ive ever met in my travels. Like a ball of rainbow light. She is wonderful.

Massive and very comprehensive selection. Staff is a bit snooty but no damage done. Attached coffee shop is a Starbucks so way expensive. The book prices in the main store are great. Lots of cozy spots to read and relax.

Not as good as it used to be

Ah, my own personal library. I come here to read books and look at the CDs and DVDS in the back. I also like their cafe too.

Its a big box book store and there arent small book stores anymore because of them. But staff is helpful and friendly and will order what they dont have in store...though if youre going to wait for it to arrive, you may as well get a real deal online somewhere else.Can find some good deals if youre there on the right day. Dont become a member unless you go a lot. And dont believe the spiel about saving $60 in coupons because those coupons are specific, something like if you spend over $50 on toys/games, you get $5 off. Not worth it unless you go a lot or have a teenager in high school, who needs books all the time.

Best place in town for books.VERY HELPFUL STAFF. Not only looks up on computer for specific books BUT SHOWS U WHERE THE BOOKS ARE FOUND. VERY DIFFERENT from other sites.

My favorite bookstore always have what I want. Great selection of crafts for adults and kids also. They even carry toys. You can also sign up for a membership for money savings. Very clean and very professional.

Great staff books and records

Barnes and Noble is a great place to read or do work. They have a star bucks Cafe here so you can get coffee to drink while you read. The books are in nice order and they have a lot of books. I feel really cozy here. They have magazines too and a place in the back full of movies and CDs. I love it at Barnes and Noble it is nice and quiet and the people who work here are very nice. They have different events and midnight releases also.

A pretty good brick and mortar bookstore. This store is more spacious than a lot of B&Ns Ive break to, and there is a sizeable music, toys/games, and kids section. Coffee shop has lots of seating, and there is a big, open section for seating on the opposite side of the store.

Standard for a B&N, the book selection, layout, and general atmosphere is A+. However, their sit-and-read area is almost bare. Its large enough to accommodate probably eight or more additional seats. The four they have makes it first-come-first-served. Not cool.

The is the best Barnes and Noble Ive been to in Louisiana coming in only second to the Baton Rouge location. They have a nice big train set and a table next to it (yay for parents of toddlers!) The coffee is also good and the tea selection is nice. The employees are helpful and make good book recommendations.

Never has the book I need. Absolutely no variety concerning spiritual philosophy other than “Christianity”. Not a source for classics like Wlilliam S Burroughs or Nietzsche!

Really good place for books and maybe some coffee. Nice environment and a lot of good options of books to choose. There is a Starbucks on the store, which is nice too. The problem is that the books are overpriced. They could try to make it a little bit more reasonable for the consumers

Love my Local Barnes and Noble. Cant go to any other book store but this one. Love the book selection and I have Aspergers and so of course I love fantasy books like Harry Potter by JK Rowling and Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan. Im a very big Rick Riordan fan and Harry Potter fan. Also I just the selection of Harry Potter stuff they have and oh I love the Starbucks cafe. 😍
